And here I find myself again, circling back to the same basic thoughts about this arc that really only stretched itself out to about double what I and most others predicted. You get my angle right? While the world's watching, while the fandom's watching someone not named Nico Robin give a little nuggie of Void Century lore...200 chapters after Bakura Town, 100 after Kiku's fall, in a chapter after one with a folk lore allusion title. Stussy breaks the seal. Speaking more or less the same trauma. It's even the same central idea of Wano; ensuring the Straw Hat's escape was Stella's final command. It all runs on that old school Japanese take on ideal feminity; "A woman's happiness is taking care of those she loves." Self-sacrifice to repay kindness towards you.

Bonney has so much to compare and contrast, you're a solid candidate for someone who could kinda fuse Kiku & Yamato, but Stussy? You're our Tamataebako buddy with the same eyes. A trans woman and a clone, can't say it isn't relatable and they both have a demonic facade without an ounce of action girl tomboy tropes. Stussy can nab that torch now just like Bonney could have. But you still exist in that space. Why are we doing you now, after the others? We still have cards unplayed from Wano. When their theme is subtlety one should expect waiting until the final phase.

This chapter gives me a lot that has me excited.

We have a whole theme this chapter of people responding again and doubling down on the idea these different faces we know are reacting differently to Vegapunk's speech. Things different fans are reacting to. Wano the Joyboy lore, Carrot the weaponry, but it's one of those simple tricks that fuel a big deception. None of it is really that much deeper than clarifying what we as readers sorta knew. Of course, for Wano...it isn't the full group but we see a group. It'd make perfect sense for Kiku to be smiling and holding a tray with the implication she brought the dango, she could appear any example of this cover serial...but this is how you have to look at things when strategic absence is an established motif. Oh, and I guess Shino just got to stay youthful. Rock on mature woman, enjoy it.

The world is merely learning more or less what we know. The real story is still playing out. Stussy, the escape, this time we aren't breaking away. It's almost like a good rap track where the first two verses are smooth and melodic leading into a rapid-fire third verse to really hammer the message. I think we'll stick with that as the message unfolds. But this arc has just enough gas it's the opening act not the final point in and of itself. What makes me feel confident this time? Glad you asked:

Nojiko caring more about the farm bolsters this and her alone would have me freaking the fuck out but...bruh. Miss Goldenweek? Goldie!? Marianne and her hilarious in hindsight apple hat? Peep the suitcase, they're leaving to find Cross Guild. But yeah! Miss Friggin Goldenweek and Nojiko have an interesting response to this worldwide message. I love it too. They don't really seem to care much. Nami's big sister and a mellow girl that was one of Luffy's most vexing opponents. She got a cover serial, this little lady was always an oddball waiting to surprise us. For now though this is dope. Don't let her demeanor fool you, she was clearly a top agent for a reason and the reasons really aren't that different than the archetype I see out of Kiku.

What specifically does it though is how she's paired with the reaction focusing on the common people killed as collateral damage. Now let's take it altogether. Because something else going on under the message brings us back to where this felt most powerful:

Uh-oh. The big cloud layer is under attack. The Elbaf ship is getting surrounded. What if they weren't enough? For all the talk about other stuff that could happen if the Giants are the penultimate surprise addition...is it just gonna be the Grand Fleet after all? They make so much sense big picture. Robonosuke is still hanging around at the edge of all this too. Because things are getting dire on Egghead underneath the lore dump.

All in all...I love this shit right now because it's exactly what I've been on about since Wano ended. Wall to wall this chapter. 1115 is a straight banger.

This post will explain my Senpai fanon timeline/story.

(This art is old, but it works for the explanation.)

LAST UPDATED: 7/11/24

In this fanon timeline, a lot of the aspects of the story are reflective of the canon events in FNF week 6, with a few changes.

Senpai is an AI inside of a video game called "Hating Simulator", Hating Sim for short. The main protag is Senpai, a student at the japanese-inspired school Hating Sim takes place.

