JADE Origin Story - a Call of Duty OC Short Comic (PART 1)
Warning : violence, blood and gore.
This comic was made for my final assignment for a comics class I attend for college. Since the theme is free, I decided to make a comic about Jade! It's not an origin story per se 💀 It's basically a showcase of my technical skills in drawing, paneling, and comic-making in general. With the time I had I only managed to finish 12 pages, but I'm proud of every single page! It features the story of when Jade was still in MI6 and a glimpse of what she did as a black agent; how she got things done back then and what her motivation was.
Have a look and hope you love it! 🥰🌹

congrats on tmdg's first anniversay! where art thy (im still learning basic of this.. my head's whirlin) eel babies. they have insane parents. one is delulu, one is a manipulative psycho who indulges on the delulu. what a match in ocean.
THE TWINS!!!! Because of course that slimy eel gets what he wants and you end up having twins by some miraculous stroke of bad/good luck. I can only imagine Jade accompanying you to the infirmary and they tell you you’re pregnant, and you’re like “well, at least it’s just one baby.” Only for the nurse to say, “Actually…” and show you it’s twins LOL.
Either delulu darling is very excited because omg she’s having twins with Floyd, or she suspects they’re Jade’s after that time in the ocean and she’s having him lean down so she can strangle him. T_T knowing Jade, he’s enjoying every minute of this chaos. But also,,, he’s immensely proud and pleased to be able to boast about having twins with you. Mama and Papa Leech are in for a surprise when they learn of Jade’s not-girlfriend who is pregnant with twins… orz the messiest situationship you ever did see,,, ^^;;;
Those babies will be spoiled rotten and doted on so very much. They will be loved beyond measure. >w< and Floyd is excited to be an uncle, but Jade keeps him at tail’s length because if his kids start calling Floyd ‘papa’ he might actually lose his mind. T_T all of his hard work playing the most dangerous long game for it to fall apart when the babies recognize Floyd as their father. </3
#twisted chit chat#tw: pregnancy#what a wild relationship origin story they have#‘how did you and papa meet?’#‘well your mother had me pretend to be my brother…’#absolutely crazy OTL jade has every reason to crash out if those kids call floyd papa LOL

Man, thinking of Izutsumi is making me cry. Like, the succubus chapter and the monsters taking on the form of her mom (that she thinks what her mom looks like but she doesnt remember, she was taken/implied kidnapped when she was very very young).
How at first she was frozen and her small, cracked voice, calling her, "Mom?".
Then, the next without effort kills her 'mom' and the agony that she thinks that she doesnt have a human heart, that she's a heartless monster. Thinking how easy it is to kill her. Until, a big cat monster appears. As the fight stops, she looks at the cat monster and questions why it doesnt affect her. The realization that she does have a human heart, it just beats alongside the monster heart. That she's slowly starts to accept who she is, I mean she still has the desire to go back to being human, but she does start to not hate herself. And the fact that nearly her whole life being carted around, she was never alone. Her monster part protected the little girl, gave her its strength and agility.
I'd like to believe that's where the part where this snip of her thinking of herself, comes to fruition
#jade rambles#dungeon meshi#dunmesh manga spoilers#izutsumi#i have so many thoughts about her#like. i love her so muchhh#her story hasnt end and i appreciate the open-ended story to her because it does make sense#shes got a lot of things to learn about. her origin. tracing back her family. are they alive?#if theyre not where are they resting#gives the little girl in her to rest and mourn for her lost family

I don't know why the fandom is having such a hard time picturing Azul having a little brother based on Morgana from the second Little Mermaid movie. It could totally work in canon!
Let's break this down for a second:
Azul's parents are divorced. He was raised by his bio mom and his step-dad.
Azul says himself that his step-father is "the father he respects," which could mean that he has absolutely no contact with his bio-dad. He wouldn't know what he was up to or if he had other children.
Azul's bio-dad could've also been a cecaelian (octo-mermaid) and had another child, or he could've been a normal mermaid who got with another octo-mer after he divorced Azul's mother.
Heck, maybe that was the cause for the divorce in the first place. Maybe he had an affair and destroyed his marriage himself. Or if you want to go a bit deeper, after their marriage fell apart for whatever reason, Azul's bio-dad wanted to recreate the family he lost and got with another cecaelian woman and had his little brother.
This point, in particular, could be a reference to the popular theory that Morgana was Ursula's half-sister. Same mother, different fathers.
The theory goes that Ursula was the result of an affair Triton's father, the former king, had with an octo-mermaid. Such a scandal would bring shame upon the royal family, hence why Ursula lived with her mother away from the prying eyes of the court, but it would also make sense why, in her youth, Ursula still had ties to the castle and lived there from time to time (according to the movie).
