Can we talk about this weeks episode of Agatha All Along? (Ep 8)
Lilia nooooo come back! 😭😭😭 But I’ve seen no one mention how she’s “Glinda the GOOD Witch” , y’all… She was the best among them!!!
Put some respect on her name!!! Jen was the hag from Snow White, Agatha the wicked witch of the west, Billy was Maleficent, and yes each can be interpreted as gray morally speaking but the traditional interpretation is they are “bad” but then there was Lilia the good 😭😭😭

Just re-watched 1x07 and have a few more things to say:
Agatha was such a chaotic lesbian in this ep and i LOVE IT.
Patti Deserves all the awards.
AGATHA Takes the death card from Lilia and then places it.... I'm a little worried about that.
THEORY: Jen quotes "sister in the craft" last ep and then we hear Lilia say this ep, and with the whole flow of time is an illusion. Is JEN going to go back to previous trials? maybe save the others and bring them together so they can be a real coven and that's how she becomes High Prentiss? that would be interesting.
I defiantly think Agatha has been on the road before, he reaction when Billy says she hadn't and then when the tarror says she is being honest, seals it for me.
This is probably my second favorite ep, 1x04 is still my fav, but i really really enjoyed this, even on a second-rewatch.

Agatha all along idea
Small idea: as we've seen in the episode six Billy met all the coven members before even knowing. what if fate or some fru-fru magic thing bound them as a team/coven, if so i cannot imagine what would happen but the idea of Agatha and Rio going to the grocery store (like lesbians do because Agathrio is real idc) and just running into Billy and his boyfriend for what seems to be the the 5th time in a week Jen:*getting groceries* Agatha and Rio: Again?! Lilia: *walks past them* Lilia: What is this the ninth time Billy (Way too happy): Hey everyone!!! This proceeds to go on for the rest of their lives as they are a coven and they are bound whether they like it or not know this will never happen but the idea/au is just too cute to not share

AGATHA ALL ALONG SPOILERS
“I hated this the first time!” (Lilia)
This proves to me that Lilia at least will make it to the end or at least the next episode, and if she’s alive, then Agatha and Jen have to be too. Alice is a special case because she seems to be OUT, BUT, AND STICK WITH ME HERE, Rio is going to heal her in order to make it to the end. A protective witch seems very important, even if they’ve already passed her trial. Overall my hope is that Billy isn’t the villain bc I love him already

It’s actually starting to piss me off how the fandom has been treating teen. Like I get it he threw the witches into a swamp but he also has a valid reason to do it. Like he lost the only person that actually treated him like a person both Agatha and Jenifer were treating like a pet, lilla didn’t really do anything wrong but not the point. Alice was the only one to treat him like a person.
Also I wanna add onto that point that he watched Agatha kill Alice! Like accident or not that would still be traumatic and not to mention everyone just kinda brushed it off. Like you can do a bad thing by accident but that doesn’t mean it’s a good thing now. It is still a bad thing. Also Agatha’s reaction to that and everyone else’s after didn’t help.
I thought we were all watching this show because they are flawed! Like isn’t that the whole point of it. That none of them (maybe excluding Alice but she even still has issues) are good people. Like just because they have a traumatic past doesn’t excuse there actions it just explains them. Like I find them hot to and will defend them from anyone it’s just I can acknowledge they aren’t good people. Agatha killed witches there’s reasons she’s known as a witch murderer no one likes.
Which brings me to my next point is that Agatha whole character is that she’s not a good guy she has a reputation some things may be fake or exaggerated but she has it for a reason! People seem to forget that she had the darkhold for 300 or so years. And it’s okay she’s a complicated character who’s been through a lot and acts out because if you can never think I’m good, I’ll just become the monster. Trauma doesn’t excuse actions it explains and better tells us why someone did this thing.
Now back to my original point teen is not this evil master mind (who knows) but he’s been trying to keep everyone together and he snapped for good reason (I love everyone but they were not exactly in the right). While I don’t think he’s telling the whole truth I don’t think he’s exactly manipulating everyone.
Sorry this got long and turned into a rant. I do love all them and I love them because of there complexity. Last time I will say this but it feels like people are quick to excuse people’s actions just because there looks and trauma. We seen in the show it’s not just black and white and things can be true and untrue at the same time :)