Typically, Senpai would have no conscious as he would be just another AI in a video game, but this is not the case. When Daddy Dearest was upset over his daughter dating a boy, he trapped his demon soul in her copy of Hating Sim, never telling her.

The soul, or commonly known as just Spirit, needed a host body to take over, so takes over Senpai's AI. Senpai is initially was unaware of this change, until he found out a few things...

When the game day ends, he would no longer stand as idle source code in the game. He is aware of the day after, and remembers everything that occurred the day before.

After the day ends, the game resets entirely to how everything was at the initial start of the game.

He asks other AI (AKA, other characters) about the change and why he remembers everything, but each start of the day, the others will not understand what he's referring to.

When Senpai is extremely angry/upset, he will transform into a demonic-looking flame and lose control of himself. While the Spirit does not interact as a separate entity, it boosts Senpai's abilities in a few ways.

Senpai spends years with these changes, enduring every reset of the game. Up until two foreign visitors enter the game known as Boyfriend and Girlfriend. Senpai does not remember GF, but his Spirit would.

The usual events of week 6 play out where Senpai tries to charm GF and swoon her attention, has a rap battle with BF, and loses to him each time. After a wave of frustration, his body contorts and reveals his Spirit Form. He threatens to take the place to trade places with BF; BF stuck in the video game, and himself let into the real world.

[In game dialogue from Spirit:]

SPIRIT: "Direct contact with real humans, after being trapped in here for so long... and HER of all people. I'll make her father pay for what he's done to me and all the others.... I'll beat you and make you take my place. You don't mind your bodies being borrowed right? It's only fair..."

In this interpretation of the events played however, Spirit succeeds and escapes into the real world, taking the form of Senpai in a physical, non-digital body.

He leaves the couple in the game, and flees before anyone catches notice of his actions.

1. My Beautiful Dark Twisted Fantasy (Favourite song: Devil in a New Dress)

My favourite of all time. It has my favourite Kanye song of all time, every feature hits, and it has some of Kanye's highest points (Power, Runaway and All of the Lights). The production is gorgeous (no pun intended) and the rock influence goes so hard. Rap songs with guitar are so good.

2. Yeezus (Favourite song: New Slaves)

I really can't believe people didn't like this when it released. Maybe it's just because I like loud disruptive music, but I love Yeezus' industrial sound. Also really good are On Sight and New Slaves' break from the more chaotic/heavy sound to clear vocals. The outro of New Slaves is one of the best moments in a Kanye song for me, and Frank Ocean helps with it a lot. Bound 2 is also an incredible closer, so nostalgic.

3. Ye (Favourite song: Violent Crimes)

I'm actually listening to this one right now as I type this. It's short, and sweet in how personal it is. The raw honesty in some songs like I Thought About Killing You is fairly relatable to me, and Violent Crimes makes me cry a fair bit. Also such a good finisher, so contemplative and honest and full of love.

4. Graduation (Favourite song: Flashing Lights)

Obligatory "But he made Graduation!!!" joke. This one makes me feel like I'm walking on clouds, and also makes me want to buy the Japanese cd so I can listen to Bittersweet Poetry. So incredibly magical and if the "Old Kanye" had to go, I'm so glad he went with this album.

5. The Life of Pablo (Favourite song: Ultralight Beam)

My first Kanye album I listened to in full! I have good memories of it just for that. Father Stretch My Hands pt 1's beat drop solidified my love for producer tags (thank you Metro), and Sampha's feature on Saint Pablo is an absolute highlight. Also Frank Ocean gets an entire mini song to himself. Peak.

6. Donda + Deluxe (Favourite song: Hurricane, if deluxe, Life of the Party)

I didn't think much of it at first, but after several relistens, I truly believe this should've been his final album(s). While a bit bloated at times (was so many part 2s necessary..?), it was still a fitting tribute to Donda West and his songs more focused on her tug on my heart really bad.

7. The College Dropout (Favourite song: Slow Jamz)

It feels blasmephous to put something so good so low but I like the others so much! This is literally just a classic album, what can I say about TCD that hasn't already been said? Also I love the Kanye bear (more so in his later forms but he was introduced here!)

