here’s the shows that i would recommend!!!!
transformers prime: this is the show that im most familiar with, i used to watch it a lot on saturday mornings with sonic x LOL. it’s pretty influenced by the live action movies at the time but they manage to pull off the ideas the movies introduced. it has solid lore, characterization, and story telling and a very consistent tone. it has a movie (predacons rising) that takes place after the series and it’s alright. it has a sequel series called robots in disguise 2015- do NOT watch. it’s a bad show & a terrible sequel. but prime itself is super cool and has a lot of great ideas. the human characters can be hit or miss but i find 90% of them endearing.
transformers 1984: it’s a fun and usually much more light hearted series. often times it’s pretty similar to star trek but with more robot-robot violence. it’s a lot of fun seeing where ideas come from and then how they changed over the past 40 years. plus you get introduced to a WIDE cast of characters so it’s fun seeing them pop up again in different iterations and what they decide to do with them. also the 1986 movie occurs BEFORE season 3 so make sure to watch it! additionally, there are japanese sequel shows to the 1984 series (in order: headmasters, masterforce, and victory) and i personally liked them a lot. they often aren’t mentioned/referenced and I can’t in good conscious call them good but I did find them fun. since you like comic books i think you’ll probably have fun with the japanese sequels since they have some Strange plot lines in them lmao.
transformers cyberverse: this is a pretty popular one and it’s recent. it gives spotlight to a lot of G1 characters. bumblebee’s the main character for most of the series, but you get to see LOTS of other characters sometimes take the main stage, too. it’s a really fun take on the autobot-decepticon war, and it often rocks back and forth between being a fun comedy and an actual gritty war story.
transformers animated: i highly recommend this show, it has a great cast, a great overarching plot, and lots of fascinating lore. the only caveat is that the lore doesn’t match the usual transformers series, so i wouldn’t watch this one first. the only other draw back to me is while i LOVE the main human character (sari), the other human villains are pretty lack luster.
bonus recommendation:
transformers robots in disguise 2001: NOT THE 2015 ONE. don’t watch that. RID2001 is a super fun japanese transformers iteration with a group of really cool characters who have a lot of personality. teletraan is little girl. it rocks. it’s a great self contained story that doesn’t require much knowledge on the greater transformers lore
lore reoccomendation
beast wars: tbh i don’t care for the gimmick of the transformers turning into animals I like it when they’re cars BUT this series is super influential to transformers as a whole. lots of lore is introduced in this series, plus the concept of “maximals”/“predacons” are used throughout other media. it has a sequel show called beast machines- DO NOT WATCH. boring as fuck tbh.
also: the transformers show that’s currently ongoing is called earthspark. season one was really good but they changed studios after that and it definitely decreased in story quality. plus i would recommend watching the 1984 show before watching it.
as far as comics go the idw one is loved a LOT but i can’t comment on it since i haven’t read it. ive been going through the marvel transformers comics and i think they’ve been super interesting- lots of fun ideas!
sorry this was long LOL it’s definitely a fun franchise and i don’t think there’s a show you could really go wrong with (to a… Degree). anyway have fun if u dip your toes in <3
listening and learning o7. jokes aside thank you SO much i appreciate the experienced POV
#greatly enjoyed your liveblogs in recent months#sadly don’t have anywhere near that kind of time or dedication BUT i cery much appreciate the perspective as i peruse#especially the stuff about when different themes are introduced that’s my favorite thing about long franchises :)#text✨

First off. The first 2 minutes of the FC is literally Ranboo breathing (and really fucking loudly for some reason??) and walking around and saying 'what the hell' over and over and I think that's really funny. Because the breathing was not in the og stream why was it added
Anyways hey guys, remember when Ranboo said that Founder's Cut would be PRIMARILY episode 3??? Also also guys remember when they said that it would be like watching a whole new experience??? Because. Where is that. I'm 90% sure I did not hallucinate them saying that.
If Ranboo keeps making false promises they're going to end up losing their audience's trust. This is a repeated theme with them with GL now and IK that they're excited as hell for this! I would be too if I got the chance to do something similar! But he's promising too many things and then not following through.
I feel like I just watched all three episodes again with a few more editing effects, angles, and the finale scene changed up a bit. They did remove a lot of the massive filler stuff which I think helped a LOT but it's still. Just the streams
Also nearly none of the plot holes were fixed. I literally pulled up my year-old miro board titled 'Genloss Hell' with literally every detail I could process and. Nothing
I honestly don't know how it could've been improved with the material they had to work with but I did just watch all three episodes again. I don't have much to say about the ending bit since it's like 40 seconds of material and the reward video is just a promo for the vhs.
I do wish them + the teams that he hires the best but I feel this generation could have been done SO much better in so many ways. The issues have been said by everyone under the sun here so I won't go into that but I agree that the fan content PRE g1 felt better. And that's probably not a good thing. I'll begrudgingly follow the series to its end because I want to see GL improve. Hopefully it does. Either way I will be a frequent of this blog
Also the reverb effect on the voices is too fucking much I can't hear a damn thing they're saying although that's maybe an APD thing. They would benefit from captions though I think Ranboo can afford getting someone to do captions.
ok ive been sitting on this a few days because i haven't watched the founders cut but i still haven't so i might as well answer it now lol. i can't speak to the content being the same throughout but i did watch about 10 minutes somewhere in the middle at the carousel bit and it definitely felt very similar except the cuts would feel kind of random and skip forward? im glad a lot of the filler was cut though. also for real it took him a year to make this i feel like subtitles is the bare minimum

What got you into Transformers?
Man, i dont remember... ive been a fan of transformers since i was a kid, started watchin 'em around 2012 or so i think? the cartoon Transformers Prime was comin out, dubbed n all, in my country n i think it was one of those series i got to watch with my whole family. so im guessin the positive reinforcements of 1. huddled with sister, mom n dad in the evenin durin the weekend and 2. TFP is just genuinely pretty banging cartoon- are the stuff that got me hooked in the first place
(then i watched the micheal bays films n lil spotto had their first brain melt, good times good times)
what i think KEEPS me around transformers n also reeled me in much stronger this time around though is: • the characters r pretty kickass, varied ridiculously much, sometimes even under the same name just from different continuity of which there are many. youre bound to find somebody you like n can latch on at some point guaranteed • I Like My Space-Related Stories a Normal Amount -punches desk- • robots kick ass in the first place n youre tellin me these guys can be vroom vrooms too? sick ass. fucks hard. • some of the cartoons manage to have likeable human characters n when that happens there are bound to be some adorable interactions since most of the time the humans are kids. im weak like a piece of soft boiled egg for found family AND size difference in any context ever • i haven't seen G1 yet (the cartoon that started it all in the 80s) so i dont know how long has it been in play, but theres complexity to both the Autobot faction n the Decepticon one n i like me some o' that "it's complicated" • characters like Starscream, Megatron, Soundwave n Optimus Prime r simply icons (there's a whole trope named after Starscream) • The Touch by Stan Bush • idk man, unlike a lot of modern media these days just... they get to feel really genuine to me. especially Transformers Prime, Transformers Animated, some clips from G1 tell me as much, the most recent movie... it's got that "originally made in the 80s" charm to it, kinda similarly to TMNT

Cluld you try to explain transformers to me? It seems like a cool series
AH! @thewiglesswonder made an amazing powerpoint :D
but if you want it shorter:
mechanical lifeforms on a planet called cybertron are having an epic war about which faction should rule. the autobots (good guys) or the decepticons (deceptive cons).
there's been several shows and continuities about just this concept since the 80s cartoon. here's a short overview of the most popular ones:
(bear in mind tho, its been years since ive watched some of those, and with some i only watched a few episodes, so correct me if im wrong on any of these)
G1: the original cartoon. goofy and fun and absolutely insane at times. has the best memes. makes absolutely no sense most of the times.
Beast Wars: they are transforming into animals now. it is the best written show of all of transformers. has amazing voice acting. super funny and genuinely entertaining. the animation looks HORRIBLE
TFA: the best anime ive ever seen. very goofy too, but has dramatic moments, interesting ideas for established characters, has a plot (!); please watch the japanese intro, you will not regret it
TFP: CURRENTLY OBSESSED WITH IT. i LOVE it. tries to have drama and be serious, and actually succeeds. horribly annoying human characters, but watch it for the robots, you will not regret it !! (except agent fowler and june, they deserve rights) it has death, violence, all the fun things! :D and the designs and animations are legit stunning at points ;V;
Cyberverse: 10min episodes that are mostly out of context lore, that slowly builds a bigger whole - feels a lot like adventure time and steven universe in that regard. it has WINDBLADE :D :D and she's amazing ;V;

Hi, I was wondering if you have any suggestions for people who want to get into Transformers—I absolutely love your fan art of it (the way it has such a clear understanding of their very boxy structures while still having those amazingly emotional, characteristic lines of yours is just so amazing) and I listened to the G1 intro theme for like a day straight, but I don't know what the best way to get into the franchise is. So, what is the recommended Beverage2000 Way to Enjoying Transformers?
thank you im very glad you like the drawings. this is a loaded question im definitely not the expert on this but ill do my best. my friends recommended 2 me the transformers: more than meets the eye IDW comic which i read over the summer and got hooked. during that time i also watched the 1986 g1 movie which was fun and also some of da g1 show.. besides that ive been watching a little bit of transformers animated(2007) which ive been enjoying too if u like more cartoony stuff.. comics-wise the 80s UK marvel tf comics also have some good art with really nice limited color palettes in keeping w comics of the time..ive been meaning to read it just cuz of the drawings i think more people should read it(hypocrite). but yea anyways MTMTE is pretty top notch imo and to my knowledge is also the only transformers comic series with its own fanmade concept album so definitely check it out
#no i will not stop plugging starscream polycule#sorry long post#text#ask#commandercello#hope thsi helps xo#p.s. (leans into your ear whispering) i also have a drawing in the lyric/artbook that comes with the album

