How Do You Prepare for JEE Advanced?
Preparing for JEE Advanced can feel like a big challenge, but with the right approach, it's totally manageable. The key is to have a solid plan and stick to it. Here, we’ll break down some practical tips to help you prepare effectively while keeping things simple.
Start with Understanding the Basics
Before you start preparing, make sure you know the syllabus inside out. JEE Advanced tests your understanding of Physics, Chemistry, and Mathematics, so it's important to know what topics need your attention. Understanding concepts is more important than just memorizing them, so aim to build a strong foundation.
Make a Study Plan That Works for You
The first step to successful preparation is creating a study routine. Divide your time for Physics, Chemistry, and Maths, giving extra focus to your weaker areas. Staying consistent with your study hours will matter more than random bursts of long study sessions.
Now, choosing the right coaching also plays a big role. Joining the best coaching for JEE Advanced physics, chemistry, or maths can guide you in the right direction. Experienced teachers not only clear your doubts but also teach you how to approach tricky questions.
Focus on One Subject at a Time
Here’s a practical way to handle each subject:
Physics: It's one of the toughest sections for many students. Focus on clearing your fundamentals first. Good coaching, such as the best coaching for JEE Advanced physics, can really help you tackle this. Practice questions regularly and understand how to apply the formulas.
Chemistry: Many students find Chemistry a mix of easy and tough sections. Physical Chemistry needs calculation practice, Organic Chemistry requires you to remember reactions and mechanisms, and for Inorganic Chemistry, a lot of it involves straightforward learning. If you feel stuck, try finding the best coaching for JEE Advanced chemistry to guide you step-by-step.
Mathematics: Maths is all about practice. Solve as many problems as you can, covering different difficulty levels. It’s helpful to work with structured material offered by the best coaching for JEE Advanced maths, as it pushes you to build speed and accuracy.
Solve Papers and Revise Often
Practicing past years’ papers is a must for success in JEE Advanced. These help you understand the type of questions that appear and how to manage your time in the actual exam. Take regular mock tests to see where you’re lagging and revise topics based on your mistakes. Short notes for formulas and important concepts can be a lifesaver when revising.
Stay Healthy and Positive
Don’t forget, your health matters as much as your preparation. Eat nutritious food, sleep well, and take short breaks during the day to avoid burnout. Keep your mind fresh and stay positive. Remember, it's not just hard work but also smart work that will bring results.
Final Thoughts
Preparing for JEE Advanced is a mix of strategy, hard work, and the right mentorship. While self-study is crucial, good coaching can make a big difference in showing you the right direction. Look for the best coaching for JEE Advanced physics, chemistry, or maths, depending on where you need the most help. With proper guidance, regular practice, and a positive mindset, you’ll be ready to achieve your goal. All the best!

JEE Advanced AIR 9 Dhruvin Doshi: Journey to Success by Staying Focused and Strategic
Achieving a remarkable All-India Rank (AIR) of 9 in the JEE Advanced exam is no small feat, and Dhruvin Doshi's journey to the top is a testament to his dedication, strategy, and resilience. With an impressive score of 329 out of 360, this Mumbai boy's story is both inspiring and instructive for aspiring engineers across the country.
Shifting Gears for Success: Moving to a Hostel
Hailing from Mulund, Dhruvin initially faced a considerable challenge: a long daily commute from Mulund to Andheri for his coaching classes at Sri Chaitanya Educational Institutions. This daily travel was not only time-consuming but also exhausting. Realizing the need to optimize his time and energy, Dhruvin, along with a few friends, decided to make a strategic move.
“In the first year, I commuted daily, but in the second year, we shifted to a hostel closer to our coaching center. This decision saved us from the daily travel hassle and allowed us to focus entirely on our studies,” Dhruvin shared. “Having friends with me throughout this journey was crucial. Moving alone would have added unnecessary stress, which we wanted to avoid.”
Family Influence and Career Choice
Interestingly, despite coming from a family of doctors—his mother a dentist and his father an anesthesiologist—Dhruvin chose a different path. “I was never interested in biology or medicine, so I thought, why not try engineering? The result, as it turns out, is quite delightful,” he said, smiling. Dhruvin had modest expectations, aiming to be among the top 60, but his hard work propelled him to an even higher rank.
