SH (still huffed): How much?

AZ: Well, since you need it that much, it's free for you!

C (eyeroll): Angel...

JW: Oh, no, we couldn't accept!

SH (impatient, annoyed): Yet, we will! Come now John, the game is back on!

(Sherlock drags John away by the sleeve. John only has time to practically throw a bill at Aziraphale, before they're out the shop. Crowley crosses his arms and leans against a shelf.)

C: I've got a bad feeling about those two. They smelled like death.

AZ: You think? Personally, I found they smelled like love. Quite a lot, in fact.

C: Ngk, whatever. S'not like we're ever gonna see them again. Now, you're coming, Angel? The Ritz is waiting for us.

To the SPN fans that are hating on good omens rn bc of the leak, I hope you choke. I've seen some really nasty shit today from some of my (now unfollowed) followers whom I followed for spn content. So let's make one thing clear from actual posts ive seen today:

-Saying that the "wrong angels kissed", is...homophobic. I was with destiel from beginning to end and yeah we were completely shafted, but it's not okay to then say that other gay couples in media aren't allowed to kiss just because they aren't the ones you thought were hot. Jesus christ didn't think I needed to write that one down for ya-bo burnham

-I saw so much fatphobia about how Castiel deserved a kiss more than Aziraphel bc "he has far more sex appeal." Wtf wtf wtf. How do you live with yourselves saying that shit?You can pry Micheal Sheens body type Aziraphel out of my cold dead hands, you CW brainwashed morons!

-hate against the author for some reason, no one is willing to give specifics about it, but I think the majority of them maintain that GO is not good rep because they didn't kiss and now they are claiming pandering or something? Honestly that guy has only ever stood with the writers guild and queer people his whole career from what I find so I don't think it's fair whatever hate they are spouting. He isnt even saying he is upset with fans that saw or shared the video. Hes being super nice about it!

-I will say, non of us SPN fans have a fucking leg to stand on when it comes to hating something bc of the authors, OK. I saw someone saying the writing for spn was better and I can say you did not watch the show. I loved spn but don't do the late Terry Pratchett like this. He did nothing wrong

-on that same ish strain, as an ace person who thrives off queerplatonic relationships in media, maybe they kiss, I dunno. I just have to wait until the season comes out. Not 1 SPN fan gets to bitch about GO asexualty rep when SPN never even tried that route with any of its characters. But also ace characters are allowed to kiss, so you can write them that way of you want and interpret them that way if you want still. This is your viewing experience.

-this leak is truly not the same as the SPN yo a ti leak, solely bc the episode hasn't aired yet. "None of you GO fans would have survived the yo a ti leak." No I think you wouldn't bc the spn leak was clinging to an already mangled straw, while the angel's in GO are queer already. Queer queer queer and no amount of kissing or lack thereof is going to change that. We have no idea what happens in that episode of GO, but we saw the creators butcher the only moment in the show that could have meant anything real for queer viewers in SPN.

-"SPN crowly was kissing dudes first so this one is not that impressive". I see two cakes. One was made with the intent to make gay people look evil, but over time got kinda funny and a little better bc gay people liked it, and the other was about telling an interesting story about how love is so important, especially at the end of the world, and gay people liked that one too! So for me it's YaY two cakes!

-again the anti aziraphel is so plainly just fatphobia. You have no excuses. Sorry you don't think someone who looks like a slightly chubby micheal sheen could ever get kissed by someone who looks like David tennant, but you are not only wrong, you are also childish.

OK I'm done. Go watch good omens s2 when it comes out for my fucking sanity please. Or don't if all you are going to do is try to rip it apart like you do to all media that tries to be better.

ohhh twelve is good,, admittedly, its been AGES since ive seen doctor who and i am yet to catch up on the new season, but i am very very biased towards nine and ten. those two were my quarantine obsessions,,, and ten then continued to spiral out of control to the point i ended up watching diff shows just because david tennant was in them hfghkd (cough cough,, the good omens series,,, it got so bad i even had the book gifted to me but i have yet to finish it,,, its been like 3 years oh no)

and aa same !!! i wanna watch classic who so bad but i am procrastinating on doing it,, but i think i could probably find it somewhere pirated instead

Nine was honestly such a great Doctor and I'm upset he only had one season, but I understand that Christopher Eccleston didn't want to return as Nine.

When I was first into Doctor Who, we watched up until the 13th Doctor and I barely got into the first episodes of her first season before being like "I'm out." I just didn't like how many companions she was traveling with, it was so overwhelming.

But I'm hoping that now it'll be better when I watch the 13th Doctor's first season again.

During the past five hours ive been watching Good Omens, almost the full first season, with my sis.

There are only two (2) episodes left and i dont think i will sleep tonight, overthinking this show without being able to watch any content about it without the risk of being spoiled about the end.

Its really freaking me out.

It was finally the day of your "date with Eric." The only person you could really tell was your mom but then she was over protective, about being with a guy alone. You were beyond excited. You could really be yourself around him. I mean of course you were still nervous as hell and worried wheather you looked good or not.

3:30 pm 1977

You walked in seeing Eric at the counter.

"hey y/n I got us a table."

"oh thanks. What a gentleman." He walked you over holding out your seat for you.

"that is i... You look really nice by the way."

"thank you", you blushed. "So how was school?"

"oh you know same old same old. Homework yay." You laughed.

After a little while he asked if you wanted to go see the new movie coming out.

"great so what that'll be our second date??" He asked.

"oh that movie was amazing. So many deaths, it was crazy."

"I think it was about like what 7 or 8?"

The movie was hard to watch with them talking and getting out of the car.

"Eric you took her to the drive in because you were so gonna make out with her."

"Kelso shut up." Hyde smacked him in the arm.

"yeah she was practically throwing herself at you."

"well yeah but we've ALREADY been on a date so ha Jackie suck on that."

"Two weeks ago."

"well I'm glad we're on one the same page then." You smiled evilly leaning in, Eric doing the same. It was a great kiss. His lips were so soft and you had butterflies in your stomach. You pulled back after a minute.

You: "wow, you're a great kisser, but I think... I have to try it again and see."

"then I guess we have to do it again."

I watched Good Omens for the first time in April and found these stories in March. I have rewatched the show four times and reread your stories several times. I just have been having trouble finding the right words for the reviews. When the questions came up I was glad that I was not the only one loving your Good Omens’ stories. I did questions 1 - 5 for One by One and 3-4, 11-12 for Holy Ground. Also I was the one who asked about inefficiency husbands and was pleasantly surprised it was about them.

A Review for both One by One and Holy Ground

One by One Review November 1st

I love this journey through time. As much as I enjoyed the walk from Petronius, which was so breathtaking, and was later impressed by finding out the research that went into that, I am glad this story takes place during different time periods each with its own unique feel. It reminds me of the first half of the third episode, my favorite part, where they show the development of the relationship except you do it through kisses. The narrative is beautiful throughout.

I love how you took thrown lines and turned them into story pieces. The “cannot kill kids” into the arc scene. That scene is so beautiful with the two of them hiding with saved kids. There is also an odd cozy feel to it. Also making the rain their thing connecting the wing umbrella to the flood. You also took the line about Crowley creativing stars into the Historical London scene, which is so peaceful and romantic. Also you reverse the “I knew what you smell like,” line Crowley said to Aziraphale having Aziraphale noticed Crowley’s perfume. I was so intrigued by the smells you picked out for it. I even appreciated it more when I found out how much work you put into it.

The slow buildup makes the ending so much sweeter. I just loved that their new freedom was expressed in the bookshop. An excellent job on this one.

Holy Ground Review November 4th

I was torn because I like the idea of them living in Soho, London near the bookshop but living in a cottage in Tadfield sounds peaceful for them. The first part with Crowley and Aziraphale in bed just awoke them so sweetly. I wish I could remember which episode had “crowd, every time” but it's been awhile since I watched. I loved the “crepes, every time,” here demonstrating Aziraphale's love of food, especially crepes. Also I loved this tease of Crowley showing Aziraphale’s more devious nature that he's been trying to deny for the longest time. I loved how descriptive of the unique ring. I do love the idea that Crowley wants to slither away out of fear. “A never ending storm in the ocean of his mind,” was my favorite phrase in the story. Them watching, listening and smelling the rain that is so meaningful to them creates a beautiful picture.

I don't know this is rather long so if you do not want to respond I’ll understand. I will give kudos accordingly to each story.

And the “coward/crepes every time” is a bigger throw back to David’s days on doctor who 😆 some people catch it and it’s nice. I just. I loved the symbolism and the universe I got to create and explore in the fics. I was really torn honestly between writing them living in SoHo, in the complex above the bookshop. Or in Tadfield. Perhaps one of the doors is miracled to open to their room in the other place.

One of the biggest jolts of serotonin ive ever seen! Just such a lovely lovely show! It feels like a hug in animation form a lot of the time! My favorite is the Woodman lol. Can't wait for season 2!