Road to Power Struggle Night 7 - 10/31/2021: Yuto Nakashima Returns; NJPW Strong Episode 64 - 10/30/2021; More Battle In The Valley Matches; Detonation Card Announced: Barnett Returns to NJPW; Romero Fails To Win X-Division Belt in Impact
Happy Halloween if you celebrate it. The tour continued today.
- 10/31/2021, Fukushima Big Palette
Yuto Nakashima TLD Ryohei Oiwa (10:00)
El Desperado & Yoshinobu Kanemaru [SZKG] d. Robbie Eagles [CHAOS] & Kosei Fujita (Kanemaru > Fujita, Boston Crab, 11:01)
Great O-Khan & Aaron Henare [United Empire] d. Toru Yano [CHAOS] & Tomoaki Honma (Henare > Honma, Streets Of Rage, 10:52)
SANADA & BUSHI [Los Ingobernables] d. Togi Makabe & Ryusuke Taguchi (SANADA > Taguchi, O’Connor Bridge, 8:50)
EVIL, Yujiro Takahashi, SHO & Dick Togo [Bullet Club] d. Hirooki Goto [CHAOS], Tomohiro Ishii [CHAOS], YOSHI-HASHI [CHAOS] & Master Wato (EVIL > Wato, EVIL STO, 12:35)
Hiroshi Tanahashi, Kazuchika Okada [CHAOS], Yuji Nagata & Tiger Mask IV d. KENTA, Tama Tonga, Tanga Loa & Jado [Bullet Club] (Okada > Jado, Money Clip, 14:42)
Shingo Takagi & Hiromu Takahashi [Los Ingobernables] d. Zack Sabre Jr. & DOUKI [SZKG] (Takagi > DOUKI, Reverse STF?, 12:17)
The NJPW official results called the winning move for the main event a “Back STF” so I guess that’s a reverse STF of some kind? Maybe? Honma got his one win for the year and it’s been downhill ever since. Yuto Nakashima’s return match went much better than his debut, going the full 10 minute time limit without any issues. Good to see he stuck through it and returned.
This week’s episode of NJPW Strong concluded the matches from the Autumn Attack taping sessions in Garland, TX.
Fred Rosser & Rocky Romero [CHAOS] d. JR Kratos & Danny Limelight [Team Filthy] (Rosser > Limelight, Gut Feeling, 14:40)
Lio Rush [AEW] d. Taiji Ishimori [Bullet Club] (Final Hour, 15:13)
Minoru Suzuki [SZKG] & Lance Archer [AEW] d. “Filthy” Tom Lawlor & Royce Isaacs [Team Filthy] (Suzuki > Isaacs, Gotch Style Piledriver, 11:07)
Post-main, Chris Dickinson came out and challenged Suzuki for the Philadelphia show (that has already happened). Suzuki responded by saying he spoke very little English, but also “Fuck you.” Of course, those Philly tapings should start with next week’s episode of Strong. Rush v. Ishimori seems very much worth watching.
In other NJoA news, three more matches were announced for Battle In The Valley on 11/13/2021. In a battle featuring three guys who will be out of a ROH contract in December, VLNCE UNLTD (Brody King & Chris Dickinson) will take on two of the Stray Dog Army, Bateman & Misterioso. The two most recent Impact World Champions will also be in attendance, as Josh Alexander faces Yuya Uemura, whilst Juice Robinson goes against *spits* Moose.
Meanwhile, what could be the full card for Detonation, on 11/15/2021 in Riverside, CA, has been released. First, it is now official, that Fred Rosser will challenge “Filthy” Tom Lawlor for the NJPW Strong Openweight title. However, the biggest news here is that Josh Barnett wrestles his first NJPW match since 5/3/2004, when he beat Ken Shamrock by DQ in the Tokyo Dome. Barnett did work several events for Inoki Genome Federation after that over the years, and was of course the color commentator for NJPW on AXS from 2015 - 2018, before a shoot incident between himself and Jay White at G1 Special in San Francisco on 7/7/2018 saw the beginning of the end of his career with AXS. Barnett will now be the next opponent in Alex Coughlin’s challenge series.
Full card as announced below:
Detonation (NJPW Strong Taping) - 11/15/2021, Riverside Municipal Auditorium, Riverside, CA
Alex Coughlin Challenge Series: Alex Coughlin v. Josh Barnett [FREE]
Kevin Knight & The DKC v. Jordan Clearwater & Brogan Finlay
Lio Rush [AEW] & Adrian Quest v. Bateman & Misterioso [Stray Dog Army]
Karl Fredericks, Clark Connors & Ren Narita v. Will Ospreay, Jeff Cobb & TJP [United Empire]
Gabriel Kidd v. Jonathan Gresham [ROH]
Chris Dickinson [VLNCE UNLTD] & Alex Zayne v. Jay White & Hikuleo [Bullet Club]
Tomohiro Ishii [CHAOS] v. Brody King [VLNCE UNLTD]
NJPW Strong Openweight Championship: “Filthy” Tom Lawlor [Team Filthy] (c) v. Fred Rosser
Last bit of news: Rocky Romero appeared in Impact on their TV show this past Thursday, challenging and falling to the new X Division champion Trey Miguel. This show was part of the tapings at Sam’s Town in La Vegas, NV, that started this past Sunday 10/24/2021, so expect to see Minoru Suzuki on episodes in the coming weeks as well. It does appear at this time that co-promotion between Impact and AEW is done, at least for now.
The tour continues tomorrow.
- 11/1/2021, Saitama Kumagaya Citizen Gymnasium
Yuto Nakashima v. Kosei Fujita
Robbie Eagles [CHAOS] & Ryohei Oiwa v. El Desperado & Yoshinobu Kanemaru [SZKG]
Toru Yano [CHAOS] & Togi Makabe v. Great O-Khan & Aaron Henare [United Empire]
Yuji Nagata & Tiger Mask IV v. SANADA & Hiromu Takahashi [Los Ingobernables]
Hirooki Goto [CHAOS], Tomohiro Ishii [CHAOS], YOSHI-HASHI [CHAOS] & Ryusuke Taguchi v. EVIL, Yujiro Takahashi, SHO & Dick Togo [Bullet Club]
Hiroshi Tanahashi, Kazuchika Okada [CHAOS], Tomoaki Honma & Master Wato v. KENTA, Tama Tonga, Tanga Loa & Jado [Bullet Club]
Shingo Takagi & BUSHI [Los Ingobernables] v. Zack Sabre Jr. & DOUKI [SZKG]

