Yokohama Port Opening Memorial Hall aka "Jack's Tower" paid for the local citizens and erected in 1917 to commemorate the 50th anniversary of the opening of Yokohama Port. The building was designed in the Neo-renaissance style The interior was destroyed by fires after the Great Kanto Earthquake of 1923. With the exterior intact, the interior was restored 4 years later. For years, foreign sailors visited the three towers, King's Tower, Queen's Tower, and Jack's Towers as symbols to pray to for safety before heading back to sea for their next port or home country. The Hall offers great insight into the confluence of trendy European design and American designs combined with a sense of Japanese traditional culture. I cannot tell if the Angel In Disguise animatic is an April Fool's Day joke or not, bc the date is right and it's a memed song, but it's also so genuinely well made alamaoamalsmsmsm Love it either way, it's very good!

Oh it was absolutely a joke that started with Goob joking that the song was a Jacktower song. I just went absolutely insane when one line stood out to me, lit both our brains on fire, and. Well now we have this. It's a masterpiece and I'm genuinely proud of it and thankful to Goob for working with me.

Watch out for next year because I intend to make this a trend. It started with rickrolling the nrmts shippers in 2021, using Hide and Seek for a DA animatic in 2022, and now this.
