No you're right. I hate all of this. I'm fucking furious on behalf of what these people all had to go through, only for some weird fuck to come back after five years to rip all the bandaids off. I've had to block followers for agreeing with this person, too. I've made multiple posts before about how the slenderverse has issues with taking victims seriously, with misogyny, and all the like.... but to see it THIS out in the open... this is to an insane degree I never thought we'd have to confront again.

I thought our community learned an important lesson five years ago. I was there for all of it, I was in the tribetwelve fandom for fuck's sake! I saw people slowly come to terms with all this. I thought that, besides a few dickheads, we'd grown wiser, that we'd think before we blindly trust our idols. That we wouldn't try to play detective in the lives and suffering of REAL PEOPLE, for the sake of our comfort. But here we are! I can't believe we need to have this discussion again. Especially after the more recent shit with Jeff Koval. After everything these victims had to go through already. Again. Just for the sake of some people's comfort and nostalgia.

Their name is "slenderverse fun," and "The fun days of the slenderverse" is their bio. That's what I want you to take away from this: That's what this has always been about for them, and it's obvious. Some people care more about their own personal enjoyment of something- guilt free!- than the genuine safety of their community. This isn't about protecting some guy's honor. This isn't about anything valiant. We had this discussion five years ago, we know what this guy's done, and there's only one reason why someone would start pulling this shit all over again: It's a petty, childish attempt at protecting something this person enjoys, without having to use their brain. It's disgustingly selfish.

Also, if anyone is trying to take this person seriously, or at their word when they say "I never said I support Adam Rosner," this is someone who clearly isn't a Tumblr longstay, considering their likes are public...

They don't have a lot of likes, mostly just Tribetwelve fanart, but they do have a random post, from five years ago (when this is a new blog, mind you!) of like, one of the ONLY people who came out in support of Adam during his initial ""cancellation."

Having this in their likes as a new blog, when it only has 25 notes and was made in 2020, means they had to have intentionally sought out content like this. That should tell you their deeper beliefs, underneath the public, "PR"-like persona they're trying to roleplay with. This is not someone with "nuanced" views, and anyone who combs through what they're actually saying (not their dumb, "I'm seeking truth" tone, but their actual beliefs) can figure that out very quickly.

I wouldn't take this person at their word when they say they "fully believe Adam is a vile person," but to be clear, even if they did, they're still actively and vocally throwing shit at multiple women and their claims of assault, years after the fact, because of some weird parasocial, selfish obsession with Adam and his work. Even after all of his "coworkers" and friends have distanced themself from him or even contributed to him being deplatformed. It doesn't matter if they still think Adam did soooome of that shit. They're denying the shit that matters the fucking most. They're hurting members of our community who have already been hurt, and throwing them under the bus for the sake of.... well, "slenderverse fun."

This is what happens when you let your obsession with some person, or some piece of media, triumph over your compassion for other people. It makes you a shit human being.

Don't be like them. Use your brain.

It's not up to you to decide if a victim is telling the truth. they're saying if there was more proof why is Adam not in jail and maybe it's because rapists never get in trouble for what they do??? does this mean I'm suddenly a liar because I have no proof of what happened to me with my teacher??? Yeah, but Nothing But Trouble is different than Mars Attacks because if you have to compare it to a Burton movie, it should be Beetlejuice.'

So apparently Stydia is canon? But what I don’t understand is why. I mean lydia didn’t notice stiles at all throughout the seasons. They went from lydia completely ignoring stiles to friends and now they’re a couple? In my personal opinion from what I’ve read is the only reason lydia “loves” Stiles is because he was taken. And what happened with lydia and Parrish? We’re they even together? I know Stalia broke up that was clear but I’m still so confused.

And this isn’t me bashing stydia or anything. I personally don’t like the ship but that’s just because of their history. Not because I’m a die hard sterek fanatic. I’ve known for a long time Sterek will never be canon and I’m ok with that. Sterek is bigger than the show ever will be. 50k works on AO3 not to mention all the fanart, ficlits, and many tumblr pages dedicated to them. Sterek lives on in the hearts of so many.

Basically the only reason stydia is canon is because jeff Davis and the writers are trying to keep the ratings ok enough to get through 6B. I will be happy when teen wolf is over because then the stupid trolls who like to bully and hate on people because of who they like.