A few years later, Ursula's mother had another baby girl with a normal mermaid. He wasn't anyone special like the king, with no royal lineage or special magic of his own, making Morgana "unremarkable" in her mother's eyes. Or maybe their mother truly loved this man, and the relationship didn't work out, so she takes her anger and insecurities out on Morgana.
With all of this in mind, it's possible that Azul's bio-dad could resent Azul's little brother in some way, giving him an inferiority complex a mile wide, just like Morgana. He wouldn't stop talking about Azul and how great he's become, how his brother should strive to be more like him.
It was always: Azul this, or Azul that, or (INSERT NAME), why can't you be more like your brother Azul?
He would grow to despise Azul, his own brother, who he's never even MET. That's perfect angst potential right there. To add fuel to the fire, maybe little bro tried to reach out to Azul and connect with him, but their father sabotaged that somehow and made him think that Azul just didn't care.
Now you might be asking, how would Azul's bio-dad even know about Azul's accomplishments? Glad you asked!
Either A): Azul's mother is the only one in contact with him and updates him on how Azul's doing from time to time.
Or B): His bio-dad enrolled the Morgana stand-in in Azul's school by chance and heard through the grape vine that Azul became the deal maker non-technical crime boss he is now.
Or both. Honestly, both of these combined would push little male Morgana over the edge. His classmates hear the rumors about an octo-mer who granted devious wishes a few years back and are either scared of or really unimpressed by the little bro's lack of magical prowess.
The bullying and self-hatred haven't skipped a generation, and neither has the body issues. Instead of being insecure about being overweight, Azul's little bro is insecure about being way too skinny.
This went on way longer than I thought, but to wrap up: All this to say, if we got Jamil's sister, who is a reference to Jafar's twin sister from that obscure Aladdin game, I think it's plausible for Azul to have a brother.
Thank you, and goodnight!

if it matters, you complete me
Masterlist
Pairing: Austin x Jade (OC) (standalone)
Summary: After a long day and night of filming, Austin comes home in the early hours of the morning to find Jade deep in the throes of work.
Warnings: fluff, super duper major fluff
Word Count: 2,473
A/N: since seeing those "Caught Stealing" pics all over my feed, this idea's been rattling around in my brain. Enjoy!
Austin sighed as he pushed open the door, the quiet click echoing through their apartment. The familiar smell of vanilla and nutmeg greeted him, and he couldn't help but smile. Even after a long day on set, the thought of coming home to Jade always made him feel better.
As he made his way through the hallway, the dim glow of the living room caught his eye. He knew without even looking that Jade would be there, lost in her world of music. She was always more of a night owl, her creativity coming alive when the rest of the world was asleep.
And there she was, sitting cross-legged on the couch, her long hair cascading down her back with her laptop on her legs and earphones on her head. She had been just as busy as he was, but while his schedule forced him out into the chilly fall of New York, Jade’s work sequestered her to their apartment.
Austin smiled to himself, leaning against the doorframe for a moment to just watch her. Despite how exhausted he was, the sight of her—completely lost in her element—warmed something in his chest. There was something peaceful about it, about her.
He tiptoed closer, sliding off his shoes, and quietly plucked the headphones from her ears. Jade jumped slightly, her eyes widening before they softened when she saw him. She grinned, and even though she was the one who had been working all night, she somehow looked more refreshed than he felt.
“Hey, stranger,” she teased, her voice warm and soft in the late-night quiet. "You’re up late."
He chuckled, dropping onto the couch beside her. “So are you,” he said, his hand gently brushing a stray curl from her face, “What are you working on?”
“Psycho babble,” she replied with a smirk, her eyes twinkling mischievously. She had her mixing software up and running, the audio spikes zig-zagging
across the screen like musical notes frozen in time. Austin watched in awe as she expertly navigated through the program, her fingers dancing across the keyboard with practiced precision.
“Is that the name of your next album?” he asked.
“Never say never,” she shrugged back.
“I thought you were supposed to be on a ‘break’,” he pointed out.
He had a point. Jade had spent the last few years putting together her last album, having it chart, marketing it and then touring across the globe. She was an absolute rockstar, but even she was a human being with limits. As soon as award season was over she swore she would take a break — giving her more of an excuse to travel with Austin. But alas, she was an artist.
“Idle hands do the devil’s work, darling,” she replied smartly, “Besides, I’m here aaaalll alone in New York, all my friends are asleep, and you’re working so I can’t bother you,” he knew from the lilt in her voice that Jade was only joking, but Austin couldn’t help the little sting of guilt rippling up his spine. Every time they were in New York together it was always so magical, but this time he was working late.
He leaned in to press a soft kiss against her temple, his lips lingering against her skin. The scent of her shampoo mixed with a hint of tea was intoxicating, and for a moment, he forgot about the long day he had just endured. Jade leaned into his touch, her eyes fluttering shut as she savored the closeness between them.
