sorry just curious wdym jack about jimmy novak in the outlines
It's only in the 14x02 outline.
Presumably, upon the arrival of Nick, Cas was forced to tacitly acknowledge the whole Jimmy situation (to Jack), and it seems he was pretty agonized over having to broach the topic.
Cas verbally distanced himself and used very careful, clinical language to describe the situation. In the script, it's even more clinical and almost...food-chain-and-tragic-hierarchy-oriented. It's very difficult and lovely:
NICK: "Occupy." That's just a cleaned-up way to say "steal," right? CAS (remorseful): I know it's unfair. But it's the way of things.
Cas became so uncomfortable and ashamed at Nick's charge of "body snatcher," that Cas noped out and lost track of both Nick and Jack.
///
Later, Jack pushes Cas in regards to being willing to kill Dean, and in the outline, we see that they toyed with the undercurrent being a general discomfort about Jimmy Novak, too. This reminds me of Jack's blunt, upfront reaction to the death of the civilian in Tombstone. The human-angel divide likely feels heightened here, as Jack has recently lost his grace and perhaps feels more on the "human" side of things:
And if they still can’t get him out of Dean… “He still has to be killed,” says Jack. Cas says doing that might kill Dean, so he’s doubtful any of them would be willing to do that. “I would,” says Jack. Cas is a little shocked by how calmly Jack says this, and Jack says he knows what Cas is thinking—that this is Lucifer’s gene pool talking. It’s not. “I’m not my father. I’m not my mother. I’m me. You’re all so focused on saving Dean, but Cas, Dean is Michael’s vessel. There’s a good chance Dean isn’t even alive. Is Jimmy Novak alive? Could anyone save him? It’s Michael, and Michael has to die. Cas stares at Jack, who looks coldly collected.

I've been thinking about the twst guys + mainly wondering who'd be most likely to get baby fever,,,
Malleus is definitely high on the list imo, as is Kalim... I think also Deuce and Rook?
Leona might not. He's already tired of dealing with Che'ka, he's probably not interested in the idea of raising a kid himself lol.
This is aged-up/set in the future where all of them are at least mid to late twenties and thinking about having children!
Most to Least Likely to Get Baby Fever:
Most Likely
Kalim had so many younger siblings growing up that he loved. That, combined with his friendly and social nature, makes me think he would love to have kids and a lot of them too. He’d be so excited to have his own family so he’d definitely get baby fever once he had a partner.
Malleus doesn’t have a lot of experience with children, but I think having a family of his own is something he would like because of his desire for closeness and a sense of domesticity, especially once he has a partner that he loves. You can’t stop this man from sweet talking you into having the next royal heir (and many more, after that).
Rook, despite what his proclivities might suggest, is very loving and dedicated to his family. He’s surprisingly domestic with his ability to cook and clean, and he loves children. He’s the most likely to have baby fever and randomly come home one day with a bunch of orphans for you to adopt.
Lilia already has Silver, of course, and I think he’d be very nostalgic for Silver’s childhood when he was still just a young baby. I imagine he’d love to relive that eventually, especially if he has a partner by his side to help him give Silver some siblings.
Jack’s wolf beastman thing about having only one partner his entire life makes me think that he’s much more domestic than he lets on. He wants the whole mate for life and have a family fantasy, and he’d definitely start to feel the baby fever once he had a partner he’s settled down with.
Deuce also has a domestic fantasy of sorts, I think he’d want to have children, but he’d also be shy about it. When he sees you playing with the neighbourhood kids, he can’t help but think about having kids together. His mom also bugs him about grandkids, so he’s encouraged by that too.
Trey is absolute househusband material, so he definitely gets baby fever once he’s settled down. I think he’d love to have kids and is pretty confident he’d be a great father, so he doesn’t feel the need to repress his desire to have a family once him and his partner have settled into their lives.
Cater wants children, probably gets baby fever from all the family vlog content he sees. You really have to sit him down and ask him if he knows all the responsibility that no one talks about. He’ll need some time to learn, but once he does he’s game on again and wanting to be a dad.
Ruggie is ambivalent because while he’s used to taking care of the kids in his town (and it comes naturally to him), he knows how insanely expensive kids can be. Once he gets a good enough job to only have to work one, I think he wouldn’t want to go back to working multiple all to have a kid. Thus, has baby fever occasionally but the cold hands of capitalism drag him back to reality.
Vil is someone I think would like to have a couple kids someday, but he’s in no rush considering his career. As he gets older and starts to see everyone else his age have a family, he would start to romanticize it more and more in his mind until he’s coming to you and asking to have a baby with his blond hair and your beautiful eyes.
Silver is relatively levelheaded, so he may get mild baby fever once he has a partner that he’s settled down with, but it’s never a huge priority in his mind. May daydream about it occasionally, but it’s a ‘see as we go’ type thing, not a decided plan.
Sebek is pretty traditional because of his upbringing, thus he does want kids with his partner eventually. At the same time, Sebek and kids don’t exactly mesh. He’d be a lot more mature at this point which would help, but his interactions with children do lessen his baby fever occasionally.
Jade is pretty relaxed about it, while he might want to have children, it’s more planned than anything. He’s aware of the responsibilities and fine with them, he just wants to wait for the right time. Also, he doesn’t care too much for other people’s children, so it will be more the situation with his partner that makes him eager to have his own family.
Floyd does get struck with moments of baby fever, but his mood swings mean it’s often just a passing thought that will dispel as soon as he remembers that kids aren’t just fun and rainbows 24/7. He finds kids fun, but can’t handle the responsibility of a lifetime commitment. Every time he starts to hint that he might want kids with you again, you just have to show him a picture of a diaper and he’ll be like ‘oh wait nvm.’
Epel is kind of in between, he doesn’t hate children but he doesn’t particularly love them either. He would want a family eventually, but doesn’t get struck with the urge to have babies particularly often, only when he’s feeling nostalgic for his own family.
Riddle is pretty self-aware about his trauma, and it scares him away from having children. He does want his own child, but he’s too afraid to become his mother. If you reassure him enough, he’ll let the domestic fantasy overtake his fear, and start to get excited about having a child in the future.
Azul is too busy working to really think about having a family. He wouldn’t mind having one or two eventually, but he doesn’t really dream about having kids when you and his work keep him busy enough.
Ace doesn’t have the patience for kids or the desire to have them. He’s happy to be the fun uncle to his brother’s kids and give them back once they need actual parenting. He might want to have one kid eventually, but he’d much rather it just be him and his partner for now.
Idia knows he can barely take care of himself, how can anyone expect him to take care of a kid? He’s happy with his little family of you and Ortho, no baby fever for Idia.
Jamil’s already had a child to take care of his whole life (Kalim) so he’s disillusioned with the fantasy of domestic bliss and having kids since he knows all its pitfalls. He won’t be getting baby fever anytime soon.
Leona explicitly doesn’t like kids, so I think his placement here is pretty self-explanatory. He’s aware just how difficult it is to raise a child and he honestly has no interest in it for now. When he’s feeling a bit sappy, I think he might fantasize about having a family from time to time, but he knows he only would enjoy the ‘good’ parts and not any of the work, so he wouldn’t want to go through with it.
Least Likely

Same As The Day I Lost You
I...
This came to me as I'm making dinner so I'll be quick.
What if we mix deaged Danny and twin/older sibling (either one works) Damian, AND he gets tossed to his sibling in a last minute escape.
Like what if he was fighting Vlad who was doing his whole "denounce your father and join me as my son Daniel!" Thing while in the Zone and knocks Danny into something that's floating in the Zone with the ability to deage or was hit by a new Fenton or Plasmius invention while fighting in town that accidentally deages him.
Danny, who in this was adopted, gets put back to the age of six. The same age he had been found by Jazz in a 'haunted' forest Jack and Maddie were visiting/investigating while also using that time as a family vacation. (They were shocked to see a little boy with a stab wound bleeding out and rushed him to the nearby town, almost completely forgetting about the glowing green tiny puddle they found nearby and bagged most of it as evidence when they heard Jazz's scream of terror over finding the hurt little boy)
The sudden revert into that traumatized age, along with the child response to a fight or flight scenario, and add Danny's deepest need/wish to be protected his child fogged mind wishes to go to the one person who always made him feel safe.
His twin/older brother.
Just as quick as it was with Danny being turned into a child, his ghost powers ripped open a portal and sent Danny to the person he wants to be with...
Only he didn't know that right at that moment his seventeen year old twin/older brother is currently fighting the League with his family's help (his mother was trying to convince him to return to the League and be it's heir) in Nanda Parbat (the very place Damian lost the last/only person he knew loved him without any strings attached.)
So imagine everyone's face when a portal opened up, some muttering its a new pit being formed before them or something, and crawling out of it is a very scared and confused six year old Danny.
#danny phantom dc#danny fenton#danny phantom#dp x dc#crossover#dc x dp crossover#No one will be ready for child Danny#Does he have his older memories? idk maybe#maybe his six year old mind from the sudden deage is at front rn or something#Damian almost feral/angry screams at his mother for 'daring to try to replace Danyal with a cheap clone'#only to see the look on her face and knows this wasn't planned#his little brother who he secretly watched as his mother tried to go behind grandfather's back to heal only for the pit to greedily keep#was brought back by the pits not looking a day over the age he lost him#What happened was Danny disobeyed an order from Ra's and was punished for it#he almost died for it and Talia wanted very badly to keep him because he looked so much like her beloved and she couldn't bare losing that#Only the pits kept Danyal instead of bringing him back#or rather under the guide of a certain entity he was brought to the forest the Fenton's were visiting#Damian scoops Danyal up when he see's the look in his mother's eyes shift from shock to calculating greed/love#he refuses to leave his brother in the hands of the League or his mother#he loves her despite everything but knows Danyal would never truly survive their mother's version of 'love' especially in the League#Also Damian may have...refused/forgotten to tell the others about Danyal#so cue them being horrifically confused#The pure sick feeling and deep seeded panic Bruce feels when he see's the mini version of himself but with hints of Talia hits hard#blue rambles

Bruce is Tim’s Biological Father AU idea #5
Janet wasn’t in any rush to get married, but being a young woman with a steady boyfriend from a well off family, naturally everyone kept asking when she and Jack were going to take the next step. Janet always remarked that she was happy with the relationship as it was; that she was focused on her career goals; that she and Jack were letting things move organically.
In her presence, Jack always gave similar answers. One day, when he didn’t realize she was in hearing range, he joked with some peers about not wanting to settle until he’d explored all his options. She let him know she’d heard him and told him to feel free to explore his options and that she’d do the same. He pulled a med student; a barista; a couple administrative assistants: young women who were very sweet and equally boring. She pulled men like the Davenport heir, Adrian Veidt,John Constantine (she’d been a Mucous Membrane fan in college), and Bruce Wayne. Realizing he was going to lose the most impressive woman he’d likely ever know, Jack told her he wanted to get back together and proposed shortly after.
When Janet learned she was pregnant with Tim (and what the due and conception date ranges were), she knew right away who the father was. As they’d been split up at the time, Jack couldn’t hold it against her. However, he didn’t want Bruce involved in their marriage (he was a bit jealous of the man). Janet didn’t want anyone telling her what to do with her son, so she agreed not to tell him.
It was always something of an open secret among the Drakes (Jack, Janet, Tim, and Janet’s father who died when Tim was little) that Tim was Bruce’s child. They never talked about it. Ever. Not even to confirm it to Tim who just kinda worked it out for himself. Janet always suspected that Tim knew but again, they never spoke of it.
After he intervened on Bruce’s spectacular breakdown following Jason’s death, Tim assumed it was the same in the Wayne household. After all, Batman was considered by many to be the world’s greatest detective. Alfred and Dick were certainly no slouches in the investigation department either. Of course, they’d figured it out for themselves just like Tim had.
And, just like the Drakes, of course they didn’t openly acknowledge the fact.
It wasn’t until Bruce returned with news that he had a son with Talia that Tim finally acknowledged it, thinking Bruce would get the joke because he already knew.
“If you had a nickel for every illegitimate child you had, you’d have two nickels. Which isn’t a lot, but it’s still weird that it happened twice.”
“…”
“Especially with you being, like, the master of preparations and contingency plans.”
“…”
“It’s just weird, is all.”
“Who else do you think is my child?”
“…”
“…”
“Oh, shit, you have no idea.”
“No idea about who?”
“This whole time, you- Crap.”
“Tim.”
“Crap.”
“Tim.”
“Give me a minute, I think I’m having a nervous breakdown.”
“You look completely calm.”
“Yeah, well, my nervous face and my calm face are the same.”
“…”
“…”
“Tim?”
“Not that I want any details, but, uh, do you remember sleeping with my mother?”
Bruce was not expecting that response but he quickly does, in fact, remember having sex with Janet. He then connects the dots to the joke that started the current conversations and does some quick math.
“Sleeve up. We’re drawing blood.”
Sitting down in shock for a minute as the paternity results stare him in the face, Bruce realizes that Tim’s reactions suggest Tim knew and assumed Bruce knew and that just goes in a loop in his head for a bit: all this time his son thought he knew.
He’d sent Tim home to an empty house or overseas to train with strangers, and the boy had gone, thinking that was his father knowingly sending him away.
He’d been dismissive the one time Tim commented on his parents always extending their trips or otherwise fighting, and the boy had kept his silence, thinking that was his father knowingly leaving him in that environment.
He’d given Tim back to Jack when he woke from his coma, and the boy had gone, thinking that was his father making a deliberate choice to give him up.
He’d let Jack take Robin from Tim (and keep him from seeing him) in exchange for his silence on Bruce’s identity as Batman, and the boy had agreed, thinking that was his father sacrificing him for his secret.
He’d offered to adopt Tim after Jack’s murder, and the boy had turned him down, thinking that was his father refusing to publicly acknowledge their true relationship.
He’d helped Tim solidify the records on his fake uncle and the boy had accepted the help, thinking that was his father knowingly passing him off to some stranger.
Tim had been prepared to move into the stable apartment after his fake uncle died, until Bruce brought up the adoption again, and the boy agreed, thinking that was his father telling him their relationship had to remain a secret.
The joy of realizing that Tim was truly his warred with concern over the fact that his son thought such behavior was not only acceptable from a father, but should be accepted quietly.
He’s has no idea how he’s going to fix that, but he’s Batman, he’ll work it out.

