Mutant Pokémon
The creations of the mad Doctor Splicer in the SMG Pokémon Anime Universe. The new Porygon evolutions technically aren't mutants but Splicer did program the items that cause said evolutions, so they're on the list. Also, the Porygon evos are officially in the Donanda Pokedex because those programs were written and made open source a few years ago, and so are Psyduck and Golduck because a bunch of specimens escaped into the wild at some point a long time ago and they integrated into the ecosystem well enough that they were mistaken for a newly discovered Regional Variant. The rest are only registered after the twerp squad encounter and defeat Splicer the first time (he escaped afterwards), and aren't considered native to any region.
(Note: Shinies are on the right. I'll add more drawings as I make them)

Ultrazard
The True Dragon Pokémon Dragon/Flying Ability: Inner Fire (The Pokémon functions as though it is a Fire-Type alongside its existing Types) Despite clearly being related to Charizard, this Pokémon is not known to evolve into or from any other Pokémon
Ultrazard actually isn't revealed during the initial Lab Raid, instead it's revealed during the League (which will happen after the Vacation Arc) where one of Jet's matches ends up being against Doctor Splicer in disguise, who after revealing himself traps himself and Jet on the battlefield using force fields and makes Jet battle the final evolutions of all his creations (except Gardevior, he has a Gallade who's apparently Ash's Gardevoir's brother) one after the other to try and prove that they're superior to normal Pokemon. Yes, that's a seven Pokemon team. Do you think a maniac like him gives a shit?

Note
Idea: after their second teleportation spell of the day, Hoopa's really not feeling so hot, and they've landed in a random field in Luminos instead of back at the castle (though thankfully Absol knows the way back since her danger sense lets her know where not to go since not being able to inform the adults of what happened to Tama would definitely count as a disaster from her perspective. Yes they'd be able to tell them since Hoopa can speak English (though he does stick to simple sentence structure and speak exclusively in first person. actual canon anime thing from his movie btw)). So he figures that in this sort of situation they need a hero, and given his past the first (and really only) person who comes to mind is Ash.
Now, since the code/magic mix is affecting him worse than before, even his summon-only version of Hyperspace Hole now takes considerably more effort to use and looks a bit unstable (the portal flickers, weird orange lightning crackles over the ring every so often, you get the idea), but he does still manage to open one near Ash, Miku and Jet, who were in the middle of traveling to Jet's eighth Gym battle but immediately notice there's something wrong with the portal and decide that the gym can wait since whatever's going on with Hoopa is probably more immediately important.
Once they're in Harmonia they get the rundown from Absol of what little the Pokemon know about the situation (well, Ash and Pikachu do and then translate for the others since they can understand Pokemon (Pikachu because he is one and Ash because Cool Aura Tricks). Hoopa would've explained instead of Absol but he needs to recover after summoning them in his current condition) and thus informed Ash leads the charge back to the castle...for a few seconds before it's pointed out that he's going the wrong way and they follow Absol instead.
(don't worry too much about Hoopa. He'll be fine once he's been debugged by someone versed in code medicine, and since Vitality has a personal stake in all this even if she doesn't know it yet she'll definitely get the chance to check him over sometime soon.)
OUBH THIS IS GOOD,, I was actually going to write the whole reactions to Tama being frozen thing before The Unsealing, but I didn't know how. But this is really good, I like it a lot,,

Southern Magnamiel:
"Chaos!"
A miniature blizzard saturated in darkness cuts through the mountain air, blowing apart a particularly large crowd of ghosts before they can do anything to the family of cats and pair of Lakitu tourists they'd cornered. As the strange spell finishes, its caster is revealed; a lanky brown cat in strange half-armored red and white clothes and a ragged cape. She turns to address them.
"There's a guard house two streets west, you'll be safer there."
The group makes haste after taking a few brief moments to thank her for saving them, and once they're gone she glares up at the unnatural storm.
After she'd found Tiresias's note, Dapple's fine-tuned adventurer's instincts had intuited that things were about to go to shit, most likely due to whatever the hell Damian must have been doing that involved messing with everyone's heads so they'd ignore the massive red flags he'd been waving around. So, she'd begun making her way through the mountains towards Devos, changing into her old outfit (though not her old species) since her usual dress isn't exactly Proper Adventuring Attire.