“I promise we'll have our New York adventure soon,” Austin murmured, the words a vow against her skin. “I'll make it up to you.”
Jade turned to look at him then, her gaze searching his face with a mix of fondness and amusement. “You always do,” she said, her voice soft but filled with warmth. “But right now, how about a midnight snack to keep us going?”
Austin chuckled, the sound vibrating through his chest. “Midnight? It’s 4am.” he teased.
She rolled her eyes playfully before hopping off the couch, her hand reaching out for his. “Details, details. Come on, let’s raid the fridge! You should never go to bed on an empty stomach!”
Together, hand in hand, they made their way to the kitchen. The soft glow of the refrigerator light illuminated Jade's face, casting a warm halo around her. Austin couldn't help but admire her in that moment, the way she moved with such grace and purpose even in the dead of night. But then, that’s what she always did. For as long as he could remember, she was a nocturnal creature.
As they rummaged through the shelves, pulling out random snacks and leftovers, a comfortable silence settled between them. It was moments like these that Jade cherished the most—simple, mundane tasks made special by her favorite person.
With their impromptu feast gathered on the countertop, Jade hopped up to sit on its edge, swinging her legs as she surveyed their bounty. Austin leaned against the counter opposite her, a smile playing on his lips as he watched her.
“Ah-ha!” Jade exclaimed triumphantly, holding up a half-empty carton of oreos, “Did I ever tell you about my oreos hack?”
Austin's eyes widened in playful anticipation, a grin tugging at the corners of his lips. He knew Jade had a knack for turning ordinary moments into remarkable experiences, and her "oreos hack" was no exception.
“No, but I’m all ears,” he replied, leaning in with exaggerated interest.
Jade chuckled at his enthusiasm before leaning closer to whisper her secret. “Okay, so you take two Oreo cookies, right? Twist them apart carefully...” Her voice lowered conspiratorially as she demonstrated, her fingers deftly separating the chocolate cookies from the creamy filling.
Austin watched, completely entranced by her animated explanation. It didn’t matter that it was past 4 am or that they both had early mornings ahead of them; in that moment, time seemed to stand still as they shared this simple joy together.
“Once you have them separated,” Jade continued, a mischievous glint in her eyes, “you grab a spoonful of peanut butter and spread it on one side of the cookie. Then, you put them back together and dunk the whole thing in a glass of milk… or coffee. It’s better with black coffee and the bitterness cuts the sweet,”
Austin couldn’t help but laugh at her enthusiasm, charmed by the way she could turn a late-night snack into an adventure. He reached for an Oreo from the package, following her instructions meticulously as she watched with a grin.
“If we have coffee now, we’ll never get to sleep. Milk will have to do,” he joked, grabbing a glass from the cupboard and filling it with milk. Jade beamed at him, her eyes sparkling with delight as she watched him assemble his own Oreo creation.
As they both took a bite of their makeshift dessert, a moment of contentment washed over them. The combination of sweet chocolate, creamy peanut butter, and cold milk was surprisingly satisfying, each flavor melding together perfectly on their taste buds. Austin couldn’t help but marvel at how Jade had a way of turning the simplest things into something just a little more fun.
They sat in comfortable silence, enjoying their late-night snack together. The apartment was quiet, the only sound being the soft hum of the refrigerator and the occasional clink of their glasses against the countertop.
Austin chewed thoughtfully, the sweetness of the Oreo and the peanut butter mixing in a surprisingly pleasant way. He chuckled as he glanced at Jade, who was already halfway through her second cookie, her eyes bright and mischievous. Despite how tired he felt, moments like this made everything else fade into the background.
Jade wiped a crumb from her lip, leaning back against the counter. “So, Caught Stealing,” she began, her tone casual, but her gaze soft with concern. “How’s it going? You guys make any progress tonight?”
Austin’s smile faltered for a split second, but he quickly recovered, pushing the exhaustion to the back of his mind. “Yeah, it’s coming along,” he said, trying to keep his voice upbeat for her. “We shot this big chase scene tonight. A lot of running, a lot of retakes. You know how it is—hours of running for what’ll probably be a three-minute scene.” He laughed, though it came out a little hollow.
Jade nodded, though her eyes lingered on him longer than usual. She could always tell when he was holding back, even when he tried his best to hide it. “Sounds intense,” she said softly. “You must be beat.”
“I’m fine,” Austin insisted, but his attempt at brushing it off was undermined by the way he leaned heavily against the counter, his shoulders slumping just a little. He glanced over at her, catching her raised brow. He sighed, running a hand through his hair. “Okay, maybe a little. But it’s nothing new. You know how these things go.”
Jade stepped closer, her fingers lightly tracing the back of his hand. “I do,” she murmured. “But that doesn’t mean you have to pretend like it’s no big deal. You’ve been going nonstop lately.”
