okay so i was kind of lazy... and i re-uploaded this from my other account, but eh, it's here now :] here are some bmc headcanons, hope you enjoy!

- the whole squad goes to college together and it's some kinda york shit bc they're all sharing a dorm. chaos ensues.

- rich and jake are boyfriends, and they're trying to be lowkey about it, and literally everyone knows. but it's arson bros so there's no way in hell that they can be subtle.

- christine was brought up by her dad who is literally the nicest person on this planet and he loves all of her friends but he like michael the best, because i mean who doesn't :D.

- brooke is a dog person and christine is a cat person, but they make it work because they're useless lesbians who are very much in love.

- whenever jeremy can't sleep (which is always) he goes downstairs and makes a cup of tea, which doesn't help his insomnia but he doesn't care because it's TEA.

- okay!! to establish ships:

- boyf riends because... how can you not ship em?

- playride (i have no regrets, they're adorable)

- rich says he hates all animals but in reality he loves cats. like he starts crying when he sees kittens or strays, and the only people that know are christine and jake.

- rich wears glasses now that he doesn't have a squip. jake likes to tease him about them, but in fact he thinks they make him look really cute. he will never admit this to anyone.

- rich is honestly pretty smart. he majors in latin and while he complains about it all the time, he's pretty much fluent, which he's honestly pretty proud about.

- rich is an assistant teacher for year 4s (3rd graders) and they call him 'sir'. whenever one of these kids makes a homophobic/transphobic comment (bc they're young kids yknow) he'll sit them down and teach them that it's okay to be lgbtq+.

- for like a year after the events of the play, jeremy tries to earn back michael's trust. eventually he forgives him, but jeremy has to do some serious courting shit to get michael back as his friend.

- jeremy catches feelings for michael first. no debate.

- jenna is a fashion youtuber/vlogger kinda like bestdressed. chloe joins her and they're literally best friends.

- chloe doesn't specifically have a redemption arc, but she does learn over time to treat people at least a little bit better.

Personal BMC career headcanons

Aka what these kids do after high school

Jeremy- Voice actor. You cannot tell me that boy wasn’t excited to sign up at first- but also that he’s not a nervous wreck. What’s a job that includes acting and lets you have multiple do overs if you fuck up, and may include some work in the video game industry if you’re lucky?

Michael- Youtuber/twitch streamer. Is this cursed? Yes. Do I care? No. A lot of people hc him as ending up as a video game programmer, but this boy wants to PLAY not CODE. This boy is a GAMER. He also works at like an arcade or smth to pay bills on the side until he’s popular enough to be financially dependent on his streaming career.

Rich- Teacher. I like Rich as a teacher okay. I think he’d know how much being a kid sucks especially if you’re in a shitty situation and I think he’d really understand kids who are going through stuff like that. I just.... Rich and kids are good okay shush.

Jake- Probably in college football for a while then runs an adoption clinic thing. Once he had the character development to realize that life isn’t measured in how people view you for what you do, and is actually measured in how the world is positively effected by what you do, the switch would be a no brainer. He likes dogs.

Chloe- sells candles with Brooke in the Pacific Northwest. See Katlyn carlson’s insta. Alternatively, I could see her as a personal stylist (she’s expensive, but she’s damn good).

jeremy

- after the events of the show, jeremy tries to spend more time with his dad and goes much easier on him. jeremy’s more willing to go on little excursions to the movies or to wherever his dad wants to take him that weekend.

- a while later, jeremy’s dad wants to do something for his son (and for himself, though he’ll tell you it was all to make jeremy happy), so he adopts a border collie puppy. he sort of acts like a therapy dog for the both of them. jeremy decided to name him ben after the lead singer of jukebox the ghost.

christine

- christine has a single mom! she tries to do her best to make her daughter happy and she goes to all her performances. her baby girl’s a star, she’ll tell you! they have a good relationship, but christine does feel a little alone while her mother is out trying to support the two of them. so her mom had an idea...

- christine has a pet bird! a peach-faced lovebird, to be exact. she named him fiyero. he loves to climb up on her shoulders and is constantly tossing little things off of tables. (just watch all of jaidenanimations’ videos with ari. that’s christine and fiyero.)

michael

- i’m SO happy that michael’s moms are canon now but i’m gonna apply some of my own hcs to this list. i think he has a filipino mom and an ecuadorian mom (not much of a surprise). he calls his filipino mother nanay since she grew up in a traditional family that mainly spoke tagalog.

- uhhh michael has a little sister and none of yall can change my mind. unlike michael, she was adopted. her name is amelia, but everyone calls her millie.

- michael has a little ferret that’s constantly climbing onto his shoulders. he named her yamaha! she’s white and has little grey speckles around her face. he constantly calls her long boy and it annoys millie because “shE’s a giRL, you idiot!”

rich

- he has a mom and a dad, but his mom is very much a provider for the family. she’s constantly at work and isn’t very much in rich’s life.

- rich’s older brother (mentioned in halloween) is in college and has really been rich’s best friend for all his life. they’ve grown up in the same shitty environment and have always been there to support each other.

brooke

- brooke has a pretty standard family. just a mom and dad that are pretty supportive of her. she’s closer to her dad and she always has been.

- she’s a total cat person! she grew up with a cat that her mom bought when brooke was little named olive. later on, she convinced her parents to get two more cats- a grey kitten with one eye named jupiter and a fat tabby cat named beverly.

chloe

- she has a relatively big family, and she isn’t too close to any of them. her mom is clingy, her dad is borderline distant, and she doesn’t really know how to relate to either of them.

- she has two older sisters, victoria and elissa. they’re both college-age and chloe is constantly being compared to them as they all went to middleborough and are known as “the most popular/hottest girls in school”.

jake

- we know that his parents aren’t exactly there for him and are concerned with money laundering and shit. but with the additions in bmcnyc, apparently jake used to go to sbarro’s with his parents all the time! i think they used to really care for their son when he was younger, but something got in the way later on.

- with that, i think that they got him a dog when he was about to go into middle school. i imagine jake watching airbud for the first time and saying to his parents, “that’s the one.” so yeah, he has an energetic little golden retriever.

- though his parents aren’t as present, i think there’s someone in his family that he sees as a third parent. maybe an aunt that hates seeing how their sibling is treating their kid.

jenna

- like jeremy, jenna has a single dad. but i think they were always super close to each other. (again, these are just my hc’s so...) when jenna came out as a lesbian to her dad, he was super supportive of her and is always asking her what girls she thinks are cute. it annoys her sometimes, but she’s glad she has his support.

- her mom, when she was around, had a massive fish tank put into the house and jenna was always a fan. she made a list of every fish in the tank and loved every single one. her dad decided to keep it around and always gets new fish bc of their short life spans. jenna still keeps a list of all of them.
