I'm writing the lines of anime "Apothecary Diaries/薬屋のひとりごと(Kusuriyano Hitorigoto) in Japanese/Romaji/English.I'm doing this for my own English study, but I hope it helps someone else.

Hello. I would love a translation of the short Halloween videos. I'm still surprised that Maomao said we look tasty. And yes I'm very patient and can wait for the drama cd translation. I only understood the greeting of "hishashuburi" at the beginning and Maomao saying it had only been a few days. :)
Sorry for my late reply and thank you for your reblog already. Although I can't say when, but I'll work on drama cds' translation little by little and post it as soon as ready!

Halloween Art Short Video / 薬屋のひとりごと ハロウィンアート ショート動画
Please note that the English lines are just my translation.
<< 猫猫/Maomao >>
(キョンシー/Kyonshī/Jiangshi : 中国版ゾンビ/Chugoku-ban zonbi/Chinese version of zombie)
猫猫「お前、うまそうだな。血のいい香りがするぞ」
Maomao “Omae, umaso-dana. Chino ii kaoriga suruzo.”
Maomao “You look tasty. I can smell the nice scent of blood.”
<< 壬氏/Jinshi >>
(九尾の狐/Kyubino kitsune/Nine-tailed fox : 中国に伝わる九本の尾を持つ狐の妖怪/Chugokuni tsutawaru Kyu-honno o’o motsu kitsuneno yokai/A nine-tailed fox monster from China)
壬氏「取って食ったりしない。こっちへ来い」
Jinshi “Totte kuttari shinai. Kocchi’e koi.”
Jinshi “I’m not going to eat you. Come over here.”
<< 高順/Gaoshun >>
(雷震子/Raishinshi/Leizhenzi : 『封神演義』の登場人物/‘Hoshin-Engi’no tojo-jinbutsu/A character in the classic Chinese novel ‘Investiture of the Gods’)
高順「空が騒がしい。ほら、そこ!雷に気を付けてください」
Gaoshun “Soraga sawagashii. Hora, soko! Kaminari-ni ki’o tsukete-kudasai.”
Gaoshun “The sky is noisy. Look, there! Be careful of thunder.”
<< 玉葉妃/Concubine Gyokuyou >>
(鉄扇公主または羅刹女/Tessen-Koshu or Rasetsunyo/Princess Iron Fan : 『西遊記』の登場人物/ ‘Saiyu-ki’ no tojo-jinbutsu/A character in the classic Chinese novel ‘Journey to the West’)
玉葉妃「この芭蕉扇が欲しいの?奪えるものなら奪ってごらんなさい」
Gyokuyo-hi “Kono Basho-Sen-ga hoshiino? Ubaeru mono-nara ubatte goran-nasai.”
Concubine Gyokuyou “Do you want this Palm-leaf fan? Go ahead and take it from me if you can.”
―――――――――――――――――――――――――――――――
「うまそうだ(Uma-soda)」: looks tasty
「うまい(旨い、美味い/Umai)」: tasty (more manly and rougher than おいしい). Recently women also use this word, but it’s not formal. It’s no wonder Maomao say うまい, but noble women such as Concubine Gyokuyou or Concubine Lihua never use it.
「取って食う(とってくう/Totte-kuu)、取って食べる(とってたべる/Totte-taberu): It’s an idiom used in the negative form when reassuring someone who is frightened. Let’s say you are a big boss and summon a new staff to your room, and he is very nervous and worried in front of you. Then you can say, “Please relax, I’m not gonna eat you. I just wanted to see you.”
Hereunder please see the lines from Demon Slayer, Season 1 Episode 24.
胡蝶しのぶ「別に取って食べたりはしませんから、大丈夫ですよ~」
Kocho Shinobu “Betsuni totte tabe-tariwa shimasen-kara, daijobu desuyooo.”
Shinobu Kocho “Don’t worry, it’s not as if I’ll gobble him up, all right?”
煉獄杏寿郎「それはそうだろう!アッハハハハハ…」
Rengoku Kyojuro “Sorewa so daro! Ahhahahahaha…”
Kyojuro Rengoku “Well, of course you wouldn’t!”
It’s like a joke in order to lighten the mood. But in case of this Jinshi’s line, he is saying as a monster of the nine-tailed fox. So you might get eaten if you believe his sweet words of invitation and approach him…
「奪(うば)えるものなら奪(うば)ってごらんなさい」: Go ahead and take it from me if you can.
「できるものなら、やってみろ」: Do it if you can. (= You can never do it. Let’s see you’ll try it.)
These words are totally provocation.