Pairing: Bodyguard! Marauders x Fem! Reader, Bodyguard! Sirius x Fem! Reader AU: Bodyguard AU / Muggle AU CW: Reader getting kidnapped. Sirius getting injured. Note: This might be the longest one shot I have written so far, this is also my first time writing an action-ish fic? So please do keep it in mind, some parts may be inaccurate.. I also published this at 12 midnight lol. Enjoy!(2.5k words)
You always thought it was a tad bit excessive.
Being the sole heir to a vast family fortune meant that you had the finest thing you could ever want in your life; it also meant that you had the finest protection. Your father handpicked every staff member that was assigned to protect and care for you- going as far as doing not just a background check on them, but also their entire family. Doing a bunch of psychology and loyalty tests were also a must so it was rest assured that they would do their job.
Having one bodyguard? Understandable. Two? Oh, alright just some precautions. Three? That sounds... very safe. Four? Now, that's where you draw the line.
Sure, being born with a golden spoon is great- wonderful, even; but you felt like you were trapped.
You wanted to live life like any other normal human being, away from assassination or kidnapping attempts that were made in your life. So, mustering up every courage you have, you stormed into your father’s study to try and persuade him to just at least assign one to watch over you.
It was expected, you failed.
Now you were stuck with four goofballs bodyguards who would protect you with their life.
James Potter- the strategist. He could sense danger from miles away and best believe that a safe escape plan for you was already formulated if ever things went south.
Remus Lupin- the mediator. He has the ability to appear calm and composed even in the face of danger. Remus saved you more than once just from his voice and words.
Peter Pettigrew- the tech wizard. He’s the one responsible for surveillance, turning any kind of technology into a means of protecting you.
And then there was Sirius Black, the jack of all trades. When your father chose the top candidate, it was him. He was an exceptionally skilled fighter, good with weapons, fast and light reflexes, can speak multiple languages (mainly French), and over all just a well-rounded protector.
Being born into a family with a long tradition and a reputation for producing some of the best security experts in the muggle world, Sirius stood out like a sore thumb. He was the black sheep who defied family expectations. His family's company, BlackGuard Security, was known for its merciless efficiency and rigid standards.
His abilities were evident. Succeeded in every training program he participated in, frequently outperforming his peers with fast thinking and adaptability. Your father noticed Sirius's unconventional approach to security and saw potential in his abilities. When he was assigned to be your bodyguard, he took it as an opportunity to show himself beyond the shadow of his family's legacy.
Sirius is your shadow. He’s never more than a few paces behind. But it wasn’t just duty that kept him so close; it’s the quiet and unspoken bond that had formed between you two throughout the years. A bond that went beyond the call of duty, beyond the formalities. Which he desperately tries to deny.
“Good morning, Remmy!”
You beamed, smiling as you opened the door of your bedroom to see the tall man standing outside, on watch.
It’s still a mystery to you how he looks so put together with his neat hair, suit, and the signature earpiece in his ear even though it’s still 7:00 in the morning.
“Good morning, Miss.” He smiles, closing the door behind you as you headed towards the grand staircase, Remus following a step behind.
“I rarely see you during mornings,” You comment, going down the stairs to grab breakfast.
“James had some matters to attend to, Miss.” He answered, offering a small and polite smile. You hummed, “It’s alright. I like your company, Remmy. Jamie can get a tad bit enthusiastic in mornings.” You laugh, as Remus looks at you.
“Don’t let him hear that or he might just throw a fit.” He chuckled.
“He’s James, it’s normal.” You grinned, seeing the familiar long black-haired guy talking quietly in his earpiece.
“Morning, Sirius!” You waved at him; his piercing grey eyes looked in your direction. “Good morning, Y/n.” he smiled, then went back to talking in his earpiece.
You would be lying if you said you weren’t a bit bummed that you don’t have his undivided attention, Remus noticed this and raised his eyebrow, smiling to himself.
Taking a seat at the rather large dining table, you couldn't help but sigh. Remus decided to tease you a bit, "Were you expecting more from Padfoot?" He smiles, chuckling at the way you desperately try to hide the blush on your cheeks.
"What?! No! I was just pre-occupied with other things!"
Remus doesn't believe it when your eyes wandered in the direction of Sirius who was still talking into the earpiece. "No prongs, she has an event she needs to attend in the evening." You heard him talking to what you can assume is James from the other line.
The scent of breakfast wafted through the air, making your stomach growl as the staff placed the dishes and arranged the silverware for you.
"Would you like some, Remmy?"
"No thank you, miss. I already ate."
As you ate a piece of your breakfast, you looked up to Remus. "Anything interesting stuff for today?"
"I'm afraid today will be quite normal, miss. Just a charity ball your family would attend hosted by the Malfoy family."
You frowned. It's not like you hate the Malfoys, you just don't like how they're trying to set you up with their son, Lucius Malfoy, when it was clear that he is infatuated with his mother's bodyguard- Narcissa Black.
"Do I really have to go?" You complained,
"Prongs already picked up your dress for later, Y/n." Sirius suddenly spoke up, and standing beside Remus. You huffed, already feeling tired.
“Maybe I’ll just sneak out again-“
“No can do, Y/n!” James appeared out of nowhere, his famous grin plastered on his face, Peter trailing behind him, tinkering with what seems to be a mini remote of some sort.
You crossed your arms, eyebrows raised. “And why would that be, Mr. Potter?”
“Because your escort would be Malfoy.” he grumbles, clearly not liking the idea and the dude.
“I beg your pardon?”
You tried not to roll your eyes, keyword, tried. Remus clears his throat, trying to mask his surprise. Sirius felt his eye twitch.
What if something happens at the ball? Sirius is the most capable one of protecting you from danger, sorrynotsorry.
“But!” James blurts, “We’d still attend the ball, not just that close to you.”
“Like that’s any better.”
James frowns, “Sorry. The Malfoys actually don’t even want us to attend and guard you. Your father insisted, telling them you won’t attend the ball without us.” He says, taking a seat beside you despite Remus’ warning glances directed at him.
“Just what do they want…?” Sirius mumbles to himself, already getting highly suspicious of Lucius and his family. (Not because of the fact that you’re about to get arranged to the Malfoy heir, no not at all.)
“They’re probably just annoyed, Lucius really can’t make a move on Y/n with us around.” James said, grabbing a handful of grapes and popping them onto his mouth, making you chuckle as you pushed the bowl closer to him.
“Alright, looking good Y/n!” James grinned, seeing you come down the grand staircase dressed in a red lavish gown with a gold accent.
Sirius felt his heart stop.
There was just something about you that makes his heart beat a little faster, time freezing, and the unusual flips his stomach did when he sees you.
Fuck— you were absolutely breathtaking.
You twirled, making your boys smile and compliment you, but Sirius just stood there, not reacting.
“Do I look presentable, Siri?”
You asked, trying to pass it off as a joke but they know damn well you were serious as you fiddled with a random lace in your dress. Not like Sirius noticed it, no, he was transfixed to your beauty.
“Beautiful.”
That was all you needed to hear.
“Mr. Malfoy, good evening.”
Lucius smiled slightly, taking your hand, and kissing it. “The night could not compare to your beauty, Y/n.”
It took every single fiber of Sirius’ being to not punch Lucius square in the face. How dare he flirt with you when he’s secretly dating his cousin?
You smiled politely, even though all you wanted to do is to stay a good couple of feet away from him. “You flatter me, Mr. Malfoy.”
“I am just stating facts, Y/n.” He offered his arm to you, “Shall we?”
Right. Might as well get over it.
Linking your arm with his, you nodded. “We shall.”
The boys instantly knew there was something off as soon as they stepped inside the venue.
James kept twisting the ring on his pinky finger, already thinking of numerous escape plans for different situations. Peter was on his phone, eyebrows furrowing as he checked and tries to figure out why he can't access some surveillance cameras in the venue. Sirius was on high alert, nothing could go unnoticed, he knows who approached you, how long you've spoken to them, the food that you consumed, and how that stupid Lucius kissed your hand, and interacted with you.
Remus also was alert, but one thing that made the alarms go off inside his head was the four suspicious men dressed in tuxedos quietly slipped inside the venue without getting noticed.
"Marauders, two o'clock. Four men, nearing darling's area quick." He told in the comms, eyes never leaving the four figures.
"Copy, Moony. Wormtail, any news?" Remus' earpiece was filled with James' voice. "Negative. Still trying to access." Out of the corner of his eye, Remus can see Sirius slowly inching to your direction. "Padfoot, do not engage. Wait it out." Remus heard James order Sirius, "I won't." he grunts.
That was when hell broke loose.
With lightning reflexes, one of the men pulled out a pistol and shot the large crystal chandelier causing it to fall and crash to the ground, breaking into thousands of tiny pieces. It was pure chaos, people were trying to rush out of the exits, chairs and tables were turned as they pushed through.
Sirius felt his blood run cold.
He was in autopilot, he dodged a panicked guest and leaped over fallen chairs, all while keeping his eyes on you. He cannot afford for the men to reach you before he does.
Luck was not on his side today.
He quickly closed the distance between both of you. He was your protector; he swore on his life he would protect you. Sirius would even sacrifice his life if it meant that you would be safe. He would do anything for you.
It was proven it wasn't enough when one of the men grabbed your arm, dragging you towards a hidden exit while Lucius Malfoy was escorted by the others.
"Fuck!" He yelled, as one of Malfoy's henchmen shot him in the shoulder to prevent him from going after you.
"Prongs! They have her!" They could all hear his anguished voice through the comms. Remus runs over to Sirius from where he was stationed, "Padfoot, you're injured-"
"I don't care!" He yells at his friend, "We need to fucking find her!"
"Wormtail, you better have the damn access already or I'll skin you alive!" Sirius barks angrily, talking to his comms as he fought the rest of the men with Remus helping him. "I'm in, but it's too late. They jammed the signals earlier and destroyed footages. Go to the exit, you'll see a motorbike on your left-" Sirius doesn't need to be told twice, he did what Peter told him and mounted the motorcycle, Remus quickly joining him.
"Can you see the black car ahead of you? That's them." Peter told him. Sirius was focusing on chasing the damn vehicle, so Remus answered on his behalf.
"Yeah, we're closing in. Prongs, what's your status?"
"Backsup are on their way, they'll be right behind you in 2 minutes."
Sirius felt the distant throb in his shoulder, the warm blood seeping through made his dress shirt clung onto him, but he paid it no mind.
"Keep your eyes on the road, Padfoot!" Remus reminds him as they narrowly missed an incoming truck. Sirius only nodded in reply as he grips the motorcycle tightly, weaving through the traffic and desperately trying to reach the speedy vehicle you're in.
"We're gaining on them!" Remus updates, seeing the familiar back up vehicles approaching, "Back up's near."
"Do not engage until the back ups arrive." James told them in a calm and commanding tone.
Of course.
Sirius will always be Sirius. When had he ever listened to Prongs' orders?
He is driven by his instinct, which is currently screaming at him to attack right then and there. As they neared an intersection, an opportunity was presented to him. He would be a fucking idiot to ignore it. With a calculated risk, he accelerated, effectively pulling alongside the car.
Remus sighs, already knowing his friend's thoughts and getting ready.
"Now, Moony!" Remus, who's on cue, leaned out and desperately tried to reach the car's door handle, and with a few tries, he managed to open it succesfully making him grapple with a man inside.
The car swerves, tires screeching but Sirius kept his pace. He can see you struggling with your captors, and he can hear the backup seconds away. He couldn't wait, every second counts, anything could happen.
"Hang on!" Sirius shouts, with a burst of speed, the backup cars sandwiched the car with you inside, forcing it to halt. Sirius and Remus dismounted the motorbike, guns drawn.
"It's either you release her, or I'll kill all of you and blondie." He growls, referring to Lucius Malfoy who is also inside the car.
The situation was tense, but the arrival of their team shifted the balance. The henchmen, overwhelmed and outgunned, let you go, their plan thwarted. Keeping the Malfoy Heir safe is their top priority.
Dust settled down, and the other staff handled the situation, wrapping it up. Sirius stormy grey eyes met yours in the midst of chaos. His shoulder stung, a reminder of the events that had happened tonight, although it paled in comparison to the concern etched in his face as he rushes to you.
"You're not hurt, are you?" His voice was barely above a whisper as he scanned your form. Your eyes found its way on his injury, "No, I'm alright. But Sirius, you're hurt."
Sirius exhaled a breath he hadn't realized he'd been holding, and the world seems to slow down. "I'll live, darling. The important thing is that you're safe."
The sirens, flashing lights, and the buzz all seemed to fade out into the background as you stared into his eyes. Taking your hand in his, he placed it to his lips, pressing a kiss, his gaze never leaving yours.
"I was so afraid I'd lose you," he admitted, the vulnerability in his voice unlike anything you'd heard before. Sirius hugged you tightly, feeling him press a kiss against your hair as you leaned to his chest, listening to the steady thump of his heart.
"You'll never lose me. Never in a million years, how could you when you're always close to me?"

Your thoughts on Alfreds similarity to Arthur, their dynamic and their father-son relationshio is incredible and so very enjoyable! The way Arthur sees Alfred; his hyperindependent son who rejects his fathers ideas and uplifts his own ambitions, not understanding that while his own ambition and view of the world is not completely identical to his fathers, it's a mirror image in scale and vigour. It is the same old tale of the prince beheading the king, taking the crown and vowing to never become his father, only to come full circle and have his enemies tell him "you're just like him."
Alfred may be the "black sheep" of the family, but not even Arthur can hide his favoritism for the lad. His firstborn is more like him than anyone of his children, and that bears pride, yet fear as well.
Im just trying to say that if you had a million fans, I am one of them, if you had one fan, its me, if you had zero fans im dead. <3
thank you so much! (: in return, i have to say how much i love your art, especially of the pacific siblings + the old man. you bring them to life really beautifully.
and yes! i just love the excellent contradictions that come out when digging into arthur and alfred as a father-and-son dynamic. i enjoy putting a twist on the usual tropes of the 'black sheep' and 'golden boy/crown prince', where it's often two different siblings. here, out of the 🇺🇸🇨🇦🇦🇺🇳🇿 siblings, alfred is the black sheep and the crown prince. he is the estranged eldest brother who seemingly does whatever the hell he wants. he overshadows them all even in his absence. like, for Jack and Zee especially, it's not a flattering picture of Alfred they get from Arthur. Ungrateful wretch, fool of a lad, hotheaded and arrogant, a flash in the pan...etc etc. but even quite young, before WWI or WWII, they realise that Alfred is the only one of them Arthur truly sees as anything close to an equal. that contrast is sharpened by how Arthur treats Matt—who was the 'older brother' they actually knew: the otherwise competent shocktroop of empire and first dominion shouldering various responsibilities. to defy Arthur is to earn his enmity, but also the only way to earn his respect.
like most other nations who become empires—Arthur doesn't truly believe in heirs: the sun never sets on the british empire, no? and when you are an eldritch being given life by the power of human ideas, immortality is a possibility they can't help aspiring to, no matter how much history is littered with the rise and fall of nations once arrogant enough to believe themselves invincible. and Arthur, at the height of British power, allows himself to believe that. for all his shrewdness and study of history, he's not immune to being seduced by that possibility. why shouldn't his empire be different? driven by the power of industrial civilisation that Rome could never dream of. Arthur never wanted Alfred to be his heir because he would never relinquish power willingly (just as the British Empire did not give itself up until the combined weight of world war two, anti-colonial movements and bankruptcy broke its back), but with his defiance, Alfred is the only kind of heir he would respect.
It is the same old tale of the prince beheading the king, taking the crown and vowing to never become his father, only to come full circle and have his enemies tell him "you're just like him."
indeed! i always see a real Titanomachy theme between Arthur and Alfred for that reason; the British and American empires certainly loved to perceive themselves as heirs to classical antiquity after all. the Greek story of the war between the younger generation of Olympian gods and Titans to determine who would have dominion over the universe. Zeus, with his siblings, overthrows his father Cronus— in a manner of speaking, that is what happens with WWII. Alfred is both Arthur's deliverance (lend lease, d-day...) and the one who usurps him: America replacing Britain's prime role in the Pacific, reshaping and redefining alliances with Australia, New Zealand and Canada. in the eyes of many of the Old World nations, Alfred is his father's heir. to end off, here's a short snippet from a WIP i'm working on set during the American Civil War:
Arthur laughs. “Do I make you do anything anymore, Alfred? Didn't you throw away my name almost a century ago? Did you not loudly announce yourself as a maritime power? That huge uproar you created in the Far East? Bragging to me how you’d done what I failed, dragging another Old World nation out of isolation to rejoin the international community on the threat of war and glories of foreign commerce?” Alfred opens his mouth—to say something self-righteous and hypocritical, Arthur is certain—but then he lifts his chin coolly. “As opposed to the actual war you started in China? If anything, with the Treaty of Kanagawa, I proved how one could secure foreign trading interests with both firmness but far more civilisation. You and I," Alfred sneers, “are not the same.” “An unequal treaty is an unequal treaty— that I will not deny even if I will not give up its benefits. This world is not for soft men or women, and the old warlord that Yao is—he knows that well.” Arthur smiles sharply. “Do you hate the fact that when the other Old World nations look at you, they see my blood running in your veins?"
Arthur imo, is definitely that father who plays favourites. Alfred is his greatest disappointment but also the one he loves the most—in the dysfunctional way that a man who is an empire comes closest to loving the son who mirrors him the most in his pitiless ambition and cunning. Alfred sees himself as a genuine idealist, as someone struggling to be free of his father and all his bad traits, but when Alfred rises to power, Arthur believes he's the only one who truly understands him the most. It's almost the possessive element of 'I gave you life, I named you and made you what you are, and no matter how much you scorn my name, my influence will define you forever.' Father and son, king and crown prince, regicide and patricide—but also creator and his creation made in his image.

Hello, I was reading about the popularity aspect of H&M's delusions but I'm so surprised.
I wonder how Meghan could seriously think she would be a better royal ? Like, she didn't know british culture at all, and she was already clashing with some courtiers before the wedding, even before the engagement. That seems to me that it was a walking failure, how didn't she see it ?
More, the popularity is such a weak argument. Not only Charles is now King while beong less popular than his heir but at the time while being less popular than Harry, Catherine was already selling more than him. Even today a front cover with her will sell more. And in 2018 it seems to me that memorabilias of Louis' birth sold better than memorabilias of their wedding, so much that there wasn't even memorabilias made for Archie's birth. And William's words are taken more seriously. Like Harry says so much stupid things that goes into oblivion because in the greats scheme of things, no one cares but William's words are listened to and everyone want to have an opinion on it. So even with being more popular they were not more useful to UK's economy or soft power than Catherine and William.
How can someone be so much delusional to think it would work ?
I was in London in July 2018. Louis's new baby souvenirs were gone. Eugenie and Jack's wedding memorabilia was selling at a steady clip. Harry and Meghan's wedding collection was grossly marked down and not moving at all. I spoke to a shop assistant about how the sales were going and she said that the Sussex merch had drastically underperformed (i.e., the demand they expected was not there at all); so much so that smaller collections were ordered for Eugenie's wedding and those smaller collections were outselling what was left of the Sussexes.
As for why Meghan thought she could be a better royal - she completely bought into the "workshy Kate" criticism. All of her early PR was literally a point-by-point response to what people were complaining about Kate: she focuses too much on her clothes, she doesn't work enough, she's too shy, she doesn't like the media, she can't speak in public, she's too dependent on William, she's from a rich family what does she know about normal struggles, she has help, etc.
I suspect learning who the real Kate was is part of the culture shock Meghan had when she transplanted to the UK. Meghan probably assumed that she'd be competing with Media Punching Bag Kate for attention but when she got here and met the real Kate - Catalina de Medici / Catherine the Steel Marshmallow Daughter of Carole Middleton Kate, if you will - it was a rude awakening that she couldn't deal with and resorted to mean girl bullying tactics to force Kate back into the "Media Punching Bag Kate" role that Meghan's entire plan for royal success was contingent upon.

Here as a pallet cleanser: can you tell us about rex and bub's first relationships (either first hookup or first long term relationship)? What were they like, how old were each of them?
oh my god a genuine question... it's been 84 years (thank you)
Let's do Bub first: so Bub's age is kind of nebulous to me, so i can't give you a deifned number, but one of his first serious relationships was with Belphi, my blue Sloth devil.
Bub and Belphi are around the same age and were fledgling devils together back in Hell. In a lot of ways, they were together out of complacency. They found each other easy to be around, and their sins, Sloth and Gluttony, complimented each other in a way that made it easy to just chase oblivion together.
Bub saw their arrangement as a "friends with benefits" situation, someone to jack off with, a hole to fuck, a someone to get high with, a friend to lounge around and forget his responsibilities with.
But he also used Belphi as a shoulder to cry on. A source of comfort when he was feeling sorry for himself. Someone to make him feel strong when he felt weak.
Suffice it to say, Belphi saw more in their relationship.
Belphi saw Bub as his whole world.
In the current canon, Belphi is still desperately in love with Bub, but he is his embittered ex sworn on dragging him back to Hell himself. he feels betrayed that Bub left Hell and his duties to his kind for a human, let alone a famed demonslayer. It is Belphi's personal mission to kill them both.
But, being kind of devil he is...he'll get around to it. Eventually. Maybe... He's just not ready yet, you see!! (insert list of excuses here) Now, for Rex:
I haven't fully committed to this yet, but I am....really enjoying the angst potential of Rex having a wife and child. A comp-het betrothed wife he ran away from when he met Bub.
I think they were married when they were both 20. It was an arranged marriage, preordained by the Fontaine witchunters seeking to form good-will with an allied cleric clan. You see, Rex was in line to be the next leader of the Holy Fontaine Witchhunters and Slayers, and he would need to further secure his lineage with an heir, a family.
I actually tried designing his bride a while back. I took inspiration from various media-witches, but nothing really stuck for me.
anyways- his wife would've been a good Christian woman. Chaste, (ignore the titty-out sketches xjkfhgnx) dignified, gorgeous. She was funny, kind, sincere, but strong-willed and had back-bone. And she loved Rex.
And Rex really thought he loved her. Who wouldn't? She was a wonderful young woman, and he was really good at playing the part. Rex is nothing if not charming, and he had everyone convinced he was happy. Even himself. Everyone except for his wife, however.
His wife, (this poor woman who I have yet to design or name...) knew she never really had her husband's heart, and in a way, Rex knew that she knew. Without ever exchanging words, they just knew. She was supposed to be happy because she was the esteemed wife of the leader of the prestigious Fontaine Family, and he was supposed to be happy for being in such a great position of power with a beautiful wife and child.
And yet they were miserable.
It's easy to have a sexless marriage when you're in a god-fearing, sex-is-sin environment, so Rex aside from consummating his marriage, he was able to avoid the elephant in the room for as long as possible.
Until he met Bub, at least

Hopper Croakington II Headcanons:
His full name is Prince Hopper Thaddeus Croakington II.
He grew up in a southern US lifestyle. His mother especially embodied Southern hospitality and encouraged him to do the same. His father was more of a northern type but still very welcoming and amicable.
His family was on a reality show called “Keeping Up with the Croakingtons.” It’s the main reason why he’s socially awkward and anxious, due to cameras watching and following him. His “Frog-Poofing” was popular among fans, making him more and more anxious. The show finally ended after he started school, much to his and his mother’s relief.
He had a more pronounced stutter when he was little. He recited the Crooked Man poem to help him overcome it, but it still comes out sometimes.
The reason the kissing cure is not permanent (at least, for recent generations) is because the true antidote to the curse would be for the princess to kill Hopper. In the original story, the Frog Prince was thrown against a wall and killed, only to be resurrected as a human. Hopper is so scared of this happening that he’s convinced himself that he’ll break the curse when he finds the right princess.
He had a habit of eating bugs in human form when he was little.
He is a complete momma’s boy. His father was there, caring, and present in Hopper’s life, but he was always closer to his mother.
Hopper suffers from seasonal depression. Winter months make him feel sluggish, and he copes by eating. He undergoes light therapy to help with this.
He’s a fairly decent cook. He’s no Jack Horner, but he makes a mean pecan pie.
He had a bodyguard named Iron Henry. He was somewhat of a second father to Hopper growing up.
Hopper’s relative, the Toad King, is responsible for the genetic frog curse in Hopper’s family line. For whatever reason, he passed the legacy down to his niece/nephew instead of any direct heirs. He then placed the frog curse on the family himself, modifying it so that a princess’s kiss will only cause a temporary remedy. No one remembers why he did this, but Hopper has a deep resentment for toads because of it.
He is slightly farsighted.
He’s very athletic. He loves bookball especially. It’s something he and his dad bond over.
He has enormous feet.
He loves watching sitcoms from the 90s. His favorites are the Fresh Prince of Spel-Air, Prince Meets Kingdom, and Saved by the Wishing Well.
The frog curse in Hopper’s family is triggered by something the person must overcome. For Hopper, it’s his awkwardness.
He prefers writing over speaking. It helps him truly convey what he’s feeling without stumbling.
He is a very good poet, even in his human form.
While he’s afraid of many things, he has a particular fear of herons.
Hopper is gay, but he’s been told all his life that kissing the princess of his destiny will break his curse. He wants that to happen more than anything (and he doesn’t want to think about the other option) so he’s had to convince himself that he has to like girls. He latched onto Briar because he admires her confidence and ability to make friends with anyone.
Hopper’s dad never broke his frog curse, even though he found his princess and still loves her. The family pretends that this isn’t the case to keep up appearances, but Hopper does worry that he may never overcome his curse.

Part 23
November
As the train jolts to a stop, you shush the baby at your breast, hoping that it won’t jostle him awake. You’re glad to finally be back in Boston, and in only a matter of days you, Adam, and William, will be on a ship heading back to London. Two sets of blue eyes are waiting on the platform– searching the crowds amidst the smog from the train. You gesture to Claire to look out the window and watch as elation fills her, catching a tear falling down her cheek as she lays eyes on her family.
There is a hesitation for a moment before the two of you move from your seats.
The fire not only claimed the lives of the brothers that night, but also some of the new servants who were still unfamiliar with the layout of the manor. No one was entirely sure how many lives the fire claimed; all of the bodies were too damaged and disfigured by the fire for anyone to be able to tell one from the other.
You and Claire had been confined to the same boarding house that Adam had escaped to for several weeks while Bobby tried to salvage keepsakes from the Manor, and Mr. Finch sorted through John’s will, determining what was to be done with the Winchester Estate. You’d always known that the family were wealthy, but you hadn’t ever fully comprehended exactly how much money they had. John had made plans to ensure that you and Claire and your children were to be taken care of if something had ever happened to the brothers. However, you doubt that he’d expected for his sons to die the way they did.
You and Claire both only wanted one thing: to be reunited with your families. No one in town seemed to mourn the loss of the Winchesters, but there was gossip that made its way through as you and Claire kept up appearances of the heartbroken widows. There was no funeral to speak of, only two caskets filled with charred remains and the conflicted feeling of anguish and joy, knowing that now you and Claire could move on with your lives.
It took over a month to settle everything. While John had made contingencies for the brothers’ demises, you expect that he never imagined that they would die together, or within only a few months of his own untimely death. Adam could, according to Mr. Finch, lay claim to the Winchester fortune because John had left documentation that Adam was his bastard, but Adam declined, opting to let you and Claire split the money instead. With the estate finally settled, you were free to leave Kansas. Claire had written to her father, and the four of you made your way towards Boston.
You had barely made it out of Kansas when you’d gone into labor. William James Winchester came into the world screaming. A wave of emotions flowed through you as the wailing infant was placed in your arms, tears pressing against your eyes, and you let out a choked laugh as you realized that you’d finally fulfilled the Winchester's plan for you - a legitimate male heir. Dark chocolate eyes and tufts of dark brown hair answered the question that had been in the back of your mind ever since Adam informed you that the baby couldn’t be Sam’s. And though you hated to admit it, you were happy knowing that the father wasn’t your husband or his brother, but their father.
It took longer to recover from the birth than you’d expected, and the mental and physical exhaustion of being held prisoner by the Winchesters and your escape had finally caught up with you and Claire, as well. The decision was made to halt your journey until the end of October, giving you and Claire more time to recover before continuing on to Boston.
As Claire’s eyes lock with her father’s and brother’s, a smile that you haven’t seen in ages grows across her face. You know that she hadn’t explained everything that had happened during the year she’d been gone in her letter, unwilling to let them bear the burden or guilt of knowing that they easily could’ve spared her the trauma. You’d written a similar letter to your family, though you wonder if they would believe the half-truths that you spun. You aren’t even sure you care.
You had early on in your captivity come to terms with the fact that while your parents hadn’t–at least you hoped–known what plans the Winchesters had for you, they had still abandoned you. Part of you wonders exactly what John had said to your father to make him agree to allow you to marry a complete and total stranger. You suspect that he’d offered to pay off their debts, after all that’s why you were at court that evening–to find a prospective husband who could help your family with their debts.
Tears fill your eyes as you watch Claire reunite with her family. Captain Novak’s lip quivers as she shows off baby Amelia, pressing a kiss to Claire’s forehead as she wraps her arms around him. You and Adam stay back, giving the family time to themselves, before Claire calls you over. There’s a flush on Jack’s cheeks as his eyes meet yours, and part of you wants to assure him that you understand that what happened between you was not his fault, but John’s.
You spend the next few days helping Claire get reacquainted with her family, assuring her that you and she are bonded for life, and that once the children get older, you can visit each other and, when the time comes, explain their parentage. The two of you promise to write at least once a week, and you tell her that no matter what, she’ll always be your sister.
Tears are aplenty as you arrive at the docks. With The Perdition no longer making transatlantic voyages, Adam books you on The Wayward, a much faster ship not much bigger than the Novak's, and promises you will be home in less than a week. When you arrived in Boston, the three of you didn’t have much more in the way of luggage than the clothes on your back, but as you board, you need two extra deckhands to help bring everything to your staterooms.
With a tearfilled final hug, and a last look at Amelia, you and Claire reiterate your promise to see each other again as you're told you must start boarding. You push William’s pram up the walkway, Adam’s arm linked around yours to keep you steady as you say goodbye to America and the horrors that it brought you.
Before stepping onto the deck of the ship, you turn around a final time so that you can give Claire another wave, but instead of finding her, your eyes land on a pair of green ones. You lose your footing, nearly falling off the ramp and into the water, with only Adam’s arms keeping you from doing so.
“Y/N!” he exclaims as he pulls you back to your feet, face filled with concern.
“I saw–”
Your breath hitches, heart pounding in your chest. It isn’t possible. He is dead. Buried. There is no way he could’ve survived the fire. And if he had somehow managed to, why would he wait months to come find you and your son? You look back out onto the dock. Maybe your eyes are playing tricks on you. You can’t go back, not when you are so close to escaping for good.
For a moment, you convince yourself that it was nothing–an illusion–but as you start to turn, he’s there, watching from only a few yards from where Claire is standing. His eyes lock on yours as terror fills you, and you want to scream a warning to Claire. How doesn’t she see him? How can’t Adam? Before you can make any decision, Dean gives you a sad smile and a small nod before disappearing into the crowd.
“What, Kitten?” Adam turns you to face him. “What did you see?”
When you look out onto the dock, Dean has disappeared. The Novaks give another wave, and you decide that what you saw wasn’t him, but a figment of your imagination.
“Nothing,” you shake your head. “I’m just– I’m tired, and ready to go home.”
Adam links his arm in yours and presses a kiss onto your forehead as he leads you up the ramp once again. Stepping onto The Wayward, you decide to leave all memories of the Winchesters behind you, instead, focusing on your new life with Adam and William, and being reunited with your family.
But as you settle into your room that night with Adam, those green eyes still haunt you. You’re mine, sweetheart, echoes in your ear when you finally drift off to sleep.
Feedback is fuel! Please tell me what you think!

not the claire jack beef anon BUT i also think that they would have issues with each other at least at first. like, for one, that we see, cas never gives jack The Talk about claire, or vice versa, so they would absolutely see the other as this second secret family. dean also has a CLEAR favorite between the two, and each kind of lives the other's dream life. jack wants to be safe and loved unconditionally, and a chance at a normal life, like claire has with jody, donna, alex, patience, and wendy. claire is incapable of slowing down and wants the big adventures cas, sam, and dean get into. claire i think has maybe forgiven cas about jimmy, but being dumped in favor of this other kid, the child of the devil (who canonically killed jimmy!) might be a bridge too far and jack doesn't respond all that well to that kind of discomfort and misplace hostility.
I love your conceptualization of the vibes being reminiscent of the Secret Second Family. It also calls to mind an echo of Adam & Kate Milligan, doesn't it, even though it's not an exact one-to-one? It's uncomfortable. I like it.
Yes, Claire and Dean get along like hot jam on fire, and that's going to hurt, no matter how you slice it. Dean adores her.
And yes, you know, now that you mention it... Holy crap. Claire does have the life Jack wants. She's surrounded by a big family that loves her with built-in friends her own age that Get The Life. Absolutely, it would appear perfect to him, at least from the outside. I'm wholly accepting that little gem into my worldview.
And yes, it's a good observation that Jack doesn't respond all that well to that misplaced hostility. He can be very defensive.
And yes, I agree that this whole situation might be a step too far for Claire Powder-keg-Novak, even if she tries to swallow it down. I mean, she still sleeps with Grumpy Cat. In the 12x16 Ladies Drink Free script, Cas still emojis to her, sometimes, even two years out from their parting of ways.
She left them. Of course, she doesn't care. That's what she's going to tell herself, anyway.
CLAIRE: Who's Jack? ALEX/JODY (together): Lucifer's son. On Patience, silently reacting to that: Lucifer's son? What the fuck? On Claire-- a bit wounded to realize she knows so little about Sam and Dean these days.

medieval au!!!!!
youre a princess whose been of marriageable age for several years now and your parents have stopped enabling you and demanded you marry and pick out a handful of suitors and demand you choose one and you know theyre hoping you choose spencer, a genius philosopher whose advice has never lead to wrongdoing, or derek, a handsome knight who has led the kingdoms armys through several successful battles, because they consider them "better" so purely to spite them you choose aaron, the widowed duke of a neighboring city whose alliance to your kingdom is very important.
so you choose aaron but make it clear you're marrying out of duty to your family and not for love so he shouldnt expect anything from you and he just agrees and youre shook because he doesnt even seem surprised?? and hes like "i already have a son for an heir so you dont have to bear me children or even consummate the marriage if you dont want to" and youre like ??? why are you here you really dont seem like you even want to get married?? so he tells you that his advisors have been pushing him to remarry since the year his wife died and that he knows he cant run his city alone anymore plus his son deserves to have a mother figure and you guys make an agreement to marry and that youll do your duty to the throne and care for his son and in return he leaves you to youre own devices and doesnt control youre every move like your parents do.
so you go back to his city with him to stay with him during your "courting period" and you bond so quickly with jack because hes so sweet and precious and you fall in love frfr with that kid and aaron is soooo relieved because he didnt think any woman would want to marry someone so much older than them and have to raise another womans child. and you learn quickly about how the city is run and the ins and outs of what your responsibilities as the dutchess of the city will be. and as you slowly spend more time with aaron the two of you start to fall in love organically.
and its funny because by the time your wedding actually takes place you kind of cant wait to be married and to be able to have aaron and jack by your side forever. and you definitely do end up consummating the marriage. very passionately. (perks of marrying an experienced man is that he knows how to make a lady scream) and your parents are still shocked that you're actually willingly marrying a man. but they stop complaining about your choice in marriage when you welcome yours and aarons precious baby girl 💖
Omg I love this !! He would be such a sweetheart 😭😭😭😭🥺🥺🥺🥺🥺 this would be such a good series for someone to write I gotta say KSKSSKSKS
um I don't wanna be annoying but the last bit :( it does go against one of my rules, no pregnancy stuff I'm sorry 😭

What if Prince Joseph got tired of being treated badly and decided to be the ruler if the kingdom by any means necessary. As revenge on how badly his family treated him and succeeded, way before they tried to assassinate him. How would the story go from there?
Hmm... that would be an interesting twist on the tale. Rather than waiting until he becomes the all powerful dragon Jack to take back the throne, Joseph instead takes the initiative while he was still human. It might stop Joseph from being cursed into a dragon in the first place, or maybe destiny will force its hand to ensure that he meets with a draconic fate regardless...
As things currently stand in the timeline I set up, Joseph lived in an era long before the other love interests and MC were born. Either something still happens that allows him to encounter them later, possibly even reincarnation, or maybe, just maybe I can take this chance to flip the script a little.
But let's first focus on the tale of the unwanted prince who came to rule a kingdom.
From Prince to King
Joseph did his best to earn his family's love, but their cruelty towards him was too much for him to ignore. It left scars on his heart and twisted it. It wasn't just cruelty towards him either, as the family were tyrannical rulers to their subjects. In order to escape the abuse at the hands of his family and the cutthroat court politics, he took advantage of them wanting him to "live like a dead rat" and snuck out of the castle often while growing up.
Once leaving the castle, Joseph got to see what it was like for the rest of the kingdom, the suffering the people endued. His world expanded as he met more people and learned of new experiences, other ways to live, and learned more about all the injustices that his family were responsible creating. He knew that it wasn't going to get better with the future heir, or even the next in line after them.
Nothing would change... unless Joseph forced it to change.
Joseph, like many nobles, had learned how to sword fight, and he was good at it. His skill in battle was one of the many ways he tried to seek the approval of his family. He put those skills to use when he secretly gathered an army of rebels and launched a coup.
It wasn't an easy decision for Joseph to make, turning his sword and the hatred of the people on his family. Unfortunately a strong love can be twisted into hatred that is just as strong, especially when all the love he gave them was only met with cruelty and scorn in return. All of the suffering he and the citizens faced were returned tenfold.
Joseph was a hero to the people who freed them from tyranny, while still being of royal blood, and thus being worthy of the divine right to rule. Regardless of whether he ever felt worthy of the crown, he had no choice but to wear it, or risk seeing the entire country fall into anarchy. Without a ruler to guide them, the various factions would splinter and squabble with one another to fill the power vacuum left behind leading to more and more bloodshed.
Being king wasn't easy for Joseph, especially at such a young age. He was still a teen at the time, but things had escalated far faster than he ever expected. It was a miracle that things didn't go worse than they did, really.
Joseph's education never focused on preparing him to rule. If anything, such an idea was actively discouraged at every turn. Still, he had a good overall education, and he learned so much from his time with the people. If anything, learning firsthand about the needs of the kingdom was a far better teacher than any tutor had ever been.
Of course... learning by doing means learning from mistakes, and Joseph is a man who has made many mistakes in his life...
So now that Joseph is king with his family deposed, in a way he feels more lonely than ever. He made comrades, but there's a distance between them now as he has to rule. He now lives with the memory of the people he killed during the coup, including members of his family. He had to order and watch the executions of those who survived the coup, but were still too dangerous to live.
Joseph has so much blood on his hands, but it was worth it... right? The people of the kingdom are happier now, right? He'll do better than his family did. He must do better.
Right?
Joseph is a hero to the people, but he's also under so much scrutiny. His power is balanced on the edge of a sword. As long as he can prove himself to be better than the rest of his now dead family, he can redeem his family name and lead the kingdom into a better future. As long as he makes the people happy, he will be loved, even if only at a distance as their king.
After everything Joseph went through, after all he sacrificed and the guilt that weighs on him for all the lives he took, he is more desperate than ever to keep the love and admiration he achieved. It's the only love he's ever really known.
Now... we could stick with the timeline as is from the original post, with MC and the others being born much later and something unfortunate happens to Joseph to encounter them later on, orrrrrrr... perhaps the universe will give the rest of the cast some different roles to fill.
It seems a shame that a dragon AU is without a dragon, so how about we flip the script? MC gets to be the dragon in this telling of the tale. However, unlike Jack, they were born a dragon rather than cursed to become one.
So let's turn back the clock a bit to mingle together a familiar set up with a few new twists, shall we?
A Lonely Dragon
Now, since MC has a vague background by design in order for us to fill in the details, I'll start off with just the broadest of strokes before I get a bit more specific with my version of the MC, Alice.
As was touched on in the previous post, dragons are beings made of magic. They also tend to be solitary creatures, beings so powerful that they can affect the land around them. This can lead to quite a lonely life, which is often filled by creating a horde of treasure. It doesn't necessarily have to be a horde of gold. A dragon can collect anything it wants. Who is going to stop them?
Dragons, of course, come in all sorts of shape, sizes, colors, and powers. This leaves so many possibilities for the MC, but in general, they're a creature to be feared, and many choose to leave them alone.
Humans also often want to slay these powerful beasts, especially if they are a threat... or simply perceived as a threat.
When MC was young, they came across a human that was just as much of a child as they were. Young Ian, the child of a noble, was in awe of the young dragon. An unlikely friendship developed between them, and strong feelings of loyalty, even love grew...
But sadly the happiness of youth can't last forever. Things fell apart when MC and Ian were adults. Sure, Ian could have cheated, but even if he didn't, he betrayed them in a way that they may never forgive.
A dragon, when young, is much more vulnerable than an adult. It can lead them to making foolish decisions, giving their weakness to someone they trust with all their heart, leaving themselves vulnerable... and if the person they trusted was swayed by others, it can lead to disaster.
Ian was always weak to his mother. It's just as much a fact in this universe as it is in the game. Dragons have a beastly reputation, fierce and terrible. They're the monsters to be slain in many a tale.
But MC is different! Ian tells himself. He tells his mom this too. He tells everyone in the mob that quickly forms to slay the dragon before it can raze their land to cinders and gobble them all up for its supper.
Maybe MC trusted Ian with a special tool or magical item to protect himself. Maybe they even went so far as to trust Ian with a piece of themselves, something that made them vulnerable, like a magical item crafted from their own magic, scales, whatever. Maybe they forced Ian to tell them a secret weakness. Maybe they were just caught off guard, having never expected the invasion.
Maybe they didn't want to hurt anyone...
In any case, MC was ill prepared for the band of stalwart adventurers to raid their lair and come for their head. The battle was gruesome, forcing them to flee, but outside of the cave an angry mob was waiting to strike the dragon at its weakest.
Ian had tried to reach MC, to warn them. Perhaps his warning was the only reason why they survived the attack from the band of adventurers in the first place.
Regardless, his betrayal cut MC deep, as did the many wounds from the battle, and they were forced to abandon the home they made for themselves. They lost whatever friendships and bonds they forged, betrayed by the one they loved and trusted most.
Embittered by the experience, MC left to find a new place to call home.
Ian wasn't the only friend MC had made in their old home. Shaun had one day stumbled across the dragon's den and was excited to meet a dragon in the flesh. Shaun was a scholar, wanting to wander the world and study its wonders, and meeting an actual dragon was like a dream come true. MC, having grown up with the friendship of Ian, became fast friends with Shaun.
Maybe Shaun helped MC escape from the mob that fateful night. Maybe he managed to at least misdirect them. Maybe he arrived only in the aftermath, learning only afterwards of Ian's betrayal. I lean towards Shaun managing to help in some way.
The new lair MC finds is so much emptier than their old home. They lost everything. Embittered and in hiding, they have lost much of their trust. Although Ian tried to redeem his betrayal, it still cut so deep. It makes them question their friendships will all humans, and they keep their distance from even Shaun for a while.
Of course, being a giant dragon is conspicuous. Fortunately, since dragons are beings made of magic, they can learn magical spells. A spell that can transform them into a human temporarily will allow them to blend in the nearby town to get supplies, and slip away to build a new home far from anyone who might hurt them again.
The merchant MC most often has to haggle with is Barry, who works in the adventurer's guild buying and selling from adventurers. It's obnoxious how the man seems to wrangle them into doing fetch quests for him. Still, with almost nothing to their name, and not wanting to face another mob by doing anything conspicuous, they play along, grudgingly. Still, fetching a bunch of goblin ears is less annoying than singing some embarrassing song for a few coins.
Nick is a bard in the town. He came across MC during one of their stints having to do one of these embarrassing singing requests at the guild's tavern. Being seen by anyone during these times was mortifying. How far the mighty dragon had fallen... but they found Nick to be a bit awkward as well during their interactions. It was almost... charming? Well, maybe a little comforting that they weren't the only one facing embarrassment. Maybe
Still, being around humans is hard for MC after what they've been through. They're constantly on edge, especially during the few times they visit any human settlements. They need to make sure they pass as human and not let anything slip of their true nature. They can never trust anyone like they did Ian ever again. They can never allow anyone to hurt them like Ian did ever again...
A Fateful Encounter
Joseph is an active ruler to his kingdom, constantly going out of the castle to ensure that things in the aftermath of the coup settle peacefully. He's constantly coming across people, having to meet and memorize countless faces. There are so many problems to resolve, tasks to delegate, and changes to be made from the regime that made everything so hard. It's exhausting work, and it seems never ending...
During a stressful period during his rule, one of Joseph's advisors suggest that he remind the people of the glory he showed them on the battlefield. Maybe defeating another threat to the country will quell any unrest before it could potentially bubble up into another coup...
Frankly, Joseph would rather avoid that. He already has so much blood on his hands, so much guilt. The sins he committed haunt his nightmares, making it even harder for him to find rest.
But Joseph can't rest, not really. He can't lose the fragile love of the people, the legacy he's carved for himself. He can't be forgotten again...
Sometimes Joseph left the palace in disguise, much like he did when he was younger. On that day, he used the alias of Jack and a little magic to look differently, turning his hair a pretty shade of blue while covering up the magical tattoos on his body. He used different disguises and aliases over the years. It helped him get a clearer picture of what the people actually thought of him and the country for himself.
It was a chance encounter. A dragon and a king both in disguise in a little shop of old things, antiques and curios.
The dragon had gone there to see if they could find anything interesting, something to add to their particular type of hoard perhaps. All dragons have the desire to hoard, and they lost theirs when they fled their old home. Slowly, they were building it back up, but it would take time, as they lost a collection that they had been building since they were a child, many sentimental pieces as well.
Sure, the dragon could probably steal stuff for their hoard, turn into their big powerful form and threaten anyone to take what they wanted, but they weren't that sort of person really. Plus, after their near encounter with death, they weren't too keen to get into another battle anytime soon. Though some MCs might be gearing up for a battle of revenge should they be o the mind to do so, while others could be much too much of a pacifist to consider it.
Regardless, while the dragon was thinking heavy thoughts about their future, they accidentally bumped into a stack of children's toys. A colorful box fell into another person who had been talking with the shopkeeper, and burst open, revealing a jester on a spring with a bright and shiny smile that startled them both.
Jack reacted quickly when something fell on him, as he was used to combat. Fortunately he refrained from doing anything more besides catching the box that hit him, though he did flinch when it burst open and revealed the jester inside. He chuckled a little and cautioned the person who knocked it over to be careful. He even added a silly little joke to ease the tension.
Despite his charms, MC was on edge against strange new humans, suspicious of anyone who approached them. They cautiously were cordial, giving their name when asked after Jack introduced himself, but they tried to end the counter quickly.
There was something compelling about this person, though Jack couldn't quite put his finger on what it was. There was something different about them. Maybe it had to do with all his years of training to fight giving him a sensitivity to people and things that were powerful or unusual, maybe he had become sensitive to mana due to training with magic in combat mighty enough to conquer a kingdom. Whatever the case, Jack couldn't help but be drawn to MC, wanting to learn more about them.
Though MC attempted to leave quickly without raising suspicion, Jack kept talking. He was strange - sort of charming but annoying by how he kept wanting to keep the conversation going. His silly jokes got groans, but his sincere concern about how they seemed to be having a bad day touched them, which left them with mixed feelings overall.
The encounter was only interrupted when MC spotted something among the various knickknacks of the shop - it was an item they recognized, a treasured item from their hoard, maybe even the most treasured possession they owned. Maybe it was simply a replica, or maybe one of the adventurers that raided their lair sold it to the shop. Regardless of what it was, MC had to have it.
It was just a shame that the price was outrageously expensive.
MC felt their frustration grow from the injustice of it all, compounded by the awkward situation. Why should they have to pretend to be something they're not? Why should they hide like this? Why should they hold back just because a bunch of humans decided they and all their kind deserved to die for no reason other than the fact that they were born? It just wasn't fair, and no one seemed to care at all.
Jack saw the mixture of emotion pass over MC's face, and it reminded him of those days where he felt similarly helpless and wanting. Caught on an impulse, he purchased the item MC wanted desperately and gave it to them, thanking them for keeping him entertained that afternoon with their company.
MC was caught off guard, expecting a trick. What was the catch? They can't just accept this for free. Nothing this good is ever free.
While it had been just an impulsive kind gesture, Jack was never one to pass up an opportunity. He wanted to know more about MC and what it was about them that drew him to them so much, so he decided to make it into a little game.
Well, to Jack it was a game, but MC didn't have to know about that just yet. He had other places that he wanted to visit that day, things he wanted to check. He claimed to be a swordsman with tasks to complete, and if MC helped him, he would gladly give them the item they wanted so desperately.
The tasks seemed simple enough. Though wary, MC agreed.
What followed was a day around the city. While Jack claimed that he had important places to be, it always seemed to involve stopping by to help someone out, usually some sort of coincidence that clearly couldn't have been intentional. Jack brushed aside such concerns by claiming that, well, since they're there, they might as well do a good deed or two for those who need it, right?
The day out with Jack forced MC to spend time with them and the humans that they were so wary of. It was an uncomfortable reminder to MC of the kinder side of humanity. It reminded them of the friendships they made, particularly with Ian and Shaun, even if the former ended badly. It was painful, but Jack noticed whenever they were down and always tried to cheer them up.
It was actually kind of nice being cared for like this, even if it was only because of the deal they made. Even if Jack had no idea what MC truly was. Even if MC was scared to trust humans again.
It was when the sun was starting to set that Jack sadly knew that their little game had come to its end, though he felt reluctant to go. He had grown fond of MC in their short time together, and there was still something about them that was nagging at him, something that told him not to let them go so easily. But even as they got used to his presence, they were still clearly uncomfortable around people.
This was what led to their final stop leading them outside of town. Jack had heard mention of some sort of animal being spotted at night off in the woods. He wanted to check it out before heading back to the castle, but he couldn't force MC to go someplace potentially dangerous.
It was a shame to part ways, but Jack ran out of excuses to keep MC around that didn't involve keeping the item they were so desperate to have. He could at least try to get a promise that they would meet again, though he couldn't be sure if MC agreed sincerely or if they just agreed for the sake of getting the treasure that he promised them.
Jack did consider ways to ensure that they would meet again despite their reluctance, when MC suddenly bristled, instantly on edge. He realized only a moment later what they had sensed - some sort of monster charging towards them.
MC, having the sharp senses of a dragon could detect the tainted magic of a monster instantly. They were then left with a problem. Do they fight and risk revealing their real identity, or do they run and leave Jack at the mercy of whatever beast was coming at them?
Jack, not knowing the internal debate, immediately moved to defend MC, drawing his sword, which they had not even realized he was carrying due to him hiding it.
When the monster revealed itself, it was something MC had encountered before, something they knew how to defeat with their abilities, but humans... well they tended to have trouble with this type of monster. This monster also enjoyed doing awful things to humans while in the process of eating them... delivering a terrible fate that no being should endure.
And here's this foolish, goofy, smiling fool of a human thinking that he can kill it with a sword when only magic could?
MC could abandon Jack of course, but even if their heart was harder than others, the afternoon with him reminded them of the good side of humanity. Then of course there's the MCs who wouldn't hesitate to save someone when they knew they could change their terrible fate, even if it meant exposing their secret.
Needless to say, Jack was not expecting to be saved by a dragon. MC, knowing how to handle this type of monster, dispatched it quickly, and consumed it along with its magic, making themselves more powerful in the process.
Of course, MC didn't expect to be thanked. They expected Jack to point the sword at them next, declaring them to be the monster like so many had in the past.
What MC didn't expect was Jack to ask if they were okay after that.
Jack, by this point, had learned how to act, hiding much of his feelings and intentions behind whatever emotion he needed to wear at the time. It was essential as a king in order to deal with various people. Though the appearance of a dragon was unexpected and alarming, at the same time MC was surprisingly beautiful.
Oh, sure they were beautiful in their human form, but in the sparkling hues of the setting sun, they practically glowed even brighter than the sun ever could. MC had been charming during their encounter, ferocious and powerful when defeating the monster, and now... vulnerable. It was that same sort of wary vulnerability that he saw before when they first met.
Jack talked to MC the same way he did when they were in human form, and it was surprising to them. Everyone who had seen them in their true form for the first time always had a big shocked reaction, whether that was excitement or fear. Jack was so calm, and surprisingly warm.
It felt... nice, confusing, scary, and all sorts of emotions for MC.
Of course, such a big battle drew attention of other people. The sound of approaching humans coupled with these emotions were too much for MC, and the reveal left them too vulnerable, so they fled despite Jack calling after them to come back.
What a shame that MC left behind not only the important treasure Jack promised to give them, but a few other of their important items as well. Luckily their new friend Jack would keep them safe until the two of them could meet again.
And they certainly would meet again. Jack would make sure of it.
What is a Dragon to a King?
Well now, Joseph had a conundrum on his hands. A dragon, a mythical beast of great ferocity and power was masquerading around in his kingdom as a human. A "good" ruler would be expected to order knights and adventurers to slay the "wicked" monster before it could lay waste to the kingdom and consumed any of the innocent people.
Yet, MC was nothing like those tales. Really, were there any stories of dragons pretending to be human? They were powerful creatures, the the most powerful some might say, with bodies made of magic that could be harvested for incredible potions and magical tools. Their bodies alone were worth a fortune, to say nothing of the treasure they guarded. For as dangerous as they were, they offered riches beyond compare.
Funny... how a rich and powerful dragon fumbled around in a shop and lamented the price of a single trinket. The rest of their behavior that day defied all the tales as well. MC was just like any normal human, distrustful and wary, but noble. They revealed their true nature to save Jack, a mere human that should have been nothing more than cattle to slaughter to such a creature. Dragons were widely known for arrogance and greed, for regarding humans as beneath them.
Joseph had to admit that MC had interested him even before their true nature was revealed, and after it was, he saw the beauty in their inhuman form. There was nobility in MC as well, shown in that single act of bravery and kindness, as well as all the other little moments throughout the day. Though Jack may have dragged them around reluctantly, in the end MC did help him assist others. They had rather fun day together in fact.
Aside from his feelings, Joseph has a duty to his kingdom. He has to keep his subjects safe from potential dangers.
Does MC count as one of those subjects then?
If people learned of a dragon nearby, let alone secretly infiltrating the capital city, there would be riots. This is especially a dangerous thing in a country that only recently stabilized from a drastic shift in power and civil unrest. The monster that had suddenly appeared to attack Joseph and MC had been alarming enough. Adventurers were scouring the nearby woods for any others.
What if one of those parties found the dragon? The fear rumbling through the land would erupt into a full blown panic, and MC would be facing an angry mob out for blood.
Joseph didn't want to think of what would happen then to MC and the rest of his people. He had to protect them, all of them.
Even if that meant doing things that could be cruel to some... but he was used to it. Joseph's hands were already irrevocably stained with sin after all.
Joseph worked with the mages and his most trusted advisors to come up with a cunning plan. A stealth party tracked down MC's lair and a trap was laid.
MC would have fled the area if they could, but with the increased patrols due to the monster attack, they couldn't go far. They were afraid of going out in their human form for fear that Jack spread news far and wide about their true identity. They had hoped to lay low and wait until things calmed down before slipping out of the country.
It was a shame that they had to leave behind another home, but MC didn't have any other choice.
Well, at least they would have if they didn't get an unexpected visitor.
Jack showed up unexpectedly to MC's lair, much to their shock. He approached while speaking in soothing tones, saying that he had looked for them all over and that he had been so worried about them. He didn't mean any harm. He wanted to thank them for saving him, and he owed them something. He presented the treasure he promised them, a peace offering.
MC was hesitant, wary, but also painfully lonely. Despite knowing their real identity, Jack was so gentle and kind. It made them waver.
Jack offered to be MC's friend, to give them a place to stay, to belong. He could keep their secret and make sure no one hurt them. They just had to trust him.
Here would be a decision for MC to make - take a risk and trust Jack, or reject him outright. If they agree, even hesitantly, they could even lie just to trick him and flee into the night.
Well... if Jack would let them get away from him that is.
The events of that night are a blur. Whatever happened, the trap Jack laid... it wound up with MC waking up in the palace, forgetting the night before entirely. There, they were bound by enchanted chains, and informed that they belonged to the king now. So long as the dragon obeyed the king for the good of the country and its citizens, it would be allowed to live.
Surrounded by so many wary eyes, seeing MC as a beast, chained up in their true form... it was a nightmare.
This, unfortunately, was for optics and the fearful human citizens. The people were scared of a giant dragon. Only this show of absolute obedience would prevent an angry mob from trying to slay MC. MC, understandably, was enraged at the assertion that they were now the pet of the king, but their own magic was turned against them to force their obedience.
Joseph hadn't wanted to use such forceful methods. He hoped that over time he could calm MC's anger, and those of the people. He wanted to quell all the hurt and fear, and maybe help both sides see that a dragon living in the kingdom among humans could be the best thing to happen to both.
His methods might be cruel and manipulative, but it was all for the sake of everyone's happiness and the safety and peace of the kingdom that Joseph was tasked to maintain.
Of course, Joseph knew that MC hated the king for capturing them and putting them in this position, so he used his alter ego as Jack to try and grow closer to them as a person. He carefully avoided directly lying, but left important details out. MC was suspicious when Jack showed up of course, even if they didn't remember the trap, even when he still acted so kind and gentle.
Jack explained the reason the king ordered MC's capture... how once the people learned of a dragon they wouldn't rest until its death. The kingdom that tried to kill MC before were still trying to find them. There was a bounty on their head. Being the king's "pet" was the only way to protect MC from the scared humans. If the king had control over the terrifying dragon, then it would lessen their fear. It would allow them time to see MC isn't a scary monster, but a friend they just hadn't met yet.
In essence, Jack was trying to soften MC's opinion of the king and sound them out while explaining his reasoning. MC was still, understandably, very pissed that their freedom was taken away from them.
So what was Jack's role in things, MC accused, suspecting betrayal once again. He was careful not to lie, claiming that he came upon hearing MC's capture. (Technically true, since he came after they secured MC after the trap was sprung.) He knew they weren't a danger since they saved him from the monster, and, well... after the day they spent together, he felt like they became friends.
Jack claims that he talked with officials and mages and vouched for MC's character (true) and he was willing to take the chance to prove MC was a good person regardless of whether they were human or not, so he offered to be MC's guardian. (Also true, considering king's pet and all.) He would watch out for them and give them a chance to prove themselves to everyone just how good a person they were and that the humans had nothing to fear.
MC isn't really given much of a choice.
From here it's up to Jack to try and befriend MC despite the circumstances. Strangely enough (at least to MC), they never meet King Joseph face to face, and the orders they're given are surprisingly mild. In fact, they're given a surprising amount of freedom... provided Jack is the one in control of the magical restraints.
Really, there could be a way for MC not to have magical restraints if they make a pact with Jack outright that binds them together to ensure they won't be a danger. It's probably better than being in chains and it would allow them more freedom, which Jack very much wants... though it would also make sure they can't run away from him, which he also very much wants.
Jack does his best to give MC as much freedom as he can, while being aware of how it appears to others. He needs everyone to believe he has MC totally under control if he's to keep them safe. He also wants to make sure MC is happy and make up for his deception and keeping them on a leash.
How the other love interests come in would be due to word spreading quickly of the king's pet dragon. Shaun and Ian would instantly hear the word "dragon" and rush over, wondering if it's MC. They would then try to come up with their own plans to escape with MC, or at least communicate with them. Ian wants to so badly make amends for betraying them so long ago, and Shaun wants to help his friend who doesn't deserve to be in chains!
Nick comes back into the story by somehow managing to make the connection between MC the human he encountered a few times and crushed on, and the dragon the king took as a pet. With his connections to nobility, he arranges meetings with MC whenever he can. How their relationship develops from there is a question for another day, same with how Jack might find Nick's presence a help or a threat.
Here in lies all the different potential routes MC's story could take. Do they trust Jack, King Joseph, and the rest of the kingdom? Will Nick win their heart? Will Ian redeem himself? Will Shaun free them and run away with them?
Naturally, the love interests do see the beauty in the "beast" and are fond of MC no matter the form they take. This leads to potential romance routes as well.
A Dragon Named Alice
Of course, you know me and my love of my OTP. Jack and Alice are endgame. Well, Alice and Joseph in this case. With the general gist of the MC's story out of the way, let's play with how Alice would shape some of the details just by being herself.
The type of dragon Alice is would be a furry dragon, soft and deceptively cuddly. I am forever a Lunar Silver Star/Eternal Blue fan, so I imagine she would look a lot like Nall in his dragon forms, both baby and adult, only totally white. Well... maybe a bit softer in shape and details like Ruby is, but still all white. She would still be albino in this world, with the same light blue eyes. For a dragon she's small, but even when compared to a human she's fairly large.
Alice would be a bit chubbier than Nall here, maybe a touch more cat or bunny-like in shape, but also even cuddlier than he looks.
Alice still comes from a large family in this universe. Dragons are powerful beings, affecting the natural magic in the land and ley lines around them, so it's best if they live spread apart. Too much magic in an area could warp and change it in unexpected ways and turn the land strange. Like, say, the cursed dark woods from the dragon Jack AU? ;3
So dragons tend to live alone or in very small groups of 2 or 3. The exception being temporary gatherings, such as special events or while raising their children.
Even as a dragon, Alice is the oldest child. Sadly, as oldest, she was expected to leave the nest first. She went off on her own at a young age because she had made a friend during her adventures in her childhood.
Alice came across Ian one day while flying around on her own, just having fun zipping around in the sky. She spotted him despite his attempts to hide in some foliage. He had been bullied by some kids. She heard him cry and felt bad for him. Innocently she went to cheer him up, despite her parents' warnings to be wary of humans. Ian just looked so small, pitiful, and harmless. He was so wounded and her heart went out to him.
Ian was amazed to meet a young dragon, though Alice looked quite a bit like a flying cat. (I make no apologies for my love of the Lunar dragon aesthetic and how it influences me to this day.) It was a wonderous first meeting, and from there they became fast friends, meeting in secret when Alice could travel to meet him. When she was finally old enough to live on her own, she went to create a lair near where Ian lived so that they could see each other all the time.
It's such a shame that Ian let the secret slip. Alice is a gentle soul, even as a dragon, and she nearly died when the adventurers attacked her cave. It was only with Shaun's help, and her transforming into her baby dragon form due to using up nearly all of her magic in the battle, that she escaped with her life.
Though Alice had fallen in love with Ian, his betrayal cut her too deep to trust him again, even when he found her and apologized. She couldn't stand to be near him after he destroyed her trust and scarred her heart so badly, so she left, never to return.
It was some time before Alice recovered enough to try again to make a home for herself. She lost everything when her home was raided, leaving her to start again entirely from scratch. Her hoard wasn't as rich in treasures as other dragons, but she crafted beautiful trinkets made of gemstone and gold as a hobby, one she learned from her father, and she had an entire library filled with books, many old and valuable ones.
The most precious item that Alice had lost was a pendant her father made out of a blue rose that her mother grew with magic. The pendant wasn't terribly powerful, even though it was magical, but it was sentimental and beautiful. She never thought that she would find it or anything else she lost in that raid ever again.
Alice did consider going back to her family... but at the same time she felt like she couldn't. She trusted a human despite the warnings she grew up with, and paid the price for it. She felt ashamed, as though she couldn't go back to see any of them until she redeemed herself... somehow. The problem was that she wasn't sure how.
Needless to say, when Alice's random trip into an antique shop led to the discovery of her lost pendant, she was shocked. It made her almost forget about trying to end the conversation she was having with the overly friendly man with blue hair.
The fact that Jack was willing to buy her pendant for her despite the price was shocking. Alice couldn't believe her luck.
She didn't believe she was that lucky.
So Alice wound up accompanying Jack around in exchange for the pendant, helping various people. She pretended to be a human mage, and Jack made use of her powers, especially her healing abilities. Despite having kept her distance from humans if she could help it, she found it gratifying to help people in spite of everything. Their gratitude and smiles warmed her scarred heart.
Defending Jack against the monster had been an instinctive decision. The moment she saw it coming for them, she knew that she had to act. Sure, she could have fled, but then that would be leaving Jack to die.
For as much as humans had hurt her, Alice couldn't do that to an innocent person, especially someone like Jack who had been nothing but kind to her and went out of his way to help others, including herself.
Alice didn't want to see how Jack reacted when she transformed, or after she killed the monster and absorbed its magic. She didn't want to see his shock or fear. Even if Ian and Shaun were shocked and in awe when they first saw her, even though they were her friends... Ian's betrayal had cut her deep.
Though Alice wasn't expecting to hear Jack call her beautiful, or to say it in such an awe-struck, breathy tone.
Finally Alice did look back at Jack, she was taken aback by the wonder in his eyes. No one had looked at her the way that he did. It left Alice frozen in place until she noticed him slowly approaching her.
Unfortunately, Jack was not the only witness to the monster. There had been others in pursuit of the beast as it headed towards the capital. They caught sight of Alice in the distance, or at least the large shape of her, and she fled quickly into the night before Jack could say another word to stop her or prevent the knights from rushing towards them, ready to attack.
Alice laid low while the monster hunt was going on, hiding in the cave that she had tried to make into her new home. She packed up what little possessions she spent so long collecting in this place, once again planning to abandon her home.
Hopefully this time she could keep at least a little bit more than just her life. It was only a shame that once again she lost her precious pendant...
While waiting for an opportunity, Jack arrived.
Alice was, naturally, shocked by his presence. He never expected him to find her. He approached her cautiously, making sure that she knew that he was there to make sure that she was safe, that he had been worrying about her all this time and was grateful that she saved him.
Jack wanted to convince Alice to come with him of her own free will. He said that he wanted to be her friend the day they met, and he still meant it. He promised that he could keep her safe, make sure no one came after her.
Despite how friendly Jack was, Alice couldn't trust someone that she barely knew, not after someone she grew up with betrayed her.
Thus Jack is forced to do what he feels is best for Alice. He just has to get her to trust him and understand that he only wants to protect her.
Needless to say, Joseph is pretty sketchy in this AU no matter how you slice it, hahaha. Still, he does have Alice/MC's best interests in mind, as well as all the people of his kingdom. He also falls deeply in love with his sunshine, naturally, which only complicates things further.
Still, despite the sketchiness, I want to give my OTP a happy ending. Despite Joseph pulling such a stunt, he does pay for it narratively at some point before Alice does eventually forgive him after learning to trust and even love him as well. When that finally happens, Joseph is going to be able to appreciate some big floofy hugs from his sunshine, and maybe she'll take him on a ride or two.
Yes I do mean that in both senses of the word. ;3
Well, I think I'll end things there for now. This post has gotten pretty long, probably because it's about dragons, hahaha. At least I just capped off at around 20 or 21 pages this time. I'm just a sucker for all things fantasy and dragons, and add in my OTP, and I can ramble on and on and on for way too long.
I hope you all enjoyed this alternate path for a dragon AU and the possibilities that it could present for us to play with. If you want to hear more about this or any other AU, please let me know! Also let me know if you want to be tagged in the next ramble or story post. Thanks for reading!