Good Omens:

Absolutely came to me at the exact right time! My current hyperfixation so sorry to all my mutuals. A lovely show, with great great main characters and witty writing! If you were turned off by the initial Tumblr hype the fandom has settled, so now is an excellent time to check it out!

Wander Over Yonder:

This show kept me ALIVE back in 2015! I hopped on the bandwagon right as season 2 premiered and let me tell you. This show may be fun and silly with lots of laughs but I think it holds the record for a show making me cry. Lots of love to WOY please go check this one out! #saveWOY

The Great British Baking Show: 

I don’t believe I’ve ever mentioned it on here but I really love to bake and armed with my antique cookbook I crank out the occasional delicious treat. The Great British Baking show is delightfully funny and really puts its contestants through the ringer! Any time I watch any other baking show I always find myself saying “pfft, these guys wouldn’t last a day on The Great British Baking Show” 

Gravity Falls: 

What can I say? I’m a bit of an O.G, fan...I’ve been around since the very first episode but really fell hard for the show when “Dreamscapers” premiered. I have ancient fan art to prove it! A great show all around. Mystery, comedy, and heart! 

Ducktales 2017: 

I watched the premier on a whim one day when I was home alone and was pleasantly surprised by just how good this show is! Seasons 1 and 2 have hit home and season 3 surely will as well when it premiers! Now unlike the first few mentioned on this list...I have my fair share of problems with the show. But its still an absolute delight and I love it and highly recommend it! 

Steven Universe (Future and Original):

The Tumblr Darling itself. Back in the early days of season 2 I saw a few episodes in hotel rooms. Then I went and tried to watch it from the beginning...and...well I was underwhelmed...then I happened to catch the Malachite vs. Alexandrite battle on tv one day and I was like “hhjsnfkrgj???” so I finally broke down and tried again. And man did I fall for it hard...Peridot’s arch is the highpoint of the entire show for me. This is another I have my fair share of problems with, however, it has really earned its hype!

She-Ra (Netflix)

About three days after it premiered on Netflix I locked myself in my room one Sunday and binge watched the whole first season. This show is a gorgeous, well written, masterpiece full of character and a drive to tell a compelling story. The first season had me hooked but boooooy lemme tell you if Season two didn’t blow me outta the water! Season three was good too and I have high hopes for season four. Would recommend if really only for my Scorpion wife.

They are the Sole reason I got into this show and one of the main reasons I stick with it. Though I put them so low on the list because they need to grow more healthy before I really really get into it. They have so much potential and room for growth.

Just two cinnamon rolls in love. Thats about all I can say about them. I think they have a really deep bond and trust in one another. His drive to want to help her and her need to protect him Its just really cute to watch. His anguish when he thought she died and his relief and happiness when she wasnt-It tugged at my heart. I know most people prefer my honorable mention as opposed to this one but...I just really, really love their dynamic.

8. Ymir and Historia

Ahh, they are just so. Heartbreaking and...beautiful. Ymirs love for Historia is so refreshing in such a dark show. This pairing made me fall in love with it so quickly and then later on it was so beautifully executed...Ymir being the one that made Historia become her true self and be honest with everyone and Historia being the reason Ymir cared for others made be love this couple so much. And dont even get me started on Ymirs letter to her. I dont need to open that box of tissues.

7. Marinette and Chat Noir (Miraculous Ladybug)

I just perfer this dynamic over most of the others in this show. I dont know why? I just do haha. I guess because he thinks he needs to protect Marinette but in reality she is strong enough to take care of herself? And the fact I just like Chat Noirs personality better with Marinette. Its fun to see. 

6. Kyoko and Sayaka (Puella Madoka Magica)

Ahh, The red and blue gays. Its no secret this is a thing. Their will be spoilers here if you havnt watched the anime!! I highly suggest it!! They butt heads, taunt, tease, and would gladly punch each other. But they also understand each other in a way no one else does. Kyoko opened up to Sayaka. She...didnt do that for any of the other characters. And then she died trying to save her soul. And when Sayaka and Kyoko both came back in another timeline Sayaka admitted to having one regret. And It was leaving Kyoko behind.  Its just...so good.

5. Gon and Killua (Hunter x Hunter 2011)

This is a couple that Im content with staying as a brotp or otp. They are both young-To young for this to be anything but pure fluff to me. They trust each other so, so much and would die protecting one another. They also have angst-A lot of it but Im not going to spoil it for anyone who might not know. I will say I just started liking them together just because of how sugery sweet they are usually. Killua is highly protective over Gon, as he was his first friend. And Gon has such a high trust in Killua its amazing. I just think they are too precious for this world. Platonic or otherwise.

