I have now developed a headcanon that Data gets drunk the same way Janet from "The Good Place" does,

If you do not know her then I shall explain...

Spoilers ahead for The Good Place and TNG potentially

Janet gets drunk off of magnets, they interfere with her processing, Janet is actually rather similar to Data. Both are databases of boundless knowledge, both are said to have no feelings (but really they do), both are referred to by others as robots but aren't really, both are androgynous/agender but use binary pronouns.

Anyway, I love both. Therefore I propose that Data gets drunk off magnets too, I just think it'd be pretty funny having Geordi or Riker or someone just stick a fridge magnet on him for safe keeping and then he just gets all loopy.

Like Geordi just sticks a fridge magnet of Kermit the frog or something on his head and then Data starts being like, "What.. what is happening to me, I seem to be forgetting parts of my code, you know what, Geordi, let's go on an adventure!! We're gonna have a slumber party!!!"

Everyone is wondering why he's so weird so they take him to sickbay and Crusher just takes the magnet off and Data is confused as to what happened and why everyone is so concerned.