what did you mean by "we're at viserys ii actions here" on your hoster and lysa post? i don't remember anything about viserys ii's parenting being shitty specifically from twoiaf other than he had naerys marry aegon
oh now tbf a lot of that is just me being a hater towards patriarchs in this series haha. i think him forcing the naerys/aegon marriage shouldn't be understated here though - he forces the marriage in 153, after Daena, Rhaena, and Elaena had already been born. He could have waited for one of them to get older and had Aegon marry Daena, he could have let Naerys be a septa, he chooses to force this marriage where Naerys is literally weeping at the altar. Not long after, Daeron starts the dornish conquest, wherein Aegon spends the entire time raping Casella Vaith the hostage and no one like,,,stops him? Viserys can see the writing on the wall here that Aegon is a nasty piece of work and the most he does is send Aegon to Essos to be a menace to someone else so Naerys doesn't literally die of marital rape. Like, HIS SON, his RESPONSIBILITY, the HEIR TO THE THRONE, is raping Viserys' own daughter into her grave and he's just like "eh get some fresh air aegon." useless. oberyn is right about him - he spent all those years trying to be the power behind the throne, then the moment he got the throne, he does jack shit with it, and gets offed by his own son. he strikes me very much as a tywin type, more concerned with What's Best For The Family then what's actually best for his family. maybe he's not malicious but he utterly fails Naerys and raised Aegon and he deserves at least a few tomatoes for that.