4. Mika and Yuu (Owari no Seraph)

Ahh, My gay bois. My gay demon and Vampire due. They are just. So. perfect together??? Its weird how fast I shipped it?? Mika and Yuu has such a deep bond and good chemistry its amazing. I litterally saw them in the first episode and started to ship them. Mikas strong protective instinct over ‘Yuu-chan’ and Yuus despair over having to leave Mika behind was just...great. And Yuu offering his blood to Mika and immediate acceptance was heartwarming...I love them together so much.

3.Mutsuki and Urie-(Tokyo Ghoul Re:)

Alright now were getting to the controversial one. Im not so sure if this is a loved or hated pairing-But I know Mutsuki is a fairly disliked character. I personally love him and think hes an extremely interesting character to read and study. And his relationship with Urie being one of the prime reasons I love him. Urie and Mutsuki have had a ongoing bond since the auction raid and it just seemed to grow more and more apparent to me that Urie seemed to have romantic feelings towards Mutsuki. Mutsuki seems to see Urie as a source of comfort and security as he opens up to him the most out of everyone else. And not to mention Urie gets...very protective over Mutsuki as seen above and in other scenarios. I just really love them together.

2. Glenn and Maggie (The Walking Dead)

I stopped watching this show a long time ago-However this couple always stuck out to me and gave me hope. I loved Glenn and I loved Maggie and I loved them together. Such a loving and supportive relationship. They gave such a bleak show some hope and love. We got to see them going from nothing to sex partners to having a relationship and, eventually, a marriage. And then a pregnancy. It was amazing to watch and I still love it to this day.

1. The Doctor and Clara (Doctor who)

Another controversial one I think? I loved Clara. She is my favorite companion by a long shot. I loved her storylines. I loved her with both of the doctors. She had such a good chemistry with the eleventh doctor it was unbeatable. And the way she had to learn to relove the twelfth one was just...both angsty and cute. They both clearly loved her-At least in my opinion.  And she loved them as well. The way the Doctor fought to bring her back when the Raven got her and the way He jumped in his own timestream to save her it just summented this couple as my favorite one out of all the new ones I shipped.

Hospital

Just a little logicality fic that I wrote late at night. I hope you enjoy it. I would love to post a part two or more. If I do I’ll link to it here.

Inspiration for this post

Patton had been getting better until his condition took a turn for the worst. He was born with a rare blood disorder and was certain he was going to die around the age of two. But now, as a fourteen year old, he was the most optimistic person, likely to ever live. 

He had been in and out of the hospital for all his life and hadn’t been there for six or so months when he had fallen extremely ill. Being rushed to the hospital was a rush that he sadly knew all to well and was no longer scared by the sirens of the ambulance or the musings of his mother in her attempts to soothe him. Instead, Patton found this whole ordeal rather annoying. His breathing mask was a little crooked and the straps around his ears were itchy. 

They arrived at the hospital and Patton was placed in a room he had been in many times before. Doctor Marcie came in and out, checking one thing then leaving to attend to another patient before returning, only to leave yet again. There were no children’s hospitals nearby so the child section of the St. James hospital was often understaffed and over filled. 

Patton waited patiently, though he had his iPad to help with that. Soon he was told that he would have to stay overnight for a while and was sent to an empty room. There were two beds, though the other had no patient. Two TVs and a curtain separating the room in two. Patton was put in the bed farthest from the door and was left with his mother and older sibling Talyn.

“Oh, Pat, don’t worry.” His sweet mother assured him.

“I’m not worried momma!” He giggled.

You’re so brave.” She cooed.

“Momma, he’s been here so many times, I think he’s used to it by now.” Talyn stated.

“Talyn!” 

“Momma, they’re right.” Patton said. He grasped his Mother’s hand and smiled.

“Oh hun, you are perfect.” She sighed.

“No I’m not momma.” 

“Pat, you know this isn’t the time to argue with her.” Talyn reminded their small sibling.

“Yeah.” He replied grinning up at his sibling. 

As the night drew closer Patton’s mother and sibling had to leave. It was a bit tearful for the older woman but Talyn helped their mother out and soon Patton was left in the room. Alone.

Oh, he hated being alone. No one to talk to, no one to smile at, nothing but silence. 

Luckily, he had his iPad and the room had a TV. Patton began absently flipping through stations until he found reruns of The Office. Using that as background noise he started scrolling through Instagram, liking posts and watching makeup tutorials and satisfying videos. 

Then, around eight pm, another kid was rolled into the room and put in the other bed. He too, had glasses and Patton desperately wanted to point out that fact.