Austin looked down at her, the tiredness catching up to him all at once. He couldn’t help but smile at her concern, at how she always seemed to know what he needed before he did. “I just didn’t want to drag you down,” he admitted, his voice softer now. “You’ve got your own thing going on. I figured we’d both just… power through.”
Jade glanced at the time on her phone, now reading 4:17am. She shook her head, smiling gently. “I think power-hour has long passed.” she said. “You should go to bed.”
“What about you?” he asked.
“I don’t know,” she shrugged back, “I probably should,” as the words left her lips, a yawn took her over.
A warmth spread through Austin’s chest as he looked at her, perched on the counter, the soft light casting shadows over her features. Without thinking, he stepped closer, sliding between her legs as she leaned back slightly to make room for him. His hands found her waist, holding her gently but securely, and he felt the warmth of her skin through the thin fabric of her shirt.
“Let’s go to bed,” he urged her gently, “And if we time it right, we might even get to wake up together,” no hectic mornings, no looming deadline shoots; only a peaceful and intimate moment for the two of them to share and enjoy together.
Jade looked up at him, her lips quirking into a soft smile, the kind that made his heart skip. Her legs wrapped loosely around his hips as she rested her hands on his chest, tracing absent patterns. “Deal,” she whispered, her gaze never leaving his, “Let’s go to bed,”
Austin scooped Jade up effortlessly, relishing the feeling of her warm body pressed against his as he carried her towards the bedroom. Her laughter tinkled in the air, the sound like music to his ears. They entered the room, dimly lit by a soft glow from the bedside lamp, casting a warm ambiance over the space.
Gently laying Jade down on the plush covers, Austin lowered Jade onto the plush covers, her body sinking into the soft bedding. He gazed down at her with intense eyes, overflowing with unspoken declarations of love and adoration. Leaning in, he tenderly pressed his lips against hers in a lingering, gentle kiss. Jade's hands found their way to his cheek, her touch soft and reassuring. In that moment, the world outside seemed to disappear, leaving only the two of them in their own little bubble of intimacy and affection.
As they broke apart, Jade's eyes fluttered open, gazing up at him with a mix of adoration and desire. She reached up to cup his cheek, her touch sending shivers down his spine.
"Wait," she said, her eyes flickering with amusement. "The snacks."
Austin blinked, momentarily confused before he remembered the plate of untouched snacks left out in the kitchen. He hesitated, torn between his desire for rest and knowing they should tidy up.
Jade let out a soft chuckle at his internal struggle and shook her head. "It's fine, we can get it in the morning.” she assured.
He wasn’t going to argue with that, not when sleep was tugging at his limbs and his eyes.
Austin gave a small laugh, the kind that came from sheer exhaustion. “You sure? I can—”
Jade cut him off with a playful nudge, her hands gently pushing him toward the bedroom. “It’s fine, we’ll deal with it tomorrow,” she insisted, her tone firm but light.
He didn’t argue, the thought of their bed far more enticing than anything else at the moment. They padded quietly through the bedroom, Austin tugging off his old clothes and tossing them onto the chair in the corner, replacing them with comfortable sweats. Jade, meanwhile, grabbed one of his old T-shirts from the dresser and slipped it on, the hem falling loosely over her thighs.
Austin smiled as he caught sight of her in his shirt, the familiar comfort of the scene filling his chest with warmth. It was always like this—simple, easy, natural. No matter how hectic their days were, they always had these moments, where it was just the two of them, cocooned in their own little world.
“C’mere,” he murmured, his voice thick with exhaustion as he climbed into bed, holding the blanket up for her. Jade smiled and slid in beside him, immediately curling into his side, her head resting on his chest.
They lay there in the quiet, the soft sound of their breathing filling the room as they settled into the warmth of each other. Austin’s arm wrapped around her waist, his hand absentmindedly tracing small circles on her back.
For a moment, neither of them spoke. It was peaceful, the weight of the day slowly slipping away. Jade’s fingers played lightly with the fabric of his shirt, and Austin closed his eyes, already half-drifting into sleep.
“Today was rough, huh?” Jade asked softly, breaking the silence but keeping her voice gentle.
“Mmm,” Austin murmured, too tired to form a full sentence. But he didn’t need to. Jade understood.
She lifted her head slightly, pressing a soft kiss to his jaw before settling back down, her head tucked perfectly under his chin. “I’m glad you’re home,” she whispered.
Austin smiled, his heart swelling as he tightened his hold on her. “Me too,” he whispered back, his voice thick with sleep.
They drifted off like that, wrapped up in each other, the world outside their bedroom fading into nothing. Tomorrow, there’d be work, messes to clean, and more long nights—but tonight, they had this. Just them, together, in the quiet warmth of their bed.

