I’m really trying to think out of the box here, hehe.

I like the idea that reader is a published author. She doesn't have a big portfolio, but she has published two crime/mystery books. Simon (because I headcanon he’s an avid reader) stumbles upon them. And gets some *cough* inspiration *cough.*

Who is this little doe that has such creative ways to describe murder?

Showed up at a book signing for your second book. Played the part of awkward and gentle well until he left with your number. I think at this point the lads were already established in their poly relationship. And Simon wants you apart of it—whether friendship or relationship. He doesn’t care.

It’s amazing you didn’t fright when the latest killings that appeared on the news were very similar to your stories, just changed enough to make it seem like merely a coincidence.

You fall for Simon easily. Unsure of why he seems hesitant to just kiss you or do anything.

Simon eventually does reveal he wants to introduce you to 3 important people. You, excited to make more friends, invite them all over for dinner. You like to cook, it’s a perfect excuse to show off the new wine glasses you just got as well.

Oh doe, inviting them into your house was basically an invitation.

I think the other three saw quickly why Simon was smitten with you. The way you talked about your books proudly, how you said you liked being as accurate as possible. You were perfect. You basically provided the ideas, they did the dirty work.

I don’t think they waste time with anything. Quick and tactical wins the race. They all cornered you that night, assuring you it would all be okay and they would take care of you.

They meant it in every way. You don’t ever have to work another day. They also meant they were going to make your legs jelly and brain so fried you were hooked on them forever. They’re very obsessive, don’t know how to be anything other than intense.

You don’t even know how you ended up with four men locked in on your every move. Unfortunately, they don’t have tv out where you live so you can never see the news reports. You only ever share your ideas with them, so you would only wonder why there are killings eerily similar You’re smart, you’ll piece it together one day.

I think meeting Simon to the time of the polycule was a little drawn out, but once they all agreed they liked you, there was nothing stopping them.

Just ask Gaz, once upon a time, he was in your position as well. Preyed on, snagged, and then manipulated to be just like them.

They would never make you kill though. They just need you to keep using that pretty little brain of yours.

Part 2, part 3

Harley hummed. She eyed the newest inmate, a gorgeous hunk of meat with dark raven hair and bright blue eyes. He was wearing the usual orange suit, but he wore it like a model, with the buttons opened and sleeves rolled up, highlighting his broad arms and tight muscles. He was as beautiful as a demon, and even though Ivy was way prettier, Harley still couldn’t help but be curious.

Harley nodded to herself, thinking for only a moment. Then she waved a hand, calling out, ��Yoo hoo! You there! Hey, handsome! Why don’t you come here and spend some time with me and Ivy?”

Ivy rolled her eyes next to her. “Harley!” She hissed.

The man paused, tilted his head, and then smiled, flashing his sharp fangs before he crossed the prison yard to sit down with the two. People stared at them, but the man didn’t seem bothered.

“Hello,” he said politely, “what’s up?”

“You’re new here, ain’tcha?” Harley said rhetorically. “What’re you in for?”

The man chuckled. “I thought it was rude to ask?”

“Nahhh, in here? It doesn’t matter. Everyone already knows why we’re here, there’s no secrets around here. So? What’re you in here for?”

The man smiled. “I started teasing a little bird I found and then he started getting mad at me. I didn’t like how he made Batman go after me, so I made a building explode and I was tossed into here. I didn’t even kill anyone though!”

Seeing how large and old he was, Harley was a little worried and had to ask, “Which little bird?”

“The beautiful one with the black and blue suit and the pretty smile,” the man said dreamily, curling a lock of raven hair around his clawed fingers as he looked towards the sky in a daydream. “He was pretty funny too.”

Harley immediately cooed. Anyone who thought Nightwing was funny clearly hadn’t been hit over the head by his escrima sticks while he threw out obnoxious puns, but the way he described him was so sweet! He was clearly insane, so that was completely okay in her books!

“Awww, that’s so cute! Are you a meta or what? Those fangs o’ yours don’t look human!” Harley said, while Ivy shook her head exasperatedly.

The man shook his head with a small smile. “Not exactly. But I guess I do have meta powers.”

Ivy asked, “Then doesn’t that just make you a meta?”

The man shrugged and then asked, “What about you ladies?” Harley knew that he was just dodging the question, but she didn’t mind, so she began to prattle on about the recent museum break-in she and the girls did, but Selina got away while she and Ivy were caught. Selina was planning a break out for them soon, so they just had to sit tight and wait!

The man smiled, fangs appearing again. “Can I join you? I want to see that little bird again.”

Harley beamed, “Sure thing! What’s your name?” while Ivy groaned.

The man smiled and reached over to shake her hand. His hands were cold and large, like a chunk of ice. He smiled and his pupils sharpened into slits, but oddly enough, he still looked friendly, like a tiger in a way.

“Please. Call me Wraith.”

Headcannon idea!! Dressing up the 141 guys for Halloween (I know it’s not anywhere near Halloween but I’ve been thinking about this for a while) I would DIE to see Simon in a Jack in the Box mascot costume, or getting Gaz to dress like Lewis Hamilton just because they look so similar

Hell yeah. Halloween, my favorite holiday. Hehe.