However, he knew that many kids didn’t want to talk with their ‘roommate’ right away. So he kept quiet. 

After assuring the other kid was comfortable in his bed all but one nurse left. She walked over to Patton and began checking on him. 

“How are you doing Pat?” She asked. 

“I’m doing good Nora.” Patton smiles. Nurse Nora was Patton’s favorite. She was often his nurse while he was at the hospital and she never looked at him with pity and sadness like all the others. He wondered if her eyes were always filled with hope.

“You’re lookin’ alright. Everything seems fine. Other than you being sick that is.” She made Patton giggle.

“When is Emile coming?” 

“He’ll be here to see you in morning Honeybee.” Nora told Patton.

“Yay! Oh, I have to ask him Remy!” Patton exclaimed.

“I’m sure Dr. Picani will be happy to tell you all about it.” Nora said looking at the chart.

She set down the chart and turned to Patton. 

“Pat, this is Logan. He’s gonna be here for a while like you.” She told him.

“M’kay.” He replied side-eyeing the boy quickly.

Nora gave him a small ‘bap’ on the head and turned to leave. 

“I’ll be back in to check on you again around eleven Honeybee.” She called.

Nora left the room and Patton felt his face ease out of the bright grin he had and into a smaller, more comfy smile. Patton lowered the volume on his tv as another episode of The Office began. He laid back his pillow and watched intently at the screen. Well, at least he was trying to watch intently. Instead he was sneaking glances at the other boy in the room. Logan, as Patton now knew, had his glasses off and his nose in a book. In fact, it appeared he had been left with a rather large stack of books. 

Patton particularly liked how the boy’s facial expression shifted as he read. Logan’s small smile turned to shock, then his eyebrows creased into an angry look, then he softened and stared at the page in endearment. At one point Patton thought he had caught Logan re-reading the same paragraph several times. He was chewing on the inside of his lip in nervousness, but his eyes betrayed that action. Logan’s eyes were shimmering with a glow Patton knew only as love. He must be reading something he loved. 

Logan flipped the page and that glimmer of love in his eyes faded away. Patton felt his own face waver as he saw this. 

Patton then realized he had likely been looking at Logan long enough for it to be considered rude and turned away. After not being able to fully focus on the show Patton decided to turn off the TV and play on his iPad. The WiFi at the hospital was horrid but Patton had time to waste. While one particular game was loading Patton decided to take another glance at Logan.

The boy had somehow fallen asleep. The book rested on his chest that rose and fell and his hair was tossed carelessly around his face. Patton felt a grin grow on his face as he saw how content Logan was. The other kids that Patton had shared a room with in the past weren't usually content. Those kids slept with a permanent look of pain. Their eyes were so full of sadness. Some had tear stains on their cheeks that Patton didn't know how long were there or how long would last. Seeing a boy so peaceful like Logan made Patton so simply happy. 

Logan then turned on his side toward Patton, the book falling to the floor. When the sound didn't wake Logan up Patton grabbed the IV on the side of his bed and got on his knees so he could wheel it around the bed. He got it to the left of him and attempted to quietly get off the bed. Once his feet were safely on the cold floor, Patton walked to the book and picked it up. Good Omens, Patton read. The cover was a simple sketch of a man with angel wings reading a red book in front of a black background. The font was funny looking and Patton made a mental note to try and read it once he was out of the hospital. 

He went to place it on Logan's dresser when he heard a sudden intake of air next to him. Patton looked over and saw Logan suddenly sitting up in the bed, staring at him, clearly startled. 

"Uh, sorry, I didn't mean to wake you." Patton rushed to say. "It's just, your book fell while you were sleeping and I didn't want it to be on the dirty floor."

"Oh." Logan seemed to calm once given the explanation, his shoulders relaxed. "Thank you." 

"Of course." Patton squinted as he ginned. He placed the book on the stand next to Logan's bed and walked, his IV in hand, over to the right side of his bed before sitting down cross-legged on the soft blue blanket his mother had left. 

It was quiet. Patton decided he didn't enjoy the quiet and perhaps this was the time to talk to Logan. He looked over at the boy who had put his glasses on and was fixing up his hair a little. Patton felt a giggle rise from his throat. His glasses were crooked. Not enough that Logan could tell but Patton sure could. 

"Um, Logan?" Patton asked. 

"Yes?" He looked over at Patton. 

"Your glasses are crooked." Patton told him. 

"Oh." He began his attempts to fix them. After several tries where he would look to Patton for assurance that they were level and get a 'no' as a response Patton decided to simply fix it for him. 