Hi. Thank you for translating the Halloween Video. Under the shorts section if you search Halloween Art there are 4 mini videos with Gaoshun, Gyokuyou, jinshi and maomao. They were each released when their Halloween Arts were revealed. Jinshi is my favorite because of the fluffy tails.
Thank you for your information! I checked the youtube videos. Jinshi is cool and beautiful as always, and I'm surprised that Gaoshun's costume suits him so cool. In the previous video, Jinshi said he would go surprise Gaoshun, but I guess Jinshi would be more surprised by Gaoshun. lol By the way, I'm wondering if you want me to translate the 4 short videos, and another PV for Season 2 preview. If yes, I can do it soon. As for drama cds, it took me several hours just to listen to the Japanese lines and transcribe them (only one episode), I guess I may be not able to finish the translation before Season 2 starts. If you can wait, I'll work on it little by little.

Halloween Visual Special Video / 薬屋のひとりごと ハロウィンビジュアル スペシャル動画
Please note that the English lines are just my translation.
壬氏「ハッピーハロウィン!ハロウィンは楽しんでいるか?」
Jinshi “Happī Harowin! Harowin-wa tanoshinde-iruka?”
Jinshi “Happy Halloween! Are you enjoying Halloween?”
猫猫(げっ!面倒な奴に見つかってしまった…)
Maomao (Ge! Mendona yatsuni mitsukatte-shimatta…)
Maomao (Oh no! I was found by a troublesome person…)
猫猫「ごきげんよう、壬氏様。ハッピーハロウィン。玉葉様や翡翠宮の皆さんがとても乗り気でしたので断れず…そもそもこの催し、なぜこんな格好をする必要が?」
Maomao “Gokigen-yo, Jinshi-sama. Happī Harowin. Gyokuyo-samaya Hisui-Kyuno minasanga totemo noriki-deshita-node kotowarezu… Somo-somo kono moyooshi, naze konna kakko’o suru hitsuyoga?”
Maomao “Greetings, Master Jinshi. Happy Halloween. Lady Gyokuyou and everyone at the Jade Pavilion were really keen, so I couldn’t refuse… Anyway, why do I need to dress like this for this event?”
壬氏「死者の霊に仲間だと思わせて、自分の身を守る為…らしいぞ。理由は何であろうと、皆楽しんでいるようだから、いいではないか」
Jinshi “Shishano reini nakama-dato omo-wasete, jibunno mi’o mamoru-tame…rashiizo. Riyuwa nande aroto, mina tanoshinde-iruyo-dakara, ii-dewa naika.”
Jinshi “Apparently, it’s to make the spirits of the dead think we’re their friends, so that we can protect ourselves. Whatever the reason, everyone seems to be having fun, so why not?”
猫猫「そこですねー。それにしても、さすが壬氏様。九尾の狐とは、とてもお似合いです」
Maomao “Soko desuneee. Soreni-shitemo, sasuga Jinshi-sama. Kyubino Kitsune-towa, totemo oniai desu.”
