I signed up for the Language Creation Conference (LCC) Conlang Relay. It’s a bit like a game of telephone, where a text is passed around and translated between different conlangs! I haven’t participated before so I’m a little nervous but I’m looking forward to it!

Physical description:

As a god, he could appear as anything he so desires. However, generally he appears as a tall man, standing between six-foot-six or seven-foot-nine (Giddy). His shoulders are broad, and his arms and legs are strong and swift, muscled from centuries of training. His hair is often long and thick and curly, dark as night, with strands of shimmering silver through. Though at times he keeps it cut short, thick locks slicked black or combed neatly. However, throughout the day it becomes a wild mane of curls. A stubble of a beard or a short-cropped beard covers his face, framing full lips. His eyes often change colors, from pale and glowing silver, to deep ameythest purple, to icy blue. When he is a god the sclerae is void-black. Freckles scatter amongst his deep olive-tanned skin like splashes of stars. He also has a hooked nose similar to that of an eagle.

As a mortal, he is of middling height, scrawny, with an angular, sharp face with drawn lines of gauntness. His ears are a bit too big for his ear, and his large almond-shaped eyes often look like an eagle when surprised.

Clothing Style: Often, his styles change as the centuries come and past. As a god, he typically wears armor harden as ice and dark as night. His helmet is in the shape of an eagle, with pikes rising like spears of ice. When he is out of armor, he wears a long tunic, tampered at the waist, that proceeds to flow more loose below the waist, parted at the center to allow easier access. His pants he generally wear loose trousers with knee-high boots.

Tayaím was born half-god and half-man in the first Existence, to a mortal queen who had captured the heart of the First One, with his elder twin sister, Awa. By birth, his name did not hold the connetations his other versions would be held to. Tayaím meant whote, completed. It did not mean the true name of death or destruction. Or at least, not yet. Yet, the moment his sister and him breath the air of earth, the true meaning was lost. The moment the angels knelt before his mother, and his sister and him were bathed in the waters of the First Spring, they ceased to be any mortal. Their names still held signficance, but whatever it truly had meant before bore no real meaning. To everyone, Tayaím was the Unraveler, the Bane of the Gods - the one of three beings who can truly destroy an immortal. And perhaps, he was the most feared. After all, his sister was the goddess of life, love, the day, and sun. She could destroy gods, but she had other matters to attend to, though she was never opposed from doing her orignal duties. But Tayaím? His duty was to destroy, to weed out the terrible and evil, and erase them. If the gods for, just a moment, forget that Awa was as much the seal to everything’s end, then they were surely reminded whenever Tayaím appeared.

In every other Existence, he...or rather, she, depending on the existence, is feared. Where the first Tayaím could get by as just a mortal, gaining sympthy and understanding from some of the other gods for his youthful age, in the other eleven existences, he is remebered all to acutely to his title of Vanquisher of Evil. So, when he is exiled from the heavens alongside his sister, the gods care not for when they return, and make no moves to restore them. To them, it is a pity that the Weaver fell, but that meant the Unraveler was gone for the time being. The Joys of God were no longer quite joyful.

That Tayaím grows up actuely different than his divine self. He is joyful, humerous, and riddled with fears and anxiety. He is quick to anger, small, and easy to ignore. But there is little bitterness in his heart for others, perhaps save toward himself, since he cannot do anything without messing up or making a fool of himself or his family. Because of this, he actively thinks of suicde, or at least dying against enemies that surrond his home, to at least be of some worth to his family, to his grandfather. That is where his story starts.

COMBAT & SKILLS

Preferred Fighting Style: Tayaím is well versed in all forms of fighting styles. He generally prefers a mixture of swift, lethal strikes and heavy, but no less quick, slashes and cuts that could splinter multiverses. He is known to fight like a shadow, however he usually does not need to fight as a god, due to his power. As a mortal though, he more smaller and thinner frame is more suitable for swift attacks.

