The pirate king of Death's Redemption

summary:

Pirate king Daimhín Heorot: antagonizes the Royal's of Tarak by going after their vessel's. Usually leaving the cargo vessels alone as they had minimum defense and usually didn't have the good cargo. Until he crossed paths with Oisìn Mallory then things slowly change.

Tarak fleet captain Oisìn Mallory: has a past he is haunted by and a distrust for royalty. Has to accept aid from a pirate and to make it worse it's not any pirate but one of the pirate kings.

secrets revealed, royals exposed and something dark stirring in the shadows. Will they survive the manipulations of a seer with good intentions or will their enemies get them first?

series summary: the gods of old are still interfering in the world. One is trapped within the shadow realms will he be set free or will he die? The fae royalty are not quite what they seem. Will the pirates find out about their cursed god and change the world or will it burn to ashes? Will others meddling cause it to unfold and will it be revealed of that is the case?

Solace, age unknown, the first spirit and help others to crossover to reincarnation.

Enky, goes by multiple names..He sprang from a void and has a connection to it. The first of the gods.

He hasn't changed much, tbh. But the tiny bit he did change is pretty significant. It's more like he's been pretty close to snapping for years now and the whole Davy-situation just pushed him over the edge lol.

Like before Davy, he'd mostly put up with the classism of his environment. He'd bitch a bit and lose his temper here and there but overall he stayed in line and go back to do as he was told while quietly seething under the surface. But it's pretty hard to stay quiet when you have a strong sense of justice and then Davy comes along and Miyamoto is just there now expected to also treat him like he's a third class human and that's where he draws the line. Yeah, he cleaned up Watts' social blunders all these years, but these were fairly innocuous. But before he was also never in a situation before where he had to determine if someone even counted as human. Like the whole point of him doing this investigation is to find out whether or not Davy still deserves basic human rights, however minimal they are for people from the slums. And the more he learns about Davy the angrier he gets. Well, and really fucking worried about the kid. And oh gods, Watts is worse than ever, was he always so bad at hiding how much he really doesn't care about poor people?? Like jeez, Miyamoto thought he was mostly friends with the guy. On good days. When he could tell himself that at least Watts was polite to poor people. So yeah, losing your one sorta-solid friendship in the span off....less than 3 days? can have a negtive effect on your already fraying patience I'd wager

Listen, you can’t write perfect characters. No one cares about reading about someone who never screws up. Your characters need to make bad decisions, they need to hurt people, and they need to be hurt. They should doubt themselves and do things they regret. That’s where the magic happens, when they’re flawed, messy, and human. People don’t fall in love with characters because they’re flawless; they fall in love because those characters remind them of the chaos inside themselves. So don’t be afraid to put your characters through hell. Only then will their journey mean something.
