Happy Thursday! May I request an infodump on Jade? Your siren tag got me curious about her :3

Thank you for the ask. Ok so here's another ask on Prince jade that gets into his past a little

spoilers below the line

Jade has a magic collar ...that was made by the fae. He has been resurrected via necromancy... his family sucks .. he is kinda cursed but that's not super relevant at the moment...is the cliff notes

Jade grew up with two older siblings and two younger siblings who could do no wrong. He was singled out as the only redhead in the family besides for the Queen's dead sister Liliana. Queen Kia hated her sister and everyone else is just glad they are not Jade and tend to make things worse...the three times he was kidnapped in the past was always treated like he had ran away....after the General's brought and back usually General Luke who will tie with Kia for villain role in book two.

Jade is one of the main characters of book two which gets into the royal family's and the politics on the kingdom and pirates side of the world.

Galen is the other main character who is the second in command in the Bioluminescence sea under Daimhín's command. He tends to do a lot of the work that Daimhín delegates but he doesn't mind. Also Jades love interest or is jade his love interest you know what I'm confusing myself there so on to the next thing.

Jade also has a extreme fear of water after being water boarded...so him being on a ship is going to be a blast to write and please pay attention to the warnings I put on the book as his will be rather dark.

Also Jade and Oisìn have been inadvertently been saving each other's life for years.

Jade Tarak

he is the third in line for the throne and the only child of Queen Kia's that is not a blond. To his mother he looks like his aunt who she did not like...at all.

He will be one of the main character's of book two...and help introduce the royals and political aspects of the storyline better as unlike Oisìn he was raised learning about them in-between punishments for various things. Honestly you will probably hate his whole family by then end of it. He has been kidnapped 3-4 times and it was treated more like attempts at running away and he watched his closest friend die at a young age...his nanny/keeper

He loves sword fighting although it's not something he gets to practice often but he has a natural skill for it despite his lack of balance .. amongst other things.

Relaxing after a long day

Galen watched as Murder Mittens wrestled gently with Jade not that his little gem had realized it yet. The sight would always bring a smile to his eyes if not to his face. He stood at the doorway to his quarters for a while before they noticed him watching. Jade lit up with a smile as he acknowledged he was in the doorway. The cub had grown to its full size and was a menace but highly protective of Jade which he wouldn't complain about especially after the life his gem had lived. Especially not when it made him feel a little safer which was kind of laughable considering a few things.

Jade asked, “ ‘r’ ya going to stand there all night?”

He smiled at the accented timbre of his voice and walked into their room. They settled into the cot easily. Jade leaned back against his chest and he burrowed his face into the long red locks. It had been a long day or it felt like it had. There had been a meeting with the other captains and both he and Daimhín were frustrated with some of what was going on but that was forgotten the moment Jade had crawled up and leaned his back against his chest. It was his favorite way to hold Jade.

The large cat curled up around their feet to keep them in place, not that he had planned to move anytime soon. He kissed the top of Jade's head as he went to pull back for a while.

Jade leaned his head back to look up at him and he chuckled before lightly pecking his lips. “I'm fine, love, it was just a long day without you there to scowl at them.” His cheek resting on the top of his head once more as they drifted off like that.
