Her personality:

• Unlike Yoongi, I see Hoseok vibing best with a partner who is energetically similar to him. He is so vibrant that I think someone moody or angsty would bring him down.

• They say he is the “celebrity” of BTS, but I don’t see him with another celebrity at all. I imagine her as someone completely “normal”, grounded, and averse to the spotlight.

• She wouldn’t need to be particularly extroverted, either, as long as she is generally happy and high-spirited.

• Elementary school or art teacher vibes, for sure. Maybe also a nurse, librarian, counselor, or interior designer.

• A little quirky and possibly crafty.

• Incredibly kind, especially towards children and animals. Is the type of person to take someone into her home regardless of the circumstances.

• Nurturing and caring.

• Hoseok is so neat tidy (and I love him for that), and I think someone messy or cluttered would get on his nerves.

• MBTI: ISFJ or INFP. Warm, dependable, altruistic, and loyal.

• Easy-going and easy to get along with. Maybe a little shy and mousy around his celebrity friends.

• Probably a homebody that loves to spend her free time in a reading nook with a warm cup of tea inside her well-decorated apartment.

• Would look for a partner who values quality time and takes care of her just as much as she takes care of him.

Her looks and sexuality:

• Cute, pretty, and feminine; although her looks wouldn’t be dramatic or striking.

• Her outfits would be colorful, whimsical, and maybe a little eccentric (but definitely not as bougie as Hoseok’s).

BTS Ideal Type Reading

I was pulled to this one, as these guys have a bit more experience in the live department, than our 4th gen groups, so I was curious to see what they get for this.

Jin (The Star/Victory) Umm, does he want to date a celebrity!? He never gave me that vibe lol But these cards give me that. He would want someone successful, that knows their worth and their potential, a shining star in their own right. He wants someone confident, a believer. Someone who believes in themselves and makes things happen. Maybe he won't want a celebrity, just someone who is able to build their own success, by their own terms. Who would want someone who is optimistic and hopeful, which makes sense since he is like that as well, so someone a bit similar to his mindset. Wonder what he would get as a boyfriend whenever I feel like getting to that.

Suga (Queen of Wands/Deceit) Umm, what is this, why did I feel the deceit card would pop up eventually for someone. I did also see the knight of wands popping up too. He wants someone fiesty and passionate, someone fun, with a lot of energy. Seriously Yoongi, why is deceit an ideal type? He likes someone with a bit of an edge. I am getting that it is more about the image of the card, than the word on it, the person seems a bit battered, a little hardened. I am seeing all the red, so definitely someone passionate with a lot of fire, they run on that, so he may be more into people with strong fire placements. I think he would want someone flawed. Oh man, this is so Pisces energy here

RM (The Tower/Door to Personal Healing and Happiness) It seems he may want someone who is willing to change things, or shake things up to find happiness, to restructure their whole set system, maybe to break traditions or the status quo in a sense. He wouldn't want someone to stay stuck in a system they don't like and does nothing to change it. The way to happiness is to create changes. This is kind of specific, so not sure this had to with a relationship in the past or now, but not much else here.

Jhope (King of Swords/Storm Warning) Okay, umm this seems more about him, than an ideal type, like he is the KOS's, he is an Aquarius. This is giving me, I don't want to step into that sh**. He knows the mess he can get into. It is like he is clear of mind and thought. In relationships he may be in a fog, or things just aren't as clear. It is like he is looking away from that mess. You see how I have the cards is the man in the deck is looking away from the storm, he wants no part of it. So, he doesn't have an ideal type. He may not want to be in a relationship at all right now. I just keep getting mess and messy. It is like he knows his mind is clear and sharp when he is not involved in that, strong Aquarius energy showing up here.