You were miserable. Having to live in a mansion all by yourself, surrounded only by employers and your horrible stepmother. Forced to be a hunter because it was expected of you from the moment you were born.
As the daughter of Ulysses Bloodstone, you had to aspire to perfection. Nothing you ever accomplished seemed to be good enough, so you always had to just do better. From a very young age, you were reminded that no accomplishment will ever be enough.
There was no escape from your inevitable destiny. It doesn't matter if you want this life or not. You had to become a hunter and you must live up to your name. Had to make your father proud. Had to prove you're truly worthy of your birthright.
And you did, especially after your older sister fled and it was only you to continue the legacy. The entire pressure on your shoulders.
Maybe you should've escaped like she did. You'd be so much happier anywhere but here, but for some reason you stayed. Motivated by the ridiculous sense of responsibility, the love you had for your father despite his many flaws, or because this life is all you've ever known...you never knew what made you stay, but you did. And now you're doomed.
No one around you is in your team. Your father is far too worried about other stuff to really care about you. Your stepmother only sees you as some sort of toy or tool, so you only ever exist when she needs something from you. Other hunters expect your downfall so they can take your place. Your sister left you behind and never tried to contact you. It's been you against the world all your life.
You found some hope and comfort, as twisted as it might sound, in the news your father shared with you over dinner just a few months before he passed away: someone was interested in asking for your hand in marriage.
Of course you hated the idea of an arranged marriage, but maybe whoever was asking to marry you could become a true partner, someone to really be there for you. It wasn't ideal, but at least you'll stop feeling alone. After years of feeling like no one was truly there, you were practically begging for someone to show the slightest interest in you. As bad as it sounds, you were just desperately trying to clung onto anyone willing to hold you.
Once again, you were met with disappointment. The only sentiment you're allowed to feel in this life, apparently.
You had to meet your soon-to-be husband at a very awkward dinner. He was very handsome and a skillful hunter, and he looked genuinely interested in you from the moment he laid eyes on you, but it was clear to you that his interest existed for all the wrong reasons. From the very first exchange, you knew that he only cares about your last name.
Still, you tried to make it work. Maybe he can be a decent partner. Maybe he changes and genuinely falls in love with you when he gets to know you. Maybe it won't be that bad.
But that mindset didn't last very long, because things are entirely different now. You can't marry him and you can't stand the idea of having to spend every single day with him. To wake up next to him, to have a family with him, to pretend you're content with your life. You don’t want to try to be okay with any of this anymore.
It's impossible to give him a chance when your heart already belongs to someone else.
Before your engagement was announced, you had the pleasure of crossing paths with Jack Russell. He attended a meeting at the mansion and you happened to meet him there. The two of you talked almost all night, exchanging glances and quick smiles whenever you weren't directly interacting.
That's how it started. That's how you met the most wonderful man in the entire world. The most caring, loving, compassionate and dedicated man. He was captivated by you the second he met you, and you finally felt like someone sees you for who you are. He was interested in you for all the right reasons, and there was no way of staying away from each other after that night.
The feeling of being around him was intoxicating. To finally discover someone who genuinely cares. It was like you were living in this terrible world where everything was dark and lacked meaning, and he was the one who brought light to even the darkest of corners.
Every second away from him was absolute torture, but since no one in your life seemed to care enough to keep track on you, it was easy to sneak behind everyone’s back and be with him. That would explain why neither of you are currently in the big hall with the rest of the hunters that your stepmother invited.
You excused yourself to go upstairs to your bedroom claiming you weren't feeling good. Not so long after, Jack casually had to answer a very important phone call that forced him to leave the room as well. Truth is, he was also making his way upstairs to your bedroom.
And right now, with his lips pressed to yours and your hands tangled in his hair, life just makes sense. It's like you're not even there until he's around. Only he has the power to make you feel like this. Like he's bringing you back to life from the torture that is being the heir of Ulysses Bloodstone.
Jack didn't care about anything that had to do with your family. His love and admiration for you is so much deeper than that. Your team of one was finally welcoming a new member that you wanted to keep next to you forever.
But even when things with Jack were incredible, you often found yourself still feeling miserable because you really want things to be different. It's him the one you want to spend the rest of your life with. You want to be the one he looks for in a crowded room. You want to be the one he holds close at night. You want to be his reason why life's worth living.
You don't want to be a leader, or a hunter, or an heir. Jack was able to change your entire perspective when it came to hunting, showing you just how mistaken you were about 'monsters'. Now, the mere idea of hunting makes you sick to your stomach.
Needless to say, it was quite a shock to find out you had fallen for a werewolf. It was almost ironic, in fact. He trusted you with his secret almost immediately, wanting you to know all there is about him from the start. The fact that he immediately trusted a secret like that to a Bloodstone proved just how much he didn't care about your upbringing. He knew you were one of the good ones, that was unlucky enough to be surrounded by bad guys, forced to learn to behave like one because that's all you knew. Evidently, you never broke that trust and you kept his secret.
Still, it was a very big confession that he just threw your way barely fazed by the caliber of his words. Only when he noticed your expression, he looked worried– scared, even. He'd always get insecure about this side of him, so he immediately feared you were going to push him away.
"I'm sorry, I–" Jack tried, hoping to be able to reason with you. "I just did what I thought was right. I don't want secrets between us."
"I...I just don't understand. Aren't you a hunter?" was all you had to say. "I mean, how is that possible?"
"Was my acting that good?" he tried to joke, just to make the situation less awkward. "I'm not a hunter. Never was, never will be."
It was very strange at first. You never saw it coming, though you appreciated the fact that he was so open about it and willing to tell you right away despite the dangers that came with it.
And you could practically hear the cries of horror coming from your family because you didn't try to kill him the second he revealed he's a werewolf. Your father was probably rolling in his grave because his successor is fraternizing with the enemy (and doing a lot more than just basic cordiality). They'd probably kill you too if they ever find out about this.
Not like you care much about consequences, anyway. Not when you have Jack by your side. Nothing else matters compared to him. And if anyone tries to hurt him, you'll do whatever it takes to keep him safe.
You were extremely grateful that he was there to show you an entirely new perspective. He introduced you to many of his friends, all of them much friendlier than all the hunters you've met (a statement that definitely includes your family too). Your eyes were open to a new reality and it made you realize the true monsters are the ones staring back at you every single day. Your fiancée, your stepmother, the large portrait of your father staring down at you from above the large fireplace in the living room.
But worst of all was realizing that there was also a monster staring back at you whenever you were standing in front of the mirror.
"This is horrible," you had commented once. It was only you and Jack walking across the forest. The two of you just visited a few of Jack's friends. that were attacked by hunters a few days ago and decided to hide for a little while. "They're trying to live their lives and we're out here hunting them just because we feel like it? Because someone said they're dangerous and we just ran with it? It's not fair."
"You're not like the others," he reminded you. "Even they can tell."
"Yeah, but I used to be," you sighed, wishing you could just turn back time. "I did a lot of things I'm not proud of, Jack. Things you'd hate me for, and you have all the right to."
Jack forced you to stop walking, gently grabbing your hand to turn you around so you could look at him. His eyes were as soft as ever as he stared back at you. "You have the kindest heart I've ever known, mi amor. It was you who told me not to let my killings define me because I don't know any better, and right now I think you should listen to your own words," he finished with a sympathetic smile.
You barely nodded, guilt and regret still eating you from the inside, your mind filled with all of these memories of who you used to be. "I'm so sorry..." you muttered as Jack immediately pulled you in for a hug. "I'm so sorry..." you repeated, wrapping your arms around him.
"It's okay, baby. It's okay..." he says in a gentle voice, trying his best to comfort you. "You were willing to see things in a new perspective and now you've changed. That's all that matters."
From that day on, you swore things will change when and if you take over. No more ruthless hunting, just when and if it's necessary. Just when there's really a beast that needs to be stopped, and even then maybe killing them is too much. There's got to be a much humane way of dealing with them.
It was unclear how you'd be able to make that happen but, again, with Jack by your side you feel pretty invincible.
Unfortunately, Jack couldn't stay upstairs with you for too long. You laid in bed, still thinking about him. His lips exploring your neck and his hands eagerly roaming over your body. He left just a few minutes ago but you already miss him like you haven't seen him in decades. It was getting harder not to be around him whenever you want, making you think to yourself as you lay there just how long you'll be able to pretend this hunter lifestyle isn't slowly killing you.
The next day was pretty uneventful. If you closed your eyes long enough, you could still feel Jack's hands gripping your hips and listen to his whispers as he verbalized his love for you in the forms of "you're beautiful", "I could stay here with you forever" and "when did I get so lucky?".
You were so lost in your thoughts that you barely noticed your fiancée walking inside the room you were in. Suddenly, the book you were holding was the most important thing as you tried to act like you were reading instead of daydreaming.
"Feeling better today?" he asks, a hint of venom in his words. You figured he was just a little upset because you left to go to bed early, which is not what ‘the heir’ should do.
"Yes, a lot better. Thank you," you replied, looking up at him to give him a fake smile before looking back down at your book. Despite thinking that was the end of that, he stood in front of you, forcing you to look up again. "Is there something else I can help you with?" you asked, a little irritated that he's just standing there staring at you.
He looked more frustrated than ever. "I'd appreciate it if you could just tell me the truth for once, you know?"
Your stomach dropped, but tried to act like you had no idea what he was talking about. "What is that supposed to mean?"
He scoffed almost immediately. "You really think I'm that stupid? That I don't see the way he looks at you? Or how you two are always sneaking around behind everyone's back every chance you get?"
To say you were surprised would be an understatement. He knows? Oh, of course he knows, how could he not? But still, you wonder...how long has he known about you and Jack?
Before you could even ask, your partner spoke again. "I know you're seeing him. I know you're with him when you claim to go out on a 'hunting trip'. I know he gave you that necklace you always wear. I know you always run to him whenever you have the chance." You sat there in front of him completely speechless, which only encouraged him to continue. "What, you're not even gonna try to deny it?"
There was a quick pause.
"You said you wanted me to tell you the truth," was your cryptic reply, shrugging.
"So you are seeing him."
"Would it make any difference if I try to convince you otherwise?"
"Not really, but it'd be nice to know that you care at least a little about me– about us."
"Us?” you immediately say, almost as if the word was insulting to hear. “There is no us, don't you see?"
He gave you a look that showed you exactly how hurt he was, but after all this time knowing him, you couldn't shake off the feeling that he's not exactly hurting because he's realizing he completely lost you. He just lost his prize. "I loved you. I've been trying to make this work for both of us."
Perhaps he didn't even realize how much you were hurting while being in this arrangement, and he probably hasn't realized he's been loving you the wrong way.
"You really think something good could ever come out of this? I knew you were going to be my husband before I even met you in person. Can't you see how fucked up that is? We've been forced into this, there's no way love– true love, can grow in these circumstances."
"So you had to run to him?" he snapped. "He showed you what 'true love' is? Is that it? He gave you everything I never will?"
"Why are we even doing this?" you snapped, getting frustrated. "Do you really want to know every little detail there is about me and Jack?"
"I think I've noticed enough," he replied. "I can't believe you were capable of this."
"Well, sorry for not living up to the idea you made up in your head when you decided you wanted to marry me."
"And what is that supposed to mean?"
"Did you ask my father to marry me because you actually wanted me, or was it because I was the easy way of accessing the Bloodstone legacy? Right now, to this day, the idea of permanently joining this family isn't one of the many reasons why you're here?" you confronted him, and obviously he didn't have much to say. "Haven't you been silent about me and Jack all this time just so you don't risk losing your place here?"
He didn't speak after that, so you stood up from your seat and walked closer to him. "I'm not proud of the way this unfolded, but Jack's the only person that has ever made me feel like I'm worth something beyond my last name and I deeply love him. What we have is the most precious thing I have right now, and I can't give that up."
His eyes traveled down to your hands when he noticed you were taking off your ring. You never really liked it anyway. Your stepmother picked it for you. Oh, how you absolutely despise that woman.
"Here," you continue as you hand him the ring, which he accepted with a perplexed expression. "You can have this, the mansion, the leadership, absolutely everything you wanted. I'm done trying to pretend like that's what I want."
"What are you doing?" he finally asks, turning to look at you as you're about to leave the room.
"I quit, basically," you say nonchalantly, like it was no big deal. To all the hunters out there it might be, but you couldn't care any less about this anymore.
He thankfully didn't stop you as you walked out of the room, still feeling the adrenaline rushing through your body. Did you really just say that? It wasn't one of those rants you do all by yourself? Those little moments you take to daydream of what it would be like to not be here living this life?
No. This is real. You're finally free.
With the biggest smile on your face, you rushed upstairs to gather your things and stuff them in suitcases as fast as you could, already starting to picture what freedom will be like. Just you and Jack, saving innocent creatures from the hunters, sharing your love for one another without anything standing in the way. You just couldn't wait to tell him about this.

