How to prepare for JEE (Main) 2018
First of all the engineering aspirants, who are going to appear at the JEE (Main) examination 2018, which is going to be held next month, must take it as a challenge and enjoy it to ensure their success.
“Success is not the key to happiness. Happiness is the key to success. If you love what you are doing, you will be successful.”– Herman Cain. This quotation amply clarifies how to treat any sort of examination in life to be successful. If you love examination, you are bound to prepare for it with all attributes at your disposal. When heart and mind co-ordinate together for the task at hand, it is tackled successfully. The next month is the month of engineering examinations. Among the engineering examinations, JEE (Main) is the toughest one
The students of Class 10+2 standards from Science stream with Physics, Chemistry and Mathematics are going to appear at JEE (Main). We wish them all success!
But we have also a number of suggestions for them to get success in the examinations. Lakhs of students prepare for these examinations. But only those who take the exam as challenge and enjoy it ensure their success. The moment a feeling of positivity and enjoyment develop in student’s while preparing for the entrance tests, they will start understanding the subject they study very easily and clearly. So, the examinations must not be taken as burdens but challenges to enjoy.
The engineering aspirants must inculcate among themselves a sense of enjoying the subject they study. As Engineering Entrance Examinations are getting more and more difficult; the students are also required to devote more and more time to study the subject. The moment they start enjoying their courses of study, they would naturally devote more and more time. If they study under some short of burden or pressure, they do it in a negative mode which would be no benefit for them. They must temperamentally take the task of studying the courses as enjoyment and the examination as challenges only then they can ensure the success and the desired result.
Engineering aspirants are not required to take the entrance examinations as havoc. If they do, they are bound to break and all their efforts would go waste.  The day they start taking examinations as challenges and enjoying it to the hilt, they will ensure their successes. Taking examinations as challenges clearly denotes that the students are in positive mode.
They enjoy it to get success. It is the state of mind that how you deal with task at hand. The moment a feeling developed in your brain that this is difficult thing to do, it will certainly become so for you and you would not be able to overcome it. And at the same time if you look at the problem in a positive way with determination that it could be resolved easily, it is certain that you would overcome it.
It is rightly said that continuous effort of drawing a line on stone by merely moving a rope on it daily, it is drawn very easily. So, with a positive frame of mind if the engineering aspirants face the entrance tests as challenges, they are bound to get success.
Though almost all engineering entrance examinations are tough and demand hard labour and sincere effort, JEE(Main) is not only the premier engineering entrance examinations but also the most difficult one. JEE (Main) is the first choice of all brilliant students of science stream with Mathematics, Physics, and Chemistry.  The preparations for JEE (Main) demands high concentration, regular practice, sincere effort and hard work.
The preparation for JEE (Main) by the sincere and serious engineering aspirants begins from Class 10th itself. It requires detailed and thorough study of the subject. JEE (Main) aspirants are required to go through Original text books on Physics, Chemistry and Mathematics. Its aspirants have to stick to the schedule of study and they have to maintain
it at any cost. Success does not come to anyone unless and until he or she is devoted to it. So, the devotion to study and the will to succeed in JEE (Main) entrance examination need to be inculcated in the minds of the students who appear at it. JEE (Main) is also the most challenging examination in the field of engineering education. An effective strategy is required to be made by the students to prepare for JEE (Main).
Beginning JEE preparation at the onset of Class 11th is a boon as it puts students’ boards and entrance preparation in order.
The strategy for JEE Main 2018 must include:
Cover the Syllabus for class 11th and 12th thoroughly encompassing both concepts and practice.
Join an adept coaching institute with an excellent faculty and provision of test series program. This can be the most crucial building block of your JEE Main 2018 preparation strategy. If you would like to study from home, study and practice using online preparation platforms, plan a well timed schedule to incorporate your school studies and JEE preparation. Make topic-wise notes for concepts and formula for quick recap.
Follow specific books and once a chapter is covered, attempt as many mocks and sample papers as you can so that you can understand your proficiency level.
Take time out for doing things to release your stress and resume your studies with a refreshed mind.
It is not only about preparing hard for JEE Main 2018, but also about applying certain tried and tested techniques. Depending on the location and on the basis of their previous results, students go to different top coaching classes in India. See how the topper of JEE Main prepared, for securing the top position in JEE Main 2018. Have constructive discussions: It is important to eliminate even the smallest spec of doubt in your mind; whether it is to do with subjects or general career advice. Discussing and clearing doubts with fellow aspirants and mentors can help you overcome your weaknesses. Interact with them without any hesitation to devise an efficient study plan for yourself.
The final two years of school education will constitute the entire JEE Main 2018 syllabus with Class 11th contributing to roughly 45% of curriculum and the remaining is from Class 12th. We analysed last 5 years’ question papers and segregated each question to the topic it comes from to find out the most important chapters. Experienced from the pattern, some of the most important topics for JEE Main
2018 spotted in the order of their importance are:
