lance as the blue paladin (former or current, doesnt matter) being a black widow. lance swallowing/killing his pride and letting himself be seen as nothing more than a flirt, an airhead, a blonde bimbo. lance being the teams secret weapon during meetings with planets to get them to join the coalition. lance sniffing out the right guard or advisor or royal that knows everything, getting them wasted and flirting for hours to get them to spill all the dirty secrets. lance being able to alert the team ahead of time if a planet is truly interested in joining the coalition or if they have an agreement with the empire and they lured voltron there as a trap.

lance swallowing/killing his pride and letting himself be seen as weak and stupid. lance playing up the airhead persona so their enemies don’t view him as a threat, them taking out the rest of the team first in their order of who would pose more of a threat to them and them always leaving lance for last bc they underestimate him. lance annihilating their enemies bc he actually is smart and strong and capable.

Mad respect on this game for actual consequences. Tried to be a smart ass to an actual goddess and she just snaps her fingers and the entire parties dead no combat no dialogue just gone no cutscene, just like actually had to reload because we DEAD dead. Got too used to other games where you can just be a dick to all powerful allegedly terrifying beings and they only get mad at you for a bit, but no you piss this mf off and you going two and a half hours back in yo save file about it

Since I see a lot of reactions on articles/quotes from the Loki crew and cast, here are some general reminders when it comes to stuff like this;

There are so many people working on a show/movie and everyone make decisions creating the final product we watch. Of course they do a lot of work to unite their visions and make it cohesive, but "contradictions" may still happen. We often talk about the obvious people behind a show, the actors, writers and directors, but there are also costume designers, composers and editors, etc. All of these people can have different perspectives and pull things in different directions, that just sort of comes with the nature of making such a big show.

And then it comes to producing a show itself. Productions are messy. Things get reworked on the spot because what might've worked on the page didn't work in practice, props break and need to be changed, actors can't be in for the day, etc. All of these affect the final products in chaotic ways. Sometimes unpredictable things like this may get in the way of or improve the story.

And finally articles/interviews purpose is to provide this one specific person's perspective and promote the show, or engage fans.

So take these things with a grain of salt. You don't need to base your entire view on the show on statements from cast/crew. Is the line less meaningful because it was improvised? Should we consider an episode to be less canon because it was apparently rewritten a lot from its original state?

Your fan experience will likely be healthier and more fun if you try to mainly engage with the art you have in front of you. If you read quotes from creators and feel frustrated that they are inconsistent with the art - first of all, art is subjective, it just comes with the territory. But my main point of the post is that even if a person is working on the show, it doesn't mean that their view is 100% represented within the text. You don't need to go full Death of the Author here, but you gotta remember there isn't just one author and that author's intent at work here, there is a production, with all that comes with it. And honestly? That's what makes it interesting. All of these visions coming together to create art that we get to take part in, and whatever vision we're getting as a viewer might be something completely unique.

i went to a boarding school for an entire year when i was a teen and while a lot of it was rough and draining i still, to this day 12 years later, miss the way that all of us, all 150 students, every night before they turned off the lights went to the common area to hug everyone goodnight. everyone got a goodnight hug from everyone, and some clenched you extra tight, some kissed your cheek and some whispered an 'i love you' as they hugged you. it was absolutely magical and SUCH a serotonin booster. ive never felt community as much as i did then. i hope theyre all leading magical lives filled with joy

i came across an account that had reposted my art without permission. there were two videos that featured my art, both of them having more likes than the original (one of them getting 10k likes.)

this is the account. looking at their other videos it looks like they have also reposted other people's art that i am assuming that they never asked permission for either.

honestly i dont know how to deal with these things and i dont know what to do, i just hope that the reposter sees my comments and deletes the videos