i really just am a copy cat by nature, so after i saw @jubshead and @slut4alicewu make a rank of their fave AAA characters, i cannot help but to do one too! so here it is:
1. Lilia "my wife”Calderu: the bearer of my children and the fortress for my heart, she not only is a divination witch to me but a divine being in herself.not only would I die and kill for her but would sabotage the whole of marvel offices just to have a 12-episode series recounting her life story.
2. Agatha Harkness: of course, she's going to be up on the rank, how could she not if the whole of the series is based around her? I'm not going to say she is my wife, but more or so like a fling situation, I'm also pretty sure that Rio would kill anyone who got close to her wife anyway.
3. Alice Wu: she would usually not place as high, not that I do not adore her ( I absolutely do! She's a total sweetheart) but due to her death and my grievance for her, she will go here, I do not care what anyone says. I also think it was spot-on for them to give the Asian one the family trauma, love it! (Also, THE ABSOLUTE ABS ON THIS WOMAN??? I WAS FOUND DEAD ON THE SPOT)
4. Rio Vidal: my Latina lady rahhhhhhhh, I'm so happy to have some kind of representation. I think of her too much to be nearly healthy and would not mind to be somewhere on the end of that knife. But I think it would be so incredible if they had somehow made her wear a “día de los muertos” face paint, cause yk, she's the literal personification of death.
5. Teen/Billy: I like him enough, I'm still not completely sure what I think of him, but I do understand that he’s still a kid who only wants his brother again, I think the people judging and hating on him for having a whole episode for himself don't get what the series is supposed to be about. Don't get me wrong, I also really want my lesbians to make out in 4K, but I'm not going to be hating on the kid for having character development goddammit!
6. Jenifer Kale: they did my lady Jen wrong on this series! Even though she is an absolute bitch, there's something endearing about her! I wish they would let her character have a bigger redemption arc tho, but I do understand the choices they made for her character well enough. She's snarky and witty and everything I hope to be when I'm a (almost) entirely natural witch.