The Art of Focus: Steering Clear of Distractions
One of the critical factors in Dhruvin's success was his disciplined approach to managing distractions. While he did own a smartphone, he made a conscious decision to stay away from social media apps that could divert his attention. “I believe in giving my best effort in everything I do. But once you’ve put in 100%, it’s important to relax and accept whatever the outcome may be. Stressing over the result isn’t helpful,” Dhruvin advised.
To unwind and keep stress at bay, Dhruvin often chatted with friends and played cricket, maintaining a balanced approach to his rigorous study schedule. He dedicated a substantial 10-11 hours each day to his studies, ensuring he was thoroughly prepared for the exam.
The Sweet Taste of Success
Reflecting on his achievement, Dhruvin expressed immense satisfaction. “Seeing the results now, it feels like all the hard work has finally paid off. I am thrilled and look forward to pursuing the Computer Science and Engineering (CSE) branch at IIT Bombay,” he said.
Dhruvin's journey highlights the importance of making strategic decisions, staying focused, and maintaining a balance between hard work and relaxation. For those aspiring to follow in his footsteps, his story serves as a powerful reminder that with dedication, smart planning, and a little bit of sacrifice, great achievements are within reach.

How to Stay Motivated During JEE Main 2024 Preparation?
A challenge like the JEE comes with anxiety, stress, and nervousness. Plus, the increase in competition every year makes the exam tougher. Students often find it difficult to tackle the stress. So, if you plan on taking the JEE Main in 2024, here are ways to ease your worries.
Understand the reason for studying
Evaluate the purpose of your study. Analyse your life’s goal and find the reason why you wish to take the JEE. Is engineering your goal? Do you want a seat at a prestigious institute? Either way, being sure about the purpose will motivate you to do your best.
Keep the faith, in yourself
Self-belief is a great motivator that helps move mountains. Your belief in yourself will get you far, and you must believe that ‘nothing succeeds like success’. This means you have faith that you can learn, understand, remember, and recall.
Remember your goals, always
JEE is prestigious, difficult and challenging. When you constantly work towards achieving this challenging goal, you will attain success in it. Thus, always remind yourself about your aim and vision for the future. Write it down and read it daily, morning and night, to stay motivated.
Break your dreams into tiny portions
Break your goals/dreams into small, achievable chunks. This is a powerful and effective way to maintain a positive mindset. Taking small steps leads to achieving them easily. So, break the chapter into small portions, making it easy to study.
Ask for help when needed
Asking for help is always recommended. So, do seek it when faced with difficulties while studying. Get your doubts cleared by your tutors as soon as possible. Also, reach out to your peers as well through online forums/communities. Seeking help will boost your confidence, helping you stay positive.
Give yourself a treat
Indulging yourself with small treats acts as an impetus for you to do better each day. Set a daily goal, and reward yourself on completion of the task. Treat yourself to your favourite food, sweets, a book, a movie, or anything you like. This will boost your morale and motivate you to do better.
Meditate and say affirmations
There will be times when you will feel frustrated even when you follow everything mentioned above. You may feel low and feel like taking a drop. This is when self-affirmations and meditation work and will help you stay positive. Think about why you are preparing for your JEE and say affirmations.
Following the above will help you stay motivated and maintain a positive mindset. Another way to stay motivated is to join a coaching institute. TG Campus has some power-packed online courses for JEE Main
2024 that will help you achieve your goals. The expert faculty is ready to guide and mentor you and help you resolve any difficulty. This automatically helps you stay positive and encourages you to do your best.

Hi! I messed up a lot in eleventh and am really not in a good mental place rn, I'm really good with tech though and was intially preparing to head abroad but can't do so anymore cause my average in my junior yr was like rlly low. So stuck w trying to prep for JEE and have already dropped my coaching - was in sankalp @fiitjee, and just couldn't handle the obnoxiously poor teaching there anymore. I'm with like private JEE coaching directly from Delhi/Kota rn that happens online but frankly I have sm sm backlog I just don't know if I'll be able to crack it. Also, in regular schooling obvi, which is a completely different pain in the a**.
