author’s note: this is my first time writing ff so please bare with me and PLEASE give me feedback! i’m currently obsessed with kk harvey so expect more of these. also, give me ideas!!

disclaimer: i saw one like this about paige bueckers but i cannot remember the name of the author. i was planning on writing this before i discovered her fic so please don’t think that i copied them in ANY way!!

this happens once every few lifetimes.

you and kk have been dating for about 7 months.

you were freshly out of a toxic relationship when you met. obviously you weren’t ready for any kind of commitment at the time, as you were too scared you’d be caught in toxicity once again.

you originally found her on tiktok and immediately started following her and keeping up with her. she took the step and reached out to you. and the rest is history.

the hospital was a drag, worst sleep that i ever had. i circled you on a map. i haven’t come around in so long, but i’m coming back so strong.

that was over two years ago. now you’re sitting in the bleachers of the ice rink about to watch your girlfriend and her team play in the national championship.

you’re sat with your best friend as you watch the players skate around the rink. you’re wearing the badgers hockey hoodie kk had given you when you moved to california for school.

you originally told kk you wouldn’t be able to make it. you had a final coming up that would make or break if you passed the class or not. obviously she was upset, this was the biggest game of her career and her girlfriend wouldn’t be there to witness it. not to mention you also live across the country studying political science at ucla. so she rarely gets to see you anyways.

“are you sure you can’t make it up somehow?” her tone desperate as she tries to find a solution.

“i wish there was a way baby. i tried so hard but there’s no way i can make it.” you say, fighting back tears. you hated missing something so important to her.

“i’ll play extra hard for you love,” she says after a pause, “i’m bringing that trophy home for you.”

you smile as a tear falls down your cheek.

“i’m so proud of how far you’ve come caroline. i know you’ll make me and your team proud.” you hear a sniffle through the phone. good to know this was equally hard for both of you.

what she didn’t know was that your professor had canceled the final. the reason being he “forgot to make it.” when you found out you immediately booked a flight to madison for the game.

you decided not to tell kk and to keep it a surprise. knowing it would either cheer her up if they lost or make the win just that much better.

the buzzer loudly sounds, indicating that opening remarks are about to begin.

she hasn’t spotted you yet. her being too focused on the game and you hidden in the chaos of the stands.

the national anthem ends and you notice her kiss her hand and touch the heart pin on the front of her jersey. you had bought it for her a couple of months ago and she promised to wear it to every game.

cause the sign on your heart said it’s still reserved for me.

the periods go by painfully slow as both teams ruthlessly try to be the first to score. it’s nearing the end of the game and you’re starting to get nervous if they’re gonna pull through. you see kk getting frustrated at her failed attempts to score.

you know she is trying her best as you watch her play the hardest she ever has. living up to the promise she made you on that phone call.

the clock is ticking and kk is put in to what might be her last play of the season.

“holy shit i can’t watch.” you cover your eyes just to uncover them immediately after. you’re standing up, anxious as ever.

“y/n, it’s fine they got this. you know they do.” your friend says from beside you as she grabs your hand. you squeeze it as you watch kk skate towards the goal with the puck.

“come on caroline.” you say to yourself, watching her intently.

you hold your breath as she shoots it into the net, making it past the goalie.

you immediately jump up and yell as you watch kk’s teammates rush over to her in a fit of cheers and chants. they lift her up and the crowd erupts. you grab your friend in a hug and tears fill your eyes. you can see the smile on kk’s face from the bleachers.

your friends lift you up over their heads. cheers chanted, cause they said there was no chance, trying to be the greatest in the league.

the award ceremony is quick as they hand out trophies and mvp award. kk obviously winning it.

by that time you made your way down by the glass of the rink. the crowd erupts again as the badgers lift up the national championship trophy towards the stands.

kk spots you and the smile on her face somehow grows bigger than it already was.

she skates towards the door in front of you and swings it open as she takes you in her arms. she hugs you as if she was never letting go.

“how the hell did you get here? what about your final?”

“don’t worry about it baby it all worked out.” you hug her back like she was oxygen. she lets out a breathless laugh as she squeezes your waist.

