So I finally decided to read Scary Campus College University thanks to your caps (I held off because I'm sick to death of sexual violence in horror manga) and it was so worth it. Holy shit. I love how the artist draws ghosts, and the overall story. And that TWIST!

Very good recc, 10/10

I love this manga too, and I’m still so bummed it got cancelled - you could really tell there was more story to tell. And I totally get you on the SV, I’m not a fan of those either (it doesn't help that the story started off with that). I was worried at first, but thankfully it didn’t go overboard later on. I like the characters (especially Makube) and the ghost designs alone definitely make it worth the read!

Much as I appreciate VIZ for publishing a lot of Junji Ito, I didn't like some of their translations cause they didn't hit as hard. Just the panels below illustrate my point.

I get it, censorship and all that, and maybe VIZ’s version is technically more accurate, but seriously - a little cursing in a horror manga won’t hurt anyone, right? Considering the target audience? But hey, maybe that's just me.

Also, I am not even gonna speak about the abysmal anime version. It's not just as intense.
