Advent Calendar 2022: Day 23 🎅
Day 23 dawns – only two more to go for my Advent Calendar until the big day. I hope everything is going well for you and that all your preparations are on course: those sprouts should have been on for a couple of days now. Today’s selection is two that I’ve played before plus a couple of new ones, though these are both from usual suspects. Let’s get going, shall we? I’ve played one of my…

Jack Bauer: *gasps* Let's get divorced

Good for Jeff!
Details as to his role are under wraps. But Pierre joins an ensemble led by Chris Pratt, which also includes Rebecca Ferguson, Kali Reis, Annabelle Wallis, Chris Sullivan, Kenneth Choi, Kylie Rogers and Rafi Gavron.
Set in the near future when capital crime has increased, Mercy follows a detective (Pratt) who is accused of a violent crime and forced to prove his innocence. The film written by Marco van Belle (Arthur & Merlin) is currently in production for release in theaters worldwide on August 15, 2025. Charles Roven is producing alongside Atlas Entertainment executive Robert Amidon, as well as Bekmambetov and his production banner BEL’s producer Majd Nassif.
Currently a series regular on The CW’s Walker, Pierre is frequently recognized for his multi-season recurring role on Shameless. Previously a series regular on Freeform’s Beyond, he’s also recurred on ABC’s The Rookie and Once Upon a Time, and been seen in War Dogs with Jonah Hill and Miles Teller. The actor is represented by Buchwald, Main Title Entertainment, and Meyer & Downs.
That's awesome! Congratulations, Jeff!!! Sounds like he has his hiatus plans set.

RIP Kenneth Cope (14.4.1931 - 11.9.2024)
"Michael Pratt and I just gelled. We had never met previously but we got on so well. Michael wrote, and we had such a great relationship that we would just change lines, and we were both on the same wavelength. That was such a lucky, lucky thing."

Just finished watching Walker and I loved it! I especially loved the quiet interludes between different characters: Cordell and Maybelline, Stella and Ben, Cordell and August (crying!), and of course, my favorite heads of the family, Bonham and Abby!
For once, Stella's storyline isn't annoying to me. I think her feelings are very realistic (and thank you, Ben, for explaining to her that they were normal). I'm interested to see where they go from here, and especially to find out why Witt was at Geri's in the first place.
Can I also talk about that scene between Cordell and Augie? I knew August was growing up (and up, and up... lol), but to see current-day Augie juxtaposed with that heart-breaking flashback... dang, that boy was a baby when he started! I can completely understand Cordell's reluctance to let him make such a monumental decision that will eventually take him away from home.
Loved seeing Jeff's real-life wife play Trey's date, and I'm glad Cassie has decided to stick around as a ranger!
(Shout out for the Detective Luna mention... so... when are we going to see him on screen???)
Anyway, it was a great episode and I'm excited to see what happens next!

True Jurassic franchise enlightenment comes through realizing that the Jurassic World script is five times tighter than Jurassic Park's, and that's okay.

Jurassic World Dominion made an impact as the sixth installment in the Jurassic Park series, solidifying its place as the third highest-grossing movie in the franchise. While critics had varying opinions, there's no denying the film's success, driven by several factors. Fans were especially excited about the long-awaited reunion of the original Jurassic Park trio, Sam Neill, Laura Dern, and Jeff Goldblum, alongside Chris Pratt and Bryce Dallas Howard from Jurassic World. This fusion of two worlds provided an exciting cinematic experience that resonated with audiences.
Director and co-writer Colin Trevorrow had a vision for a film that not only brought viewers back to theaters but also inspired a new generation of fans to delve into the entire Jurassic Park saga.
For those who missed watching it on the big screen, Jurassic World Dominion is now available on DVD, Blu-Ray, 4K formats, and various digital platforms.

I hated the last Jurassic world movie BUT it does have the funniest line ever said in a JP movie.
When Chris Pratt says I'm from Jurassic World and Jeff Goldblum says yeah I didn't like that one.
Literally hysterical.
The only joy that movie brought me.