MINOR GET OUT. Rating/Warning: This is based on Fallout expect typical horror, blood, gore, death, weapons, memory loss, necrophilia themes, desecration of a body,
Hello! I am back, for those who don't know me outside of this.. I get SAD really bad between Nov-January, but I seem to be on the up and the words are flowing. Thank you for all ! Can't wait for the next chapter. New series coming soon!
***
The leaf litter rustled against the fabric of the worn coat, a bloody head covered in the dirt, and brain matter left a bloody trail behind them. The men’s heavy boots echoing against the low bush, as they march side by side, one leg in each hand. A coordinated effort to get the body out to the trail. As the bush parts open to reveal another man, going over the spoils of what they had found at the massacre site. They had found several dead bodies, the smell had alerted the ragtag group that there may have been something worth gathering. Finding an intact body amongst the other dead was interesting. They had debated dragging her out or leaving her for dead, but their ringleader Nat had pointed out she may be worth something at the chop shops.
“Is she heavy for her size?” Rag groans as he flops her leg down beside the bags. Wiping sweat off his dirty forehead leaving streaks across it. He is a small man with dirty grey hair, thin in the way most Wastelander were. Lack of food and good nutrients hadn’t helped any. He grabs a canteen from the pile and takes a swig making a face at the taste of the water.
Trucker chuckles, leering at the smaller man from under his hat. Same worn baseball cap he had found ages ago, it kept the sun off his steadily growing bald spot. He was taller and thicker than Rags by a good amount, but that was probably because his family was chicken farmers. “Nah you’re just weak, Rags.” He grabs his bottle, wincing at the stale water, but water was water after all. Though he longed for a cold harder drink.
Rag kicks at her leg, his boot two sizes too big, nearly falling off with the motion. Trucker laughing at the way he almost falls over. “Why she not all rotten like the rest of them?”
Nat strolls over, he is a tall lean man, with dirty blonde hair and several scars across his arms. The man was older than both but carried himself like a younger man. “Not sure, she got a bullet hole in the center of her head, but it’s like she is just asleep.”
Trucker grumbles, going over to some of the bags to dig around in the pile. “Some Enclave shit, I don’t like it. Should have just left her there.”
“Maybe they will want her back?” Rag asks, looking her up and down, a dark look passing across his face. "Think we could make a few caps off her." He turns his head sideways leaning towards her, “Or maybe we could-”
“Shut up.” Nat hisses and glaring daggers, he was not having any of that. There were still lines he wouldn't cross even out here. “Why I keep you sick fucks around I will never know.”
Rag shrugs, crouching down close to her, reaching out to touch the buttons on her jacket, tongue poking out to lick his lips. “If she’s dead, does it really matter?”
The back of Nat’s hand hits Rag’s face hard enough to knock him off his feet. A knife slid into Nate's hand as he walks over to the fallen man, Trucker getting up between them. “Come on you two dipshits, not worth killing each other over.”
Nat glares at Rag but puts his knife away, going back over to the body on the ground. He would have happily let that dirty piece of roach bleed where he lay. “You sick fuck stay over there like you’ve never seen someone of the opposite sex before.”
Rag puts his hands up pushing himself back onto his feet and going through bags. The three men digging out anything that could be traded, or sold, a small pile forming in the middle of the pathway. They weren’t worried about anyone coming upon them. Auto had burned to the ground a month or so ago, and almost no one came north this late in the summer. They only did it cause they were scavengers, going places most wouldn’t go to get the goods that many wanted. They were heading north while the rest headed south, they were quick and efficient. Anything valuable left behind they’d gather before high tailing it south before any cold weather came, it was a solid grift they’d be running for going on three winters now.
“I think we should pull her teeth,” Nat muttered to himself, he wasn’t much for body desecration but teeth fetched a good bag of caps. He drew the line at molestation, but stealing teeth from someone dead wasn’t the worst thing he’d done. They were here for caps, that kept them alive, bellies fed, and somewhere warm to stay. Leaning above her he pushed her lips up to see what he was working with.
Her eyes shot open, nearly black with glints of gold, mouth falling open with a groan causing Nat to fall backward onto his ass. The woman groans louder, all the men now stepping in the opposite direction of the dead body. Her mouth opening and closing at it gasps for air, her body convulsing and stirring, back arched up as she awakens.
“What the fuck,” Rag shutters, all but hiding behind the other two men, as their eyes widen in horror. “She should be dead.”
She coughs and sputters, black goop coming out of her mouth as she manages to sit herself up. Her arms and hands look more like doll parts than a human as she tries to right herself. Blinking several times she takes in the three men in front of her, one eye sticking closed before she manages to rub it back open. Hands stiff and ridge as she tries to get herself moving.