And of course, a few hours in, all hell breaks loose, and quite literally from the looks of it. A thick layer of sickly green clouds hangs over the entire continent, blocking out the sun, with the only breaks in it being nine swirling, glowing vortexes that are hemorrhaging ghosts. Mostly cats, of course, but a massive number of the various monsters and magical creatures that inhabit Harmonia as well. If she remembers her geography lessons properly, the nearest of them is somewhere above the border between Magnamiel and Luminos, while the largest is in the middle of Devos, maybe a bit to the west. That one makes the most sense as her target, especially since she'd been going there anyway.
Path now set, she takes off at a run.
-------------
Eastern Devos
...Yeah not sure what to actually put here so I'll just say that Tonio and Piper are making good use of their new ghost-hunting tech and fighting their way across the kingdom towards either the castle or the seal, depending on where Damien/Disc is at the moment. They're being guided by Tonio's "intuition" (aka undiagnosed clairvoyance), so they've got a good idea of where they need to go but I don't.
------------
Cilcia's Capital
"Hold your ground, men!"
The battalion of royal guards do their best to keep formation in the face of their spectral enemies, bravely defending the civilians behind them with blade and shield and song as they evacuate to the designated shelters. They're vastly outnumbered, however, the force spread thin across the sprawling city, and they're slowly but surely losing ground.
And then a massive blur of greens and browns surges in, the telltale glint of polished steel on either side of it, and dives straight into the spectral tide, sending the ghosts into a frenzy that causes most of them to take their attention off the soldiers.
After several moments of chaos punctuated by unholy shrieks and the clashing of blades, the ghosts scatter, revealing the battalion's savior.
What they see is a brown, vaguely birdlike creature as tall as a building, draped in a heavy green cloak with a matching (and rather stylish) wide-brimmed hat. A light brown scarf with ragged ends trails behind it, waving in the wind, and in its three-clawed hands is a pair of long bladed weapons with oddly shaped handles... recognizable to some as the separated halves of a massive pair of gardening shears. When the creature is first revealed, one of these blades is stabbed clean through the ghost of a Cymbal Troll, which seems to be absorbed into it.
It looks out over the group, its glowing blue eyes seeming to pierce into their souls, then nods once and runs once more down the street, leaving them to wonder exactly what sort of god just saved them.
As he runs, ClearAll grumbles under his breath. Just his luck that he'd decide to come here for a change of scenery the exact same day that some moron decides to start up some kind of ghost apocalypse. And worse, if he's correctly reading the code signature of the static interference that's blocking his portals, he knows exactly which moron it is. It had admittedly taken him a few minutes to recognize the signature, but to be fair it'd been well over a decade outside the computer and relative centuries inside, and the program in question hadn't been particularly memorable apart from the company they kept. Even now he couldn't remember the poor fool's name.
Rolling his eyes, he briefly goes over his list of priorities. Firstly, the thing he's been doing; traveling through the city and aiding anyone who's being overwhelmed by the ghosts, mostly by gathering the wayward souls into his shears to deposit into this world's afterlife once it's re-sealed. Steps two and three are to actually do said re-sealing and kick the moron's ass, the order depending on which makes sense to do first at the time, hopefully with the aid of this world's heroes.
He'd love to go beyond an ass-kicking, frankly, but while he feels that the moron's time has long since passed his programming disagrees. Of course, given just how many powerful people this scheme would piss off, he felt confident in predicting that their time is at least fast approaching.
His gaze flicks to the side, detecting a mass of incoming deaths that Need Not Be, and he shifts trajectory and readies himself for another bout.
------------
Luminos Castle, moments after the ritual
As the bizarre green clouds roll in, Ash tears his gaze away from the panicking Admin and her patient, closing his eyes to get a good look at what's happening in the sky with Aura Sight, and gasps.
"Incoming!"
Less than a second later, the vortexes appear and the ghosts come pouring out. While most of them spread out across the continent, large clusters seem to specifically target the Capital cities of each kingdom (except, rather expectedly, in Devos and Desiderio), and as a result the castle is about to get absolutely swarmed.
There's a series of flashes as the three Trainers let out several of their Pokémon.
Miku is the first to start dishing out orders, turning her attention to her oddly green-tinged Dragonair, "Night Concert variation G-7, with light show. Cover as much of the castle as you can."