WARNINGS: implied sexual content, implications of Price being dominated (hehe), reader is implied to be a Halloween LOVER (sorry if you aren't)

PRICE

Price is a secret Halloween enjoyer. Always has candy out on his desk during the whole month of October that he gobbles up. Soap, Gaz, and Ghost always get the remants. But he would die before he dressed up for anyone. If he had reader, though, he gets wrangled into wearing something.

"For the festivities, John."

"Got cheer up the bloody arse already, darling."

Said in a deadpan. You are not amused.

And that is how he gets forced to dress up like a cowboy in the wild west. He owns the outfit, and you spend a majority of the night staring at the way the pants hug his ass. Got the whole bakery out for the special holiday.

You put his lasso to good use that very night after the night outings. Emphasis on you. Roleplay was never much a part of your relationship, but something happened. He can't look you in the eye that next morning, but the next Halloween, he does ask what you guys are dressing up as.

GAZ

Okay, lowkey, had to look up Lewis Hamilton. Like, I know who he is somewhat, but not fully. And good lord??? I can definitely see Gaz dressing up as him. Fucking hot.

I think there many options for Gaz. A cyberpunk inspired outfit, a vampire... No matter what he does, you are jumping him because he looks good in everything. And he definitely does it on purpose. Playfully biting you with his fangs, going all all out on cybernetics... sometimes, he doesn't necessarily go as anything specific. But he does dress up in some way. He loves the festivities.

You see him naked all the time, but for some reason, any sliver of body you see on Halloween is like the equivalent of seeing an ankle. Maybe because he's a lot more relaxed if he truly gets to celebrate Halloween. Or maybe it's just cause it's Gaz and that man knows how to put together an outfit.

Has no shame in couple costumes and revels in it. Has it all planned out, don't you worry.

GHOST

Ghost plays with you. Makes you believe he isn't going to dress up at all, then walks into the room with a sheet over him and two eye holes cut out. When you ask if he's serious, he just answers with so much certainty that he is that you cross your arms and huff at him.

He lets it go on for a while. You're all dressed up, and there that dude just wearing his sheet. Gives it up when he genuinely starts to see you getting upset. He admits he didn't actually think of anything, but he did want to dress up.

The Jack in the Box Mascot costume, lol. That's crazy. We're both thinking of the demented snow man looking guy for the fast food chain, right??? (Help, what is he even supposed to be?) Or am I just dumb? Because if Ghost dressed up like that, I would be the reader that runs in the opposite direction. Bro is not getting laid in that, lol.

SOAP

You have a man here that is artistic as fuck. It's all out on Halloween, and he will not take no for an answer on couples shit. If you get lost while out somewhere, he wants people to know who you belong to.

Has worn a collar for different costumes before. And swoons if you yank on it. Not much of a roleplayer on other days, but loves it on Halloween for some reason.

I think he loves holidays in general, reminds him of when he gathered with his family when he was younger before life got in the way. So if he has reader who goes along with his antics, he is whipped. Always tries to one up other people with costumes and gets eerily good at it.

The good news is he helps you feel confident because he coaxes you into all kinds of different things.

His favorite part is the crafting, though. Loves being spread out on the floor with you, putting together stuff. It's so simple, and he just likes the bond with you. And you never have to worry about things not fitting you because he has your body memorized and knows what to do or not to do.

Has done animals, different eras, fictional characters... It does not fucking matter.

Lyfrassir Edda is one of the few characters in the mechanisms canon to actually form an opinion on the Mechanisms themselves. Sure Ashes interacted with a bunch of characters as Hades, but those characters didn't form an opinion on Ashes. They formed an opinion on Hades. Hades was integrated into how their world and society operates. Its the same with Brian during High Noon Over Camelot. Brian is just part of their world, in a way that the prison mechs are not during the Bifrost Incident.

Lyfrassir is very aware that the prison mechs are exceptionally weird and annoying, and basically states that to the audience. They get to see them as the weird, slightly voyeuristic freaks they are. Like this is the only album where the mechanisms do not actually get involved with the full plot. In OUATIS Jonny, Nastya, and Aurora are the reason the defense grid in New Constantinople goes down and the final battle can happen. In UDAD Ashes got both Heracles, and Orpheus on the job for Daedalus, helping cause the entire plot for the album. Then HNOC has Brian trying to stop the plot and failing miserably. In TBI Marius, Raphaella, and Ivy are in involved just to fix the Black Box which allows Lyfrassir to see the plot unfold (and then know to try to escape the oncoming apocalypse).

The prison mechs weren't around for the main plot events in TBI at all, they show up to Yggdrasil afterwards during all of the chaos post-Bifrost Incident. So Lyfrassir knows they're space pirates who know how to work tech that no one else does, but more importantly they find the trio incredibly annoying. Lyfrassir Edda got to interact with the mechanisms as they actually were, and made the opinion of "God, I hate them" and I love that for them.

Pink backgrounds go to Lady Mystic College! I also added the two last one who are still very much wips but I do really like :)

I first named the octopus girl Winnifred but I don't like that name anymore. I thought about Coralbelle, which is like Clarabelle but with coral and I thought that was so stupid and therefor I like it. As for the Hydra girl I thought about Dafni but I'm not 100 procent certain about that one either. Also thinking about changing Jacques name because its too close to Jack, but I am very attached to Jacques. I have such a hard life