“W-here?” She grunts, her mouth dry as she looks at them. Reaching over she grabbed a canteen of water, her hands too stiff to open the lid. Nat comes over uncapping it and helping ease the water into her mouth. Coughing more the gunk onto the ground, it was thick like old oil in some of the burnt-out cars you could find.
“How are you alive,” Rag whimpers, only the top of his head seen above Trucker’s shoulders. Sometimes being a good head shorter was good, especially for hiding.
Nat digs around in the bags, finds some dried jerky, and hands it to her. “Umm, you’re about two hours outside Auto.”
She blinks several times, gently taking the meat out of his hand. Her other hand rubbing at her eyes, fingers going up to trace against the outline of where the bullet wound was. Her fingers go around it several times, brows scrunching as she chews. Nat could see the dexterity slowly coming back as she continues to move and look around. It was like watching a newborn learn how to walk for the first time.
“Auto,” She says quietly, hand going down across her arms to rub at marks. Nat hadn’t noticed the scars before now. There were at least half a dozen on each arm, not including what looked like old track wounds.
“What’s your name,” Trucker asks, scooting a little bit away from Rags to snatch a bag and start stuffing stuff into it. He was not going to let her take away all his spoils.
Blinking again, her eyes didn’t seem as dark as she looks around some more. “I am not sure, I don’t remember-” Instinctively she reaches out and grabs a machete not far from her, she grips it, fingers slotting perfectly into the handle. “I think this was mine.”
Rag is still standing back, muttering away to himself as he keeps his body as small as possible. “Nothin’ is really anyones, yah no.”
Nat glared at him, silencing him as much as he could, “Whatever you need, feel free to grab. We are just scavengers, finding things to trade or sell.”
She turns to look at the stuff before her, Nat staring into the back of her head. There should be a good-sized hole there, but all that is there is crusted hair. It didn’t make sense, he had never seen anyone survive a bullet to the forehead.
“You shouldn’t be alive,” Rag says again, Nat is about ready to knock his teeth out, he was dumping him at the next outpost they found. The man was becoming too unhinged even for him.
The woman stares at him, her eyes blank, it was clear she didn’t understand what was happening. She picks up a knife and pistol, the two going into a pack along with the canteen she had grabbed earlier.
“I don’t think I should be alive,” She looks between them all, “But I am alive,”
***
The group had debating giving her name but had decided on just calling her the girl. She had made the choice to go North back towards Auto, the town name sounded familiar but she wasn't sure why. Standing in the wreckage of the town didn’t give her many answers, it was familiar yet not familiar. Her head was pounding, the mark on her forehead was throbbing. The men kept asking her questions she could not answer, all she had were fragments of memories that would flash and disappear as fast. It was more like shards of glass that kept poking through, but it was hard to hold onto the pieces for longer than a second.
Nat stuck near her, he seemed to want to keep her safe. Was safe the right word? She didn’t like the other two that much, Rags made her skin crawl, something about him was not right, the way his eyes never quite looked at hers. Trucker was mostly silent, he also made her edgy but not the same way Rags did. Regardless she was aware that their paths would divide sooner than later, as soon as she could figure out who she was. Something had to trigger things right? Maybe this town would, or what was left of it. Maybe it would make the pieces not so jagged. She kicks at some burnt metal wishing her mind worked, eyes whirling around the place. It was all the same blackened nothing, a black burnt metal on top of more metal.
She walks around, her legs were still stiff and aching like she hadn’t moved in days. Her fingers went back to her forehead, the mess that she had felt in her hair. How long had she been lying in the forest, what had happened in the forest? Why was she the only one alive? Who was traveling with her?
“You’ll figure it out,” Nate says quietly, coming to stand close to her. She nearly jumps glaring at him, not wanting him any closer to her.
“Do you know who shot me? Is that what this?” Shrub points at her forehead, the raised edges catching on to her finger.
Nat’s eyes go wide and he raises his hands up palms out, “No, we found you like that. I don’t know what happened.”
Shrub groans and sitting down on a piece of burnt rubble, rubbing her face and then down her arms. Her fingers find the different marks on her arms, lifting up her shirt seeing more scars smattered on her stomach . Some look older than others, others fresh, what had happened to her.
Bang
Jade!
She blinks a few times, the name Jade bouncing around inside her head. Who was Jade? Was it someone she was with, was it one of the dead bodies in the forest? Did she kill Jade?
“Nothing makes sense.” She grumbles looking around the place. More flashes of memories, the town not burnt but whole. The streets where busy with people moving around. She could see herself walking across to the building directly from her, someone shadowing behind her.
She is up and moving without thinking, heading towards what is left of the building, a building that is familiar. It had melted fencing surrounding the place, she carefully stepped over some of the debris. Going down along the blackened brick to the back, there are several burnout trailers. The memories hit again, the trailers not burnt, the lights low, a shower, the warmth of a fire.