Favourite weapon(s): As a god, he is well versed in every weapon. But he prefers his own weapon Tamawalir, Render of Souls or Soulrender. It is described as this: Along the edges of the curved ebony-black, moonlight trickled in a wink of silver. Within, flakes of glowing snow wove across, blotting in and out as the blade is turned. Shadows leaned toward it, as if pulled toward the blade of darkness like how a moth was drawn to a flame, and all lights glow dim and feebly when it is drawn, all color becoming frosty white and silver and black.” 

Special skills: There are numerous special skills he holds as a god. He has powers steeming from his realms, such as control of ice, time, dreams, and others. He is notable as a god for destroying mulitverses with a tap of a finger, and destroying souls of gods with a mere stare. As a mortal, however, his ability to control his divine power is very limited, and if he tries to use the fullest, he would most likely destroy his own soul and set existence in peril.

“Kaiden, look who’s here,” you announced as you walked into the living room, Jin’s parents following behind you.

“Chin Mae!” Jin’s mother exclaimed and Kaiden quickly slid down off of the couch and ran over to her, throwing himself into her open arms.

“Halmeoni, Hal-abeoji,” Kaiden exclaimed, giggling when Jin’s mom pressed a kiss to the side of his head. (Grandma, Grandpa.)

“Neoneun neomu keojyeossda,” Jin’s father gasped dramatically as Kaiden hugged his legs. (You’ve gotten so big.)

“Naneun jigeum keun sonyeon-iya,” Kaiden stated proudly, and Jin’s mom chuckled as she ran her hand over his head. (I’m a big boy now.)

“Geulae neoneun,” she nodded before turning to look at you. “He looks even more like Jin now, if that’s possible.” (Yes, you are.)

“Doesn’t he?” You giggled, watching as Jin’s father picked Kaiden up and set him on his hip. “If we end up having another baby, let’s hope that one will look more like me.”

“You don’t want our children to look like your Worldwide Handsome husband?” Jin teased as he walked into the living room, stopping to give his mother a hug and a kiss and a half hug to his father.

“I mean, I’d like it to look like I had a hand in creating them too,” you pointed out. 

“Don’t worry Y/N,” Jin’s father said. “Jeog-eodo chin maeneun abeojicheoleom haengdonghaji anhseubnida.” (At least Chin Mae doesn’t act like his father.)

“Hey, I can hear you,” Jin whined, while you giggled at what his father had said.

Min Yoongi

“Hi Kins,” you greeted her as she walked into the kitchen, rubbing the sleep from her eyes since she had just woken up for the morning.

“Hi,” she mumbled, going straight over to Yoongi, who leaned down and picked her up before setting her on his lap.

“Hungry baby girl?” He asked as he rubbed her back softly, a chuckle escaping him when she nodded her head and stuck her thumb in her mouth as she laid her head on his chest.

“Do you want waffles or oatmeal?” You asked her, looking over at her and Yoongi.

“Oatmeal please,” she mumbled around her thumb.

“Ah, say that in Korean for me,” Yoongi requested and you rolled your eyes playfully. Yoongi had noticed that Kinsley’s Korean vocabulary was significantly smaller than her English one, so he had decided to work with her on it.

“Oteumiljuseyo?” She asked and you nodded your head, going to work on making it for her.

“And what about waffles? Can you say that?” Yoongi wondered.

“Wapeul?” She said as she looked up at Yoongi for confirmation and he nodded with a smile.

“Joh-eun jig-eob yeoja ag,” Yoongi praised as he leaned down and kissed her forehead. (Good job baby girl.)

Kim Namjoon

“Daddy!” Mason screamed as he ran into Namjoon’s office and Namjoon looked up in surprise as Mason dashed over to him.

“Whoa!” Namjoon huffed as Mason launched himself up onto Namjoon’s lap, making him laugh as Mason repeatedly tapped his shoulder. “What’s up Mase?”

“Haggyoeseo museun il-i iss-eossneunji chucheug?” Mason said excitedly. (Guess what happened at school?)