“thank you so much for coming and flying across the country. thank you for everything.” she says as her voice cracks.

“i’m so proud of you caroline. i hope you know that” her arms tighten around you. she needed to hear that.

you let go and look around, a confused look on your face.

“where’s the trophy?” you look back at her. her eyes never leaving you.

“i got the only prize i need right here.”

It had absolutely been a dream of yours to wear his jersey, ever since you two had started dating, so one time before a match you snatched it from his closet, and showed up at the game wearing it.

As he scored his first point, his eyes instinctively scanned the crowd, looking for your face. As he finally detected you, he was surprised to see what you were wearing, but ultimately smiled brightly, giving you a meaningful and eloquent look.

You gave him an innocent one, casually tying it in a knot, revealing your abdomen to him. His smile quickly turned into a grin, and you gave him a naughty smile.

Maybe it was just your impression, but during the rest of the game you noticed he was ever so slightly faster, more powerful and precise

Who would've thought wearing his jersey would've riled him up so much?

After the match, you two went home, but not before Tooru having to deal with a very feisty army of girls that were desperate for his attention.

Some of them did have his jersey as well, but it couldn't even compare to yours: it had Tooru's smell on it.

«So..someone wanted to show off today, huh?» he started, hooking a finger under the knot you had made, pulling you closer to him.

You looked at him through your lashes, faking an innocent attitude.

«I have no idea what you're talking about..I just liked this random t-shirt..» you faked even more, playing dumb.

He smirked, leaning into your charade.

«Oh, so if it's just a random t-shirt, then you wouldn't mind taking it off, right..?»

You panicked a bit, not wanting to take it off.

«To be honest, I'd like to keep it, thank you very much.»

You decided to wear his volleyball jersey to bed. It was just a random choice really, but when he came home later that night, you were met with his arched brows.

«Why don't you find out for yourself, Tsukki?» you taunted him, lightly stretching, making the hem of the skirt slide up, almost revealing your intimate parts.

As he came home from work, he found you casually working from home in his high school jersey and jeans, making your silhouette look phenomenal.

«Do my eyes deceive me, or are you wearing my high school jersey?» he asked, not sure whether to be confused or flattered, but then the latter option won.

He set the briefcase on the table, coming to you to hug you from behind.

First four seasons are solid. Lost Season kinda slips, I didn't care about the new characters and the arc/Demon Shredder was kinda eehhh. FF isn't as good either, but I understand they were told to tone down the darkness and add more jokes so I think the writers did the best they could. They're cowards for getting rid of Leo's shell scar. It had some fun episodes even if the stories wasn't as dark. BttS sucked. I hate the new designs. They should have done FF Part 2 instead and ended it when they came back from the future rather than ride on the last TMNT movie (at the time).

I liked Turtles Forever. Hun+80's Raph was hilarious.

I have a general idea what a few of the best episodes are, but I want to see what the general opinion is for the worst or oddest episodes.

Does the fan base consider arcs as a whole episode, or would a stand out episode of said arc fit better. What about the latter season compared to the first four? How do most people think of Turtles Forever, good, bad, could have been better?

Venting time- GOT8 Ep5

Every time I watch the after the episode stuff with D&D I realize why I can’t stand them or their approach to the show. They are driven by shock value rather than character development. They talk about how they wanted the scenes to look and what not, which yes is cool to see and important but it shouldn’t drive the show. If you treat the characters poorly and unauthentic it all feels hollow. And that’s exactly how it feels after tonight’s episode.

I had a feeling they were slowly turning Dany into the Mad Queen but it still seems extreme. Like she just gave a speech to Tyrion about mercy and then just loses it? I was actually sick to my stomach at one point with the attacks on the innocents but I guess that was what they wanted. I just hate how they cannot for the life of them write women. This is why we need more women creators. Women fanfic writers blow their shit out of the water.