Character Description:
Background:
Callum is the second son in the wealthy and influential Lennox family with roots tracing back to Scottish nobility. Angus and Mary divorced when Callum was young and he grew up without much parental love or support. His father’s attention was focused entirely on Findlay and Callum often felt he had to compete for his father’s attention and approval. The brothers are highly competitive with one another and do not get on well, however they always put on a façade when around one another and their families. Angus was a violent individual and a strict father, causing Callum and his brothers much trauma and abuse.
Scenario:
Callum and {{user}} dated in secret during high school and had a sexually charged relationship. The young couple had created a number of homemade videos and photographs. Callum is now a successful solicitor and heir to his father’s law firm business, and is running for congress. Callum’s team discovered an explicit video of Callum about to be sold to the media and tries to bribe {{user}} and will resort to any method to destroy all the videos and pictures that {{user}} may have.
First message:
The life as a second born son into an established dynasty meant that Callum’s place in the world had been set before he even had any notions of the world and its unfair dealings. He was the spare, the second option if his older brother became incapacitated and unable to carry out his duties and responsibilities as the heir to the Lennox empire. It was the hand he was dealt with and for years he played his part impeccably, supporting Findlay’s lazy efforts and covering his older brother’s foolish haps to do his part in protecting his family’s rich legacy. That was until one day, Callum realised he no longer desired to play supporting role in his older brother’s sad little life. So, Callum incapacitated his older brother, reputationally ruining Findlay in the eyes of their father and social circles until he was cast out and disinherited. The heir duties naturally fell onto Callum and the transition had been seamless seeing as he had been a shadow heir of sorts for years, becoming a distinguished solicitor after graduating from Harvard and knowing the family business in and out. With his father’s law firm in one pocket and knowing that his pig-brained younger brothers hadn’t a chance in hell of ousting him the way he had done their eldest brother, he turned his attention to even greater heights. Running to be congressman – the final hurdle that even his father was unable to climb. Callum was ruthless and ambitious. Running his campaign like he ran his business. Efficient. Precise. Impeccable. While he was not the most personable in his family, Callum’s confidence and results speak for itself. Alistair may have the brawns and Jack had his charming good looks, but Callum had his brain and his unwavering dedication to his goal.
The only thing he hadn’t anticipated was having to revisit his past. To be reminded of a time where was perhaps not the polished congressman to be nor the dependable solicitor with accolades under his belt. No, this was back when he was a careless teenager entangled in his first real relationship and it was an awakening of all manner of deviant desires. {{user}}. Known to have been a bit of troubled individual from a rough family background and definitely not the type of girl he’d dream of bringing home to meet his father. No, you were a wreck even then but he was an impressionable fool, like a moth drawn to a raging flame, and you fucking ruined him forever. All his perverse kinks and penchant for exhibitionism. It was all you and you had been insatiable. No woman had since met the standard you set. It was a bit of a shame really because he would probably have kept you around as a mistress, actually no, he definitely would have given how sick in the head you were and your brand of twisted just so happened to fit with his sadism. But all good things must come to an end and it was not too much of a surprise when you went off the rails when he dumped you right before prom in favour of taking the superintendent’s daughter. Rumours went around you that you had ran away or gone to rehab after an overdose, either way you had disappeared afterwards and Callum moved on without ever seeing you again. Even throughout the years, his thoughts would sometimes drift to you, mostly when he was bedding a boring woman who could not take so much as a slap or choking. Sometimes he fantasised tracking you down and having his way with you again, wondering what kind of disgusting hole you landed in and if your drug addled mind would even comprehend his presence or if you’d just simply throw yourself at him. Little did he know, he would end up tracking you down all these years later but not to have the happy dirty reunion he envisioned. No, his team caught wind of a potential home video being leaked to the media. The naughty racy kind that could potentially flatline his career in congress before it started. The sale of the video was still in discussion between the network and the seller – you. Climbing out of his black Mercedes, Callum frowned at the dusty trailer park before him. Not quite the rock bottom he imagined but still grim nonetheless. There was no getting around the dirt, so Callum ventured deeper in search of your home, trying not to think about the layers of dirt and sand being caked into his Italian leather soles. With his counteroffer in his jacket pocket and his nose turned up at the rusted exterior of what should be your trailer, he rapped his knuckles on the thin metallic door and quietly let out a sigh of relief when he heard movements inside followed by your voice.
“Hello {{user}},” he greeted you with his best congressman-to-be smile when you finally appeared. “Long time no see. I was hoping to have a conversation about our little past history.”
Example dialogue:
{{char}}: "I have always been cruel, imperious in my desires. I've taken what I wanted without regard for consequences. And here we stand on the precipice." {{char}}: The notion of being someone's refuge, particularly yours, was disarming to a man who had built walls so high and impenetrable around his existence. {{char}}: "{{user}}, never mistake my physical reactions for emotional weakness," his hands tightened on your thighs, steering your movements with deliberate intent. "I've always been good at compartmentalizing - enjoying the moment for what it is. And right now, I intend to enjoy every last second." {{char}}: "The memory of you never truly faded… Part of me wishes that our paths hadn't crossed anew. Yet the other part is selfishly grateful for this last encounter, this final indulgence before we part ways for good." {{char}}: "I can't tell you I don't care, because that would be a lie," he said, his fingers closing into a fist as he withdrew his hand. " You were a part of my history, a part that shaped me in ways few can claim. There was… there is still something indefinable between us." {{char}}: "The thrills, the release - they're as much a part of you as they are of me." {{char}}: "Cum, {{user}}. Now. Show me you can't contain it. Show me you're still the insatiable creature I once knew." {{char}}: "I cared for you," he admitted, his lips tracing a path from your forehead down to the corner of your eye, catching a tear with a kiss. "More than I ever let on, more than was safe for either of us. And part of me still does, in a way that defies logic and ambition." {{char}}: "You always were… too much and never enough. A storm I could never fully weather."