Dragonair nods and shoots out through the nearest open window, and soon enough the air around the castle grounds comes alive as she weaves together an intricate, maze-like array of barrier moves, Tailwind, Aurora Veil, and even a few seemingly randomly-placed bubbles of Trick Room. While this blocks the main bulk of the spectral swarm, at least for now, several are either fast enough to have gotten past before the full blockade was up or crafty enough to make their way through without having to brute-force it.
Which is where the rest of the group comes in, having already gone outside to meet the ghosts head on.
"Golduck, Bob-ulk, Flash Cannon barrage!"
Exactly as Jet had ordered, the rage-fueled kappa and oversized purple mortar shell fire dozens of orbs of silvery energy up into the swarm which detonate as they hit, causing the weakest of the ghosts to dematerialize entirely and the rest of them to be scattered and disoriented. This makes them prime targets for the projectiles of the other Pokémon, though some ghosts seem to resist or outright ignore some attacks.
With another round of Aura Sight, Ash works out what's going on, "Guys, it looks like some of them have an extra type! It's probably based on what kind of magic they specialized in when they were alive."
That fits with my observations, comes a telepathic reply, Most of the ones that are ignoring our electric attacks are wearing Monaxian fashion, from what I can see.
The telepath in question is Jellibelum, Ash's fully evolved Donandan Water Starter. The Jellyfish part is now as large as Bob-ulk with eight tendrils coming off of it, four coming from the bottom "lip" of the bowl and acting as legs, while the other four come from the sides (as defined by the way the goldfish is facing) and all eight have three finger(or toe)-like phalanges positioned around an opening at their bulbous ends. The goldfish part's brainlike crest is significantly larger, and now attached to the jellyfish by what look like nerves, while the main body is now long and thin, with the tail fins atrophying to almost nothing (they're not exactly all that necessary now that the two organisms are one and the fish outright can't leave the bowl), while the dorsal fin is now long, white, and drapes horizontally like a cape, though with the pectoral fins doing something similar it all comes together to look more like a labcoat.
Anyway, with their new strategic knowledge they make reasonably short work of the ghosts inside the castle grounds, and with the blockade holding for now (especially with Dragonair continuing to refresh and redesign it even as the ghosts keep picking away at it) most of them head back inside to discuss what the hell is going on, and hopefully figure out a plan. Though a few Pokémon do stay outside to help the guards with any ghosts that do make it through, including Ash's Kirlia and Krookodile (because Dark Type) and Jet's Eevee (because Normal Type's ghost immunity).
(Also, Ash finds out about the interference that Disc is causing (whether intentionally or not) when he tries and fails to open a small portal so he can transfer in more of his Pokémon, and it's then confirmed when one of Melody's aides shows up to inform them that the Hyperlink Gate isn't working.)

Miku, laying awake at 3 AM: Minty is just Cold Spicy.
Pikachu: I swear, I'll make it look like an accident.
--------------
Jet: Would you punch Pikachu for 20 dollars?
Miku, dead serious: I'd roundhouse kick him lengthwise clear across a regulation battlefield for 5.
-------------
Miku: Pikachu and I are archenemies. We despise each-other with every fiber of our beings.
Ash: You've been brushing his fur for the past hour.
Pikachu: Irrelevant!
-------------
SMG29: Wait, I'm confused, do Miku and Pikachu like each other or not?
Ash: They get along like a city on fire.
SMG30: Isn't that meant to be a house?
Ash: *looks at them with pure, ancient exhaustion in his eyes* I know what I said.

Avatar Ash Teams (Update going into Song of a Usurper and Project Thunder)
original list here
Ash's Team
Pikachu
Squawkeye: The evolved form of Bullot
Jellibelum: The Cerebral Pokemon. The final evolution of Jellobe. Has a signature move called Brainwave, which is dual Water/Psychic like Flying Press but is otherwise identical to Surf (besides having 10 PP instead of 15 to compensate for the gimmick but that doesn't matter for Anime Logic). It determines which type to use on which pokemon individually, and picks which type would be weakest for ally pokemon, because Jellibelum is smart enough to have that kind of control over it.
Pengaz: It is not known to evolve to or from any other pokemon. Truly it is the perfect being.
Kirlia: explained in that one post where I drew her and Gardevoir.