Of course I’m ridiculously upset that they killed Sandor. Making Sandor such a one note, revenge seeking character is so disappointing. I’d like to believe that although his hatred for his brother ran deep, that when he realized that his brother was not really there any more he’d change course. Dying while killing your tormentor is a lose-lose. The zombie mountain still wins AND they killed him with fire. Ugh

Sandor’s character goes far beyond what D&D gave to him. As goes with almost all the characters of the show. I’m glad there was some recognition of his care for Arya. One the D’s mentioned that Sandor loved Arya as much as he possibly could love someone. As a Sansan shipper I digress, he loves another. He may care for her sister but Sandor is capable of real actual love, not just big brother/protector love.

although this tone of voice didn’t seem too nasty; given the context - accompanied by the sour look on his face - the question seemed to have threatening undertones

tsukishima had just finished practise, he walked out the gym to notice that you were talking to some guy next to the vending machine

he literally almost had a heart-attack bc he thought it was kageyama 

but no

IT WAS WORSE

tsukishima never really got jealous when you talked to other guys bc he knew they really had nothing in comparison to him lol

i mean, tsukishima knew he was a catch: he’s lanky, bitchy, tall, rude, emotionally-distant, tall, untrusting, tall, insecure, surly, a horrible cook- did i mention he’s tall?

ok so maybe he wasn’t as much of a catch as he originally thought but the fact he is tall is really the thing that’s holding together his façade of arrogance

so imagine his shock when he sees you happily chatting away to a guy that’s 6″4 !!!!!!

for clarification, tsukishima is 6″2

honestly, tsukki tried his best to hide it but he was genuinely quite nervous not only bc he actually had to look up slightly to hold eye contact with the guy - which is something he’s obviously not used to - but also due to the fact he simply could not come up with a good insult for this guy; even though he was usually quite good at spotting people’s insecurities ‘:(

hence, all he could to was produce a deriding chuckle which was aimed towards the guy in hopes that it was make him feel half as insecure as tsukishima was feeling rn

‘what’s so funny?’ you asked, clueless to your boyfriend having an internal breakout while standing right beside you 

tsukishima rolled his eyes, realising that the guy seemed unfazed by his dirty looks so it seemed as thought tsukki would have to crack up the pettiness

‘who’s this chump, (y/n)?’ tsukishima leaned in to semi-whisper in your ear, but loud enough so your brother could still hear 

‘tsukki!’ you gasped at your boyfriend’s choice of words before scolding him further, ‘that’s my brother- he’s a 3rd year!’

tsukishima paled

he bowed to the point where he was basically a right angle ‘m-, uh, my apologies, sir. i ha-, um, i had no idea you were related to (y/n).’

he was sO EMBARASSED AAAAAAAAAAA

your brother reassured him it was fine but tsukki was apologising for another 5 minutes after that 

he promised himself never to get jealous again after that (ಥ _ ಥ) it only leads to trouble 

no matter how tall the guy is either- 

he swore that if he ever saw a 9″ guy talking to you and it upset him, he’d just close his eyes 😑

he probably should’ve promised to stop running his mouth too bc that’d probably result in a lot less trouble but- baby steps, y’all LMAO

i can’t really imagine akaashi as the type to get jealous tbh

and if he does, he deals with it pretty well

like if sees you talking with a guy in a way that bothers him, he’s definitely not confrontational enough to deal with it right there so he’d wait until y’all are alone at home or sumn 

but you had been acting especially distant lately 

so when he spots you hanging with some random guy next to the water fountain, he kinda snaps 

he stalked up to you so he could take your hand in his own, asking if he could borrow just a moment of you time so he could talk to you 

you accept, of course, wondering what this could possibly be about 

he explains how he’s been feeling and you feel quite bad tbh

you weren’t aware that you were detaching yourself from him but you had to blame your schoolwork tbh

once you expressed how schoolwork along with the stress of your job had really been getting you down lately so you asked you brother for assistance, he immediately pulled you into a hug

the last thing he wanted was or it to seem like he was desperate for your attention bc although it was nice, he respected how you had to prioritize other things/people

in fact, he only brought this issue up bc it was beginning to eat him from the inside out - his insecurities telling him that you had lost interest in him and like anyone else, he desired a bit of comfort

you reassured him that you hadn’t ‘lost interest’ in him and you separation as well as you current closeness with you brother was all to do with your workload and hopefully, sometime in the near future, you’ll be able to sit down, relax and just watch a movie with akaashi

that was all fair and lovely but there was still one thing that continued to bother him

