Thinking about [this HC here], The ironic part about Sketch's poor diet before meeting Wanda is that Skitch knows how to cook.

They aren't top-shelf, but Skitch definitely knows more than the basics and fundamentals of cooking.

Like, yes, you shouldn't over-beat the eggs, and yes, the cream goes last in the sauce so it doesn't curdle, yes, you want *this* specific cut of meat because it's less tough when making blah blah blah..... But can't we just order in though?-

You kinda pick up things when your childhood friend is a chef...

Ordering takeout is just a hell of a lot easier than constantly buying food to prepare and cook later. Being with Wanda, someone who enjoys cooking more than buying ready-made food, definitely makes that feel less tedious when they're, say, making dinner together.

don’t quite know how to put this but a lot of gomens fans seem to think that az and crowley are parallels to elizabeth n darcy respectively— enterprising, bookish, witty heroine, and a brooding bad boy with a heart of gold (which is a fun setup and one i do enjoy) ! but personally i find it interesting to consider the opposite: aziraphale who in some way makes crowley feel lesser, cursed, in his attempts to express his love. (he is trying his best! his Talking Skills are nil!) crowley who needs to overcome his assumption that azzy doesn’t care, doesn’t want him… idk man im smashing their heads together like barbies

Hm...Skaar carefully copied his dad, green on black eyes flicking between their hands to make sure that he was doing it right before Skaar perked up, "Its easier!"

He didn't know why that came as a surprise. Unlike his universe's Hulk, David was good at cooking, something that had taken a few weeks to get used to when they all met. And from the lessons that Dad had been giving him, Skaar was finding that he rather liked cooking too!

It was a little like sword training, finding and learning all the right steps until the hybrid found was a meal prepared, something tasty and rewarding for the work he put in. It was a lot like sword fighting they'd found.

Just a shame that such a thing couldn't be said for everybody.

Next to the duo, Hiro raised their good brow and smirked, "I don't know, I feel like that would make us match better at least." Their own dish was....well, it was something. One portion of the meat was practically pitch black, chocolate sauce drizzled over some fried fish. After all, instructions only seemed to be suggestions and Hiro preferred to do this cooking stuff their way!

It is actually pretty fucked up that we are all expected to prepare 3 meals for ourselves every day. Like. Cooking is basically an artisan skill but instead of expecting some people to do it for everyone, Everyone’s gotta do it all the time?? It’s like if everyone had to sew all their own clothes? I am definitely complaining about just having to do a task I don’t wanna, but?? Like we have at least twice as many tools for cooking as tools for Everything else combined. + Juno’s got a Lot of leather-working stuff + I’ve got a lot of sewing + knitting stuff + Juno is also Very into cooking + cooking tools, but?? It’s just fucked up. + like we’re all supposed to be up to date on the trends and techniques and material storage as if we are?? Professionals?? I’m not!! If you’re a blacksmith, you should not also then have a second workshop in the kitchen where you have to do a whole other professional task!!

🍞 [BREAD] Does your OC have any allergies? How severe are they? Do they require equipment to help them?

None of my OCs have allergies, though that might be a fun thing to add at some point. Just not too strong ones, because there is no equipment to help them 😅 I'd probably have to keep it from "eating it makes them sick" for medical probability of survival.

🥖 [BAGUETTE BREAD] Where is your OC's favourite food from? Is it a variety of places?

Fun fact: I decided absolutely randomly that Merridy loves sheep cheese, because eh, why not, and I needed something for a chapter. Weeks later, I realized that d'oh, she grew up on a fucking sheep farm. I swear, that moment she looked at me like "no shit."

And since it's favs, that absolutely includes Damien and Riordan.

Damien likes stuff made from local ingredients of the town he grew up in. It's what he could get his hands on, and what he learned cooking with. He'll experiment, but that's what he always comes back to.

Riordan would just list "everything he cooks--and my mama's pie," lol.