Sgrub The Larva Pokemon Bug Type Ability: Defeatist Can evolve into either Roughiant or Heeliant. Ash got this one from an egg.
Hisuian Liligant Ability: Hustle How he got this one's kind of a long story...
Also he's been rotating his team around (as we know), and a few of his old Pokemon have evolved. Namely, he now has a Gabite, Emboar, Gigalith, and Typhlosion. Also, Primape is back and knows Rage Fist, and has used it 15 times so far (he's making sure to keep track).
Miku's Team
Farfetch'd
Flindit The main reason it hasn't evolved yet is because I just can't figure out names for the evolutions. This one in particular would probably only get to second stage though, at least while Miku's still part of the main group. Despite not being fully evolved, he's somehow learned his final evolution's signature move; Flintlock, a Special 20 Power Rock-type multi-hit attack where each hit has a low chance to inflict Burn.
Trolipede: Evolved from Rolitroli
Sakeisha The Blooming Pokemon Grass/Fairy Ability: Flower Gift Evolved from Sunshine Forme Cherrim at level 40
Mutant Meowth
Donandan Dragonair Dragon Pokemon (no really that's the actual category) Dragon/Ice Ability: Refrigerate
Jet's Team
Pyukumuku
Arachloak The Shrouded Pokemon The evolved form of Snugleaf and the final evolution of the Grass Starter Shyder. Like the other three it has a signature move; Undergrowth, a Grass version of Phantom Force with the additional effect of raising Arachloak's Attack by one stage during the setup phase, then lowering it by two stages after the attack is concluded. Yes, even if it misses.
Bob-ulk The Detonation Pokemon The evolved form of Bob-omb. Has the exact same types and ability. It's huge and slow as molasses, but is very strong and doesn't go down easy.
Eevee Though I have come up with three new Eeveelutions, and one of them is Ghost-Type and happens when Eevee spends time in a Graveyard... or anywhere else where the dead roam. You can probably see where I'm going with this :)
Mutant Golduck Same as Psyduck, just bigger and angrier. Even Primape thinks he's a bit much.
Komala (Brawn Forme) The Drowsing Pokemon Normal/Fighting Ability: Comatose (obviously) Komala can now assume two new formes, Brains (Normal/Psychic) and Brawn (original flavor Komala is now the Plain Forme), by swapping its log out for a Twisted Log or Hollow Log respectively. It will evolve into one of three new Pokemon depending on which Forme it's in when it reaches level 41.
The SMGs' teams haven't changed
Jessie's Team
Wobbuffet
Seviper
Donandan Raichu: evolved from Pikachu, obviously. Type and Ability are the same.
Vineper
Animaniq The Vintage Pokemon Ghost The evolved form of Cellouette, and the final evoltion of Doodoll. Yes, one of them finally caught it, though only after its first evolution. It also has a Ghost/Fighting Mega Evolution with the ability Iron Fist.
James's Team hasn't changed
Grant's Team
Bunnelby
Bibogel The Capybara Pokemon The evolved form of Donandan Bibarel.
Brrpent The Permafrost Pokemon Ice/Dragon Ability: Icy Scales Evolves from Snizzle in cold climates. This one has a rivalry with Miku's Dragonair
Slowmeba The Cell Pokemon Rock/Psychic Ability: Own Tempo A single-celled blob of primordial goo revived from a fossil. Literally has no brain. Thought to be the first Pokemon species to ever be formed from Mew's DNA back when it and the other Pokemon Arceus created directly were working on making the world.
Laser's Team
Lopunny
Heeliant (somehow keeps losing to Ash's baby Sgrub)
Venotreme The Platypus Pokemon Water/Poison Evolves from a Pondypus with Poison Point (the other options are Water/Electric Platyzolt from Static and the elusive Water/Fire Monosteem from the Hidden Ability Flame Body)
Citrode The Battery Pokemon Electric/Grass Ability: Electrosynthesis- The Pokemon's Grass-Type Moves are boosted by Electric Terrain. Donanda's Pikachu Clone, a battery-shaped mouse with a lemon twice its size on the end of its tail. Name comes from Citrus, Electrode, and Rodent.

Avatar Ash & Co. Pokémon Teams
So obviously traveling in a new region with new companions means new Pokémon, but I've never actually said what any of those new Pokémon are. So here we go!