Any tips/tricks/ideas on how to get into a good uni here (DTU, IIITs, BITS, etectera like anything with decent ranking so that I could still try for outside for my masters again with?)
Tysm, have been following your blog for a while and love your daily posts, they really do motivate me to head to the study table : ))
Hey anon,
First of all, I'd like you to take a deep breath and let go of your worries and stress, just for a moment. Tell them to come back in a couple minutes ;)
You have something that I don't have now, and it's something that I wish for- you have time. Realising in 12th that you have to work hard is not too late. You still can work hard and drastically improve your performance in the real JEE Mains exam.
I don't want to give you a big lecture on being motivated and fighting for yourself by studying, though that is something that you should do- fight for yourself.
Even if your 11th went absolutely horribly, you can still turn things around. I have seen people, classmates, who completely changed their scores and performance, by practising rigorously and strengthening their concepts. They were people from whom I did not expect to see 97+ percentile, but they got it- and they deserved it too.
(also there's plenty of motivation videos on youtube and pinterest, sometimes they do help, so you can go to them- just be mindful of the time you'll spend watching them)
Some tips I'll give for working on your performance:
Give mock exams. Yes, even if they're going absolutely shittily.
Analyse your mocks question by question- if it was correct, incorrect, or unattempted. Incorrect or unattempted because you made a silly mistake, had forgotten the concept, or did not know the concept at all.
Work hard but also take breaks- getting burnt out only hurts you, your health (both mental and physical) and your efficiency
You have to have confidence, and believe in yourself- I am putting in the effort, I am working hard- this itself will help your progress (tried and tested)
NCERT is literally God for Chemistry for exams like JEE Mains. Physics and Maths require a lot of practise- you can use PYQ's for all of these, and can access plenty of practise sheets from yout own institute and the web too.
Keep practising, keep revising concepts.
Keep up with whatever they're teaching in your institute. Trying to catch up with backlog while letting the current topics go, will not be helpful. Catch up with the backlog on the weekends, or whenever you get even 20 minutes spare time.
Make a timetable. And if that doesn't work, just be consistent in your studies- tell yourself to study for at least 4 hours other than school and coaching (it's going to be tough, you can set your own goals, this was just an example)
Note- I have to say, keeping up with school studies is important too, because it gets you material to study from for the boards. There's some friends of mine who are now ineligible for appearing for JEE Advance because they did not clear the 75% Boards cutoff, even though they got 90+ percentile in JEE Mains.
See if you have Delhi domicile, still you need 96+ percentile to have a chance at getting IIITD, DTU, NSUT, IGDTUW
BITS is an exam that requires speed and efficiency and immense knowledge. It's got 130 questions, +3, 0 and -1 marking, and has to be completed in 3 hours. It's very competitive, and you need to practise pyq's and work on your speed for that, from what I've heard.
Ah. Well. I hope this post covered the questions you had! If it didn't, feel free to send another ask or even message me, whatever you want. (Sorry for answering this anon after a day heh, I wanted to think things through before posting the answer)
And thank you so much for following me :) I'm glad that my posts help you get motivated to study (PS: They help me get motivated to study too)
Keep working, happily, anon! <3

Effective Time Management Tips for JEE Advanced 2024 Success
Time management is a crucial aspect of achieving success in the highly competitive JEE Advanced 2024 examination. With a vast syllabus to cover and limited time available, aspirants need to have effective strategies in place to optimize their study hours. In this article, we will discuss various time management techniques that can help you make the most of your preparation time and boost your chances of success in JEE Advanced 2024.
Time Management Strategies for JEE Advanced 2024 Success
When it comes to preparing for JEE Advanced, prioritizing your studies is key to staying focused and avoiding unnecessary stress. Here are some strategies to help you prioritize your preparation:
Prioritizing Important Topics for JEE Advanced Preparation
Start by identifying the topics that carry more weightage in the examination. Focus on mastering these topics first before moving on to others. This approach ensures that you allocate your time and energy to the subjects that are most likely to appear in the exam.
