oh what's that? side characters? this is a teenage miss Diamond Feng, who was made by @simsandgiggles for me literally years ago. like probably 2020. she has FINALLY made her debut.
Diamond: i'm just happy to be included :)
Tumblr media
she comes with a family: her parents Jillian Feng, Samuel Shibasaki, and her baby brother Phoenix. tbh her original bio stated that she was a great-great etc etc... granddaughter of Lillian and Victor, but since Lillian appeared in this generation unwittingly, she'll just be a regular granddaughter. and am I saying that that means Lillian Feng named her daughter Jillian? why...yes. I guess I am.
Tumblr media
anyway Diamond and Jillian are not friends. lmao. eldest Asian daughters roll call in the comments tbh.
Jillian: daughter. you look like you enjoyed breakfast well today.
Diamond: thank you. you yourself look like you were the prettiest girl in school forty years ago.

Haru Danielle Feng
Tumblr media
Hey, I'm Haru. I'm the youngest daughter of Jillian and Victor. I'm a little high maintenance. Can you blame me? I'm the daughter of a renown actress and politician.
Anyway, I didn't really have anyone to play with growing up cause my siblings were busy being adults or teens or whatever.
I am super into wellness and focused on improving my wellness skills so I can live a peaceful zen life. Ugh. Ok Yuri wants me to talk about "the time I stole her boyfriend". So Dustin kept telling me they were done but he was still living there so I gave him an ultimatum. Obviously the guy chose me, Yuri has no time for him that's why he was so unhappy with her. If y'all really want to know, Dustin and I eloped, against everyone's wishes. But after moving in together in Henford-on-Bagley, things changed and we kept arguing and it just sucked. So I left him and moved to Tartosa by myself.
Tumblr media
Yuri, Liam and Brycen keep pestering me about this dumb story like it was so long ago. Like come on, I practically helped my sister and kept from marrying such an annoying ass guy. They're literally still gonna keep talking about it as ghosts. At least Ara only called me a dumb bitch once and never spoke of it again. Donovan is the only one who understands me.
I was living my best life in Tartosa by the water, until my brother Liam kept pressuring me to have a kid when he didn't have one of his own. Annoying ass. So I adopted this little girl from an adoption agency: Samira. Honestly...I didn't want her. I was content with my peaceful life alone in Tartosa. She's a good kid though, never complains, does her chores and does fine in school. I've grown very fond of her as she grew up. One day I received a call from apparently some distant family member? Offering me inheritance of some kind, but the catch was that I'd have to get married within the week or something. I needed money so I went to hunt down a new man, and I thought Samira having a father figure would be nice cause I was tired of doing everything myself. I met Akito around my first house in Tartosa and we clicked right away.
Tumblr media Tumblr media
Shortly after getting married we decided to have more kids. Akito was the one who wanted more kids, I was done, but I guess I don't mind fulfilling that for Akito.
I gave birth to twins: Carson and Wilson. When they were born we realized my house was too small so we moved north east of Tartosa on a bigger lot. We rebuilt our house twice and the first time it was built, Carson and Wilson were stuck in their room and the door wasn't working correctly. So none of us could get in to feed them. When we finally got through, CPS came in and took away Carson. I don't know where he is now but I had to continue on raising Wilson and Samira.
I got bored just doing wellness so I took up a new job in the fashion industry. Akito does work for some company or society? (stop it, he's not a criminal) and now Samira is in high school and just joined the cheer team. I grew up in a very privileged and luxurious home and I'm happy that I can continue to live this way and provide the same, if not, better lifestyle for my family. Anyway I expect nothing less than the best.