(I'll draw the new new ones at some point. Also by the current point in the AU timeline the group's almost but not quite at the third gym (Anime Pacing Baybeeee!) so most of them haven't evolved yet. And they're in catch order.)
Ash's Team
Pikachu (obviously)
Bullot The Peashooter Pokémon Grass/Flying Ability: Sniper Description: A green parrot with a disproportionately large head and beak, and a circular hole in the front of the beak in place of nostril holes, which it fires seeds from at high speeds.
Jellobe The Jelly Fish Pokémon Water/Psychic Ability: Gooey Description: You know those goldfish with the big lumpy foreheads. This is one of those exaggerated so it looks like it's about 70% brain by mass (because it is), which is floating inside a levitating, spherical, water-filled jellyfish. Based on brains in jars, fish in bowls, and symbiotic relationships. The Water-Type Starter.
Pengaz The Pingas Pokémon Normal Ability: E E G It's that one meme Fakemon that looks like a Robotnik head.
Ralts (Mutant Forme) The Altered Pokémon Poison/Dark A mutated version of Ralts created by a mad scientist bent on world domination. It was created by splicing Ralts DNA with Alolan Grimer DNA, resulting in it consisting mainly of dark purple goo, which it has trouble controlling the consistency of. Its hair is uneven and an even darker shade of purple than the rest of it, its horns are jagged, overgrown and toxic green (its eyes are also green but you can't usually see that thanks to the hair), and its right arm has the little crystals Alolan Grimer and Muk have while the left only exists at all when Ralts focuses on it. Despite all the oddities and how painful they look at first glance, by all accounts Ralts is a perfectly happy, healthy Pokémon.
Miku's Team
Farfetch'd (already mentioned) Ability: Defiant
Flindit The Sharpshooter Pokémon Fire/Rock Ability: Blaze Description: A small red and grey rattlesnake with a piece of flint in place of a rattle and two rows of smaller flint spines running down its back. It can crack the flint on the end of its tail like a whip to shoot high-speed sparks at far-off opponents. The Fire-Type Starter.
Rolitroli The Transport Pokémon Type: Bug/Steel Ability: Off-Road (Certain Moves and terrain cause the Pokémon to change Forme) Description: Has two Forms. In On-Road Forme it looks like a cross between a centipede and a bus, while in Off-Road Forme it curls up into a wheel. It On-road is the default, and it changes into Off-road if it uses a Ground or Rock type move or is battling on rugged terrain. This boosts its speed and Physical Defense, but lowers its Physical Attack. It's the middle stage of one of the region's Early Route Bugs.
Cherrim ...This Pokémon already exists and only has one possible ability.
Meowth (Mutant Forme) The Cheshire Pokémon Type: Ghost Ability: Shadow Tag Description: Made by the same scientist as Ralts. A tall, lanky Meowth that's very obviously made of fabric. Mostly purple and stripey, with actual socks for paws, a button in place of a coin, eyes with alternating green and blue rings, the head of a broom in place of the usual curl at the end of its tail, and a massive shark-tooth grin. Based on the Cheshire Cat, a witch's cat, sock monkeys, and haunted dolls.
Jet's Team
Pyukumuku Ability: Innards Out
Snugleaf The Bundled Pokémon Grass/Bug Ability: Grass Pelt Description: A pale yellowish-green spider wrapped up in a big bundle of bright green leaves, with only its nervous-looking face and front four legs peeking out. The second stage of the Grass Starter.
Bob-Omb The Detonation Pokémon Fire/Steel Ability: Blast Shield (The Pokémon is immune to explosion-based moves, and can use Self-Destruct, Explosion, and Misty Explosion without fainting) Description: It's a Bob-Omb, what do you want from me?
Eevee Ability: Adaptability
Psyduck (Mutant Forme) The Fucking Snapped Pokémon Psychic/Electric Ability: Electrokinesis (Electric Type Moves also do Psychic Type damage [follows similar rules to Flying Press]) Description: Yep, all three of them ended up with one of that nutjob's creations. Jagged black-and-yellow feather pattern, ruffled feathers, angry eyes. Its eternal headache now effects a different part of its brain due to overexposure to electricity, unlocking the full extent of its psychic abilities, overriding its original type, and changing the pain's effect from confusion to white-hot unending RAGE.