Maomao “That’s it. Anyway, as expected of Master Jinshi, you really suit the nine-tailed fox.”
猫猫(人を惑わせて喰らう… こいつにぴったりだな)
Maomao (Hito’o mado-wasete kurau… Koitsuni pittari dana.)
Maomao (Confuses people and then eats them… that suits him perfectly.)
壬氏「お前…それは褒めてないだろ…。まあいい。薬屋、仕事だ。高順をおどかしに行くぞぅ。褒美はこいつでどだ?」
Jinshi “Omae…sorewa homete-nai-daro… Maa, ii. Kusuriya, shigoto-da. Gaoshun’o odokashini ikuzo. Hobiwa koitsude doda?”
Jinshi “Hey… that’s not a compliment… But whatever, here’s a job, Apothecary. We’re going to surprise Gaoshun. How about this as a reward?”
猫猫「はっ!お安い御用です!喜んで!」
Maomao “Ha! Oyasui goyo desu! Yorokonde!”
Maomao “Yes, certainly! With pleasure!”
壬氏「フフン、それでは行くぞ!トリック・オア・トリート!」
Jinshi “Fufun, sore-dewa ikuzo! Torikku oa torīto!”
Jinshi “Now then, let’s go! Trick or treat!”
―――――――――――――――――――――――――――――――
「面倒な(めんどうな/Mendo-na)」「面倒くさい(めんどうくさい、めんどくさい/Mendo-kusai): troublesome, annoying, bothersome
「催し(もよおし/Moyooshi)」: event (Recently, we often use “イベント(Ibento)” rather than “催し”.
「さすが(流石/Sasuga)」: We use this word when someone did a great job or got great result as expected, with a nuance of “I knew it!” This is a compliment given to someone who is known to be excellent.
「九尾の狐(きゅうびのきつね/Kyubino kitsune)」: Fox monsters with nine tails from China
「惑わせる(まどわせる/Mado-waseru)」: confuse, lead astray, mislead
「喰らう、食らう(くらう/Kurau)」: The meaning is the same as “eat,” but it is used when monsters or evil things eat. Or it can be a slang when you are attacked (攻撃を食らう/こうげきをくらう/Kogeki’o kurau), or poisoned (毒を食らう/どくをくらう/Doku’o kurau) in a battle or something.
「おどかす(脅かす/Odokasu)」: surprise, scare, frighten, threaten (At this scene, it’s almost same as 「驚かす(おどろかす/odorokasu)」.)
「お安い御用(おやすいごよう/Oyasui goyo)」: It’s easy task, No problem, No sweat. (When you really accept to do something asked by someone.)
「喜んで!(よろこんで/Yorokonde)」: With pleasure!
「トリック・オア・トリート!」: Trick or treat! When you hear it, you may feel strange because of its pronunciation of Japanese people. It’s the same for us, too, and maybe most Japanese don’t understand when native English speakers say “Trick or treat!”. Most Japanese people, including myself, aren’t good at hearing natural English pronunciation. That’s because there are big differences in pronunciation between English and Japanese, and we pronounce each Hiragana or Katakana very clearly.