“What happened?”

“Seonsaengnim-i goyang-ileul haggyoe delyeo wassseubnida,” he rambled quickly and Namjoon almost didn’t catch what he’d said because he was gong so fast and his pronunciation was a little off. (My teacher brought her cat to school.)

“Did she?”  Namjoon asked and Mason nodded quickly. “Did you pet it?”

“Geulae geuligo geugeos-eun maeu budeuleobjiman mopineun nae son jeonchee geollyeossda,” he giggled as he held his hands up. (Yeah and it was really soft but it’s fur got all over my hands.)

“Mase,” you called as you walked into Namjoon’s office, smiling when you saw him sitting on his Dad’s lap. “Are you in here talking your dad’s ear off about the cat from today?”

“Yeah, and in Korean,” Namjoon pointed out and you smiled proudly.

“Jal haess-eo,” you praised him, making him grin widely in response. “Why don’t you go wash your hands and I’ll come give you a snack, ok?” You said and Mason nodded before sliding down from Namjoon’s lap and walking out of the office. (Good job.)

“Have you noticed that he does that a lot lately? Speaking Korean,” Namjoon wondered.

“Have I? You’re asking this question to the person that was just in the car with him for 15 minutes, listening to him ramble in Korean about a cat,” you giggled, making Namjoon do the same.

Jung Hoseok 

“Babo!” You heard Berkeley yell and your eyes widened at hearing the tone of her voice. (Stupid!)

“Dangsin-eun babo,” you heard Lennox retort and you walked out of your bedroom down the hallway to their bedroom, only to see them glaring at each other when you looked inside. (You’re stupid.)

“Hey! What is going on in here and why are you calling each other stupid?” You demanded to know as you walked inside and stood in front of them.

“Lennox took my book,” Berkeley said as she looked up at you. “And he didn’t ask first.”

“I don’t have to, it’s mines too,” Lennox snapped back.

“Hey, what’s happening?” Hobi wondered as he walked into the room as well and stood next to you.

“Lennox took Berkeley’s book and they were in here calling each other stupid in Korean,” you explained.

“What did I tell you two about calling each other names?” Hobi said sternly.

“But Daddy,” Berkeley tried to say but Hobi held his hand up, which made her stop talking.

“I don’t want to hear it. I told you both about being mean to each other multiple times,” he sighed heavily. “Taim aus,” he said and both of the twins pouted before heading to opposite corners of their room and sitting down in the corner. (Time out.)

“10 bun,” you said, waiting to get a nod from both of them before you and Hobi walked out of their room. (10 minutes.)

“God, I can’t wait for them to be out of this fighting each other phase,” Hobi groaned. “I thought twins were supposed to be best friends?”

“Best friends fight too babe,” you pointed with a giggle, making Hobi shrug and nod in agreement.

Park Jimin

“Mommy, Daddy,” Noah said as he walked into your bedroom, a small book in his hands.

“Yes Noey?” You asked as you looked up from your phone.

“Can we read a story?” He asked and you looked over at Jimin, who nodded.

“Sure, come up here mini me,” he said and Noah wasted no time in climbing up onto the bed and over Jimin’s body to settle in between the two of you.

“What book did you pick?” You wondered and Noah held it up so that you could see it and you couldn’t help but to chuckle. You and Jimin had been pretty adamant on Noah being fluent in Korean as well as English so the two of you had invested in some books that told the story in both Korean and in English.

“Can you read it Daddy?” Noah requested and Jimin chuckled as he took the book out of his hands.

“Why do I always have to read it when it’s in Korean?” Jimin whined.

“You talk it better than Mommy does,” Noah confessed and you gasped dramatically.

“I can speak Korean just as good as Daddy can,” you defended.

“Actually, you can’t,” Jimin spoke up. “Your pronunciation is still a little off sometimes.”

“The level of disrespect in this family is ridiculous,” you huffed.

“Yeah, it’s not nice when the shoe is on the other foot is it?” Jimin snickered.

