Just try to hang in there and keep your focus on what you can control. What you can control is your closeness to the Almighty. Keep on praying and stay faithful. He will provide you everything you need and will give you strength when the suffering comes. He will be here to listen to your worries and work on them. He will carry your burden so that you can rest in His Holy Presence. He always sees you and hears your cries, is aware of your suffering. He will make a way for you. He will make it better. He is Faithful and doesn't make promises that He won't fulfill. Read the Word of His that is written in the Bible. He will speak to you, comfort you and let you know that you are never alone. He always cares about you and is the reason why you still can get through the hard times. He never gives you more than you can handle. Moreover, He carries your burden and even when you sin, He is willing to forgive you after you simply apologize and repent. It's hard to repent by yourself but don't worry, you won't be alone in this. You can ask for strength our Savior Jesus Christ and for the guidence of the Precious Holy Spirit. Holy Trinity will help you, you'll see. You just have to have faith as big as a mustard seed — it will be enough. He will make a way for you without any doubts. Just keep on trusting Him and leave everything at His Mighty Hands.

Hi, I wanted to share with you another poem of mine. Writing it reminded me of why I started to write poems with true passion — I just wanted to worship God. Lately, I kept on writing just like it was the thing that I have to do, but today God reminded me that I started to simply show Him my love. I wrote this poem today, on 17th May 2023.

For the sake of love

I put all of my trust in You without any doubts coming to my head

You have never failed me to help me, so I know that it can be laid on You — my faith

You are here and never stop guarding a heart of mine

No matter how many mistakes I make, You are right by my side

No matter how my sins hurt Your Precious heart, You don't even think of forsaking me

Instead of doing such things, You come to my rescue and when my eyes are closed, You help me see

You come to comfort me and show me the way

And which direction is the best to take

With You not a step is too hard to take for Your words always bring me hope

There's not a single moment I forget that my life makes sense and has its worth

For the way You speak to me and let me stick to You proves me that I am loved

Even though I don't see You and have never heard Your voice out loud

I don't think it is needed to make me realize that You're with me all the time

Every single day of mine I can feel Your presence

And know that You listen to what I have to say

If You didn't, I would never be able to know Your answers

But You always respond to me, sometimes right away, sometimes it's hours later

But You answer is never too late for You let me know what I need to know at the very moment you respond

I am really grateful for letting me to be with You and bond with You, Lord

It feels impossible that I can actually talk to You

Even though, in the past I kept on hurting You

You still keep on saying that I am worthy of Your presence

Not because of my good or bad deeds but because how Christ was excellent

Jesus was the One Who came to earth and saved me from the devil

Who wanted to destroy me and steal from me, but my Savior was luckily here

He took the blame of mine and let me escape hell

Even though He knew that He will get hurt, He didn't run away

He could have saved His life but He thought that my life is worthy of getting crucified

He was scared, but chose to do this while thinking of me — giving up His life

He was the Word from the beginning, even before the world was made

He has already won everything: every single battle that has been created

I just keep on wondering, He could have had it all

He's already been King of Kings and Lord of Lords, and yet He chose my love

In such a brutal way, He was mocked and whipped, then He died on the cross

These things and many more — He suffered it all

Why? He did all of it for the sake of love

That's right. When we make decisions with God, we can be sure that it will be alright. Even if we don't get the results we wanted, we know that we made this decision with God Almighty so no matter how it turned out to be, He will make a way.

In Him, we can find rest. With Him, we can go everywhere, even to the most dangerous places and make it alive. In His presence, we forget what fear is. In His Arms, we don't even remember about our worries, for we are surrounded with such wonderful love that cannot be measured. In His Sovereign and Mighty Hand, we begin to realize that we don't need to think about anything that is troubling us — we can trust in Him. We can always trust in the One Whose Mercy, Peace, Justice and Faithfulness are present every single day and will never end. We can always trust in the One Who truly loves, helps us and wants us to be happy now and after we die.

And we can be sure that He truly loves us. For He sent us His Only Begotten Son. He taught us how our faith should be, He taught us how to talk to His Heveanly Father, died for us in such a brutal way, a one that was full of pain. He died for our sins and asked His Father to forgive us for He wanted us to be in Hevean with Him even though we sinned. He really loved us that much. Now, that you realize that you can fully trust God Almighty with everything in your life, leave everything at His Mighty Hands and surrender to Him. Surrender to His will and obey His words for He knows what is the best, the most important for us. He doesn't want to harm us but He desires to lead us to the Kingdom of His through the Only Way — His Lovely Son Jesus Christ with the help of the Precious Holy Spirit Who guides us and reminds us of the Word of God. Share the Gospel, worship our Lord of Lords, say a few simple words everyday such as ”Lord, I surrender”, ”God, use me to bring You Glory that You deserve”, ”God, transform me”, ”Almighty, change me” and see how your life changes.

He will part the waters for you.

“Then Moses stretched out his hand over the sea; and the LORD caused the sea to go back by a strong east wind all that night, and made the sea into dry land, and the waters were divided” Exodus 14:27, NKJV.

“Thus says the Lord, who makes a way in the sea and a path through the mighty waters” Isaiah 43:16, NKJV.

In certain junctures in our lives, we all have needed God to move in a mighty way. When you don’t see a way, He will part the waters for you. The children of Israel arrived at a point where if God didn’t move, they would be captured and probably killed by pharaoh and his army. If God didn’t move and do it, it wouldn’t get done.