Tanabata Special Video / 七夕ビジュアル スペシャル映像
Please note that the English lines are just my translation.
壬氏「薬屋。浴衣(ゆかた)、似合っているじゃないか」
Jinshi “Kusuriya. Yukata, niatte-iruja naika.”
Jinshi “Apothecary. The yukata looks good on you.”
猫猫(げっ!…こいつは相変わらずウロウロと……暇なのか?)
Maomao (Ge! …Koitsuwa ai-kawarazu uro-uro-to…… Hima nanoka?)
Maomao (Ugh! This guy is wandering around as always…… Is he bored?)
猫猫「ありがとうございます。そう言う壬氏様は、何を着ても嫌味なくらい似合ってらっしゃいますね」
Maomao “Arigato gozai-masu. So-iu Jinshi-samawa, nani’o kitemo iyamina-kurai niatte-rasshai-masune.”
Maomao “Thank you. In case of you, Master Jinshi, you look so good that become sarcastic no matter what you wear.”
壬氏「お前はもっと素直に褒められないのか…(咳払い)とある国では、七夕に、願い事を短冊に書いて笹に吊るす風習があるらしい。今年はそれを模して、笹と短冊を用意してみたぞ!お前はどんな願いを書くんだ?」
Jinshi “Omaewa motto sunaoni home-rare-nai-noka… To-aru-kuni-dewa, Tanabata-ni, negai-goto’o tanzakuni kaite sasani tsurusu fushuga aru-rashii. Kotoshiwa sore’o moshite, sasato tanzaku’o yoi-shite-mitazo! Omaewa donna negai’o kakunda?”
Jinshi “Can’t you praise a person more honestly? (clearing throat) In a certain country, there is a custom of writing wishes on strips of paper and hanging them on bamboo for Tanabata. This year, I have imitated that custom and prepared some bamboo and strips of paper! What wish will you write?”
猫猫(願いねぇ…。願いなんて、誰かに願ったからって叶うものでもないだろうに)
Maomao (Negai-nee… Negai-nante, darekani negatta-karatte kanau mono-demo nai-daroni.)
Maomao (A wish… A wish isn’t something that will come true just because you wish it on someone.)
猫猫「そうですね…世界中の薬を試したい、でしょうか。…あっ、壬氏様、牛黄はまだですか!?」
Maomao “So-desune… Sekai-juno kusuri’o tameshi-tai, deshoka. …A, Jinshi-sama, go-o-wa mada desuka!?”
Maomao “Well, I guess I’d like to try medicine from all over the world. Ah, Master Jinshi, isn’t the ox bezoar ready yet!?”
―――――――――――――――――――――――――――――――
「浴衣(ゆかた/Yukata)」: kimono nightwear (In the past, Japanese people wore yukata to sleep, but now we wear yukata to summer festivals or fireworks shows.
「相変わらず(あいかわらず/Ai-kawarazu)」: as always, as usual, still
「うろうろする(Uro-uro-suru)」: wander around
「嫌味な(いやみな/Iyami-na)」: sarcastic
「七夕(たなばた/Tanabata)」: Tanabata is a custom that was introduced to Japan from China long ago. It’s based on the legend that the lovers(Orihime and Hikoboshi) separated on both sides of the Milky Way can meet once a year on July 7th. As mentioned in this episode, we write our wishes on strips of paper and tie them to bamboo branches.
「模す(もす/Mosu)」: imitate, copy
「叶う(かなう/Kanau)」: come true
「世界中(せかいじゅう/Sekai-ju)」: all over the world
「~中(ju)」: all over~, around~ ex) all over the country : 「国中・国じゅう(くにじゅう/Kuni-ju)」
「~中(chu)」: during~, while~ ex) during dinner : 「夕食中に(ゆうしょくちゅうに/Yushoku-chuni)」
In case of 「夏休み中」, the meaning will be different depending on the pronunciation.
「なつやすみじゅう/Natsu-yasumi-ju」 means “throughout the summer vacation”
「なつやすみちゅう/Natsu-yasumi-chu」 means “during summer vacation”
As it’s confusing, we often write “じゅう” in Hiragana, such as “夏休みじゅう”, in order to distinguish it from "ちゅう".

