Have you read the detailed leak for act one of TROS by JediPaxis? On one hand, I am hoping it is true because it affirms that Rey has healing abilities and her force bond interactions with Kylo will start taking place in the first act itself. On the other hand, this leaker has previously said that Ben dies after redeeming himself in the end so I am fervently hoping his information is inaccurate/incomplete.

The sandworm sequence, if it is true, is a textbook chekhov’s gun for Rey using that power later in a crucial moment.

In JediPaxis’ bloated fanfic, it’s just there to explain why Palps would be interested in Rey (so she can heal him back to his original strength). But you don’t give the heroine such a SPECIFIC power without it coming to fruition for something GOOD and BEAUTIFUL and HEROIC, like resurrecting the only son of the OT heroes who JUST sacrificed his life to save the galaxy. 

JediPaxis thinks the ultimate point of Rey and Kylo is to accidentally bring Palps back, arm him with new superpowers, and then fail at defeating him so Ghost Luke and a bunch of other old dudes from the past trilogies can save the day, reestablishing who REALLY matters in this franchise (characters who are the age of the new audience’s grandparents, and who are the self inserts for 40-something fanbros who’ve been shitting on the new trilogy since 2015)

Like I said, I think JP has access to SOME legit info, but he’s starting to love the smell of his own farts a bit too much, so he’s milking whatever real information he has as much as he can by filling the many blanks with his own imagination and dragging his audience along as he reveals new pieces of info every day, and people eat up every word he says and continue giving him new ideas in the comments so he keeps building and building his house of cards. Which is why it takes him so long to “go through his notes”---bro, this isn’t the divine comedy, it’s a goddamn children’s movie. The plot can’t be THAT complicated. 

The way he describes the first act might have some truth to it but it’s TOO convoluted and complicated. There’s the wayfinder and the oracle and then Palpatine’s shrine, meanwhile Lando shows up out of nowhere telling a convoluted story from the past about an imperial officer which brings them to a ship which in turn triggers Rey’s memories, but it’s also about his lost child, which Finn inevitably thinks is him à la Blade Runner 2049... I got a headache trying to read it, to be honest. Me thinks somebody doctored the sparse info he got to the point of turning it into an unrecognizable mess.

Any advice for someone whose anxiety went up 10x once they realized the trailer matched the JediPaxis leaks? I want to be positive for the last two months

the fact that the trailer matches the leaks is actually highly suspicious to me and makes me think one of his sources was editing the trailer. and his other source was probably in concepting. which is why he has legit info about planets and objects but is lacking the entire cohesive tissue of the story that links them. I think it’s clear he played a lot of fill-in-the-blanks and pretended he didn’t, which is why he’s backtracking so heavily and trying to blame minor reshoots for any major incompatibilites lmao

the most important thing to keep in mind is just because a leaker got some elements right, it doesn’t logically follow that they’re right about everything, and odds are greater that they aren’t with how tight the script was on lockdown. particularly when their leaks are very heavily set piece-related which indicates their information is coming from crew somewhere, and the crew have no access to the script, only the pieces they worked on.

Don’t lose hope guys!

It’s been a while since I posted here ever but I’m gonna say this.  Reylos, take this alleged “Episode IX plot leak” with discernment.  It’s clear that JediPaxis either is faking stuff, or does indeed know stuff, but is framing it in a decisively pro-fanboy way, just like the original TLJ leaks framed the Kylo situation as “He killed Snoke, no redemption now! REYLOS FOUND DEAD IN MIAMI”.  The way this is written either is all speculation or might have something underneath but it is distorted to fit a certain fanboy “Luke saves us all” agenda.  I will note that with the exception of AT-AT Chat none of the big leakers are particuarly pro-Reylo.  Jason Ward only came around to Bendemption really recently while BespinBulletin is pro-Bendemption but very critical of Reylo and knee deep into fanboi culture.  There may be an effort to distort information, especialyl given the lack of focus on any character dynamics and side characters, and potentially mixing spec with facts and presenting a distorted reality where speculation is fact.

Furthermore, you guys honestly think that they’re killing off Kylo for good, when we have work after work and spin-off after spin-off involving Ben Solo as a cute baby and a comic series in the works by someone that wants to humanize him further and make us feel for him.  Even if this is true, it’s likely gonna be “Force ghosts save Ben and they kill Palps once and for all” sort of scenario that has been conspicuously ignored by this guy.

Wait, so now Jason is saying everything is different with these leaks. The absolute clownary. I’m starting to think he plantedfake leaks for everyone else and now he is coming through as the only one who really “knows”.

So, as I’ve been saying all along, have fun, don’t worry about the leaks, and if you want to know what’s actually happening in this movie, read your fav meta writers, support your fav fanfic writers/artists, hell! Even Reylo shitposts have gotten more right than these two chucklefucks.

And, for the love of all that is holy, stop letting these two ruin your time in fandom.

The leaks just keep getting better. The more clarification and details the better it sounds.

I was weirded out by Palpatine just being alive but after thinking about it it’s actually not that weird. He was really powerful and we’ve seen Jedi survive ridiculous stuff. Luke survived his fall in cloud city. I’m sure Palps got messed up falling into the reactor but I think it’s believable that he could’ve survived and escaped Death Star II before it blew.