Crafting a Study Schedule for Maximum Efficiency
A well-structured study schedule can help you utilize your time effectively. Divide your study hours into smaller blocks and allocate specific topics or subjects to each block. This way, you can maintain a productive study routine and cover the entire syllabus within the available time.
Now that you have defined your study schedule, let’s explore some techniques to enhance your revision process:
Effective Revision Techniques for JEE Advanced Preparation
Revision is a crucial part of the preparation process for JEE Advanced. One effective technique is to create concise notes summarizing key concepts and formulas for each subject. These notes can serve as quick references during your revision sessions, helping you reinforce your understanding of the topics.
Another helpful revision strategy is to solve previous years’ question papers and sample papers. By practicing with these papers, you can familiarize yourself with the exam pattern, improve your time management skills, and identify areas where you need to focus more attention.
Utilizing Technology for Enhanced Learning
Enhancing Revision with Diverse Techniques
Effective Revision Methods for Last-Minute Preparation
As the exam date approaches, efficient revision becomes crucial. Here are some methods to make your revision process more effective:
1. Make concise notes highlighting key concepts and formulas.
Create flashcards for quick and easy revision.
Solve previous year’s question papers to boost your confidence and familiarize yourself with the exam pattern.
Join online mock tests to assess your preparation level and identify areas that need improvement.
Moreover, it’s essential to incorporate active learning strategies into your revision routine. These strategies can include teaching the material to someone else, engaging in group study sessions, or using mnemonic devices to aid in memory retention. By actively engaging with the content, you are more likely to retain information and recall it during the exam.
Another effective technique is to create a study schedule that includes regular breaks. Research shows that studying in shorter, focused sessions with breaks in between can improve concentration and information retention. Additionally, incorporating physical activity or relaxation techniques during these breaks can help reduce stress and improve overall cognitive function.
Maximizing Productivity with Strategic Breaks
While studying rigorously is important, it is equally vital to take regular breaks to avoid burnout and maintain productivity. Here’s how you can make the most of your study breaks:
* Engage in physical activities like a quick walk or stretching exercises to rejuvenate your body.
Practice relaxation techniques such as deep breathing or meditation to calm your mind.
Indulge in hobbies or activities that you enjoy, such as reading a book or listening to music, to refresh your mind.
It’s essential to understand the science behind taking breaks for optimal productivity. Research has shown that our brains can only focus for a limited amount of time before becoming fatigued. By incorporating strategic breaks into your study or work routine, you allow your brain to rest and recharge, leading to improved focus and efficiency when you return to your tasks.
In addition to physical and mental activities during breaks, it’s also beneficial to nourish your body with healthy snacks and hydration. Consuming nutritious foods like fruits, nuts, or yogurt can provide the energy needed to sustain your concentration levels. Staying hydrated by drinking water or herbal teas can also prevent dehydration, which can cause fatigue and hinder cognitive function.
Identifying Your Peak Performance Hours
Harnessing Your Peak Hours for Optimal Study Sessions
Every individual has different times of the day when they are most focused and productive. Identify your peak performance hours and schedule your intensive study sessions during this time. This will enable you to make the most of your energy and concentration levels.
It’s important to note that peak performance hours can vary from person to person based on factors such as chronotype, lifestyle, and sleep patterns. Some people are early birds, feeling most alert and productive in the morning, while others are night owls, finding their peak performance hours later in the day. Understanding your own body’s natural rhythm can help you optimize your study schedule for better results.
Additionally, research suggests that the brain’s cognitive functions tend to peak at certain times of the day, influenced by the body’s circadian rhythm. For many individuals, late morning to early afternoon is when cognitive functions like memory retention, problem-solving, and creativity are at their best. By aligning your study sessions with these peak cognitive hours, you can enhance your learning experience and retention of information.

Academic Success Based on Astrology for Students in 2025
Students from all over the world in 2025 will have new opportunities and a variety of challenges for the rest of their academic struggle. For people in academia, it is constantly believed that astrology has the key to their success, given its potential to strengthen one’s perseverance. How does Dr. Vinay Bajrangi, who is an accomplished astrologer, explain a student’s education by focusing on the world’s connections and the solutions to the problems faced by the students?
