speaking of monster hunter, my personal headcanon that doesn't really have any canon basis whatsoever is that safi'jiiva is actually the "middle stage" of the metaphorical xeno'jiiva evolution line. as a safi gets older the little stars it has on the edges of its wings grow to cover the whole body and it becomes this weird living night sky black dragon monster. just a GIANT all-powerful dragon covered in stars draining life wherever it goes. nothing else aside from darkness and the lights of its eyes. again ZERO canon basis whatsoever here i just think it'd be cool