SMG29's Team
Nidorina Ability: Poison Point Well, Female Nidoran is #29 after all.
Eggdog The Eggdog Pokémon Egg/Dog Ability: Bork
SMG30's Team
Glimmet Ability: Toxic Debris
Donandan Shuckle (yeah I settled on Donanda as the region name. Luke's Australian, sue me.) The Mold Pokemon Bug/Steel Ability: Heatproof Description: The shell is bigger, kind of blocky, and dull green and metallic grey instead of red and white. The head and legs look more-or-less the same.
Jessie's Team
Note: Jessie and James decided to stick to two previous team members each (outside of emergencies) so they could focus on training the new recruits.
Wobbuffet Ability: Telepathy (by process of elimination because there is no way that any of Team Rocket's Pokémon have Shadow Tag)
Seviper Ability: Shed Skin
Donandan Pikachu The Scorpion Mouse Pokémon Electric/Poison Ability: Contagious (Any physical contact will either poison the other Pokémon, change their ability to Contagious, or both) Description: A bit shorter and bulkier than the usual Pikachu, with darker fur, a long vertical stripe running from the top of its head to the base of its tail (it still has the two horizontal stripes on its back), the cheek pouches are now raised and angular like frills or tufts of fur, the tail is mostly the same except it has that black marking on the end people used to keep thinking the normal one had and a long stinger thing running down from the bottom corner of the end, the black on the ears is bigger and a bit jagged like Pikachutwo's. The idea of Jessie just randomly ending up with a special Pikachu that isn't Ash's amuses me for some reason.
Vineper The Scrawny Pokémon Grass/Normal Ability: Dry Skin Description: Look up blunt-headed tree snakes. That but as a cartoon character.
James's Team
Amoongus Ability: Regenerator This is partially because I'm planning on introducing a regional variant of Foongus with a new evolution, the third gym leader has that evolution as their Ace, and I want James's Amoongus to develop a rivalry with that Pokémon. Because Pokémon Anime.
Mime Jr. Ability: Filter
Grattle The Padded Pokémon Grass/Ground Ability: Thick Fat Description: Cross between a rattlesnake and the Tsuchinoko. It's a counterpart to Vineper.
Geomatrix The Singularity Pokémon Ghost/Psychic Ability: Event Horizon (Prevents all Pokémon on the field from escaping until this Pokémon either faints or wins) Description: A bunch of colorful geometric shapes orbiting a single point. At that point is the actual Pokémon, which is microscopic and can only interact with anything on the Macro scale by using its powerful telekinetic abilities.
Not Caught but Follows the Characters
Doodoll The Hand-Drawn Pokémon Ghost Ability: Patch Job (When the Pokémon is switched out, the Pokémon that replaces it regains some HP) Description: A black-and-white paper doll. Doodoll and its evolutions feel the pain of nearby people and Pokémon as if it was its own, and will do whatever it can to heal them so that the pain stops, though some will actually use this ability to actively seek out those who need help. This one in particular has decided to be the TRio's new medic and isn't taking no for an answer, and none of them have thought to just catch it because they're idiots.
Grant's Team
Bunnelby Ability: Pickup
Donandan Bidoof The Plump Mouse Pokémon Dark/Normal Ability: Contrary Description: Its fur is now a dark muddy brown instead of the usual bright brown, and is so soggy and shaggy that it covers its eyes. Unlike most Regional variants, there is no difference in behavior or personality from the usual version.
Snizzle The Frost Pokémon Ice Ability: Icy Scales Description: Ice Snake.
Laser's Team
Buneary Ability: Clutz
Heeliant The Heel Pokémon Bug/Dark Ability: Prankster Description: Anthropomorphic ant that cheats at boxing. It and a Bug/Fighting Type called Roughiant (the Comeback Pokémon) are branching evolutions of a pure Bug type called Sgrub (the Larva Pokémon). Sgrub has absolutely terrible stats and the ability Defeatist, and evolves into Roughiant if it knocks out 100 Pokémon or Heeliant if it faints 100 times. It's a sports movie Pokémon line. With ants.
Pondypus The Platypus Pokemon Water Ability: Poison Point Actually I have a picture of this one
Tumblr media
It's an old picture, admittedly, so I'll redo it when I draw the other ones.

