Extra Elements redesigns: Jacob Pevsner

Character notes: Another performer, a specialist in jazz-like music. Pevsner is a famous musician who dabbles in almost anything. He has achoneroplasia, and developed photophobia in his eyes. He also has a love for stars, and most of his clothing and sitar are decorated with the shapes.

Elemental notes: Not all sound masters are completely blind, but tend to loose some of their vision as they age. They hear very well, and can mimic noises and voices they hear perfectly. Sound masters also tend to be musically inclined, usually responsible for creations of new instruments or genres of music.

Elemental Masters in the movie-verse headcanons

Morro - Lloyd Garmadon's emo cousin and a college student who is kind of in a gang that commits a few crimes here and there, which is fine because people already assume he's evil for being related to Lloyd

Skylor - She inherited Chen's Noodle fortune after her father went to prison under mysterious circumstances. Has the best cooking in home ec class. It's even better than Zane's. She and Nya are an unstoppable duo in gym class

Griffin Turner - He's the substitute gym teacher at Ninjago High that everyone has a love-hate opinion of because he always, always makes everyone run a mile and doesn't let anyone get away with slacking, but he's also funny and somehow pretty chill

Karlof - Owns a popular metalworking shop and is a part-time substitute shop teacher at Ninjago High. Nya and Jay are his favorite students

Neuro - He's a defense lawyer. He's always able to call a bluff, and it never fails to frustrate the opposing counsel

Shade - She's a professional private investigator. One of the reasons that he's so good at his job is that no one can EVER spot him

Camille - She's a professional special effects makeup artist who always does the best onscreen effects

Krux - He's basically Ricky Geravis' character from Night At the Museum but a lot angrier, and also seconds away from firing his brother. Death glares at anyone on their phone

Acronix - He's a security guard at the museum who is always playing on his phone too loudly. Would have been fired several times over if his brother wasn't the curator

Bolobo - He's an environmental activist who may or may not have committed some minor crimes against major oil and energy corporations

Tox - She's a pharmacy manager who is very obviously into some shady stuff, but the rest of the staff turn a blind eye to it because she's the most knowledgeable person there

Jacob Pevsner - He owns a music studio next door to Dareth's dojo. Has banned Dareth from going anywhere near the music equipment

Ash - He's a firefighter. He's very good at his job, but nobody likes him because of his personality

NINJAGO HC’S PT 4 : ELEMENTAL MASTERS

There's not yet backstory for Cinder, I'm thinking about it so hard I read his and Ash's (the previous master of smoke) wikis. I am making it up.

Look at this

During season 9 Ash wasn't there and Tommy Andreasen said he was with Bolobo (the master of nature), Pevsner (master of sound) and Chamille (master of form). Ash was also seen hugging Chamille in season 4 before summoning the elemental dragon to escape the island. Think what you want but this what you could think:

Queer poly something relationship maybe platonic maybe not whatever between Ash, Chamille, Bolobo and Pevsner. And them taking Cinder in somehow, maybe they knew him already during season 4, maybe later but them caring for Cinder in a way. Especially Ash caring for him so much that he wanted to gift his element to him when he passed (or just gift it we don't know if he's actually dead).

In the screenshot it also says that Karlof mentioned Chamille in season 9 saying she's become a bad girl. Cinder grew up with morally gray characters then huh. One of the people close to him was even acknowledged as a bad girl.

Bolobo was captured, Chamille probably went on her own to be a bad girl, Ash probably passed on, Pevsner is also probably passed on. So left alive is Chamille the bad girl and maybe Bolobo. Cinder was probably alone by that point before Ras took him in.

Cinder is independent, morally gray, capable, from unconventional family. He doesn't really have nothing else but the wolf clan at this point, they are his people, they accept him as he is, Ras doesn't kick him out even if he failes in the tournament like he did with other of his students. We could have more thoughts about Ras' and Cinder's relationship later but Cinder is at least some way valuable to Ras even if he failes.

So yea Cinder is a wolf boy. I love him. SO MUCH

Did all my shopping today, spent way too much money, and picked up some friends along the way. Yes, I know Chen is missing his staff. I asked and they lost it, so he has a Wolverine claw now. AU time perhaps?

They did my guy DIRTY in Tournament of Elements!!!!!

Like, Sound could be SUCH a powerful element if you wanted it to be! And apparently the ninjago writers didn't want it to be :((

With enough training, you could probably mute your movements. You could be a ventriloquist if wanted without even trying. AN ELEMENTAL MASTER OF SOUND CAN LITERALLY MANIPULATE SOUND, WHY WOULD THEY NOT MAKE JACOB MORE POWERFUL!!!!!!!!

They must've REALLY wanted him to lose the tournament and also out of the show cuz like

1) He had almost no personality 2) They put him against SKYLOR, a MAIN CHARACTER, in the FIRST BRACKET ROUND 3) Even when he was in the factory they wanted him out of the show because he got caught escaping and was sent to 'feed the snake'. We basically never saw him again after that

We heard his voice at the end of the ep where they figure out their dragons, and then I think he randomly showed up in a few shots after that even though he never went off the island with them??

Wtf Ninjago writers. You had a good thing and you practically threw him away >:(
