Sorry for not posting so much it’s because I’ve been trying to do redesigns after redesigns and no the store is not canceled since I’m still having ideas for it! But I’m more focused of reading designing for now! But here is cars/a truck Redesigns! Happy Fakie Friday! Today I'd like to talk about my personal definition of what makes a toy a "fakie", as I've had people bridle (hee hee) at some of my Fakie Friday picks in the past.

First, let's talk about what doesn't define a fakie.

A fakie doesn't have to be a bootleg (though they can be).

A fakie doesn't have to be made by an unknown, fly-by-night company. Remco was founded in 1949, Buddy L's toy division was founded in 1921.

A fakie doesn't have to have incomprehensible or poorly designed packaging.

A fakie doesn't have to be a poor quality or poorly thought out toy.

Okay, so what IS a fakie?

Fakies aren't about non-Hasbro horse toys being "bad" and Hasbro horse toys being "good"; it's about how impactful the My Little Pony brand is. Even in the years where the toyline was completely dormant, your average joe would look at a rainbow horse with a heart on its bum and think "My Little Pony."

^ This horse in Hercules isn't proportioned like a MLP at all but in the Year of Our Lord 1997 everyone was talking about "the scene where Pegasus was almost seduced by a My Little Pony." (Though the pink horse was actually the bad guys in disguise.)

I love fakies! But no matter how innovative and high quality are, they cannot escape being compared to the platonic ideal: a Real My Little Pony.

So here is my ultimate test of whether a toy horse is a fakie:

Throw away its packaging. Lose all its accessories. Toss it in a baggie with random small toys and hang it on a hook in Savers, Value Village, or Goodwill.

If your elderly relative who knows nothing about toys points out the baggie and says to you, the collector: "Oh, here's one with a My Little Pony in it", then it's a fakie. ;)

Chicago Auto Show (1975)

For a couple weeks I’m still working on the story, but I decided to draw these cars and maybe more in the future! These cars are the ones I saw in real life, but the last one I could’ve took a picture of it, but I found a picture that kind of reminds me of the engine, so I wanted to meet bumble, bugy and authur! Bumble is face of my mom’s car(which I lost a picture) bugy is that green car I saw in Seattle! And authur is an engine that I saw, but I could’ve took a picture of it, so I found the model somewhat!)) to let you all know if they are friends with Danny, but they also are friends to each other. They also had engine friends from the railway, Road, even the sea! Bumble is like this little quiet type buddy does talk and he’s mostly on bugy side. Buggy is this kind soft boy who loves to help others and make sure their friends are doing so well and we have authur-he’s somewhat eight energize engine, who has the same problem, blind in the other eye. Maybe that’s why Danny and him got used to each other so much. Plus they always enjoy the company! As you can tell, they have different purrs, from like wild cats, but honestly they are such a sweetheart, but try not to mess with bubble or authur!I could tell If one bad move, they could still go who’s the real boss around, but they follow the rules and try to protect each other even their friends!

I was chasing Hannibal Lecter through a field of flowers, driving in a jeep that in fact did not belong to me. I ran him over with my car. He was flat on the windshield like a starfish, but he seemed very content about it.
