So glad the movie gods are listening! They’re actually bringing back peak J-horror - no CGI, just excellent practical effects combined with the bleakness and eeriness reminiscent of Koji Shiraishi and Kiyoshi Kurosawa’s styles from the ’90s and early 2000s. I’ve only seen the teaser so far, but I’m already excited! So many horror authors, like Junji Ito, Kurumu Akumu, Kawakami Juoku, and Matono Anji, have even praised and promoted this movie on X.

New Project Announcement: Tenshi no Saezuri

New year, new series! Don’t worry, I’m still working on my other projects. I just felt like branching out to work on more series instead of just anthologies. Hope you enjoy this one - it's a manga adaptation of Yusuke Kishi's novel (he's known for The Black House and Lesson of the Evil). This is illustrated by Sakuzo Baku.

Synopsis: Sanae Kitajima is a psychiatrist specializing in end-of-life care.
