Thoughts on Fargo 5.5

This was my favorite episode of the season so far.

(Partly because it was set mostly during the day, so I could actually see what was going on.)

"Chapter Five: The Tiger." This season is allll about the act of writing a story. I wanna write up more about that at some point.

I'm assuming Dot injected that nurse with whatever was in that syringe she was holding.

I love how they preface Lorraine's chat with Roy by showing her with those two sexist bankers. She's had enough misogyny for one day, thank you.

Roy's whole "hat in hand, trying to do what's right" BS was so Dodd "Concerned Citizen" Gerhardt.

Jerome needs to kill Roy.

I love the "stirring Bisquick" sound in the score.

That receptionist is just giving it all away. Escaped mental patient. Female. Why don't you just tell them her name while you're at it?

Jason Schwartzman was the perfect choice to do this hilariously self-serious narration.

Poor Wayne! 😢 I didn't realize it was so bad -- I thought he was just loopy from the drugs.

"Hold on, my foot's unconscious."

I feel bad for Jordan Seymore (hospital guy). I hope he ends up being okay, but it's not looking good.

What does it say about the state of entertainment that two female characters are nice to each other on screen and it feels revolutionary?

Indira's kitchen wallpaper features a fox, a rabbit, and a cabbage deer.

Dot saying "they" didn't strike me as odd until Indira pointed it out, and now I'm worried... specifically with regards to a certain reptile man.

She went from Dorothy (Gale) to Alice (in Wonderland). 🐇

This show has made me cry twice. Once was when Rabbi Milligan died. The other was at the end of this episode.

THE MUSIC!!!

I predict we won't see Dot next week. I cannot wait for "Linda."

#far cry 5 #to be honest I had forgotten the second fan kit existed #I was looking for that joseph profile pic and it was there the whole time…#the 2017 fan kit and the reference guide are funny because characters looked a bit different back then #they didn’t say when the game went gold #but fc3 fc4 and fc6 did approximately one month before release #so in june 2017 they still had about 8 months of work #a lot of things can change in 8 months!#and a lot of things did change #mary may’s backstory #nick’s personality #everyone’s appearance (more or less)#the graphics in general #some missions #and more things we don’t even know about probably