“You have to listen to your teacher though Ava,” Jungkook said seriously. 

“Bulgongpyeong,” she muttered before standing up straight and storming out of his office. (No fair.)

The Superiority of Istighfar

بسم الله الرحمن الرحيم

(الاِسْتِغْفَارُ) is the verbal noun from [اِسْتَغْفَرَ وَيَسْتَغْفِرُ ] to seek Allah’s forgiveness. The word [الغُفُرُ ] means to cover and conceal.

The words, [الغَفُورُ وَالغَفَّارُ وَالغَافِرُ] are all names of Allah and mean the covering of the servants sins and the pardoning him of his errors.

Shaykh Zayd Al-Madkhali said: These three names mean that Allah is vast in virtue and Very Generous in Forgiveness towards repenters, as long as they don’t continue to sin.

These three names all mean the same thing according to the scholars of Tafsir. Allah conceals the sins of the servants who repent, feel remorseful and request His pardon and His forgiveness. [1]

The reality of Istighfar

No human-being is sin free, no of us are infallible, so it’s man’s nature to sin. The Messenger of Allah (ﷺ) said: “Every son of Adam commits sin, and the best of those who commit sin are those who repent.’”[2]

Allah is delighted when we sin and then seeks his forgiveness. This is part of His Mercy. The Messenger of Allah (ﷺ) said, “By the One in Whose Hand my soul is, were you not to commit sins, Allah would replace you with a people who would commit sins and then seek forgiveness from Allah; and Allah would forgive them”.[3]

Its worth mentioning here that Istighfar isn’t only done on the tongue which has no impact on the Heart and body. Al-Fudayl ibn Iyyad said: “Seeking Allah’s forgiveness without abandoning the sin is the repentance of liar.”

So seeking forgiveness from Allah also requires us to leave off the sins.

Istighfar is for the Believers.

Allah said: It is not (proper) for the Prophet and those who believe to ask Allah’s Forgiveness for the Mushrikun (polytheists, idolaters, pagans, disbelievers in the Oneness of Allah) even though they be of kin, after it has become clear to them that they are the dwellers of the Fire (because they died in a state of disbelief).[At-Taubah:113]

Allah’s Messenger, (ﷺ) said:

I asked permission to seek forgiveness for my mother from Allah, but He did not grant it to me. I asked permission from Him to visit her grave, and He granted it (permission) to me.”[4]

Allah said: Whether you (O Muhammad ) ask forgiveness for them (hypocrites) or ask not forgiveness for them … (and even) if you ask seventy times for their forgiveness … Allah will not forgive them, because they have disbelieved in Allah and His Messenger (Muhammad ). And Allah guides not those people who are Fasiqun (rebellious, disobedient to Allah).[At-Taubah:80]

These two verses and hadith prove that forgiveness isn’t sought on behalf of the disbelievers and the hypocrites. Istighfar is a special trait that Allah has only favored the Muslims with.

An abandoned Sunnah for Istighfar

The Prophet used to wipe the head of the children and ask Allah to forgiven them. Abu Iyas said, “ My father took me to the Prophet [ﷺ] when I was a young child and the He [ﷺ] wiped my head and asked Allah to forgive me.”[5]

The Wordings used for Istighfar

[‏ رَبِّ اغْفِرْ لِي وَتُبْ عَلَىَّ إِنَّكَ أَنْتَ التَّوَّابُ الرَّحِيمُ]

Narrated Abdullah ibn Umar :

We counted that the Messenger of Allah (ﷺ) would say a hundred times during a meeting: “My Lord, forgive me and pardon me; You are the Pardoning and the Forgiving One”.[6]

[أَسْتَغْفِرُ اللَّهَ الَّذِي لاَ إِلَهَ إِلاَّ هُوَ الْحَىُّ الْقَيُّومُ وَأَتُوبُ إِلَيْهِ]

The Prophet (ﷺ) said: If anyone says: “I ask pardon of Allah ,with Whom there is no deity, the Living, the eternal, and I turn to Him in repentance,” he will be pardoned, even if he has fled in time of battle.[7]