I had a few months where I was a little nervous about TROS but I think my fears continue to be assuaged. I was worried in order to tie everything together Kylo might end up overshadowing Rey but luckily that sounds like it’s not the case. The worst possible thing would’ve been Rey ending up just being a plot device for his redemption, so whew, bullet dodged there lol.

Do you know the full or true story regarding John and the IX script which supposedly ended up on eBay? Is there any truth to that or did they just want to cover their basis since the movies leaked 4 months early? Was it just some bizarre marketing ploy? I seem to remember the reddit leaker (JediPaxis) started leaking the full movie in September 2019. I just hated that since it put the blame on John and it got asked in like every interview.

Can we talk about how jpraxis leaked the whole movie a loooooooong time ago and everything was correct apart of the kiss which indicates that is was a reshoot? And he even said so? He said there were re-shoots. So who the hell is he and why have they never been removed?

Funny though. When I heard about them I found them so ridiculous that it never crossed my mind that they would actually be true!

Why I find those leaks dubious is if the last Skywalker was meant to die, I was expecting his TROS arc to either be of a strong unrepentant villain who dies unredeemed or a tragic antihero who dies post-redemption after his sacrifice saves everyone. Both of these resolutions would have been POWERFUL and made him a memorable character. But he neither ends up being a proper villain nor a proper hero. He serves no real purpose and his dead uncle saves the day. What the fuck.

Even if the leaks were legit, they are incomplete, by OP’s own admission. The part about the final climatic fight against palpatine is probably the weakest of the entire leak, because there’s just NO WAY the set wasn’t under lockdown. I think anything we're gonna hear about it from now until at least late November will be either downright incorrect, or lacking crucial pieces of information. 

So let’s all calm down and stop obsessing over something that will likely be replaced by another dubious leak in two weeks and swiftly forgotten. Remember:

Kylo Ren is the flagship of Kathleen Kennedy and JJ Abrams’s Lucasfilm era. He’s the character this creative team put the greatest narrative effort on, their most original creation; easily the most iconic and debated aspect of the sequel trilogy. I’m 100% certain it’s in their best interest to give this character an appropriate endgame that does justice to his arc and makes the sequel trilogy (and the whole saga, actually) endlessly REWATCHABLE. (rewatchability is CRUCIAL for a franchise that intends to be immortal. I’m serious. It’s something that GoT essentially compromised, with Dany’s death.)

I cannot guarantee this means, with no margin of doubt, that he lives, but I can guarantee they will not half-ass his final scenes. Leaks be damned.

Disney is the most POWERFUL company in the world. Do you REALLY think they would let people like JediPaxis and JW giving the plot away like that without making them disappear? The ONLY script that got leaked have been John Boyega’s one. And it was bought by Disney before anyone could see it. They are extremely secret about their movies and they know EVERYTHING that’s happening in their company. Literally. Everything. So you can conclude that the leaks are not real. Remember too that Disney is famous for their Fairytales. Star Wars IS a fairytale. That’s confirmed by J.J. and for their happy endings. So guys, breathe, relax, Ben’s not going to die. Or at least he is going to be healed by Rey. Reylo is and will always be a thing. We are going to have more Reylo scenes in TROS than TLJ and TFA reunited! Think about all the marketing stuff about Reylo though. Did you see this with the previous films? No. Because there was only a little Reylo in the film. DID YOU SEE THAT EVERY MARKETING TV SPOT THING THAT WE HAVE IS REYLO. Even Sheev ships them. So relax, everything’s going to be fine.

JediPaxis new spoilers/leaks (from a source who has seen the movie, it seems):

SPOILERS about the most “interesting” parts:

-Palpatine is not really alive. It's pretty horrific in that he's basically a corpse-puppet on some sort of rigging, but he's able to speak through the body via his spirit. He's also "all the souls of the past Sith" in the body. Eventually, he manages to restore life to the body though. I can't recall if they directly mention how the body was still intact, but it was a sort of, horror-mad-scientist lab, so it might not be his original."

-During Kylo and Rey's duel on the Death Star wreckage, Rey is angrily fighting Kylo. We see her even force push Finn and Jannah out of the zone.

-This person says that Leia's final word is "Ben" which catches Kylo's attention and is what distracts him long enough for Rey to stab him through the abdomen and subsequently heal him.

-After Kylo is stabbed, Han shows up out of nowhere. "Not a force ghost, it’s as if he’s standing there alive again." He gives Kylo some words of encouragement and then their conversation very closely mirrors Han's death scene in TFA, including the "I know what I have to do but don't know if I have the strength to do it..." line. He even holds the lightsaber in the same spot but he turns and throws it into the watery wreckage of the Death Star

- Confirms that both Luke and Leia know Rey is a Palpatine yet choose to train her anyway.

- While Palpatine goading Rey into killing him he points out the fleet claiming she could become “Empress Palpatine”

- Palpatine apparently speaks about the bond they share and how extremely powerful and rare it is for it to occur. He then sucks their life to restore his and we see his white eyes turn the yellow/orange Sith style.

