did dan wear sweatpants on stage last night? what goes on in their decision-making for these improvised stage outfits? phil going from his tit fit being the most flattering pants he's ever worn to wearing these giant baggy jeans at every aussie show. dan and first the pvc pants, now black joggers with big white strings. his sweater that doesn't remotely fit the tit color scheme (bc there are no clothes available for purchase in major australian cities, obviously). i feel like their m&g fits have been more on point than the stage fits. i'd just like to understand the thought process here

#my art#this is how I think theyd present themselves either in person or in headspace. the slouchers <3#sifs outfit is simple; the boots i always give them (but with star laces for funsies); loose sweater; simple pants#the pants are Meant to be jeans but isat doesnt Specifically Have Jeans so. theyre just Pants.#the sweater is slightly looser bc sif doesnt seem like a Form Fitting Clothes kinda guy to me but hes Trying to be more open#on particularly good days theyll roll the sleeves up or wear a sleeveless one methinks#even if everyone Knows abt the self-harm scars its hard to Look at them.#i also associate them being more open with them not wearing an eyepatch. esp bc hes the only one of the three to go without it#for mal (or 'ami' as i like to call it) i wanted smth reminiscent of a mourning outfit bc mal du pays means homesickness#and i picked 'ami' as a nickname bc ami means friend :] at least according to my basic translator. i dont speak french <3#ami's outfit being dark is also reminiscent of the inversion thing its got going on in canon.#ik the veil is starred in the original but i think ami would want the fewest reminders of home. on account of The Issues#(actually if i can come back to sifs laces sif also has issues with reminders of it bc of the memory loss but the shoelaces are His Choice—#—which gives them a form of control over it and they can keep it subtle or undo it if he wants. which makes it easier)#anyway. i put amis hair in an updo and smoothed the hat bc i think ami wants to be Unremarkable. Unknown. so it keeps its silhouette Simple#(it still keeps the pins. theres smth comforting abt them. they shine like stars and theyre not stars and theyre not Home. but theyre You.)#and i kept the long hair i gave loop. dont ask me why its so long when the canon hair is short. maybe their hair kept growing over the loop#OH and i drew ami in a side profile bc Silhouette and also bc i think itd make an effort to keep people away from its blind spot#andddd i think thats about it? plus i actually managed to keep this one within a reasonable timeframe.#if their hair changes lengths/the proportions change between drawings. no they dont 💛 peace and love and body craft#OH AND YOU FINALLY GET TO SEE WHAT I MEAN ABT SIFS BOOTS BC THESE ARE THE BOOTS I GAVE THEM ON MY REGULAR DESIGN ARENT THEY NEAT#i did actually try to give sif a different font but nothing Works for them like the pixel font. i cant explain it.#i think 'ami' would be a nickname that mira gives it. bc. shes Fantasy French. and its a sort of 'youre more than your yearning/loss' thing#me every time i think abt sifstem: yeah they just rotate in my head. nothing major#me every time i talk abt sifstem: oh hey im almost at tag limit again#au Good what can i say

so a bit of context in regards to my minecraft LoreTM: angels are things called out-of-bounders aka things that really shouldnt exist but for one reason or another do, other kinds of oobs are glitches (corrupted code come to life, ex: ashswag), homunculli (concentrated magic and code come together to create a living creature, often comes in the form of celestial bodies or similar due to higher chances of magic and code concentration in those areas, ex: zam), voidwalkers (eldritch creatures drenched in dark matter, pure magic concentration come to life, ex: half of what spoke is), and herobrines (corrupt duplicate player code come to life, usually takes form after a particularly code-stress heavy death, ex: herobrine) angels are the result of code corruption in pre-existing players and there's a 50% chance they turn nonexistent in the process with no way to get them back not even with respawn
ro used to be a regular human but all the wacky shit that happens in ls corrupted his code (unsure when yet) and he became an angel, it took around a week for ro to stop glitching out, needless to say mapicc was very relieved when his bestie didnt disappear into nonexistence
#mine.art#did you guys know that theres a hairstyle called snake braids#cause i didnt know that before making this and i think thats awesome#ive always struggled with how to design ro cause on one hand i didnt want to rely too heavily on snake symbolism#but on the other hand a lot of the themes he plays with are so incredibly abstract its kinda hard not to#but i think him wearing skinny jeans and a tunic fits with his whole dramatic history nerd who makes poop and dick jokes thing going on#his jeans are stitched instead of remaining stylishly ripped#cause of his whole 'keeps trying to turn back time but leaves scars along the way' thing going on#also hes got those ribbon things cause 1. my ro's regular design involves a Lot of ribbons 2. i Vaguely based his fit on toga praetexta#and 3. it kinda looks like a priest stole#and i gave him knee-length sneakers cause why not#also if i had a nickel for everytime i drew mapicc back hugging someone while holding their hand id have two nickels#and oot but clown is also an angel btw#he did that shit on purpose tho cause hes just like that#mape#ro

I've gained weight in the last 18 months and it's something I haven't even noticed until I went to put on a pair of old jeans and realized they didn't fit.
#look i get people hate jeans with stretchy material in them and want 100% denim#but if i didn't have stretchy jeans none of my jeans would fit me#none of my regular old jeans fit me#only the stretchy ones#which are the ones i wore any time i left the house over my year and a half of unemployment#because they're comfier than regular jeans#so i never even noticed that i was gaining weight

shout out to midsize people and people with wildly fluctuating weights trying to dress comfortably this summer they dont make it easy do they
#all of my jeans are either too tight to be comfortable in the heat or too oversized to be comfortable in the heat#the cheapest jean shorts i could find were skinny fit so i bought them 2 sizes up hoping i can make it work with a belt#all my tshirts are either baggy enough to wear without a binder but make me hot#or fitting enough to be okay in the heat but i need a binder. and binders make me BOILING#im too fat for regular clothes but not fat enough for plus sized clothes#not to mention mens size trousers are awful at being tight around my juicy child bearing hips#ahhhh!!!!!!#theres no winning