Turning Thirty
I’m turning 30 next year and it’s come to my attention that I’m running out of time.
People forgive you the introspection and uncertainty and series of bad decisions when you’re young. It may even be endearing, for a while. But when you reach 26, 27… there’s a definite air of pity and disapproval that filters through from your parents to your peers to your friends, and by 29 it’s unavoidable: you’re no longer ‘a bit creative’, eccentric, finding your way; you’re a liability, a lost cause, a very expensive mistake.
The sympathy you once stumbled upon gives way to judgment, shame, outrage: ‘What do you mean you don’t know what you want?’ ‘What are you doing with your life?’ ‘What’s wrong with a real job?’ ‘How are you going to pay for all this?’ ‘What’s the plan, exactly?’
I have to admit, they have a point.  What is the plan, exactly?
So I have decided to set about getting my shit together: not in the way I have been doing, or not doing, or failing miserably to do for the past ten years; but actually, evidentially, getting my shit together.
Not quite sure where to start, I decide I need resources…information…tools.  After scouring the internet, Twitter, magazines, newspapers and the bottom of a pint of frozen yoghurt, I begin to build my army of books, gadgets, workouts, clothes and inspirational people with which to embark on my noble quest: my getting of the shit together.
I start small.  Jillian Michaels is telling us to ‘Live your Best Life!’  It sounds good to me, so I buy Unlimited, Master Your Metabolism, Slim for Life, and six of her workout DVDs.  (Hey, when I’m in I’m all in.)
Patrick Holford says it’s all about vitamins.  A lot of people seem to disagree.  Clearly I should investigate.  I buy The Optimum Nutrition Bible, The Feel Good Factor, and The Little Book of Health Tips. (What? It was at the counter of the Health Store…in fact, maybe I should go back and get the other four.)
Medical Medium says it’s all about fruit and veg and celery juice every morning. I buy a juicer and commit to nutritional healing.
Spirit Daughter says it's all about intuition and inner work, writing moon journals for new and full moon ceremonies.
Heather Askinosie and Energy Muse say it's all about energy clearing and setting intentions.
Channel 4 says moderation is key: look what happens if you eat too much, look what happens if you don’t eat enough.  I watch two entire series of Supersize vs Superskinny, and another of The Biggest Loser.  I’m almost wiped out.
Fuelled by a caffeine fix, I find Emma Woolf on Amazon and start ploughing through; An Apple A Day, The Ministry of Thin, and, oh my god, she’s got a new one! Letting Go. It’s a sign.
I sign up to DoTerra and fill my flat with essential oils and vitamins.
On a roll now, a yoga friend recommends two books to read for your health: Your body’s many cries for WATER: you’re not sick; you’re thirsty by Dr F Batmanghelidj and The Magnesium Miracle by Carolyn Dean MD, ND. Stocking up on fruit and veg I peruse the magazine stand for Women’s Health and a colouring book catches my eye. Fully stocked, prepped and ready, I survey my supplies.
Crystals are everywhere. I've been studying feng shui. I'm even planting seeds - it helps to nurture things when you're suffering with depression.
Aware Saturn, Jupiter and Pluto are all in Capricorn, I'm learning the hard lessons. Karma's a bitch. Systems don't work. And everything I thought I knew about myself gets rearranged. In it to win it, I plough on.
What's next? I ask myself. What's next?

Feng Shui Mommy - Become the Queen of Quickies
Before she was a cherished maternity blog writer, certified birth doula, and giving birth prep work instructor, writer Bailey Gaddis satisfied her very own pregnancy by acquiring a lot of publications-- which, generally, made her also extra confused, troubled, and terrified.
Tumblr media
Exercise does not have to be held with each other by laces, sweat-wicking spandex, and also a Jillian Michaels playlist you found in a health and fitness magazine. Toning as well as extending your muscular tissues and perking up your heart price could occur anyplace, anytime. Of the pointers listed below, some are a few of the endorphin-eliciting quickies I participate in while my womb was packing an infant, and also some are concepts from the human-making infants I have actually dealt with. I urge you to attempt these, then exercise your innovative nature by assuming up new methods to obtain in a quickie.
Squats:
While you're doing recipes, scrolling through your phone, or taking part in other fixed activity, squat into it. A squat is an outstanding method to prep your birthing muscles and obtain comfy thinking the most efficient birth setting, which is ... a squat. Play around with the squat until you find a setting that you feel safe in while it's triggering your glutes as well as thighs to tighten up. No demand to presume a complete squat, flexing your knees a little bit and decreasing your tush a couple of inches works. Squat for as lengthy as you feel comfortable, and also upgrade the advantages by dropping some Kegels into the mix.
Conquer the stairs:
There's a reason the "take the staircases" advice is duplicated ad nauseam-- it works. Whenever possible, abandon the uncomfortable silence of a lift as well as take the Stairway to Endorphins. And also hi there, Babe, be risk-free-- hang on to the handrail, as well as take your time. (You can take the elevator when the infant appears.)
Stand up for your health:
Sitting is the new high fructose corn syrup. When you rest for long periods of time, your blood circulation is restricted, your brain gets lethargic, as well as your body changes into still. Position your laptop on the kitchen counter, request a standing workdesk at work, or establish a timer to go off every hr, advising you to stand up and stretch for a couple of mins. Respect the state of minds of your body and sit down if you begin really feeling aching or tired-- behind every healthy mom ought to be a comfortable chair with a stool.
Book walk:
I learned what to try to find in a great bust pump, how you can exercise nonviolent interaction, means to enhance my social media presence, and how you can remain in The Now-- all while strolling. There's an audio book for whatever. Make use of the power of understanding (and juicy romance secret thrillers!) to obtain you moving. Download and install a book on your phone and also only let on your own hear it while you're on a stroll.
Spontaneous dance:
Life is a lot better when you allow on your own burst out in the Carlton. If you arrange a dance break every hr, where you stand and also do an inhibition-free shimmy to your preferred tune, your life will never ever be stagnant.
Screen stretches:
Take benefit of that looking at a display can be habit forming by working out in tandem with your screen time. While you're enjoying that docudrama on honey badgers, or the Genuine Homemakers reunion, action with some gentle stretches, making certain not to overextend yourself.