The hits just keep on coming with the Harris campaign. It’s almost hard to keep up with the good news.
With that, here we go:
Barack and Michelle Obama issued the following statement this morning:
“Earlier this week, we got a chance to catch up with a friend who we’ve known for more than 20 years. She’d had a pretty busy couple of days, to say the least. But we couldn’t be more excited for her -- or more thrilled to endorse Kamala Harris as the Democratic nominee for President of the United States.
“We agree with President Biden -- choosing Kamala was one of the best decisions he’s made. She has the resume to prove it: As a prosecutor, she defended the Constitution and fought for folks who deserve a fair shake. As California’s Attorney General, she worked hard to ensure everyone was treated fairly, no matter who they are or who they love. As a Senator, she was one of the strongest voices holding the Trump administration accountable. And, as Vice President, she helped lead the charge on expanding the Affordable Care Act, combating climate change, fighting for reproductive freedom, equality, and the rule of law.
“But Kamala has more than a resume. She has the vision, the character, and the strength that this critical moment demands. There is no doubt in our mind that Kamala Harris has exactly what it takes to win this election and deliver for the American people. At a time when the stakes have never been higher, she gives us all reason to hope.
“We know over the next few months, Kamala will continue to make her case directly to the American people -- Democrats, Republicans, and independents alike. As she does, she will have our full support -- and we look forward to watching her unite our party and our country around a vision for a brighter, fairer, more prosperous future.
“We’re going to do everything we can to elect Kamala Harris the next President of the United States. And we hope you’ll join us.”
Harris campaign “Breaks Zoom”:
From the HollywoodReporter - Hundreds of thousands of Kamala Harris supporters have rallied behind the presumptive Democratic nominee this week, with Zoom calls breaking records with six-digit attendance numbers.
The events started Sunday following President Joe Biden’s announcement he would not seek re-election. More than 44,000 Black women joined a call to galvanize supporters for the vice president’s historic run for president, drawing celebrity names — including Yvette Nicole Brown and Jenifer Lewis — and raising an estimated $1.5 million.
The trend continued with thousands of Black men on a call earlier this week (they raised $1.3 million), followed by Zooms for white women, LGBTQ supporters, South Asian supporters and more.
At the white women call Thursday night, there were more than 100,000 participants (officially now 150,000), a number so staggering it caused significant technical glitches that sent many to watch the livestream on YouTube, where more than 25,000 also joined the call. ($10 million was raised)
Hollywood was represented across the interest groups. Mindy Kaling joined the South Asian call, with George Takei, Zachary Quinto, Raven Simone, Sophia Bush, Ashlyn Harris, Brian Michael Smith and Justin Tranter attending the LGBTQ call. (Tranter, the co-writer of Chappell Roan’s “Good Luck Babe,” announced he would donate $20,000 to the cause.)
Katie McGrath, Connie Britton, Pink and more signed on to the white women’s call, with Pink reportedly joining right after leaving the stage of a performance in Sweden.
Another Zoom call, women for Harris, is scheduled for this weekend.
Grace outperforms ignorance:
JoeBiden’s farewell address drew 29 million viewers - nearly triple the number that watch Mushroom Donnie’s acceptsance speech.
Harris points to a different direction regarding Israel and Gaza:
After meetiongwith Netanyahu, Kamal Harris said the following:
"I have met with the families of these American hostages multiple times now, and I've told them each time they are not alone, and I stand with them. And President Biden and I are working every day to bring them home.
"With over 2 million people facing high levels of food insecurity, and half a million people facing catastrophic levels of acute food insecurity. What has happened in Gaza over the past nine months is devastating; the images of dead children and desperate, hungry people fleeing for safety, sometimes displaced for the second, third or fourth time.
"Let us all condemn terrorism and violence. Let us all do what we can to prevent the suffering of innocent civilians. And let us condemn antisemitism, Islamophobia and hate of any kind. And let us work to unite our country."
President Biden has made Val Demmings a Governor of the Postal Service. Can we now finally fire Louis De(no)Joy and restore thePost Office?
We knew Trump was rattled by Kamala’s arrival in the campaign, but we didn’t think he would actually wimp out of the debate. But that’s exactly what the orange chickenshit did yesterday. Making up some silly bullcrap about “Barack Hussein Obama” and flailing like the hopeless loser that he is, Trump has officially backed out of the scheduled debate in September. Vice President Harris is already calling him out and making sure the media knows she is ready to go.
All seven battleground states - AZ, GA, MI, NC, NV, PA, WI - are clearly competitive now and in play. New battleground state polls this week also showed Harris gaining and in a competitive position in all seven states. Polls of Maine and New Hampshire found Harris at Biden 2020 numbers, an election Biden won by 4.5 pts. Simon Rosenberg: “To be honest the movement we are seeing towards Harris this week has been a bit surprising to me. It usually takes a while for big events to work their way through the electorate. So that we are seeing meaningful movement this early is a good sign.”
I’ll end for now with across-post from Kareem Abdul Jabar. I think this has significance for all of us here:
Life is a long lesson in humility.
—James M. Barrie, author of Peter Pan
“Barrie should have added, “If we’re lucky.” By that I mean we’re lucky if our lives last long enough for it to be a “long lesson.” But I also mean we’re lucky to have constant reminders on how to be humble because that makes us empathetic to others and lays a foundation for being able to love and be worthy of being loved. In other words, humility breeds happiness.
“Arrogance is the enemy of humility. That need to feel like we matter beyond the confines of our little world means we can only feel important when validated by others—not by ourselves. Unfortunately, the need for that validation often leads to unhappiness. For many, the only way to feel significant is to chase after some sort of fame or popularity. This can be done through gathering “likes” on social media or by accumulating wealth to flaunt. The idea is that if others are envious, the person has proven they are more significant than those who envy them. This is the math of madness.
“For a happy few, fame is merely a by-product of pursuing personal greatness—not to flaunt but just out of curiosity about how far they can go. This is true of the athlete and the artist, the inventor and the innovator. Their joy comes from their reach exceeding their grasp. It comes from the trying more than the succeeding. This path is littered with failure and humility, which only makes them strive harder. The joy is in the striving, not in the accolades of others. Or as Janis Joplin said, “On stage, I make love to 25,000 different people, then I go home alone.”
For me, being a speck of dust is not an existential burden but a profound relief. It is the great equalizer that reminds us we all face the same challenges of wanting to feel useful, needed, and worthy. Humility teaches us that those challenges are overcome through compassion, kindness, and love for others rather than seeking power over others.
“There is nothing that teaches humility more than aging. The increasing frailties of the body remind me daily just how insignificant so much of what I once thought was important really is. I also am acutely aware of how many opinions I had in my youth and even later that embarrass me today. That humility taught me to form my opinions carefully using facts, experts, and research rather than my biased gut or peer pressure.
“The closing door of life just inspires me to make a positive difference in others’ lives while that door is still open, even if just a crack and I can see light. Humility lights the way.”
You can’t go wrong taking advice from Kareem.
Robert Hubbell has been ending his daily posts with astronomical photos he’s taken. To me, they’re humbling to think a small being on a small planet orbiting a small sun at the edge of a small galaxy can look out at creation and comprehend it. So of course the following is a perfect ending. (Thanks Kareem)

