Circus

There are quite a few differences between Chiro and Jasper, one of them being their opinion towards the circus.

Very lazy, but I realized I never showed Erick's mother, Eli, and yes Miles looked like a dork before Eli went missing

Miles and Eli had been together since they were teenagers, about 14-15, Miles being 14, Eli 15.

When they started their relationship, they knew exactly what they wanted.. a big house, family, and just overall a happy life. When they were 17-18, Eli had found Jasper in an alleyway, he wanted to keep the poor baby, and Miles said yes right away, they took care of the small one, and loved him dearly. Soon after they adopted Lazari and George.

They got married in their early 20s, then had Ava, and Erick a year after Ava.

Everything was perfect, everyone was happy, then.. August and Michael were born. When the twins were just toddlers, Miles and Eli started having fights over small stuff, wrecking the relationship bit by bit. Erick was the main reason. Miles was concerned that Erick would hurt the twins due to what he was born as. Dangerous entity. He still had dragon within him, and Eli helped him with it. Eli always shouted that they were stressed enough handling the toddlers and helping Erick how to handle his emotions.

One night they had another fight and went to bed angry... Miles had woken up and Eli wasn't there. Beside him where they had always slept. Everything of theirs was gone.. except the red hoodie they always loved wearing.. Lazari, and George were gone too. Miles regretted everything he'd done, and that soon turned to anger. Miles would mostly take his anger out on Jasper, so it was a normal thing for those two to have a screaming match in the middle of the day over something very small, such as chores.

Erick always blamed himself for his mom disappearing. He knew that he was dangerous. He always did his best to handle himself, to keep himself from hurting others but it was never enough. He never bothered to look for a job or continued school, he was drained. He was done with everything.. he wanted to go somewhere far but he didn't want to abandon the twins when no one would take care of them. Ava was always busy working, Jasper's always fighting with Miles.

Soon Miles met someone new, it didn't last though.. the only thing remained from that relationship was a child. Mylo, he wasn't supposed to be born but Miles didn't want to get rid of the baby. So now Erick has a new worry..

And yet again, Miles started seeing someone, but they never moved in, they also had kids together.. Spencer and Blake. They're still babies, but they live with their mom, so that's something good..?

Miles every now and then just breaks down sobbing, missing Eli, he always tried to replace them, but he just couldn't move on. He would go to Erick and just apologize to him for everything. He just wanted everything to go back to normal. He missed the old days where both him and Eli were just so deeply in love with each other.

But there was nothing he could do.

Carlisle - Of course Carlisle likes older movies. There's no real genre, but if it's in black and white then he's probably a fan. He really adores the classics, and some of his favorites are Citizen Kane, To Kill a Mockingbird, The Maltese Falcon.

Esme - Esme is such a sucker for romance of all kinds, but classic romance can bring her to her knees. She loves a bittersweet ending, and she is TOTALLY a hallmark Christmas movie mom. She was a die hard Casablanca fan and a year cannot pass without her watching It's A Wonderful Life at least four times. Anything that makes her heart ache, she adores.

Edward - This dramatic asshole. Claims that he really only likes inspirational foreign French films because of the ~drama~ but you know what??? he secretly watches romance movies with Esme, not that it's actually a secret because everyone already knows. Pretty Woman? Yes. 10 Things I Hate About You? Absolutely. If he had the ability to cry, he definitely would have after watching A Walk to Remember.

Rosalie - Rosalie likes sci-fi and fantasy movies. Labyrinth is a special favorite, though it might be because of her crush on David Bowie. She was surprised at how much she enjoyed The Shape of Water, but you're more likely going to find her watching something like Close Encounters of the Third Kind or The Princess Bride.

Emmett - Emmett dabbles in movies - he really likes a bit of everything. Drama, comedy, action, fantasy - he wouldn't say he actually has a favorite. He thinks comedy might take precedence; he's a huge fan of anything by Mel Brooks.

Jasper - He hates how stereotypical it is, but he loves Westerns. He's seen pretty much everything that John Wayne has ever been in. Really, anything to do with history will be ok for him to watch, though it took him a while to be comfortable with some of the Civil War era movies. Loves The Patriot and Braveheart, though he isn't a fan of Mel Gibson, and Black Beauty has a special place in his heart.

Alice - Alice likes all of those corny teen romance films, like Princess Diaries or She's the Man. She isn't sure why, but they really make her happy!! They're always so cute and quirky, she adores them so much.

Something that the team decided since they adopted Jasper is that they would take his safety seriously, and without having to isolate him from the world, they chose to take on secret identities, appearing to be normal humans thanks to devices that Otto and Gibson designed.

This way they could let Jasper grow and develop like a normal child, in addition to being able to keep an eye on him, being attentive to any signs of danger.

Stan’s Scrublands: Silver is currently filming in Western Australia

Stan and 9Network have revealed the first look images for Scrublands: Silver, the follow up to the 2023 series Scrublands.

Season two of the Australian drama series is currently shooting in Augusta, Western Australia, with actors Luke Arnold (Black Sails) and Bella Heathcote (Pieces of Her) returning to the principal roles.

Plotwise, Scrublands: Silver is set one year after the dramatic events of Scrublands. Based on Chris Hammer’s best-selling novel Silver, investigative journalist Martin Scarsden (Arnold) will return to his coastal hometown of Port Silver, WA, with partner Mandy Bond (Heathcote) in tow. But Martin’s homecoming takes a dark turn when he discovers his childhood friend Jasper has been murdered, and Mandy is the prime suspect. As Martin races to clear Mandy’s name, he will unearth buried secrets about Port Silver and his own past.

The ensemble cast includes Luke Carroll (The Artful Dodger), Debra Lawrance (Please Like Me), and Tasma Walton (The Twelve), among others.

Jasper has a ton of things in her closet for gags and jokes, but some of them are haven't been touched in a while either because it doesn't suit her type of humor after trying it out (such as ventriloquism) or she forgot about it after a while of mixing things up.