Lily Feng, Penny Pizzaz, and Bella Goth
lily feng: are you a rule-maker or a rule-breaker? (and explain)rule-maker(??). I just, I’m too lazy to break the rules. Like dress code? It’s so much easier to put on a hoodie and leggings than wearing SHORTS and CROP TOPS, like I don’t have time for that fam. Fashionable jillian is only available Friday-Saturday./p>
penny pizzazz: would you rather live in the city or on the mountainside? The mountainside. If I can’t talk to boys who may or may not be flirting with me, imagine if I was at the city. I mean my aunt lives in the city and I visit once and awhile and it’s NICE. But I also like mountainsides. They’re v pretty (like me), and quiet and cozyy :3
bella goth: if you were told right now that you could go on a dangerous and heroic adventure, would you?Yeah. Why not. My instagram bio literally is “I live for the thrill of it”. So yeep.

World-Class Homes Are Created by Houston’s Top Interior Designers
[ad_1]
They say that everything is bigger in Texas, and in some cases, they are certainly grander. In a state where the appetite for all things large and luxurious is positively voracious, cities like Houston have developed a marvelous pool of interior design talent. With more than 6.5 million residents in the Houston metro area, it is a big market for design, rivaling cities like New York and Los Angeles. People are design savvy and want top-notch creativity. Homedit has gathered a list of the top interior designers in Houston who can handle everything from designing every space in a new construction to the refresh of a living room or dining room.
Wendt Design Group
The Wendt Design Group is a full-service design agency that handles projects of all styles but has a focus on spaces that are classic modern, transitional or contemporary. Founded by licensed designer Amilee Wendt, this top interior design firm in Houston has a full team of professionals who work locally, nationally and internationally on residential as well as commercial projects. Wendt is an award-winning designer with more than 25 years of experience in the Houston area and in Asia. The company is known for creating designs that are reflective of personal style as well as functional and stylish.
Marker Girl
Under the tagline “happy home…happy everything,” Karen Davis creates designs that focus on stylish interiors that can “stand up to real-life living.” By blending stylish furnishings with fabrics and finishes that are functional and durable, Davis’ interiors are truly family friendly. All the work springs from her philosophy that the family living in the home is the element that provides the true feeling of home. The firm — whose name was inspired by her toddler-age daughter who had a decorating escapade with a black Sharpie — has been featured in House Beautiful and Traditional Home.  Davis also maintains an award-winning design blog.
Dodson Interiors
Dodson Interiors is known for its “Casual Glamour — sophisticated, refined designs that meld Hollywood glam with a transitional design. Projects ranging from remodeling to new construction have earned founder Julie Dodson the label Star on the Rise from the Houston Design Center and 20 Young Designers to Watch from Traditional Home Magazine. Said to leave “an elegant and inspired design footprint,” Dodson acquired her skills working for a number of top interior design firms in Houston, including that of her mother, renowned designer Trisha Dodson. The firm’s work has been featured in dozens of media outlets, including Luxe magazine, HGTV and Southern Living.
Pamela Hope Designs

She earned her experience with a Manhattan designer and studied at the Harvard Graduate School of Design. The firm has won a variety of awards on the local and national level and has received a wide variety of media coverage, including House Beautiful, Houston House & Home, and Bayou City Magazine. Hope also speaks widely on various design topics including Feng Shui, decorating and color.

