Tis officially 2024! Happy new year from me and Kira!

2023 was a good year for me, all things considered. I have a permanent job that I don’t hate, and in general it feels like I'm finally getting my life together, even if the rest of the world seems to be falling apart. C'est la view, I guess.

Favourite things from 2023:

Films: It's between Oppenheimer and Killers of the Flower Moon. Both great movies by masters of the craft.

Games: Haven't played much of the year's big games yet, but my favourite that I played for the first time this year is Resident Evil Village.

TV: Doctor Who is back! Davies may not have been the most forward looking choice for a new showrunner, but I can't argue that he wasn't the best.

Other: I still have a big backlog of figures to get and kits to build, but I've got the whole year to deal with that.