Bang!
Jade!
“You’ve been here before?” Nat asks he had kept close to her, staying just a few feet behind her, but close enough he could see the wreckage past her.
“Jade,” She says the name out loud as if she were testing out how it fits on her tongue. It was her name and the more she said it the more it fit her.
Nat nods his head, a small smile on his face as if understanding what she is saying, “That’s got to be your name, right?”
Jade nods her head, “I think so, I was here before this burnt. I can see what it looked like before everything went up in flames. I stayed in these trailers” She gestures at the burnt husks of metal.
“Well, you got a name now. Maybe you’ll remember the rest,” Nat adds, looking almost hopeful as he watches her. Jade looked this way and that, explaining how things had looked before it had all gone up in flames.
Jade stands in the middle of the space, walking towards one of the trailers that she was sure was hers. She peers behind it seeing a large hole in the fence. “I went through here before it burnt to the ground.”
This is where she had escaped, something had chased her through the hole. Did someone try to kill her? Then left her in the woods? There were so many questions, without answers. They were trapped behind millions of fragments of memories.
The two turn at the crunch of gravel, coming out from behind to see that Trucker had shown up, a piece of paper in his hands. “Bounty. Wonder if this was the dude that burnt the place down?”
Taking the paper Jade looks it over, a striking drawing of a gnarled face of a man looks up at her, his face scarred and hollowed in some area. He wears a crooked smile, missing a nose, yet she still would call him handsome. She knew him without reading the words written below, it was the Ghoul. She knew him, had met him before, maybe it was here in town.
“The Ghoul, he was here,” Jade stated, though it wasn’t anger she felt towards him. She felt remorse. As id she missed him, or something, what was it?
Nat grabs the paper looking it over, lips going into a thin line. “Bet he was the one that burnt the place down. Ghouls, nothing but zombies that think they are still human.”
Jade’s stomach clenches at his words, heat flooding her face. The urge to strike him, made her hands clench.“You sure? I don’t remember him doing anything bad.”
Trucker spat on the ground, “Yeah, I’ve heard of him. Some bounty hunter with a big ego, legend has it he was around when they first dropped the bombs. A killer for hirer type.”
“So you just assume he would burn the town down?” Jade pushes, flashes of a shadow in the shape of a cowboy making her question everything they were saying. She knew somewhere in the back of her mind, she knew they were wrong.
Chuckling Trucker grabs the paper balls it up tossing it. “There have been outposts and towns burnt all up and down this area. He was probably looking for someone, trying to cover his tracks.”
“Whose covering tracks?” Rag walks in looking at the burntout area. Jade immediately backing away from him. He keeps himself away from her too, at least the discomfort was mutual.
“Nothing, we should grab what we can and then keep heading north,” Nat shrugs it off, walking out of the fenced area. “No point staying here any longer than we need.”
Jade stands there looking around the place, going over to the crumpled-up paper she grabs it and smooths it out. Holding the piece up she notices that one side is ripped like it had been torn in half. She folds it neatly, stuffing it into one of her pockets to keep it safe, something wasn’t adding up. Whatever it was she wasn’t going with them, she was going to head south, that was the direction she needed to go. Following the men back out to the main part of town with her mind made up.
“I think I am going to go south,” Jade says firmly as she catches up with the three men. “I don’t think north is the way I am supposed to go.”
The three look at her as if she is asking to walk off a cliff. Nat’s brows are scrunched together, Trucker’s are lost somewhere under his hat, and Rags looks as indifferent as ever. It didn’t matter not really anyway, they owed her nothing.
“I don’t think you should be on your own, Jade,” Nat states, taking a step towards her hand outstretched. “You might not remember, but the Wastes aren’t safe.”
Jade squares her shoulders looking at him directly, “No, I don’t remember much of anything. But my gut is telling me not to go North, so I ain’t going.”
Trucker rolls his eyes, snatching up his pack. “Yeah, good luck to yah. If you need anything, don't come looking for us.” He turns to start walking out of the town, Rag does the same without a word.
Nat stands there, hands now clenched around the straps of his bag. “I’ll come with you then. You shouldn’t be out here alone.”
Trucker and Rags groan in unison at the words, Rags flipping them off as he continues to walk. Trucker stops to look at them, hands on his hips, face scrunched together. He grabs Rags and drags him back towards Nat and Jade. Rags moans the entire way back as he comes to a stop beside Nat.
“No, no, no way, dude.” Trucker grumbles, stopping a few feet from Nat. “We’ve been travelling together for -” He throws his hands up in the air. “Now you're just gonna dump us to play white knight.”
“I don't need anyone’s help,” Jade states, not liking Trucker’s tone and the way Rag is just standing there glaring. “Go North, I am going South.”