Major Planetary Configuration in 2025
In the year 2025 students’ concentration, memory and examination performance will intensely be represented by several planetary workings. Such transits are known to include: Jupiter in Taurus: Jupiter, the master of knowledge and how to acquire it, will move through the sign of Taurus in the year 2025. This thus facilitates optimal concentration and understanding of higher order topics. Students with an interest in finance, the arts and agriculture, in particular, should do well. Moreover, students sitting for the various entrance examinations including the UPSC, NEET, and JEE are in all likelihood set to pursue their tasks with much concentration and fervor.
Mercury Retrogrades
Hence it becomes paramount to understand that three times during the year, mercury which stands for communication as well as intellect gets into its retrogate phase, during such periods, the flow of ideas and messages does get affected. In this particular regard, school students ought to be extremely vigilant, especially those students who are bound to submit their applications pertaining to CA and other professional exams as the risk of making any errors such as typos and the likes can be quite high.
Read also - Mercury retrograde effects on zodiac signs
Saturn in Aquarius
The keyword in Friends which concentrates on Antony's life in Aquarius is discipline as well as hard work. In a nutshell, students who put in a diligent amount of effort may expect to be compensated in the future through the cause-and-effect relationship. This is particularly good for students in colleges and universities taking technical and professional courses. Subject selection as per birth chart can also help identify suitable fields of study for academic success.
Tips for Students Based on Moon Signs
Students’ moon signs can have an impact on the way they study and process knowledge. For the year 2025, here are more tips for students:
Aries: Never leave even the minutest details for later. Manage the time appropriately and adjust your study plans to eliminate potential distractions.
Taurus: Focus on educational development this year. Make the most of Jupiter’s auspicious energy this year by seeking out advanced study or enrolling in courses for challenging exams like UPSC NEET or JEE. Prepare by practicing with exam examples.
Gemini: Grasp the concepts well. Once again, if that means supplementing education for data gathering specifically for the CA and other professional courses, this should be. Have a plan for what you want to accomplish.
Cancer: You can increase your power of focus by meditating. Steer clear of procrastination and take consistent action. Join your friends in group study sessions to get doubts cleared.
Leo: This is also a good chance for you to delve into the creative sectors. Make time for pursuits outside the strict curriculum and don’t forget to plan studies too because they’re equally important.
Virgo: Maintain a good work life balance. If you work too hard, there is a risk of burnout at some point. Put health first, and use strategists to plan your daily schedule.

Performing Budh Puja: Each Wednesday, pray to learning as well as teaching Mercury to have better studying skills, especially when you have an exam or need to study.
Selecting Hours of Studies That Are Propitious: Leverage vedic astrology to find the appropriate hours, for example Brahma Muhurta to study which aids in proper preparation for various exams like NEET or JEE and could be very useful to the students.
How Astrology Can Assist You in Career Choices
As prominent as academics are, students may leverage astrology to assist them in the career decision making process. One can consider the positions of the planets such as Jupiter, Saturn, and Mercury to determine the areas they are mostly likely to be successful in. No matter if you are on the verge of taking the UPSC exams or NEET, JEE, CA for example, astrology can be useful. It can also help you in determining whether you should take up engineering or medicine or finance or something creative depending on your abilities.
Why Should One Go To Dr. Vinay Bajrangi?
Dr. Vinay Bajrangi is known to be a trustworthy person when it comes to practising astrology. This is because he has a great deal of knowledge on the topic. Many students have been able to attain success thanks to his understanding about career astrology. When working with him, here is what you can expect to achieve
Conclusion
The Year 2025 has the potential to be a great one for students. It is very necessary for you to make proper efforts in the right direction in order to make the most out of your learning opportunities. With some changes in your approach, including accompanying astrological remedies and doing work, one can achieve anything. If you are preparing for and aiming for UPSC exams or NEET or JEE or CA and the like, the science of astrology has a blueprint for you to help you reach your desired goal.