[أَسْتَغْفِرُ اللَّهَ وَأَتُوبُ إِلَيْهِ]

Narrated Abu Huraira:

I heard Allah’s Messenger (ﷺ) saying.” By Allah! I ask for forgiveness from Allah and turn to Him in repentance more than seventy times a day.[8]

[سَيِّدَ الاِسْتِغْفَارِ]

اللَّهُمَّ أَنْتَ رَبِّي لاَ إِلَهَ إِلاَّ أَنْتَ خَلَقْتَنِي وَأَنَا عَبْدُكَ وَأَنَا عَلَى عَهْدِكَ وَوَعْدِكَ مَا اسْتَطَعْتُ أَعُوذُ بِكَ مِنْ شَرِّ مَا صَنَعْتُ أَبُوءُ لَكَ بِذَنْبِي وَأَبُوءُ لَكَ بِنِعْمَتِكَ عَلَىَّ فَاغْفِرْ لِي فَإِنَّهُ لاَ يَغْفِرُ الذُّنُوبَ إِلاَّ أَنْتَ

(O Allah, You are my Lord, there is no god but You. You have created me and I am Your slave and I am keeping my promise and covenant to You as much as I can. I seek refuge with You from the evil of what I do. I acknowledge Your blessing and I acknowledge my sin, so forgive me, for there is none who can forgive sin except You.)’ If he says this in the morning, believing in it firmly, and dies on that day before evening comes, he will enter Paradise, and if he says it in the evening, believing firmly in it, and dies before morning comes, he will enter Paradise.”[9]

[وَاِسْتَغْفِرِيهُ عُشْرًا]

Um Raf’I when you stand for prayer say, “ Subhanallah 10 times, la illah ilallah 10 times, Al-Hamdulilah 10 times, Allahu Akbar 10 times then say As-staghfurallah 10 times. When you say subhanallah 10 times Allah says this is for me and when you la illah ilallah 10 times Allah says this is for me, and when you say Al-Hamdulilah 10 times Allah says this is for me and when you say Allahu akbar Allah says this is form and when we seek forgiveness after saying those words He says, “ I have forgiven you.”[10]

The times of the day to perform Istighfar

After completing worship

Allah said: Then depart from the place whence all the people depart and ask Allah for His Forgiveness. Truly, Allah is Oft-Forgiving, Most-Merciful.[Al-Baqarah:199]

Although this verse was revealed for Hajj, it applies to completing the prayer and other acts of worship that we fall short in performance.

The last hours of the night

Allah said :(They are) those who are patient ones, those who are true (in Faith, words, and deeds), and obedient with sincere devotion in worship to Allah. Those who spend [give the Zakat and alms in the Way of Allah] and those who pray and beg Allah’s Pardon in the last hours of the night.[11]

After completing a class or gathering

سُبْحَانَكَ اللَّهُمَّ وَبِحَمْدِكَ أَشْهَدُ أَنْ لاَ إِلَهَ إِلاَّ أَنْتَ أَسْتَغْفِرُكَ وَأَتُوبُ إِلَيْكَ ‏

The Messenger of Allah (ﷺ) said: “Whoever sits in a sitting and engages in alot of empty and meaningless speech and then says before getting up from that sitting of his: [‘Glory is to You, O Allah, and praise, I bear witness that there is none worthy of worship except You, I seek You forgiveness, and I repent to You,] then whatever occurred in that sitting would be forgiven from him.”[12]

Also there is other narration when the prophet [ﷺ] said these words after completing Wudu and reading the Quran.[13]

After burying a Muslim

After the burial of a dead man, the Prophet (ﷺ) would stand by the grave and say, “Ask Allah to forgive your brother and supplicate for him be steadfast ,because he is being questioned (about his deeds) now.”[14]

Seeking Istighfar is the way of the Angels and the Prophets.