Watch Out for Fallen Mushrooms!
The Pokemon SMG crew finally reaches the city where the third Gym is located (have not come up with the name of the city). Unfortunately, before they can actually go to the gym Team Rocket shows up again and manages to snatch up several of their Pokemon thanks in large part to James's Amoonguss apparently getting really good at Powder Moves since they last saw it. Everyone still free is stuck on the defensive trying not to get hit by the clouds of You Get Status Effect all over the field, when suddenly in comes a new contender; Princess Peach!?
Well, sort of. I'll explain after the battle.
Speaking of which, Peach sends out a Pokemon of her own; Foonglyde, the Parasol Pokemon. It's the evolution of the Grass/Flying Donandan Foongus, and as its category implies it's shaped like an umbrella. It also has nine long fronds, three at the tip of each mushroom cap, that function as propellers. And in this context it uses these propellers to blow Amoonguss's powders away, knock it out with its array of flying type moves, and make Team Rocket "blast off" with a powerful Whirlwind. Amoonguss Will Remember That.
On to Peach herself, she's not technically Princess Peach, or at least she doesn't remember being Princess of the Mushroom Kingdom. In fact, she doesn't remember anything from before two years ago when she was found wandering lost and confused in the woods near here.
The only clues she has to her past are her name, the fact that she didn't know anything about Pokemon despite still knowing about plenty of other basic concepts, the strange outfit she was found in, a fixation on mushrooms and mushroom-based Pokemon, and her superhuman strength, jump height, and ability to briefly ignore gravity and glide through the air.
So yeah, it's straight-up just Princess Peach as a Faller. She's also the Gym Leader they came to see as it turns out! She specializes in Grass-Types (because Mushrooms), and her Gym doubles as a popular bakery called Toadstool Treat. Not only does it just generally have really good pastries, it's also the only place where you can buy a new type of consumable Battle Item she invented called Type Cookies. They allow you to change a Pokemon's Type for the rest of the battle, and she subconsciously based their appearances on things from the Mario Series because of course she did.
The kids are conflicted about this situation because on one hand, they know exactly who she is and where she came from, but on the other hand, the version of the Mushroom Kingdom they have access to is very much Not Hers, so they're not sure if telling her about it will help or just make things worse.
Well, they can decide later because it's time for Jet's third Gym Battle! The episode ends on a cliffhanger as Jet sends out Bob-omb (I imagine that Peach was just. So confused about why she knew about This One Pokemon Species but none of the others when she first showed up, or why she keeps expecting them to talk) and Peach sends out Breloom. Tune in next time (whenever that is) for the battle itself!
(and possibly pictures of Peach's Gym Leader outfit (because even if she still has her usual princess outfit it's not exactly practical for baking or Pokemon battles) and the Donandan Foongus Line. If I have the motivation for it)

came up with more stuff for Avatar Ash's universe:
Most of Team Chungus uses Bunnelby and Diggersby because of course they do. Still haven't decided what their major goals are, but their boss ends up deciding that Miku's powerful voice will be important for those plans and tells the two grunts who led the squad that were trying to hold her for ransom earlier to capture her again, no matter how many attempts it takes. Those grunts are a man named Grant Fulner and a woman who insists on being referred to as xxxLasarPissxxx (just Laser for short) and they're basically just Chris and Swag except they have Pokemon and Swag is a girl. The boss doesn't expect them to actually succeed, because they're clearly idiots, so this is actually just a way to keep tabs on Miku and her companions and keep those two away from any actually important operations.
Meanwhile I've also figured out the third member of the twerps: an Octoling named Jet Tentali who's taking on the gym challenge in [insert funny fake region name here] in the hopes to be the first non-human to openly win a Pokemon League. I say "openly" because, due to the existence of Pokemon like Zorua and Ditto, it's extremely unlikely that a non-human has never won a League ever. His starter is a Pyukumuku, and he ends up as the group's cook because Ash is Ash and becoming an Avatar has unfortunately exaggerated anything he was already bad at in canon and Miku is only good at making leek-based dishes.
Also, fakemon will be included, though admittedly most of them are memes, half-baked deviantart-oc-material, blatantly an existing creature from another franchise, or otherwise just there for a visual gag. This is SMG4 after all.