Once again pulled his IV to the other side of the bed, Patton walked over to Logan and adjusted the glasses on his face. He smiled at Logan once done and the boy smiled back, though Logan's was, a smaller simpler smile. 

"You seem to know the hospital staff very well." Logan pointed out as Patton sat back down on his bed. 

"Yea, I've got a blood disorder so I'm in and out of here a lot." Patton explained. 

"Hm." Logan appeared to be assessing Patton's expression, though Pat couldn't tell what he was looking for. "Why did the nurse call you Honeybee."

"Uh, well," Patton felt embarrassment creep into his cheeks. "Nurse Nora was one of the very first nurses that I had on the regular rotation and when I first met her, I was obsessed with this stuffed animal. It was a bee with a little pot of honey on top. So, she started calling me Honeybee. Only a few people call me honeybee around here. Nora, Dr. Picani, Dr. Bollis, the secretary at the front desk, her name is Virginia, and the pastry chef down at the cafeteria, Mr. Thomas."

Logan nodded along as Patton gave him unasked for information. He didn't mind however. There wasn't much else to do. 

Once it seemed like Patton was finished Logan decided to speak up. "I suppose I should tell you about my condition, seeing as you told me yours."

"Oh, you don't have to Logan! I understand if it makes you uncomfortable to talk about."

"Really?" Logan tilted his head. 

"Yea!" Patton gave him another toothy grin. 

"Thank you." Logan reciprocated. 

"I never would want to make you uncomfortable. A lot of kids here don't like to talk about why they have to be in the hospital." Patton told him. "It's normal."

"I've heard you mention a Doctor Picani, who is that?" Logan asked.

"He's the child therapist at the hospital. He comes to visit all the kids at least once when they're here over night." Patton explained. 

"Ah." Logan nodded in understanding. 

The two continued to chat for a while. Patton would explain something about the hospital to Logan and Logan would ask some more questions until Patton had a question of his own. 

"What is your book about?" 

"Sorry?" Logan looked at his other bespectacled friend. 

"Your book, I think it was called Good Omens. It had funny font and an angel on the cover." Patton clarified. 

"You want to know about my book?" Logan asked. 

"Well, yeah, that's why I asked silly!" Patton giggled. 

"Oh, uh, well, it's about this angel and demon, both were sent to Earth to observe human evolution and perform miracles, that's the angel's job, or create mischief, the demon's job." Logan began to tell. "After a few thousand years the angel, who's name is Aziraphale, and the demon, who's name is Crowley, realize that whenever one does something beneficial the other just counteracts it with a bad deed."

Patton looked at Logan intently as he explained away the book. "Eventually they become good friends and both live in central London. Aziraphale owns and runs a bookshop while Crowley has a Bentley, you know the old car."

Patton nodded, reading the excitement and glee plastered all over Logan's face. 

"Then the Antichrist is born, and he's supposed to bring about the end of the world. However, neither Crowley or Aziraphale want that so they attempt to stop the end of the world on the Antichrist's eleventh birthday. So they-" Logan looked Patton directly in the eyes. "are you planning on reading the book?" 

"Oh, uh, I suppose so." Patton shrugged. 

"Then, I guess I shouldn't tell you what happens. People tend to not like it when I explain in detail the plots of the books I'm reading." Logan looked down. 

"No! No, no, keep going. Though I know how it ends that doesn't mean I won't want to read it." Patton assured him. 

"Really?" Logan asked. Patton nodded quickly and Logan continued. 

He explained every event in the book in great detail and would even draw Patton a diagram of confusing plot points so he could better understand it. Patton tried very hard to focus on everything Logan was saying but he found that when the boy was joyfully going on about something he's passionate about, Logan is hard to look away from. At some point Logan had walked over to sit on Patton's bed with him and was giddily showing Patton the diagram he had drawn up though at this point Patton had completely given up on paying attention to Logan's musings. Instead he had zoned out, his mind racing, never stopping to think about one thought or another too quickly. Though he somehow always tied his thoughts back to the boy sitting next to him, Patton decided to not unpack all of that at the moment. Besides, what real harm was being done if his absent-minded staring just so happened to be in the general area where Logan sat next to him. 

"Patton." 

"Ya-huh?" Patton's eyes came back into focus as once Logan got his attention. 

"Oh, uh, I was just making sure you understood what I was saying." Logan gave a small smile before turning back to the "evidence" he had laid out on the bed. 

"Yep." Patton continued to stare in Logan's general area as the smart boy went on. 

