Here’s everything I bought at Japancon! A lot of it is Love Live cause that was my biggest goal for this con, since I didn’t have much Love Live merch yet. 

A lot of the Love Live stuff actually came from a surprise bag. Some of it seems to be fan-art, so unofficial, but I’m still happy to have some. I also couldn’t find anything Aqours related outside of figures unfortunately(though one of the posters from the surprise bag was of Aqours). But now I do finally have a Rin figure, and my total You figures is now at four! 

The other stuff is some Pokemon stuff, an alpaca, a volume of the Haikyuu manga, and a figure of Discord from My Little Pony. Also the alpaca and the Love Live surprise bag were gifts because this was kind of a birthday trip(my bday is november 8th).

JAPANCON - Samen met mijn zus ben ik naar Japancon geweest. Japancon is een conventie waar ze de Aziatische popcultuur naar Brussel (japaconcon kan ook in Antwerpen zijn). Het was een last-minute trip. Ik had gepland om met andere mensen naar Japancon te gaan maar die hadden andere plannen...dus ben ik maar met mijn zus geweest. Dit was pas de 2de edidtie van Japancon dus het was nog niet zo groot. Het evenement was georganiseerd in tour&taxi.  

Het eerst wat ik zag toen ik in Japancon was een alien. (van een anime serie blijkbaar). Wij hebbe ge-high fived (jeej was totaal niet eng). Japancon was heel leuk, interessant. Er waren veel mensen in cosplay, sommige waren echt speciaal. Er waren kleine kraampjes met verschillende japanse dingen. Ook waren er veel kraampjes met merch van de Kpop groep BTS.

Wat mij verwonderde was dat er keiveel ‘oudere’ mensen waren, ni de leeftijd da je verwacht op zo’n conventie.

Japancon was een heel leuke ervaring. Ik heb wel geen idee of ik het ooit opnieuw zou doen.