V (King of Pentacles/Fourth Chakra Archangel Raphael) Lol, what this is giving me. He also has no ideal type, this is his energy, this gives me, I am focusing on my coin and my money, and I love myself too much to focus on a relationship. That KOP's is him. He is focused on building his career, working on his goals. The fourth Chakra Archangel Raphael is about self-love and acceptance, so it gives me he is fine alone. But the fourth chakra is about love and compassion, it could indicate he is in a place to receive love, but with that KOP's energy, it seems he is focused on the bag. He is a Cap, so it makes sense. The way in 2016 Jungkook's nickname was "international playboy" -a nickname he coined himself- and when you compare it to the nicknames people use for him now... It's fascinating as it is scary.

I don't think it was only jikookers tho, it was definitely shippers in general.

I got into BTS in June/July 2017 and it was absolutely common and normal to see people saying Jungkook was rude, or a brat, saying "I want to fight Jungkook". I remember one tumblr post that went something like "jungkook is the type of guy I want to push into the pool with his cellphone in his pocket." It was a joke; but there was a good chunk of the fandom who just felt kind of aggressively towards him. I can confirm, he was very much a DUDE, a BRO capital letters.

A lot of things changed with love yourself era, they got out a little of the Korea bubble and got a wider perception of the world, of people and other cultures. Everyone softened (Jimin also wasn't such a babyboy but I think Jimin's changes are more layered and complicated), or at least showed a softer image after DNA. That's also when JK's change of image also came about. Many things happened at the same time, it was a time of constant change.

He wasn't shipped with every member like this, I personally saw that ship frenzy increase overtime. It mostly started from 2018 onwards, like that was the time everyone got really intense with the kooktan ships. And suddenly he was like the coveted bangtan boyfriend and people moved from the "international playboy" to actually perceiving him as the maknae and baby and adored kid in the group. Which literally was not happening like that before DNA lol. But it was a really sudden change, like it was wild. It took years for the fandom to stop illogically referring to Jimin as a flirt, but it only took a few months for Jungkook to go from the fandom's international playboy to the ideal husband. And yeah, that's how ships had a huge role in that.

Before 2018, army would've never seen him as anyone's "boyfriend" or ideal partner except for maybe Taehyung's. Because taekook was a thing from the beginning, that's the only Jungkook ship that exists since forever so before 2018 it was literally only taekookers saw him as loving or seriously considered him as someone with potential of being a romantic partner.

I know gcft also played a huge role but that happened in November 2017 so I'll just round it up to 2018 which is literally two months after lol.

I've talked about this before but I will bring it up again. Jimin was such a big, huge agent of change in who JK is, and it's something that really goes over people's heads but Jungkook getting closer to Jimin affected his image and I really believe it had an impact on his personality too.

Jimin actually had an impact in who BTS as a whole is. I think it's stupid to talk of imaginary situations like "if this hadn't happened.." because things do happen, they did happen, so I usually don't talk like that but I'll make an exception now; if Jimin hadn't been part of BTS, I swear BTS would've turned out to be really pathetic men like suju or even bigbang. I link that tweet because it's been doing its rounds since yesterday, but there are more examples to what I'm trying to convey; giving gifts, the skinship and the physical affection.

Jimin simply by unapologetically being himself did so much for them as people and also for the group as a whole and more than anything for the perception the public had of them.

RM himself received a lot of hate from Koreans because of how “dark” he is so I think he was projecting his self-hatred onto his members in that video clip. I do hope he apologized to them. (The original video where he is being colorist to jhope and v is the BTS in Melbourne 2015 interview. They have reuploaded the video and cut out his colorist statement so I had to find a video that had the OG clip).

Korea is extremely racist (they just do a good job at hiding it). Hell, they even have their own word for the n-word. Jimin himself is guilty of saying it. The standard of beauty is also extremely strict and damn near unattainable in Korea. One of the qualities is to be pale. Most male idols (used to, it is getting better and interviewers don’t ask these questions much anymore bc sexist) state that they do want a pale, feminine, short partner because those fit the qualities of Korean women… people they are around and see everyday in a homogeneous society.

I would like to think Namjoon would date anybody he vibes with regardless of looks, but I DONT KNOW THIS MAN, ONLY HIS PUBLIC PERSONA. He could be a complete asshole behind the scenes and be completely different from what we all expect.
