For the first time in my life, I visited a harbor city and spent a few days there (that was last week to be exact)

Y’all, It completely shifted my perspective on ships. I overdosed myself with boats, I now understand the environment and how everything works together—how the systems, people, and operations are all interconnected. I had been struggling with even the simplest setups for Tugger and anything related to tugboats. Updates for Lost Anchor have been slow as FUCK bc I kept running into dead ends, and so much of my research felt like it was going nowhere. I’ve also been trying to introduce a few more relevant characters for Lost Anchor, but I just couldn’t figure out how to make them fit. But now? I’m fucking cooking. Things are finally coming together.

When you said that the unluckiest person is most hopeful, it reminded me of Nagito Komaeda. If the universe were combined, do you think he would fair well having Anti Cosmo as his anti fairy?

Funnily enough, I feel like it would be Hajime who would have an anti-fairy companion. I mean, he’s surrounded by extremely skilled people! That would attract bad luck in some way for him. Nagito wouldn’t be good food for anti-fairies. Or Fairies. Or Pixies.

...Honestly, Fairies aren’t quite sure what food he produces. It’s like a weird amalgamation of luck, desire, greed, and all sorts of emotions they can’t disentangle. Like a crockpot gone horribly horribly wrong. Eating any bit of that would make any fairy sick.

Eugh. The hell is wrong with that one.

I think I might have missed a post or something so sorry if like a billion people asked this before but what happened to Thespius? Did he just up and leave or did the grief eat him up?

I tag all of my posts on LaL au under the tag (#ggg Love and loss au), so if you worry you may have missed something you can always check with that tag on my blog! Though in this case you haven't missed anything! I purposefully kept it vague On exactly what happened with Thespius since in the Au nobody really knows what happened to him. The gods stopped seeing him right after Cliff's death because he shut himself inside his own realm and refused anyone entry; and Cliff never went to investigate where Thespius went when he disappeared because he assumed he upset the god. Only a week after Cliff last saw him is when Huzzle is finally able to enter Thespius's realm to investigate, finding the revived human.

Though I'll let you in on a secret. He never left.

Grief and guilt didn't just eat him up. It swallowed him whole.

My belief is less "I don't know" and more "I think there's the possibility of something out there it's just that it's none of my business." Like if we found out Zeus, Jesus Christ, and Ra are actually best buddies and go to trivia every Thursday and that the Rapture was supposed to happen 50 years ago and got cancelled or some shit and it's like..I answer phone calls at a front desk man idk what you want me to do with that info

I keep thinking about the character sheets for the Toby Litt run that the Omnibus includes and of course so much changed between them and the actual run (the entirety of Crystal, name included, for example) but I cannot get them out of my head.

Especially the character motivations. Charles wants to be alive. Edwin wants to be safe.