But God…

He stepped in and parted the waters for them. Stay strong because He is stepping in just when you need Him to and parting the waters for you. No matter how turbulent and raging this moment in your life may be, your God is coming and will demonstrate His goodness toward you.

That’s your God. His abundant goodness will not be denied. His wonderful goodness will not be stopped. It is following you for the purpose of parting all the waters you need so that you can get to your Promised Land, so you can receive what the Father desires for your life.

Prayer: Father, I thank You this morning. You are parting the waters for me. When I can’t see how I will make it, You will part the waters for me and give me an expected end. You are my Rock and Waymaker. You are supremely good, and I give You all the praise. In Jesus’ name, Amen!

for a while, this church i drive past to go to class had a sign that said "jesus is the waymaker" and i always misread it as "jesus is the haymaker" and i would just imagine wwe jesus performing the haymaker on someone

there’s this church sign i pass every day that says “hurt people hurt people” and i know it’s supposed to mean like “people who are hurt, hurt people” but it sounds like a command

Mercy Chinwo Blessed and the age of Legendary.

When Billboard Number one gospel Artiste Sinach made history with her single 'Waymaker' on the number one USA Billboard Christian Songwriter for seven weeks, many people didn't realize she entered into the global hall of fame Of gospel music and became legendary. Legends are the great ones that the world will never forget because of the achievements and impact they have passed to posterity. Another gospel music Minister has entered into the same hall of fame of gospel global stars, her name: MERCY CHINWO BLESSED. She has achieved almost everything that confers the title of legendary on a person in over one decade of her music ministry, and can now be studied in institutions as a successful musician. 

Born in Rivers State, Nigeria, as Mercy Nnenda Chinwo, she won the second edition of the Nigerian Idol in 2012. According to the Guardian Newspaper's (online) article published on 8th of July 2021 titled: HOW NIGERIAN GOSPEL ARTISTE MERCY CHINWO BECAME A HOUSEHOLD NAME, the article expressed that "it was her winning the Nigerian Idol Season 2 in 2012 that paved the way for her musical career subsequently". Mercy is a Musician, Songwriter, Worshipper, Entrepreneur, Philanthropist and Actress.

She released her debut single 'Testimony' in 2015, a single that made a way for the global brand-name we now hear. After she signed to Eezee Concept now Eezee Global, she released her sixteen-track debut album titled 'The Cross: My Gaze' in 2018. Then, in 2020 she released her sophomore album 'Satisfied', under the same label.

One of the biggest defining moments in her career came when she released the globally accepted single 'Excess Love'. The single went so viral that even right now on YouTube alone it has over one hundred million views. In 2019, 'Excess Love' was remixed with American multiple award-winning Gospel Artiste JJ Hairston, and this project presented Mercy Chinwo as one of the biggest forces to reckon with in the global gospel music industry, and set her for the gospel music hall of fame!

She is known for hit songs and there is no song she was featured in that didn't go viral, and, that's why she has been featured by some of the best gospel music ministers the world has ever known, from Nathaniel Bassey, Dunsin Oyekan, Joe Praize, Moses Bliss, Chioma Jesus to Samsong and more. 

In another article published by the same Guardian Newspaper (online), the Writer listed five tracks that made Mercy Chinwo the queen of gospel music. The first is 'Na You Dey Reign' followed by 'Onememma' featuring Chioma Jesus, 'Chinedum', 'Tasted Your Power' and 'Strong Tower'. It must be mentioned though, that in our opinion it was 'Excess Love' and the remix version with JJ Hairston that remains some of her biggest singles.

For her hardwork and genius Mercy Chinwo has received both local and international awards that have made her works very recognized. Among some of the awards are:

Female Artiste of the year, (AGAFEST), 2019.

On 13th of August, 2022, she got married to the love of her life Pastor Blessed Uzochikwa of the Water Brooks Church, Lekki, Lagos. In attendance at the wedding was Business Mogul Obi Cubana, Entertainment Mogul Banky W, Adesua Utomi, Waje, Joe Praize, Chigurl, Pita and more. The couple now runs their foundation the MercyIsBlessed Foundation that cares for the less privileged and youth development. Pastor Blessed has done a great work in keeping the Artiste's brand-name intact, he has helped her produce two great projects since their marriage the 'ELEVATED EP' and recently 'Overwhelming Victory'. 

These albums have great tracks that still makes Mercy Chinwo too relevant in 2024! The projects were released by their label GNTNATION Universal Music, after a successful career at Eezee Global. 

Her musical influences Dr. Chris Morgan and Chioma Jesus have invested so much in the Artiste which have also guided her to the place she is now renowned for her greatness. She is an inspiration to the coming generation of gospel music ministers, especially the female gender. 

Mercy is also the CEO of MECEMPIRE a fashion brand specializing in creating unique berets and other merchandise. She is an Alumna of the International Business Management Institute (IBMI) where she bagged a degree in Human Resources Management. She once quoted: "the entertainment industry is basically about people trying to sell their market in different ways."

Her music is uniquely blessed with different genres, from afro-gospel, worship, highlife to praise, which attests to the aforementioned quote. Her songs flourish in the music market with ease, and even touches all demographics. Mercy has achieved almost everything achievable in the music industry. 

With a career spanning over a decade, she came into the music industry fully made. Her speed to greatness is only one that God gives. Mercy has created works that will last into posterity, and, with the impact she is still making with her darling husband, she is quickly entering into legendary, and has even become a course to be studied in institutions because of her global impact which the hourglass will never erase!