"So, as I was saying I think-" Logan turned his head to the right and looked at Patton realizing the cheery boy was staring at Logan's hair. Logan exhaled and lightly took Patton's chin in his fingers, tilting the other boy's head back to the diagrams on the bed. This time assuring that he could fully understand what Logan was saying. 

Patton pursed his lips and visibly pouted a little but didn't complain. He did however sneak one last look at Logan who had just the lightest hue of pink dusting his ears. 

As Logan drew to a close on his lecture about his the current book he was reading he transferred back to his bed and was organizing his belongings. 

"Thank you for listening to me Patton. I usually can't find anyone willing to listen to me talk about my interests."

"Oh of course, to be fully honest I spaced out a little, but a book about an Angel and a Demon falling in love," Patton laid back in his bed, a dreamy look on his face. "what's not to be interested with?"

"What?" Logan looked at his curly haired friend, flabbergasted. "They're best friends, they're not in love." 

"Yeah ok." Patton raised his eyebrows and chuckled. 

"They aren't." Logan stated. 

"Oh, please." Patton sat up, turning to look Logan directly in the eye. "Logan, I have been in and out of this hospital my entire life. I have memorized almost every facial expression there is. I can tell how someone is feeling just by how they walk. I can see past every faked smile and forced laugh. I know what eyes filled with pity or pain look like better than, I dare say, anyone. People's actions portray their feelings more than they know. And from simply all you have told me about Crowley and Aziraphale, I can tell you with complete certainty. They are in love." Patton punctuated the last four words forcefully. 

Logan looked at Patton with a small amount of shock. That however, faded quickly. Replaced instead by a content resting face. "Well, I guess it is a possibility." He mumbled. 

"It's essentially a fact." Patton once again laid back. 

It was quiet for the first time in a while. Though, the silence wasn't awkward as Patton had become used too. Instead, it was an easy silence. Logan, though Patton couldn't see very well, was going over the notes he had made, clearly searching for something to disprove Patton's conjecture. Patton felt a smug smile reach his lips as he closed his eyes. Enjoying the silence. That is until Logan gives a frustrated grunt and slammed his note book shut. Patton sat up, concerned. This wasn't the outcome he had expected. 

"Hey, uh, Logan." Patton tentatively began. "Your voice is really nice."

"What?" Logan jerked his head up, his voice breaking a little. 

"Your voice. I liked listening to you talk about the book, but your voice is very calming." Patton continued explaining. "You see, my older sibling Talyn has a friend, Virgil, he's read those H. P. Lovecraft books and he loves talking about them. I usually tune it out, which sounds rude but sometimes I just cannot continue hearing him vent about such yucky topics. However, I loved listening to you talk about Good Omens. Though the book itself isn't as gross as Lovecraft I also think your voice is part of the reason why I was so interested."

"Oh, well," Logan took a shaky in take of breath. "Thank you." 

Patton smiled as a response and let his head rest on the pillow behind him. The minutes ticked on. It was slow but Patton turned on his TV and the two watched reruns of whatever shows they could find that was somewhat enjoyable. At some point the clock had struck eleven and Nora came back in. Checking both boys vitals before turning off the TV and wishing them a goodnight. 

The dark room was once again plunged into silence that neither boy seemed to enjoy. Patton found he could not sleep for the life of him and figured Logan had drifted off at that point. So, when Logan shifted in his bed and spoke Patton jumped just a little.

“Patton, are you still awake?” He whispered. 

“No.” Patton admitted. Opening his eyes and allowing them to adjust. 

“I cannot seem to rest.” Logan sighed. 

“Neither can I.” Patton giggled. 

It was quiet for a beat too long. 

“I feel I should admit something to you.” Logan whispered, his voice full of hesitation. 

“Shoot.” Patton assured his friend.

“Earlier. When I initially awoke from my nap.” Logan began. “You told me my glasses were crooked. I purposely never fixed them correctly.”

It was quiet. 

“Wow.” Patton began a soft giggle that grew. “You are a lot more subtle than I am.”

“Oh?” 

“Very much so.” Patton continued his giggle. “That was a pretty smooth move there.”

“My friends would have called it desperate.” Logan admitted. Patton pursed his lips.”However, I’m not good with emotions at all. I’m not the best at, well, anything of the sort. I can’t just tell you I think you’re cute now can I?”

“Why not?” Patton asked, completely dodging the fact that this adorable boy had called him cute. 

“Well, for one you could be straight.” Logan pointed out. 

“Me? I’m as gay as everyone’s first impression of Aziraphale, Logan.” Patton chided.