The Inserted Song of Episode 24 “Omoi Saku Toki” / 薬屋のひとりごと 第24話 挿入歌『想い咲く時(おもいさくとき/Omoi Saku Toki)』
Please note that English words of the song are just my translation.
~♪~
星の夜に瞬(またた)く記憶 時を重ね 私を包む
Hoshino yoruni matataku kioku Toki’o Kasane watashi’o tsutsumu
Memories twinkling in the starry night envelop me after time passed
戸惑いながら 痛み知るたび 胸の奥で膨(ふく)らむ蕾(つぼみ)
Tomadoi-nagara itami shiru-tabi muneno okude fukuramu tsubomi
While bewildered, every time I feel pain, a bud swells deep in my heart
いつか 消えない傷痕(きずあと)も 愛と呼べるなら
Itsuka kie-nai kizu-atomo ai-to yoberu-nara
Someday, if I can call even the scars that never fade “love”
この想いを 凛(りん)と開いて 今 誰かのために咲く
Kono omoi’o rinto hiraite ima darekano tameni saku
Opening these feelings with dignity and now bloom for someone
その姿は 何より強くて美しい いつまでも あの花のよう
Sono sugatawa nani-yori tsuyokute utsukushii itsumademo ano hanano-yo
The appearance is stronger and more beautiful than anything else, forever, just like that flower
~♪~
猫猫(案外、覚えているもんだな…)
Maomao (Angai, oboete-iru-mondana…)
Maomao (I’m surprised I still remember all of that.)
猫猫「えっ」
Maomao “E.”
壬氏「おい」
Jinshi “Oi.”
Jinshi “Hey.”
猫猫「ハッ!」
Maomao “Ha!”
壬氏「あっ!」
Jinshi “A!”
Jinshi “Wha―”
猫猫「ああっ…」
Maomao “Aa…”
―――――――――――――――――――――――――――――――
「星が瞬く(ほしがまたたく/Hoshiga matataku)」: The stars twinkle
「時を重ねる(ときをかさねる/Toki’o kasaneru)」: Time passes
「重ねる(かさねる/Kasaneru)」: pile up
In Japanese, “time passes” is expressed not only as “流れる/Nagareru: flow”, “過ぎる/Sugiru: pass”, but “重ねる/Kasaneru: pile up” because our memories and experiences remain in our hearts and pile up like snow falling on the ground.
「包む(つつむ/Tsutsumu)」: wrap, envelop
「戸惑う(とまどう/Tomadou)」: confused, bewildered, puzzled (I’m not sure but I think 戸惑う is lighter than “confused”. It’s like when you touch new smartphone, you feel “戸惑う” in the very beginning but you’ll get used to it soon. “戸惑う” doesn’t have bad meaning. In case of “confused,” I imagine 「混乱する(こんらんする/Konran-suru)」, like when you don’t know how to use the new smartphone at all.
「凛と(りんと/Rin-to)」: with dignity, with nobility
「姿(すがた/Sugata)」: figure, appearance, shape
「いつまでも(Itsu-mademo)」: forever, eternally (More casual than 「永遠に(えいえんに/Eien-ni)」.)

Please note that the English lines are just my translations.
猫猫「猫猫の豆知識。鳳仙花の花言葉は『私に触れないで』『短気』。片喰の花言葉は『喜び』『母の優しさ』。」
Maomao “Maomao’no mame-chishiki. Hosenkano hana-kotobawa ‘Watashini fure-naide’ ‘tanki’. Katabamino hana-kotobawa ‘yorokobi’ ‘hahano yasashisa’.”
Maomao “Maomao’s bits of knowledge. The flower language of the Balsam is ‘Don’t touch me’ and ‘Short-tempered.’ The flower language of the Woodsorrel is ‘Joy’ and ‘Mother’s kindness.’”
猫猫「はぁ……」

Maomao (sigh)
壬氏「羅漢を無事に送り届けて来たか?」
Jinshi “Rakan’o bujini okuri-todokete kitaka?”

猫猫「無事ではないかと。下戸にとって、酒は猛毒ですから」
Maomao “Buji-dewa naikato. Gekoni totte, sakewa modoku desu-kara.”

Jinshi “N… Dayona. Soreni-shitemo, konrinzai, aa-itta kakegotowa hikaete-morai-tai.”
Jinshi “Yeah, I guess so. But even so, I hope you’ll never again gamble like that.”
猫猫「ああいった賭け事?象棋ですか?元々得意でも何でもないのでご安心を」
Maomao “Aa-itta kakegoto? Shanchī desuka? Moto-moto tokui-demo nan-demo nai-node go-anshin’o.”
Maomao “Gamble like that? Do you mean chess? I’m not good at it or anything, so don’t worry.”
壬氏「違う!」
Jinshi “Chigau!”
Jinshi “No, that’s not it!”
猫猫「ん?あの男以外で下戸に酒を盛るようなことは致しません」
Maomao “N? Ano otoko igaide gekoni sake’o moru-yona kotowa itashi-masen.”
Maomao “Huh? I won’t make any non-drinker other than that man drink alcohol.”
壬氏「それも違う!」

