JEE MAIN 2019: Scoring Well is Not an Art, It’s a Determination
According to the announcement made by HRD minister from this year JEE will be conducted in two sessions in a year. And according to the announcement students can also choose the date of their examination for either one or both sessions.
There are lots of websites, intellectuals and books providing tips and tricks for cracking one of the most competitive examination of the world JEE. The entrance examination of JEE main and advance is the key to top engineering institutes in India including IITS and NITs.
The preparation for this entrance exam is tough and few students starts their preparation after class 8 and most of the students begin their preparation after class 10. There are numerous mock tests and previous year question papers for helping out students to strengthen their preparation in a much better way.
From this year, according to the announcements made by the HRD minister JEE will be conducted in two sessions in a year and students will be able to choose the date of their examination for either one session or both sessions. The first session will be held in January while the second session is going to be held in April and the mode of the examination will be in computer-based mode.
The mode of examination can be little overwhelming and challenging especially for rural children. Unlike the last year in which there was options for students to take the examination either in the pen and paper mode or the computer-based mode, from next year student will be only allowed to take the computer-based mode.
Some Absolutely Awesome JEE Main Preparation Tip
1.       Students should get used to solving the complicated question on a computer, since in India most of the questions are provided on a paper, solving the question on a computer would definitely help.
2.       Even you are in a confusion of completing your portion register for the January exam. Start developing some tips and tricks for the exam. January exam registration starts from 1st September and ends on 30th September.
3.       National testing agency (NTA) is going to set up over 3000 practice centres across the country in order to make you comfortable with this new mode of testing. Visit the practice centres to get the proper insights of the examination and it is completely free of cost.
4.       The most important thing is to concentrate on your Class 12 board exams as you will need a minimum of 75 per cent in your class 12 to qualify for JEE main. Do not lose focus from JEE main exam and spend some time in practising theorems, diagrams and other long answers which are usually asked during your board examination.
There will be no change in the difficulty level of the examination, apart from the change in the format of the examination other things will remain the same. And there is plenty of help for you to prepare your examination properly like National testing agency and educational website like www.edupie.in. So make a time table for your preparation and stick to it to do well.

At 95%, JEE(M) sees record attendance
Tumblr media
NEW DELHI: The first cycle of JEE (Main) 2021, conducted for the first time in 13 languages, for admission to engineering courses recorded an all-time high of 95.1% attendance. The exams concluded on Friday and the results are expected in the first week of March. The exams were conducted across 331 cities, which include 10 cities outside India. In 2020 in the midst of the pandemic, Paper 1 (for engineering) and Paper 2 (architecture) had seen low attendance of 81.6% and 54.7% respectively. This year, 6.52 lakh engineering aspirants turned up for the exams which was conducted over three days, each day having two sessions. In paper 2, 81.2% of a little over 63,000 registered candidates took the test. Overall attendance for the JEE (Main) 2021 February cycle stood at 94%. In 2019, the overall attendance recorded was 90.4%, while in 2018 it was 87.5%. A senior NTA official said, “This is a record attendance for paper one which is for BTech and BE programmes … It is also all-time high for overall attendance as generally it has been hovering around 90% to 92%.” He said one of the reasons for high attendance is “probably because most of the Board exams including those of CBSE had been scheduled for May instead of mid-February, which allowed candidates to prepare for the exam and take it in a more relaxed manner”. Apart from English and Hindi, the multiple choice computer-based exams were also conducted in Assamese, Bengali, Gujarati, Kannada, Malayalam, Marathi, Odia, Punjabi, Tamil, Telugu and Urdu. The second cycle of the test would be conducted from March 15 to March 18 for which new registration and correction window would open from March 1 for candidates to apply or opt out of the March and subsequent cycles.
