Haha, guess who TOTALLY forgot to post this immediately after the other one?

Anyway, this here is one of my favorite things I've ever drawn! Since there were still a couple days hours of July left, I figured I would go through my mutuals' lists of OCs and try and wrangle as many disabled characters as I could for one big Disability Awareness Month piece! This was the last thing I made for Art Fight, and what a doozy it was to put together! I found a brush I liked to make the shadows of the tree's leaves, though I could have used it a little more effectively. I ran out of time in the end, so there's a lot of detail I never got to add on, like proper shadows and Cutie Marks.

The December Coup

December 1, 1989

The December Coup was the biggest coup to ever hit the Republic of the Philippines. Around 3,000 elite Philippine Marines, Scout Rangers, and other Armed Forces personnel took part in the coup that attempted to overthrow the administration at the time. In the initial day of the coup, rebel forces not only managed to secure armor and groudn attack aircraft, but also captured important military facilities. The National Capital Region and many of the surrounding areas thus became a battlefield for several days, as loyalist soldiers held their ground against the rebelious troops. In the end, government forces won, but not after heavy casualties and losses in equipment.

Hi my beautiful Belles, it's such an honor to present you with part 2 of "What do ikeprince suitors smell like? I absolutely loved and had so much fun doing the first part. So here is the promised second part, where we will discover the perfumes that the princes from Rhodolite are most likely to wear. This is not entirely accurate - it's only based on their routes information and the vibe each boy gives me.

The big bro, seductive womanizer and alcohol lover definitely smells like seduction and playfulness with a mature vibe. I'm sensing some kind of citrusy freshness along with some spices on top of a woody warm bed.

He's the life of the party. We've all been charmed by him at any point in the series, don't you dare denying it. Yes, he is traumatized, but so are we. He is dazzling and fresh like a summer breeze, sweet and funny like an ice cream.

Thousands of Greenland's crystal-clear blue lakes have turned a murky brown thanks to global warming — and the worst part is that they've started emitting carbon dioxide. Record heat and rain in 2022 pushed the lakes of West Greenland past a tipping point, so rather than absorbing carbon dioxide (CO₂), they began to emit it into the atmosphere, according to a new study. The changes began in fall, which is normally a snowy time for Greenland. However, heat waves turned snow into rain and thawed the island's permafrost — frozen ground that stores carbon, iron and other elements. The rains then washed these elements into lakes, turning them brown. Less sunlight was able to penetrate the lakes as they darkened, which had a ripple effect on the microscopic plankton living in the water. The number of plankton absorbing CO₂ through photosynthesis — the process of turning sunlight into energy — declined, while the amount of plankton breaking down and releasing carbon increased, according to a statement released by the University of Maine. The lakes normally absorb CO₂ in the summer, but by the following year they had flipped to become carbon dioxide producers. These types of widespread changes would normally take centuries. Researchers have observed the browning of lakes across the Northern Hemisphere, including the U.S., but it typically takes multiple decades — much longer than the transformation of Greenland's lakes. "The magnitude of this and the rate of change were unprecedented," study lead author Jasmine Saros, a professor of paleolimnology and lake ecology at the University of Maine, said in the statement. The researchers published their findings Tuesday (Jan. 21) in the journal PNAS. In the fall of 2022, an atmospheric circulation pattern —the large scale movement of air — and a hurricane connected a series of atmospheric rivers from the subtropical and mid-latitude Atlantic to Greenland, according to the Copernicus Climate Change Service, which is part of the European Union's Earth Observation Programme. Atmospheric rivers are long, narrow regions of the atmosphere that transport heat and water vapor. Climate models predict that atmospheric river activity is likely to generally become more frequent, intense, and longer-lasting around the world with global warming. In 2022, the rivers brought Greenland record heat that was more than 14 degrees Fahrenheit (8 degrees Celsius) warmer than the monthly average in some areas. Researchers estimated that 7,500 lakes turned brown and began emitting carbon after the fall. But the emissions weren't the only concern for scientists: these lakes also provide residents of Greenland with drinking water, which could be compromised by the change

Old timber windows ~ often disused, left in a skip, at the side of the road or advertised on free cycle sites!

These make a great cold frame for growing your lovely organic foods ~ a complimentary mini greenhouse 🎉🥕

Very often soil and timber are also given away for free.

Your only financial outlay maybe a few screws, hinges and organic seeds then hey presto a weekend project will yield a happier you and food too 🥕🌿🎉

Cardboard egg cartons, toilet paper rolls, kitchen paper rolls ~ ideal for growing seeds 🌿

Fill the rolls with compost and place in the egg carton,

Sow the seeds directly into each roll, water and allow to germinate,

Ideally maintain a temperature of 18 degrees Celsius/ 64 degrees Fahrenheit,

As soon as the seedlings have germinated and are ready to plant out, the rolls can be planted directly into the soil and they will biodegrade, the carton can also be either reused or planted into the soil too 🎉🌿🥕🍒🍓

Go natural ~ make your own 🌴🪥😬

TOFF tips:-

Toothpaste ~

2 tablespoons of coconut oil

1 tablespoon of baking soda

6 drops of peppermint oil

6 drops of lemon oil

6 drops of teatree oil

Mix well, into a paste and place in a recycled, steralised dry jar with a lid 🙌🪥😬

Deodorant ~

500 ml bicarbonate of soda

500 ml potato flour / cornflour

500ml coconut oil

5-10 drops of your favourite essential oil......our favourite is Jasmine 🌸

Mix all the ingredients together, if the coconut oil is hard, melt it over a waterbath. Place in a recycled steralised jar with a lid, apply using a reusable cloth cotton pad or reusable spatula 🥥 🌸

Malabares de Cavite

In 1763, to help resist British Army forces that occupied Manila and Cavite Puerto, the Spanish Army in the Philippines formed the Malabares de Cavite. Organized as an infantry company, they would serve under the Spanish Colonial Government even after the British withdrawal from Manila. For decades to come they would bolster the small regular garrison of Manila and Cavite Puerto.

However, in 1796, the company would be disbanded. To take up its place, larger military formations were created, such as the Luzon Grenadiers Regiment and the Batangas Grenadiers Regiment (Although, given the lack of arms most militia units had at the time, these two formations are most likely grenadiers in name only).