-Apparently Palpatine does in fact Ben into the ravine, claiming he is the last in the Skywalker line.Rey hears voices such as "Yoda, Luke, Leia, Mace Windu, and others" who give her the strength to stand up. Palpatine tries to lightning her but she blocks it with one of the sabers but it seemingly stalemates them. She then finds the strength to pull the other saber to her making an X formation and this allows her to deflect the lightning back toward him.

-Palpatine apparently disintegrates and explodes, causing the arena to crumble  but also killing Rey. Ben apparently climbs out of the pit finding a dead Rey and decides to give his life for her. He uses the healing trick to save Rey but draining his life force in the process. Then "there’s a weird fanfic moment where they kiss, and he dies."

- Rey didn't disassemble Anakin & Leia's lightsabers, she came to the moisture farm to bury them. She now has a black/grey handled lightsaber which she ignites to show a yellow blade. She and BB are the only ones present until a woman appears asking her name to which she says Rey. Rey who? Then, seeing Luke and Leia's ghosts in the distance replies Rey Skywalker as she clearly sees them as the parents she never was able to have. Rey and BB look off at the setting twin suns and the movie ends. I can't recall, but I believe D-O was there too."

Mh. Ok. I’m just so disappointed. I can’t believe it. How exactly does this end the saga better than ROTJ again? What the fuck was the point of the first 6 movies??

-Reylo fans are really happy? This is just a bittersweet ending. JJ is a troll. Ben is just Anakin V2. His story is a tragedy.

-Han is not a ghost but he's still...there. Whatever.

-There is no closure about Anakin/Vader and Ben. What was the point of Kylo worshipping his grandfather if there isn’t going to be a moment where Anakin tells him to get his shit together?

-The last Skywalker, pit or no pit, still die. "Emotional death"? I don't care.

-Palpatine's main goal is just for Rey to show up, literally kill him, and take over everything he built. And then he dies by his own refusal to stop shooting his own lightning.

-Anakin (the Chosen One and the central character of SW) is nowhere to be found.

-Rey PALPATINE is basically unstoppable because yes.

Rey Palpatine --> Rey Skywalker, when she literally had no positive connection/interaction with Luke

The plot of this movie is so bad that i'm sure that all of this is real. Yeah, i just need a break from Star Wars.

New footage of kylo finding palpatine. I’m waiting for jedipaxis to update his leaks to go with this whole scene. How long should we wait for that to happen since apparently he is always correct. Reylos were right palpatine has been mind fucking ben since the beginning.

To be fair, I never actually watched the new Star Trek films nor Lost pre-TFA (that changed since) - and I thought TFA was fine. My honest-to-God opinion was “Well, JJ has his problems/flaws, but I’ll take him over Trevorrow any day and he likes Kylo and he likes what Rian did with TLJ, so it should be okay.” 

Well, turns out he’s a liar who obviously didn’t learn his lesson post-Khan and that he’s openly jealous of Rian (LOL), and I still don’t know what the fuck even went wrong with Kylo (I have my theories about it but that’s a topic for another day). 

And to say everything, I was keeping quiet about it, but... I can’t pinpoint exactly when I started getting serious doubts about TROS, but in the last few months before it, I was like: “Heh, the film is probably going to be pretty basic but I think it’ll be decent. It can’t be as bad as JediPaxis’ leaks.” 

Well, turns out a NURSE leaked the entire film (aka the conclusion to a 40-year-old saga) on Reddit, MONTHS before it came out, and guess what? People hated it then and they still hate it now. 

Long story short, I didn’t expect Casablanca, let’s be real, but the problem is, TROS is bad EVEN BY JJ STANDARDS. Felicity had its problems but it wasn’t that bad. The first two Star Trek films sure weren’t perfect but they weren’t that bad - but then again, I haven’t really checked out any other Star Trek media so I’m really not the best person to talk about this. 

But I mean, whatever. I approached the whole thing based on my enjoyment of TFA but I realize now most of the heavy lifting was done by Lawrence Kasdan. *sigh*

So CNET just revealed that D-O was made by BB8 and this contradicts JediPaxis bs leaks because those leaks specify that the gang meet D-O on Occhi’s (?) ship...lmao He said nothing about BB8 building D-O and you know what’s his response to this reveal? “I’m obviously bias, but I'm not convinced that's accurate. I'd like to see some more evidence that this is the case before jumping on this bandwagon.” LMAO What a clown

You know what else is fucking hilarious? Joonas let it slip that Lando’s been taking care of Cloud City all this time during the Force Friday stuff. Which directly contradicts his “leaks” that say Lando’s been on Pasaana since Luke and he split there years and years ago. SO L O L.

Reylo Fam. I have been thinking about our boy Ben in the leaks very hard today and have come to the hopeful conclusion that if it is true that he dies, I believe that he will come back as Ben Solo. There is a possibility he will be resurrected. No one can prove anything until we see the movie. No matter how much JediPaxis or anyone else says these things about our boy, no one has 100% knowledge of the film and how it will go. The cast and crew can also shoot secretly. Don't lose hope!
