So last weekend was the Connichi and I finally fulfilled my teenage dreams and cosplayed Veronica with my stunning girlfriend as my JD and really I am so happy with all of the pictures (can’t wait to share more) and it’s definitely a comfort cosplay! 🥰

So basically I'm doing this thing where I make an effort with my appearance as much as possible because feeling good about the way you look (and good is different for everyone) is often a very important part of avoiding depressive spirals (which I am prone to). And I get free dopamine when I dress in outfits inspired by fictional characters I like, right? And today my mum is taking me into town so I can get a suit altered, and since I'm going out I want to look pretty and feel confident.

Now, yesterday I was walking home and I was thirsty so I stopped at a convenience store and bought some juice because it's real hot out and this country is normally cold, so we're not coping too well. So I bought a Mountain Dew and a Robinson's Squash. And then I noticed they were selling blueberry lemonade, so I bought a bottle of that too. And I wound up not drinking the lemonade yesterday so I have it to drink today. While I am all dressed up in a nice outfit inspired by a character before I go out.

This was completely unintentional because I actually forgot about the blueberry lemonade until I came down to get lunch, already dressed. But. I may have picked the funniest outfit possible to drink my blueberry lemonade in.