8. Late Registration (Favourite song: Diamonds from Sierra Leone)

Another one I feel bad for ranking so low! I just don't have a lot to say about it... Late Orchestration is banger tho

9. 808s & Heartbreak (Favourite song: Love Lockdown)

I just don't have much to say about this one? Between the 3 albums that marked a jarring shift in Kanye's sound, this one sticks out the least to me ;_; I do still like it a lot tho!

10. Jesus is King (Favourite song: Use this Gospel)

Ahhh, I'm bitter over this one. Yandhi is my favourite unreleased album, so this just feels like a pale imitation of what could've probably been top 3 Kanye for me. Hell, I prefer Use this Gospel's original form, Law of Attraction, more than its JIK form.

Eiji Mizoguchi, also known as MC KRATOS, is the third member of the Aichi division group, CLOUD 9. He is a student with Japanese and African-American blood, who spends his time listening to music and avoiding others, due to bullying he suffered in his childhood.

He lived part of his life in America, where he became infected with the music of the Bronxs, which was a major influence in his current rap style, along with other genres such as pop and rock.

Eiji doesn't talk much in front of people he doesn´t know and tends to select the people he chooses to confide in. This makes him look like a somewhat strange person, however, when it comes to rapping he transforms into a beast. KRATOS is related to the personification of strength, which is very characteristic of Eiji.

Appearance

Eiji has navy blue dreadlocks with blond tips. He tends to tie it up in a small bun. He has electric green eyes.

He dresses in baggy, shabby clothes, as he considers it an essential part of his aesthetic. He wears a purple sweatshirt with holes in it and baggy pants with eye motifs on top. He also wears lots of piercings and chains.

Still Vernon! Regardless of his looks, I just really admire his artistry. He's a great lyricist and producer and he always adds a lot of personality to his verses on rap songs. Plus, his dancing is insane.

That's very hard. At the top of my head: "Ready To Love", "To you", "Rock With You", "Crush", "Anyone", "March", "Heaven's Cloud", "Fire", "Yawn", . . .

favourite mv:

I don't feel a particular attachment to MVs, but "Rock With You" MV was impactful and really fit the vibe of the song. (the MV for "Fear" is perfect as well, but not necessarily my favourite) For their Japanese tracks, I really like "Ima- if the world ends tomorrow" MV because it really highlighted their love for each other.

Attaca. No competition. I don't know what kind of drugs they put in Attaca, but it was so good. Close second goes to FML, simply for the fact of what that album means to Seventeen and the impact it made on the industry and audiences. The awards sweep. It really was incredible.

favourite choreography:

"Super" ; it's so grand with the 200 dancers. And the team of choreographers really made all the members stand out in their respective parts, letting them all appear strong and powerful. It doesn't matter how many times I view a performance, Woozi getting lifted in the air still GETS to me.

By now, they've all kind of lost their cutesy features, but I think Seungkwan endears me the most. I have a real soft spot for him.

While they're all great vocalists with their own tone and colour, it has to go to DK. The resonance and richness that he possesses when he sings... it's unmatched.

That has to go to Hoshi. He gives me chills sometimes with how precise he is in the way he moves, and the energy he has when he's onstage. He becomes a monster. It's incredible.

I prefer Seungcheol's tone, but I like Vernon's verses more.

I think it's weird they're ambassadors for UNESCO. As well-intentioned as it is, you can't say k-pop doesn't mingle with politics and then make a k-pop group a UNESCO ambassador. They're inherently censored and cannot truly, authentically, fulfil their role. And that's my take 😅

Kazuki Shimizu is the half-blooded son of the technology consultant that travels the world, Hayato Shimizu, and his mother Angelica Campbell. His parents had met in America, where Mr. Shimizu had stayed for a slightly extended business trip due to complications in the office. 2. The lyrics here are just "BURU PURA" in katakana. I think they mean "blue planet", but I can't be sure. Rap lyrics tend to be creative and hard to decipher.

3. The kanji used here are 點線. I'd expect 点線 instead, because this combination means "dotted line". Not sure why they chose the obscure kanji.