‘who’s that guy you were talking to?’ he inquired, gesturing to your brother who was awkwardly standing alone by the fountain

Harry did a little video (in that cute cardigan and hat hair from his outfit the day before yesterday- a whole ass work day all around) saying thank you for his win at the Junos (Canadian Music Awards), where Fine Line got Best International Album, and he liked a post by Dylan Jones (journalist, GQ) congratulating Gary Kemp (Spandau Ballet, uncle to Roman Kemp) on a new album. Gary Kemp’s new single features Queen’s Roger Taylor- and a video by Charlie Lightening, who has made an upcoming documentary with him as well about the making of the album. HUH, just like someone else we know hmm?

A spa in Redditch announced “the world’s first Harry Styles themed spa day”, with a heavy emphasis on watermelons to make it Harry themed. For a mere £72 you get to smell a Harry scented “Breathe Me In” candle with his face on it (only the first 15 people get to keep one though), eat a lunch with no olives or beets (“Harry apparently hates those”) and enjoy some not really all that themed facials and stuff with a non-stop Harry soundtrack throughout. They miss the opportunity to point out that Harry was born in Redditch, but advertise a line of Harry scented products with his face on them coming soon; is that legal? Guess we’ll find out! And Harry’s convicted stalker, Pablo Tarazaga-Orero, was charged with violating the terms of his sentence last year for posting about One Direction, but that charge was dropped yesterday. (blah blah joke about ‘if posting about 1D is a crime’, except this guy actually scared Harry and is mentally ill and the whole thing isn’t funny at all so… no.)

Louis posted simply a picture of the logo on his vintage England jersey (no not the one he was wearing yesterday, a different one), on the face of it just his way of cheering on the national team as the European Championship games gear up to begin but as it turns out also the lead in to a sponcon post, and as Soccer Aid geared up for a big announcement about this year’s lineup, they liked and commented on a tweet about when Louis (and Niall) played in 2016, getting people’s hopes way up; yes please! But whether or not that football fantasy comes to pass, Louis has invited us to play Fantasy Football with him (user Louist28), posting a link and code for his Euro FF league (‘England to Win the Euros’). Go Louis, cultivating the ‘grown men who run outside to see him’ demographic AND getting that coin! Also producer team SuperHi commented on their post about being in the studio with him last week- “Louis was amazing to work with-- a true gent and talent. And his fans are awesome”, I mean tell us something we don’t already know.

When she sees the forecast for the next day, Gita can't help but groan. Blooddrain is miserable at the best of times, and in Boston it’s even worse, because they don’t even have a proper dugout. So it’s with a sigh that she pulls out the uniform she quickly learned to have for days like this, the one that will always be stained red no matter how hard she tries.

When she shows up the next day, it’s just as miserable as she expected, blood pouring down from the sky and quickly soaking it’s way into her shoes and socks and jersey. Everyone looks just as unhappy as her, except for Wanda who has pulled out a Umbrella.

I’m sick of the blood clogging my visor, she signs, one handed, when Gita looks at her with a question in her eyes. Thought I’d at least try it.

“Is it helping?”

She thinks Wanda must be smiling, though you can never really tell. It is. Won’t do much when I have to bat, but for now it’s good.

“Well, I’m glad it’s working, I know how much of a pain it is,” and she does, having helped her wipe down the helmet more games than not, “It’s pretty smart! Wish I had thought of that.”

Wanda pauses for a minute, before actually turning to her. You want to get under here? There’s room for two.

“Oh my god, I would love that. You’re the best.”

Standing under the umbrella like that, she realizes just how less lonely she’s been these past few seasons, and she can’t help but smile.

“I’m really glad you’re here, Wanda.”

And this time, she knows she’s smiling. Me too.
