And then there were three. But in the spirit of the holiday season, the show brought back all ten groups for one last hurrah. Most of this episode feels more like an old school variety show than a competition, but the individual performances from the three finalists are all excellent.

Group opener

It can be easy in the modern world to discount the impact that art has on people's lives. But in times of difficulty, we often turn to music for comfort and inspiration. If this version of Michael Jackson's classic anthem doesn't stir something inside you, I don't know what else to say.

Trivia:

Austin from Home Free was sick in the final days of the competition, and ended up whistling his vocal parts during rehearsals to preserve his singing voice for filming.

Nick and the other judges may have poked fun at Ben for his vocabulary, but music does have a lot of specific technical terminology and jargon. (Props to Chris Rupp for actually offering one serious answer among the jokes.) A little wordplay never hurt anybody, though.

Group performance

If there was one consistent theme for the whole season, it could be expressed by one line from this song: "We belong together." Dozens of talented singers coming together to create beautiful harmonies and rhythms are sure to brighten someone's day. This performance certainly puts a smile on my face.

With VoicePlay mostly being in the boxes or in the middle of big groups for this episode, we didn't get a great look at their full outfits, which is a shame. Luckily, they uploaded a bunch of backstage photos to their Facebook page.

VoicePlay's stalwart sound guy Paul and his mom were in the audience for the finale.

Basically I watched this to shit myself and ended up heartbroken, more so than the first season, even. Once i started piecing things together it became less scary and more so just sad in the best way possible. The Toonami Trending Rundown for January 21-22, 2017. Another good week of the better cartoon show passes with Banagher getting the Gundam Unicorn and Gon having his bout with Hisoka among other moments. In terms of trending, Toonami and every program’s respective hashtag trended in the US during their respective East Coast airings, Hunter x Hunter and One Piece reaching the top trend, and Dragon Ball Super, JoJo’s, and OPM reaching the #2 position. Super, DBZ, Hunter x Hunter, and Shippuden also popped back up on the trends later in the night, and during the primetime hour at 8, both Dragon Ball Super and Samurai Jack also trended in the US. Toonami would also trend on tumblr.

Finally, One Piece produced a pair of character trends, one being Zoro as he attempts to fight Kuma but his attacks were repelled without effort with his Paw-Paw fruit abilities, while Franky, Sanji, and Usopp attempted to back him up, but proved no match against Kuma’s power. Kuma also trended as he offered to stand down if the Strawhats surrendered Luffy to him, but they refused, forcing Kuma to bomb the entire island in response.

This week’s feature was a celebratory nod to the hip-hop group Run the Jewels with the release of their new album, Run the Jewels 3, as all the Toonami promos and packaging featured music from the album including a music video which you can see below. Indeed, El-P and Killer Mike were brought together by Toonami head Jason DeMarco himself back in 2011 and are regular contributors to Adult Swim's music library, with their works regularly being used on Toonami bumpers and music videos.

Some great news in regards to Samurai Jack was released on Sunday. During one of Adult Swim’s bumps when they were answering twitter questions, it was announced that the long awaited 5th season of Samurai Jack will premiere on March 11th at 11:30pm Eastern. Toonami will most likely have an expansion to accomidate Jack, though no word yet on whether Super will be pushed up to 11 or bumped down to 12 along with the rest of the block each by 30 minutes to make way. We’ll keep you posted as we know. In terms of trending, #SamuraiJack trended on both Twitter and Facebook as a result.

This year's full list of special Record Store Day releases has arrived

Ah yes, Record Store Day. To some, it's that frustrating day when all those vinyl-loving hipsters pollute your local record store, but to those who actually care about music, it's the day when fans of the glorious vinyl record get together to share in their combined love for the format. Now, we know exactly what special releases will be unleashed for this year's event.

Just last week we received word that this year's Record Store Day will feature a few rare David Bowie releases (including one live album that's sat in the vaults for 40 years), and now, ahead of next month's April 21st kick-off, we've now seen the full list of special releases making their way out onto the racks this year.

With beloved musicians Run The Jewels serving as this year's global ambassadors, there is set to be close to 500 exclusive releases this year, with limited-editions, box-sets, reissues, and even a few cassettes marking the occasions.

This year will also see special releases from Arcade Fire, who are reissuing their first EP on vinyl for the first time, Courtney Barnett, who is releasing a picture disc of her The Double EP: A Sea Of Split Peas, and a two-track 7″ featuring cuts from her upcoming album, and even Rage Against The Machine, who will release their six-track performance at the Democratic National Convention in 2000.

Needless to say, there's bound to be something for everyone, with The Flaming Lips, Mastodon, Eric Clapton, Wu-Tang Clan, Sublime, Sufjan Stevens, and The Cure also participating in this year's festivities.

Aware Home Farm is empty, Frank and Charity ready themselves to execute their scam. Charity is in disguise.

The jeweller arrives and they both play the role of a couple wishing to purchase diamonds. It begins promisingly but the situation soon gets tricky.

Charity spots an opportunity and swipes a few diamonds but the jeweller is quick to notice he’s a couple short and the pair make a quick escape.

There’s a charged moment between them and they share a kiss but Frank’s soon left fuming by Charity’s actions.

Tracy is disappointed when Pearl is the only one who’s turned up to book club and Tracey is shocked when Pearl suggests they read something a little racier. This gives Tracy food for thought…

Threatening to call the police on Charity; soon Rebecca and Lawrence step in to smooth the situation over before the police get involved. Chas and Debbie  are dumbfounded by Charity’s illegal actions while Frank wonders if he’s been implicated as he watches the Whites leave the pub.