Maomao (N? Rakanno motoni iku-nowa nenkiga akete-karato, giri’o tooshita tsumori-nan-daga… Dai-ichi sonna koto’o hobini suru-nowa, ano otoko-igai iru-hazuga…)
Maomao (Huh? I thought I was doing my duty by saying that I would go to Lakan after my contract ends… But first of all, there’s no way anyone other than that man would want something like that as a reward…)
壬氏「ん…もう良い!」
Jinshi “N… Mo yoi!”
Jinshi “That’s enough!”
猫猫(どうしたんだ?)
Maomao (Do shitanda?)
Maomao (What’s wrong?)
猫猫「次回、『壬氏と猫猫』。あの男は緑青館で、誰を身請けするのか…」
Maomao “Jikai, ‘Jinshi to Maomao.’ Ano otokowa Rokushokande, dare’o miuke suru-noka…”
Maomao “Next episode, ‘Jinshi and Maomao.’ Who will that man buy out at the Verdigris House?”
―――――――――――――――――――――――――――――――
「無事(ぶじ/Buji)」: safe, nothing bad happened

「得意(とくい/Tokui)」: be good at
「違う(ちがう/Chigau)」: different
「誰かの子になる(だれかのこになる/Darekano koni naru)」: become someone’s child
(“go live with someone” - I’m following the translation of the main story, but “go live with someone” and “become someone’s child” are different, you know. I like the tone, how Jinshi’s voice actor is saying this line, very much.)
「年季が明ける(ねんきがあける/Nenkiga akeru)」: one’s contract ends (Please note that we don’t normally use this phrase today, as it’s the words used in old times to refer to mainly prostitutes and children who were sold.)

「第一(だいいち/Dai-ichi)」: First of all, First
「褒美(ほうび/Hobi)」: reward (old word which means “reward” from someone in a high position to someone lower, but recently we often use this word like “自分へのご褒美(じぶんへのごほうび/Jibun’eno go-hobi)” when someone buy something nice for themselves after working hard.)

