A strange thought came to me.
If Kaiju No. 8 were related to sea creatures (Most of which seem to come from the sea??) Japan and the sea… Kafka has kaiju powers?? (From the fact that Kaiju number 8 Let Kafka eat it.) Kaiju No. 9 once ate a human and transformed into that human. In the manga there is Isao and samurai and Onmyojin ?? I saw someone speculate on Theory as to whether Kafka is half kaiju (before Number 8 had Kafka eat it and Number 8's "I Found You"). If "Kafka" and the number 8 are connected by the word "I found you" and Number 8 wants to "kill kaiju". If actually Number 8 used to be a human who was a kaiju (I think from the samurai Kafka saw) And Japan has a legend. Eat mermaid meat and become immortal. If we change to Eat the flesh of mermaids (kaiju) and become immortal instead. So, did something happen like it happened in Kafka's world?? Maybe I'm going crazy myself, but hey, it's fun.

[Legend of Zelda]: Tears of the Kingdom - MODERN AU
The TotK Cast as winter tourists in Kyoto! This is an updated version of an earlier artwork I made for a blog post I wrote for the Zelda Creators website! It relates to my holiday experience in Kyoto earlier this year and seeing the inspirations for both BotW / TotK while wandering around the city.
You can find the blog post here: [link]. It includes photos I took from my holiday there.
.
BONUS: original version.

You ever think about how 03 Splinter literally didn’t have to stay in third earth New York? Like, he knew how to make a portal to travel to the Nexus, was sit-at-my-right-hand level of friends with the Diaymo. It feels like he literally could have rolled up shortly after mutation, said “Hey Bro, this wild thing happened and I need a place to go where me and my brood won’t be dissected if caught”.
I reason it is because Splinter is too wildly polite that he couldn’t force himself to impose on his friend like that. Or by the time it occurred to him, they were kind of already settled as a family and it felt more disruptive to try and move. It’s just something I think about sometimes.

👋 I want to say your art is very great, and your Link and Midna drawings are cute and sweet. Also, I like the pairing because I'm short for a guy, and seeing a tall queen like Midna be affectionate with Link heals my soul.