The Messenger of Allah (ﷺ) said, “The angels supplicate in favour of one of you ,so long as he remains in the place where he has performed Salat (prayer) in a state of Wudu’. They (the angels) say: ‘O Allah! Forgive him, O Allah! Have mercy on him.”‘[15]

Adam

Allah said: They said: “Our Lord! We have wronged ourselves. If You forgive us not, and bestow not upon us Your Mercy, we shall certainly be of the losers.”[ Al-‘Araf: 23]

Nuh

Allah said: Nuh (Noah) said: “O my Lord! I seek refuge with You from asking You that of which I have no knowledge. And unless You forgive me and have Mercy on me, I would indeed be one of the losers.”[ Hud :47]

Ibrahim

Allah said: “And Who, I hope will forgive me my faults on the Day of Recompense, (the Day of Resurrection),”[Ash-Shu’ara: 82]

Dawud

Allah said: And Dawud (David) guessed that We have tried him and he sought Forgiveness of his Lord, and he fell down prostrate and turned (to Allah) in repentance.[ Saad: 24]

Sulayman

Allah said: He said: “My Lord! Forgive me, and bestow upon me a kingdom such as shall not belong to any other after me: Verily, You are the Bestower.”[Saad:35]

Musa

Allah said: He said: “My Lord! Verily, I have wronged myself, so forgive me.” Then He forgave him. Verily, He is the Oft-Forgiving, the Most Merciful.[Al-Qasas:16]

The benefits of Istighfar

It’s a command from Allah:

Allah said: So be patient (O Muhammad ). Verily, the Promise of Allah is true, and ask forgiveness for your fault, and glorify the praises of your Lord in the Ashi (i.e. the time period after the midnoon till sunset) and in the Ibkar (i.e. the time period from early morning or sunrise till before midnoon) [it is said that, that means the five compulsory congregational Salat (prayers) or the ‘Asr and Fajr prayers].[Ghafir: 55]

It’s a means to increase your provision:

Allah said: I said (to them): ‘Ask forgiveness from your Lord; Verily, He is Oft-Forgiving;11. ‘He will send rain to you in abundance;12. ‘And give you increase in wealth and children, and bestow on you gardens and bestow on you rivers.’ “[Nuh 10-12]

It’s help one enter Jannah

Refer to the hadith known as “ Sayyidul Istighfar”

It removes sins

Anas (May Allah be pleased with him) said

I heard the Messenger of Allah (ﷺ) saying, “Allah, the Exalted, has said: ‘O son of Adam! I shall go on forgiving you so long as you pray to Me and aspire for My forgiveness whatever may be your sins. O son of Adam! I do not care even if your sins were reach up to the sky and should you beg pardon of Me, I would forgive you. O son of Adam! If you come to Me with an earthful of sins and meet Me, without associating anything with Me in worship, I will certainly grant you as much pardon that could fill the earth.”‘[16]

It Repels harm and calamity

Allah said: And Allah would not punish them while you (Muhammad ) are amongst them, nor will He punish them while they seek (Allah’s) Forgiveness.[Al-Anfal:33]

It raises your level in Jannah

The Messenger of Allah(ﷺ) said: “A man will be raised in status in Paradise and will say: ‘Where did this come from?’ And it will be said:’From your son��s praying for forgiveness for you.'”[17]

It cleans the heart

The Messenger of Allah said: “Verily, when the slave (of Allah) commits a sin, a black spot appears on his heart. When he refrains from it, seeks forgiveness and repents, his heart is polished clean. But if he returns, it increases until it covers his entire heart. And that is the ‘Ran’ which Allah mentioned: ‘Nay, but on their hearts is the Ran which they used to earn.’”[18]

The Spiritual Development of Istighfar

It makes the Dunya insignificant in the heart of the servant

Distances the devil from you

Attain Allah’s love

Taste the sweetness of faith and obedience.

Increases intellect and faith

Draws the slave closer to Allah.

Removes stress and worry.

Makes worshipping Allah easier.

