Thirteen.

You grabbed the spare key Taehyung had given you, unlocking his door and letting yourself inside his apartment. Taehyung was putting in mandatory overtime at work and told you that you could wait for him at his apartment since the heater at your own apartment had stopped working. You made yourself comfortable on the familiar couch, flipping on the TV and searching through the channels in an attempt to entertain yourself. Nothing good was on no matter how many channels you checked, so you sighed and decided to clean up a little for him in thanks for letting you use his apartment while he was gone. You washed a couple of dirty dishes left from the morning, wiped off the counters, and watered his plants.

You accidentally spilled some water while trying to reach one of the higher hanging plants, frowning to yourself at the mess. You looked around for the mop, but didn’t see it in the open, so you went searching for a closet where it might have been kept. You checked the hall closet, the bathroom, and his bedroom, but couldn’t find it. You glanced over towards the spare bedroom, which you’d never actually seen. Taehyung made it a point to avoid that area when you were over and you never really questioned why. Maybe it was messy and he was embarrassed?

You shrugged, walking over and turning the handle. When you stepped inside, your whole world changed. Your breath caught in your throat at the vision before you. The room was dark, but the light from the computer screen illuminated the space just enough for you to see the conspiracy board on the far wall, littered with pictures of you. Pictures you knew you hadn’t given to Taehyung; pictures you hadn’t even taken. You flipped the light switch on and walked up to the board, looking at all the items tacked to it.

There were screenshots of conversations you’d had with other men, snaps you’d sent to Young-Jae, pictures of him with his car broken down, hands thrown up in the air. Printouts of Sung-Ho’s social media passwords and the screenshots of his cheating conversations. Baek-Hyun being cornered by that woman from the cheating photos, looking confused and trying to get away. All of these misfortunes in your love life… were because of Taehyung? He had sabotaged you? Why?

There were multiple nude photos of you that you hadn’t given him, ones screenshotted from your snapchat, some seemingly taken from your bookshelf? Had Taehyung bugged your apartment?! Your gaze drifted over to the computer screen, an icon blinking orange on the bottom row. You walked over and clicked on it, a live video feed of your bedroom coming into view. You gasped. You looked in the bottom corner, noticing an option for multiview and clicked on it. Video feeds from every room in your house flooded the screen and made you feel dizzy.

What the fuck was happening? Your boyfriend was stalking you? He was crazy? You felt like you were going to be sick. The one man you had finally let in, finally trusted with your entire heart and he was a fucking psychopath! A modern day Ted Bundy! Oh shit, was he going to kill you? No, he loved you… right? Surely he wouldn’t harm you, he wasn’t dangerous…

You heard the lock turn on the front door and your stomach dropped. Taehyung was home.

“Babe? Where are yo- Y/N?!”

You panicked, but you were frozen, your heart thundering in your chest but your legs refused to move, rooted in their spot on Taehyung’s lush carpet. Taehyung rounded the corner, entering the room with wide eyes and a heaving chest.

“Y/N, what are you doing in here? It’s… it’s not what it looks like!”

He took a step toward you and you immediately stepped back, your body chilled with terror. You couldn’t help but let out a petrified whimper and you saw Taehyung’s eyes soften. He reached out a hand and you flinched, tripping over his computer chair to put space between the two of you, but all you had really done was cage yourself farther into the room. Your eyes darted around for an escape but found none.

“Please, just listen to me, okay?”

“Taehyung…” your voice sounded small and broken, even to your own ears, “Tae, what is all of this?”

Taehyung was visibly stressed, posture rigid and hands balled into fists before he ran them through his hair, tugging at it in his stressed state.

“This isn’t how I planned it, you weren’t supposed to find out. Not like this. I just… I wanted to protect you, okay? Those guys, they weren’t good for you. They didn't deserve you. They just wanted to use you, baby. They wanted to fuck you and throw you away, and you deserve so much better than that,” he began, starting to shake and took a step toward you.

You wanted to step away, but with how riled up he was getting and unsure of how violent he could turn, you decided it was best not to poke the bear so you let him gently take both of your hands in his own larger ones and looked into his pleading eyes, your heart melting if only slightly.

“I knew I could treat you better, I could keep you safe. They don't know you, not like I do. They don’t understand you, but I do. I understand you, Y/N. I’ve been there for you. Aren’t you happy? Don’t you want me?”

You opened your mouth but immediately shut it again, words unable to form. Taehyung’s grip on you tightened in desperation and you whimpered, cowering away from him slightly which made him immediately loosen his grip and wrap his arms around you instead. You shivered.

“I’m sorry baby, you know I would never hurt you, right? I love you,” he pulled away just enough to look into your eyes, “you understand that, don’t you? That I was just trying to protect you? Make you happy?”

He looked so desperate, so scared, so broken that you almost forgot about how disgusting his actions were. You were happy in your relationship… until now. Now, you were confused, hurt, scared… Something was wrong with him, he needed help. Should you try to escape? Or play it cool and try to get him professional help? Your mind was reeling with all the possibilities.

“I… I don’t…”

Taehyung dropped to his knees in front of you, bowing as low as he could and kissing the tops of your feet as he began sobbing.

“Please, I’m sorry! Please don’t leave me. I need you!”

His entire body was visibly shaking and you were at a loss of what to do. Your heart ached for him, the Taehyung that you knew. The sweet, caring, passionate man who’d made you his priority and treated you like a queen. The soft, hard-working, dutiful boyfriend you’d come to know and love. You were torn between which Taehyung was the real Taehyung. Maybe both? What he did was fucked up… but he had good intentions… right?

You sighed and crouched down into a squat, gently slipping your fingers under his chin to encourage him to raise his head. He looked pitiful, harmless. You looked into his red, bloodshot eyes, tears still flowing freely as he hiccupped quietly. He waited with bated breath, his eyes searching yours for any indication of forgiveness or patience or anything that would give him a second chance. You ran your thumb across his cheek tenderly, collecting his tears and swiping them away. Taehyung flew into your arms with the small act of mercy, sobbing into your shoulder and holding you as tightly as he could without causing you harm.

“I’m sorry, baby. I’m so so sorry,” he sobbed.

You rubbed his back quietly, unsure of what to say, or maybe unable to say anything at all. Your heart softened with his display of desperation. You probably shouldn’t, but you kind of understood where he was coming from, though his tactics were completely not okay. You’d save that discussion for another day. For now, you held your sobbing boyfriend to your chest, softly stroking his hair in an effort to calm his racing heart, ignoring your own heart pounding in your chest and the way your stomach sank, your eyes flickering around the room to all the images of the men he’d destroyed in his bid to get to you.

EA Sports FC 24: conheça as indicações ao Time do Ano

Os indicados ao Time do Ano, o famoso TOTY, de EA Sports FC 24 estão aqui. Neste domingo, foram revelados os jogadores escolhidos para a votação , que definirá os 11 titulares da aguardada seleção do Ultimate Team.

Alguns brasileiros estão na disputa: Alisson, Ederson, Dante, Marquinhos, Bremer, Bruno Guimarães e Vini Jr. E a novidade é que uma relação TOTY de mulheres também foi feita, seguindo estes mesmos moldes de indicadas em enquetes para a comunidade decidir as melhores. Entre elas, estão Debinha e Kerolin.

Após o término da votação, os vencedores ganharão cartas especiais (e bem roubadinhas), que serão disponibilizadas em packs. A EA também deve fazer DMEs especiais com outros jogadores e ICONs.
