So last weekend was the Connichi and I finally fulfilled my teenage dreams and cosplayed Veronica with my stunning girlfriend as my JD and really I am so happy with all of the pictures (can’t wait to share more) and it’s definitely a comfort cosplay! 🥰

How did you take the perfect picture and manage to look that deranged? Are you okay?

(in reference to the "lesbian JD from an all femme production of Heathers" cosplay)

i took way more than that!

i experimented with different distances, different kinds of messy hair, and tried to mix varying looks of contempt, fear, anger, confusion, and dread until i found the expression i likes the most.

here are some of my favorites i didnt use.

BY THE WAY THIS IS A BB GUN

with some silly ones too, for good measure. trying to look too edgy for too long when your heart is simply not like that is bad for your health i think.

side note: i straight up just dont have any other black clothes that are easy to take seriously, all the other ones have gamer shit on them. the red vox logo also looks like a target which i feel is thematically appropriate. my sincere apologies to my good close personal lifelong friend Vinny for attaching his band to this goofy ass costume.