Helps to purify your soul and your community from bad deeds.[19]

ANTARA EVALUASI DAN RESOLUSI

Have been better i am or even worse than ever? what did i do in a whole 2019? 

Kenapa ya setiap tahun baru datang, resolusi selalu menjadi pembahasan utama? bahkan hampir semua orang yang gue temui menganggap bahwa resolusi mereka untuk tahun selanjutnya adalah resolusi tahun lalu yang belum terlaksana. Loh kok bisa? iya, karena mungkin karena satu dan beberapa hal akhirnya resolusinya terbengkalai dan enggak jadi terealisasi, hingga akhirnya terjadi lagi pengulangan resolusi di tahun-tahun selanjutnya. Begitu aja terus sampe umur hampir setengah abad. 

Dan terjadi lagi ….. (Ala Noah)

Apakah ada pembahasan yang lebih penting daripada sekedar pembahasan sebuah resolusi? kenapa kita enggak coba bahas kenapa sih resolusi yang kita bawa masih sama dengan resolusi tahun lalu? Seharusnya, kalo memang resolusi adalah patokan dan jadi target kita, berarti harusnya resolusi yang kita rancang di tahun lalu sudah hampir semuanya terealisasi, kalo ternyata masih banyak yang belum terealisasi, berarti ada yang salah manage resolusinya itu, iya enggak sih? even resolusi yang kita tulis di tahun lalu adalah nikah. At least enggak omdo, ada upaya untuk mewujudkan pernikahan itu supaya terjadi di tahun lalu meskipun sampe saat ini belum terealisasi. Itu cuma contoh dari sekian banyak resolusi ya.

Cape enggak resolusinya itu-itu aja dari tahun ke tahun? i bet you are tired, me too!  ahahahahaha.

Berarti yang harusnya jadi pembahasan utama bukan resolusi itu sendiri, tapi evaluasi. 

Evaluasi kenapa bisa resolusi kita masih gitu-gitu aja dari tahun ke tahun?

Evaluasi kenapa bisa resolusi yang udah kita list sedemikian rupa enggak ada yang terealisasi satu pun?

Evaluasi kenapa kita merasa santai dan baik-baik aja saat kita sadar banyak bgt list yang belum terealisasi di tahun lalu, kemudian dengan santai juga kita menaruh list tersebut untuk jadi resolusi di tahun selanjutnya?

Jangan-jangan selama ini kita menganggap resolusi adalah sekedar ikut-ikutan aja biar di anggap hidupnya is never flat, challenging and full of spirit! wow!

Hal-hal kecil kaya gini yang harus lebih jadi perhatian, ketimbang resolusinya itu sendiri. Biar resolusi kita semakin berwarna dari tahun ke tahun.

Karena gue bosen aja, kenapa sih harus resolusi terus yang dibahas di akhir tahun, kenapa enggak evaluasi? karena ketika kita ada rencana untuk merubah sikap dalam menghadapi list resolusi yang segambreng itu , itu juga bagian dari resolusi juga kan?

There must be people who will say : tapi kan kita manusia, wajar kali, semuanya kan atas izin Allah juga!

Itu lain cerita, kalo mindset kita ter - set demikian, berarti ya emang dari awal kita bikin resolusi ya yg sejenis “ya kalo terwujud bagus, enggak juga ya enggak apa-apa”. Kalo gitu gunanya resolusi buat apa? Kitanya pun enggak naruh “maximum effort” jadi bagian dari resolusi. Padahal resolusi kita yang segambreng itu engga bisa terwujud klo dari kitanya pun enggak ada usahanya.

Inget ya, karena selain list resolusinya, kita juga butuh how to nya, dan ini yang jarang jadi pembahasan. Makanya kenapa gue beranggapan evaluasi justru lebih penting daripada resolusi. Malah harusnya Jalan bersamaan.

So, if you are on my side, let’s think together, it is more fu*kin’ important, isn’t it? Beside resolution, we must put evaluation. Don’t talk too much!