Lilia: Who massacred the Tarot spread? I'm not mad. I just want to know. Agatha: Don't look at me. Look at Teen. Teen: What? I didn't break it. Agatha: That's weird. How'd you even know it was messed up? Teen: Because swords nearly impaled us. Agatha: Suspicious. Teen: No, it's not! Jen: If it matters, probably not, but Agatha was the last one holding the cards. Agatha: Liar! I don't even believe in that Tarot crap! Jen: Oh, really? Then what were you doing by the table earlier? Agatha: I was trying to stop Teen from messing up the cards! Teen: REALLY? Agatha: Yeah! Really. Jen: For Goddess's sake! *Coven starts arguing* Lilia: I broke it. My leg bumped into the table, and the cards fell. I predict they'll be at each other's throats ten minutes from now with war paint on their faces and a pig head on a stick. *looks back at the Coven that continues to argue* Lilia: Good. It was getting a little chummy around here.

I just finished watching 1x05 for the second time and i noticed a couple more things... and i have theory
Spoilers under the cut again.
They made a big deal about Billy not having his spell book, i think that may play a bigger part, like maybe it was the book keeping his powers in check?? I'm not sure it just seemed like a big thing because i checked and Agatha still had her amulet and Rio had her knife (though was i imagining it or did she turn it into a hairbrush at one point) So it's interesting that Bill did not have his book.
Agatha was scared upstairs when her mother was talking to the others UNTIL her mother turned her attention to Rio, she was moving towards Rio when Agatha made her way downstairs, and drew her mothers attention to her, that could be significant.
Also, Rio was enjoying all the trial UNTIL Agatha went missing, then became fierce, protective Rio is still my favorite.
How old did Nicholas sound? i feel like he was about 5, but i could be wrong.
"I hated this the first time"- Lila, that leads to my theory, i think they are going to have to repeat Agatha's trial, not sure how, but i think it will end with Alice being alive, the way Agatha spoke to Billy at the end felt 'off' so maybe they have to repeat or time goes back, but i definitely think they will have to because of Lila's comment. I also think if they have to do it a second time they will have to do it as a team, where they all support each other.
Anyway, i will watch a few more times over the next week and see if i think of something else. Anyway, I am even surer there is something going on with Jen, she seems to want to break the group apart, keep them from working together and that could be significant if working together is key.