Logan chuckled. Patton too laughed at his own comment. It was quiet. Though he couldn’t see any colors other than dark grey and black Patton could feel the red on Logan’s ears. Or perhaps that was just Patton’s hope that Logan’s face felt as hot as his did.

"I love sleepovers." He sighed. 

"Patton, I don't believe this counts as a sleepover."

"I'm in a nightgown aren't I?" Patton said as though this was an argument. 

"It's a hospital gown and attire doesn't really make it a sleepover." Logan countered. 

"Truth or dare?" Patton asked, turning on his side toward Logan.

Logan was quiet. Clearly searching Patton's face once again, this time likely for a sign that he was joking. After some time Logan looked away. 

"Dare." He sighed.

(Note: This show ended back in 2009 and even had a movie made for it but they just brought it back this year. I haven’t seen the newest season except for the first episode, so I don’t know if they’re continuing it or what.)

Criminal Minds (2005-?): The cases of the F.B.I. Behavioral Analysis Unit (BAU), an elite group of profilers who analyze the nation’s most dangerous serial killers and individual heinous crimes in an effort to anticipate their next moves before they strike again.

The Vampire Diaries (2009-2017): A young teen struggles to make a decision between two vampire brothers and their supernatural lives. Soon after she discovers the truth her whole world turns upside down.

Glee (2009-2015): A group of ambitious misfits try to escape the harsh realities of high school by joining a glee club, where they find strength, acceptance and, ultimately, their voice, while working to pursue dreams of their own.

American Horror Story (2011-?): An anthology series centering on different characters and locations, including a house with a murderous past, an asylum, a witch coven, a freak show, a hotel, a farmhouse in Roanoke and a cult. (Watch seasons 1-3. They are iconic. The rest? Eh.)

DEGRASSI. I’ve only watched The Next Generation starting at like season six I think? But IT’S SO GOOD. I really only watched up until Eli and Clare and their gang left the show, but I recommend this show SO MUCH. 

Salem (2014-2017): Explores what really fueled the town's infamous witch trials and uncovering the dark, supernatural truth hiding behind this infamous period in American history.

Bates Motel (2013-2017): A contemporary prequel to Psycho, giving a portrayal of how Norman Bates' psyche unravels through his teenage years, and how deeply intricate his relationship with his mother, Norma, truly is.

Gilmore Girls (2000-2007): A dramedy centering around the relationship between a thirtysomething single mother and her teen daughter living in Stars Hollow, Connecticut. (This is another show that has a revival, and I’m not sure whether it’s continuing or if it was just a one season sort of thing. According to my knowledge, the revival was a mini series with four episodes, each one about an hour and thirty minutes each.)

So today sort of sucks. Well, actually it started yesterday. I had almost started to maybe feel better. Maybe. Not 💯 but not negative spoons upon waking, you know? I had planned on watching Good Omens.

So okay, I lied it actually started Friday. I had gotten my IVIG. I was falling asleep waiting to go up from sign in to the Infusion room. This is at 8 am in the morning mind you.

So I get up to the Infusion room and my BP was 89/65. I was also dehydrated. The first try on the IV the vein wouldn't work. So it took a second stick. Then they had to track my Doctor down because they discontinued the medication I take. He had to issue a new script but he was out of the office. So my drip started almost 2 hours later then usual. But it dripped slightly faster, so I got out about an hour late.

Then I was sleepy all yesterday. I wasn't up to doing anything and my Dad convinced me to eat a Turkey sandwich for dinner. I have been take it or leave it on dinner. I haven't been eating breakfast and lunch is the only meal I definitely eat. But back to that sandwich.

So there are a couple different choices of grocery stores near us. There is one store my Dad likes and there is one I like. My Dad went to his favorite to get dinner and bought pre-sliced D&W turkey and cheese. Now I don't dislike the store he likes but they don't train their deli staff. They never really wipe down the blades and they cut everything too thick. Even knowing this, I let my Dad talking me into eating that sandwich.

I had to dry the turkey off. It was soaking wet. And stupid me, I still ate it.

I did give up halfway through. I started to feel the effects and realized what a mistake I had made. We have a family saying it's better to throw it out than to throw it up.

Unfortunately, I should have thrown it out before I even took a bite.

I had to keep pausing the last two episodes of Good Omens to run to the bathroom and worship a different deity, to bow before the throne.

So I figured everything was out and I would be fine.

Never say that. It's the kiss of death.

This morning I had the other half of the bathroom tango. By the time I was done I was five pounds lighter.

I wanted to lose weight but this is the most horrendous diet I've ever been on.

Next time I'll try Weight Watchers or something.