Award-winning Jane Page Design Group is a full-service interior design firm creating fresh designs that have an enduring sophistication. Headed by founder Jane Page Crump, the team takes on projects big and small, from design concept all the way through furnishing and finishing. For nearly 40 years, Jane Page has worked with clients across the country to design spaces of many styles, viewing every interior as an adventure with a “life-affirming spirit of possibility.” Crump says that “A design is not good if it’s not functional or if we don’t achieve the effect desired by the client.” She was named one of Houston’s Most Influential Women in 2010 and is a former president of the Texas Gulf Coast Chapter of the American Society of Interior Designers and the Texas Association of Interior Design.
William W. Stubbs & Associates
William W. Stubbs & Associates creates inspired designs for clients around the world that have earned him a place on the AD 100, Architectural Digest’s list of the World’s Top Designers and Architects and the moniker “the Indiana Jones of interior design.” His work has included private residences, vacation retreats and a corporate jet. Stubbs adopts a holistic approach with the aim of designing a space for clients that “serves their lifestyles, nurtures their innermost being, and lifts their spirits each time they walk in the door.” Stubbs is also host of Emmy-nominated Moment of Luxury, a lifestyle series seen on PBS nationwide, and has a blog called Creating Your Classic Life that covers his fascinating life journey of collecting, admiring and creating.
Laura U Interior Design
Known for its bold yet polished designs, Laura U Interior Design creates interiors that are “Classically Current.” The firm was founded by Laura Umansky, a celebrated designer with degrees in art and architecture, as well as extensive design experience. Her ability to meld clean lines with striking details yields spaces of high design that are still practical living areas. Founded in 2006, the firm has more than 20 awards from ASID and her projects from across the globe have been featured in many media outlets. Clients appreciate her skill in creating the feeling of “warm luxury” within a family home that is highly functional and reflective of a family’s lifestyle.
Ginger Barber Interior Design
Harmonious designs and a penchant for neutral interiors have made Ginger Barber Interior Design one of Houston’s top firms. The founder’s motto of “keep it simple” is the cornerstone of her work that deftly combines elements of contemporary and traditional interiors. The resulting spaces are serene and uncomplicated, with a definite bent to the natural end of the design realm. For three decades, Barber has been working in Houston but she also enjoys creating designs for second homes outside the city, ranging from beach escapes to upscale farmhouses in rural areas. In 2014, the Decorative Center Houston named Barber Designer of the Year. She is also known for her support of equestrian rescue and is involved with Habitat for Horses.
Paloma Contreras Design
A modern take on traditional style is what helps distinguish Paloma Contreras Design. Contreras is an interior decorator, tastemaker, and design blogger who seamlessly blends classic silhouettes and timeless pieces with glamour and color. Well-versed in a wide range of styles, she has been recognized as a “Next Wave” interior designer by House Beautiful, named to LUXE Magazine’s “Gold List”, and recently featured as one of 10 “New Talent” designers in ELLE DECOR. Yuri Christine Feng
Tumblr media
My name is Yuri Christine Feng. And I'm gonna be a star. Just like my momma Jillian Choi. I'm more of a singer/musician, mom was an actress. So like, I'm her 4th child but 3rd with my dad Victor.
Since my big sis Ara moved out before I became a toddler, I was basically raised as the only girl in the household until Haru came around.
Brycen, Liam and I were always pretty close and it was nice having 2 guys back me up at school when people were mean. Speaking of which, I never understood why we got bullied so much in elementary? We're Jillian Choi's kids LOL. Maybe they meant to hate on mom cause she homewrecked dad and Lily's relationship before having us (sorry mom but you a hoe for that).
When Brycen moved to San Myshuno to be independent while in college or whatever, I tagged along and was like bye mom not down for your house rules. Big bro took care of me while studying and playing college soccer till I was done high school. He let me host parties and all when I was building my career. I had a lot of fun living with him and it was great to see him settle down with such a lovely lady.
When Samuel was born, I realized I had to move out. I bought this nice loft in San Myshuno with my hard earned superstar money and hosted such lovely parties with my friends and family. I met Dustin Clevenger at a bar once. Or club? Was it down the street of the loft? Whatever, ANYWAY, we dated and I told him "bestie let's move in!". So one evening Haru came over and wanted to hang out THIRTY MINUTES BEFORE MY SHIFT STARTED? I agreed to hang and told her to stay as long as she wants cause she's my sis right? This hoe...FLIRTS WITH MY MAN and this "man" RECIPROCATES??? I was totally unaware that they were seeing each other behind my back and one day Dustin admits it to me because they just became official and she wanted him all to herself. Like girl, get your own man first of all and then you won't need to share and this guy is dumb as hell. I GAVE HIM A ROOF OVER HIS HEAD??
Tumblr media Tumblr media
Anyway, I'll let Haru tell the rest of the story cause I moved on and rekindled a lil fling from high school with Kiyoshi Ito.
Tumblr media Tumblr media
We eventually got married and had Daiki in San Myshuno. (Thanks for delivering him Brycen, luv you big bro)
Tumblr media Tumblr media Tumblr media Tumblr media Tumblr media
We decided Tartosa was the place we wanted to settle down in and have our second child Kaori. My children have grown so much and now Daiki is a teenager going through some emo phase or whatever. Oh we also have a dog cause Daiki's a spoiled brat hehe.
Hope you keep following our big family's lil stories!
Tumblr media
Edit Nov 2023: Kaori is now a teenager too.
Tumblr media Tumblr media Tumblr media
Edit May 2024:
Yuri moved her family into her childhood home in Del Sol Valley. She took in Liam and Aaron as well since she wanted to spend time with her brother. When Liam passed away, she and Kiyoshi became her nephew's guardian.
