Girlie was having fun at the ocean with a TAIL and then she gained LEGS, all normal, but she had no voice. Ariel had a speech disorder/mutism!! Babygirl knew perfectly how to walk, but in the original history written by Andersen, she felt a lot of pain stepping on the floor. Sometimes, in the silent night, I picture Ariel in a wheelchair and little me finding her awesome for it.