Maomao no Hitorigoto Episode 22 : Blue Rose / 猫猫のひとりごと 第22話『青薔薇(あおそうび/Ao-Sobi)』
Please note that the English lines are just my translations.
壬氏「しかし…美しいなぁ」
Jinshi “Shikashi… Utsukushii-naa.”
Jinshi “Anyway… It’s beautiful.”
猫猫(あー、寝不足だー)
Maomao (Aaa, nebusoku-daaa.)
Maomao (Oh, I’m sleep-deprived.)
壬氏「今回もご苦労だった」
Jinshi “Konkaimo gokuro datta.”
Jinshi “Thank you for your hard work this time as well.”
猫猫「いえ、何とか間に合ったようで、私も安堵(あんど)しております」
Maomao “Ie, nantoka mani-atta-yode, watashimo ando-shite-ori-masu.”
Maomao “No, it seems like I managed to make it in time, so I’m relieved.”
猫猫(あの軍師から持ち掛けられた話と聞いて、むきになってしまったな…)
Maomao (Ano gunshi-kara mochi-kake-rareta hanashi-to kiite mukini natte-shimatta-na…)
Maomao (I got all worked up since I heard that the strategist had offered the idea…)
猫猫「ここで、猫猫の豆知識。花は茎から水を吸い上げ、道管という細い管を通って、花びらの先端まで水を届ける。色水の水分は、花びらの表面などから蒸発するが、色素は蒸発しないため、花びらに色が残る」
Maomao “Kokode, Maomao’no mame-chishiki. Hanawa kuki-kara mizu’o sui-age, dokan-to-iu hosoi kuda’o tootte, hana-birano sentan-made mizu’o todokeru. Iro-mizuno suibunwa, hana-birano hyomen-nado-kara johatsu-suruga, shikisowa johatsu-shinai-tame, hana-birani iroga nokoru.”
Maomao “Here’s Maomao’s bits of knowledge. Flowers suck up water from their stems and deliver it to the tips of their petals through thin tubes called xylems. The water in the colored water evaporates from the surface of the petals, but the pigment does not evaporate, so the color remains on the petals.”
壬氏「園遊会でも、一際(ひときわ)目を引いていたぞ」
Jinshi “En’yu-kai-demo, hitokiwa me’o hiite-itazo.”
Jinshi “They really caught everyone’s attention at the garden party.”
猫猫「お役に立てたのであれば、光栄です」
Maomao “Oyakuni tateta-node areba, koei desu.”
Maomao “I’m honored if I could be of your help.”
壬氏「うん…そこでだ。今度は何を咲かせて皆を驚かせようか?」
Jinshi “Un… Sokode-da. Kondowa nani’o sakasete mina’o odoro-kase-yoka?”
Jinshi “Yes… Now then. What should we bloom next to surprise everyone?”
猫猫「はい?」
Maomao “Hai?”
Maomao “Yes?”
壬氏「真冬の桜はどうだ?あ、いや、真っ白な向日葵(ひまわり)も見てみたい…。あ、お前、足、無理するなよ。うーん…あとは…そうだな。一本の茎から薔薇と百合(ゆり)が…」
Jinshi “Mafuyuno sakurawa doda? A, iya, masshirona himawarimo mite-mitai… A, omae, ashi muri-surunayo. Uun… atowa… so-dana. Ipponno kuki-kara sobito yuriga…”
Jinshi “How about cherry blossoms in the middle of winter? Ah, no, I’d like to see pure white sunflowers, too… Ah, hey, don’t strain your legs. Hmm… other than that… That’s right. Roses and lilies growing from a single stem…”
猫猫(うーん… 体に害のない幻覚剤を開発した方が早そうだ)
Maomao (Uuun… Karadani gaino nai genkaku-zai’o Kaihatsu-shita-hoga haya-soda.)
Maomao (Hmm… It would be quicker to develop a harmless hallucinogen.)
猫猫「次回、『鳳仙花と片喰』。遂に、あの軍師に勝負を挑む…。もう逃げない」
Maomao “Jikai, ‘Hosenka to Katabami.’ Tsuini, ano gunshi-ni shobu’o idomu… Mo nige-nai.”
Maomao “Next episode, ‘Balsam and Woodsorrel.’ Finally, I’ll challenge that strategist… I won’t run away anymore.”
―――――――――――――――――――――――――――――――
「青薔薇」 is normally read as 「あおばら/Ao-Bara」 in Japan. 「そうび(Sobi)」 is Chinese way.
「寝不足(ねぶそく/Ne-busoku)」: lack of sleep, sleep deprivation = 「睡眠不足(すいみんぶそく/Suimin-busoku)」
「ご苦労(ごくろう/Gokuro)」「ご苦労様(ごくろうさま/Gokuro-sama)」(+です、でした)
「お疲れ(おつかれ/Otsukare)」「お疲れ様(おつかれさま/Otsukare-sama)(+です、でした)
There are no English words of same meaning. We say it to someone who finished his/her work.
In general, the person in higher rank says ご苦労~ to the person in lower. So Jinshi said it to Maomao.
If Maomao says to Jinshi, she says something like “お疲れ様でございました“.
「お疲れ様」 is also used just like “hello!” or “hi!” when we meet colleagues, whether they are at work or after work.
「間に合う(まにあう/Mani-au)」: be in time
「安堵する(あんどする/Ando-suru)」: be relieved. More formal than 「安心する(Anshin-suru)」 or 「ほっとする」
「むきになる(Mukini-naru)」: get worked up, get fired up, become serious
「一際(ひときわ/Hitokiwa)」: outstanding, remarkably, still more
「光栄な(こうえいな/Koei-na)」: be honored
「もう~ない(Mo~nai)」: not ~ anymore