Nat grabs her arm, Jade grabs him, and immediately throws him over her shoulder. He hits the ground with a thud, his eyes wide in shock as he stares up at Jade.
“What the fuck are you doing,” Truker pushes Jade back, going to help Nat up off the ground.
Jade stood there wide-eyed and confused how she knew how to do that, it had felt like a well-practiced instinct.
“I am sorry,” Jade replies, chewing against one of her bottom lip as bile touches the back of her throat. “I shouldn’t have done that.
“No shit,” Rags growls at her, grabbing up Nat’s bag as he scowls at her. “Lot of thanks we get offering you help.”
Nat sighs, dusting himself off, and taking the bag from Rags. “It’s fine, you don’t need us anymore.”
Jade stands there, at a loss for words as the three men turn away from her. She watches as they walk away, her heart heavy. Part of her wanting to go after them, they had helped her after all, but part of her knew better. She was not meant to go with them, her journey lay south.

A dialogue that might show up in the actual comic! Thought it was funny to draw it out and test how it'd look like 🧚♀️
Jade does not know about the Bloodhound League or the existence of Hunters and Monsters altogether, but she does know that something is fishy with Venatio Academy's scouting project
I wonder what that could be? 🤔

Sora [Subject 001], AKA Bradley Jade's fourteen-year-old lab rat child. Her powers are essentially a human battery for other superhumans; she boosts others' powers when she's around them by 20xs. She's sort of like Bradley's magnum opus, as he experimented on the inmates and illegally obtained blood and tissue samples to try to make his own superhumans, and Sora was the most successful (i.e. the one that survived past petri dish stage).
Sora was implanted with false memories of her life "outside" of Jade's Hall as a precuation since the scientists felt her knowing she's an experiment would negatively mess with her psyche; and her thinking that they're trying to help her instead of contain her indefinitely allows them to better control her.
When Tasha ousted her father and had him and his loyal employees arrested and found out, she axed those experiments, but Sora was too dangerous to be released so she’s confined to the facilities.

JADE Origin Story - a Call of Duty OC Short Comic (PART 2)
Warning : violence, blood and gore.
This comic was made for my final assignment for a comics class I attend for college. Since the theme is free, I decided to make a comic about Jade! It's not an origin story per se 💀 It's basically a showcase of my technical skills in drawing, paneling, and comic-making in general. With the time I had I only managed to finish 12 pages, but I'm proud of every single page! It features the story of when Jade was still in MI6 and a glimpse of what she did as a black agent; how she got things done back then and what her motivation was.
Have a look and hope you love it! 🥰🌹

Happy Thursday! May I request an infodump on Jade? Your siren tag got me curious about her :3
Thank you for the ask. Ok so here's another ask on Prince jade that gets into his past a little
spoilers below the line
Jade has a magic collar ...that was made by the fae. He has been resurrected via necromancy... his family sucks .. he is kinda cursed but that's not super relevant at the moment...is the cliff notes
Jade grew up with two older siblings and two younger siblings who could do no wrong. He was singled out as the only redhead in the family besides for the Queen's dead sister Liliana. Queen Kia hated her sister and everyone else is just glad they are not Jade and tend to make things worse...the three times he was kidnapped in the past was always treated like he had ran away....after the General's brought and back usually General Luke who will tie with Kia for villain role in book two.
Jade is one of the main characters of book two which gets into the royal family's and the politics on the kingdom and pirates side of the world.
Galen is the other main character who is the second in command in the Bioluminescence sea under Daimhín's command. He tends to do a lot of the work that Daimhín delegates but he doesn't mind. Also Jades love interest or is jade his love interest you know what I'm confusing myself there so on to the next thing.
Jade also has a extreme fear of water after being water boarded...so him being on a ship is going to be a blast to write and please pay attention to the warnings I put on the book as his will be rather dark.
Also Jade and Oisìn have been inadvertently been saving each other's life for years.
Jade is also depressed...kinda

You ever come up with an idea that haunts you deeply?
This guy popped into my head about a week ago and I've been drawing him every day since. He's an auditor for a limbo universe that I'm developing and he does not have full control over all of those extra handses. Some of them are helpful but some of em are real fuckers so be careful which one you shake.
Side note: It's both scary and liberating to find myself drawing outside of a fandom. Please be nice to me.
#furry art#furry oc#anthro art#blue jays#original character#okay he's not actually a blue jay he's just based off a blue jay but you feel me right#I love it when I get past tag five it really means I can go off#like I can go into how Eidel is tapping into my love of Nickelodeon cartoons as well as my love for movies like Beetlejuice#I really dunno guys this is very atypical of me#at least me in the present sense younger me used to pull weird characters out of his ass all the time#cue me making parallels between limbo and being caught on nostalgic memories#but THAT is a story for another day#jade draws#almost forgot to tag that
