Because my memory is a fickle, inconsistently-riddled beast, and because my CFS means I'm slow in production, this is for my own reference. It's also a declaration that I have Not Forgotten the Things. @cannot-kill-the-sun - I'm making a pressing flowers guide post for you. @thehornedwitch - I'm content-editing your werewolf paper. @theangriestlittleunicorn - I'm making a post about Tu B'Shavat and the seven species for you to hopefully enjoy. @jennink - I'm making an aesthetic post for your cosplay shoot once I get photos and series information. @katofthekitvariety - I WANT to do some desktop design to make your resume visually appealing once you have it written. @crowdux - I WANT to make art of one of your OC's. Oh, and since I collapsed around Chanukah after offering cards, Ruth, Savi, Jill (I STILL can't tag her), Amme, and Simon are still getting cards as I offered - but for a different holiday. Also @dreamadove because I offered you a card like a year ago and I think I forgot until this moment. 😳 And at this rate of arm-nerve-flareup-recovery, @simonalkenmayer is getting his Christmas present in July. Have I forgotten anything? Serious question. I want to be reminded of promises and will never be offended.

A friend of mine who has a conversational level of Japanese told me that it was a madeup word (Aragoto)... I forget if she said it was some version of the word that means "continuation" or what? I'll try and ask again when I see her again.

Sometimes materials react badly to bleach; the embroidery is probably cotton (bleachable) and the tulle is some acrylic/poly/whatever which reacted differently.

Ahm... yes.  That both materials reacted differently and one of them badly is obvious. 

But my question was Why? :’D

As in: This-never-happend-before-while-doing-this-exact-thing-and-I-want-to-know-exactly-why-so-I-can-avoid-this-next-time-Why?

Thanks for the reply! If I need to work with polyester, how do I get it to hold pleats at all? I have a 100% polyester suiting/gabardine that I had bought for school skirts, and I absolutely loved the drape. But when I made a pleated skirt, the pleats wouldn't stay. It's hanging in my closet now alone and sad. I understand the concept of melting the pleats in (thanks to attempts to block acrylic knitted items) but won't that cause other issues i.e. leaving iron-shaped burns on the fabric?

If you keep the iron moving constantly, you won’t leave burn marks -- you should just generally never leave the iron stationary on anything. If you’re particularly worried about scorching, too, you can put a cotton pillowcase or some piece of cotton overtop your fabric to protect the surface.

Also, make sure you’ve got enough steam going. The water will make it extra hot without scorching it.

Yes! CFSWF/Cosmere Fandom Still Worst Fandom is the cosmerechallenge for July. There’s a challenge each month–last month’s was Trans and Nonbinary Inclusive, this month is The Good, The Bad, and The Weird (Habits), ect.

CFSWF started last year as a call for sadfic, awful AUs, painful headcanons, heartbreaking art, dark playlists…basically encouraging everyone to be the fandom monster for a month. (Because, y’know. Mistborn canon wasn’t painful enough.) It was so popular that it’s coming back this July–but was announced three months early for anyone who wanted to prepare.

It’s open to anyone who wants to post something for the challenge, or you can just enjoy other people’s submissions. You can track the tags #cfswf or #cosmere challenge, or follow cosmerechallenge for mod posts and reblogs of all entries.

And, ah, don’t let my evilness intimidate you. Most people don’t aim for a sadfic a day for an entire month… ;)

Hmmm, then if I just watch the re-cut version am I missing anything? Like did they take anything out from the original...

They didn't take anything out. They just added stuff because there is no opening or ending sequence. Someone who is watching the re-cut/new edit version says that you'll be okay (or should be okay, anyway) just watching the regular version, which is good to know. So, just watch whichever one you feel more comfortable watching and such. :)