SO HERE IS A MESSAGE VERY BAD WRITTEN ABOUT COMMENTS THAT IVE BEEN READING.
Look people I've been waiting a gooooooooooood whhiiiile for nice oplita content. Something that doesn't involve her just as a romantic imterest for op.
Elita here Is a COMMANDER a leader, the right hand femme of the autobots. That she has to deal with the huge himbo prime and his choices that even if she doubt she Will follow because she's learning from him and she's teaching to him. Because she staid, because she choose cybertron over being by his side. Not a kiss not a touch or sweet phrase. And still from His interactions you know they got hurt, they don't know if they're gonna see each other again! But they take their reaponsabilities to assure even the smallest chance of hope to end the war and have the live worth fighting for
I've been watching soooo many post about the forced hetero pair of oplita and you know what
WE CAN ENJOY ANY PAIR BECAUSE WE ARE THE FANDOM.
I can ENJOY shipping the canon oplita and i Will say It I👏 ENJOY 👏every 👏MINUTE👏 of👏 them👏 together!👏 I ENJOY starting shipping impactor and ratchet and also i ENJOY watching some gooooddddddd wavewave and a little tease of chromia x ironhide content for my soul.
You say oplita is forced?! Lmfao!!!!! This Is the Best oplita content since g1 period!
Having Elita and op in the same series for More than a fragging episode and not being a love drama.
P.s. i assure you that Elita could crush op and he Will actually thank her. That's the oplita in Siege.

help... i watched g1 as a kid (and many times since) and ive only just discovered the wider fanbase but i dont know where to start catching up- does anyone have a masterpost of tf media ? doesnt have to be chronological, i just need to know the scope
Welcome :-00! I feel like I’ve seen a master post somewhere but I can’t seem to find it again. I’ll be happy to just type sum out. [This is a pretty long post]
COMICS:
1. The IDW (2009) continuity is so far one of the post popular g1 sects of the fan base (on tumblr/twitter at least)- I recommend the series More Than Meets The Eye/Lost Light!
There are other IDW tf comics that are worth a look at as well. Heres a link for a masterpost about these: HERE and HERE
2. IDW (2019??? I think) continuity is the reboot of the original. It is pretty new rn.
(There is also dreamwave but they went bankrupt and is kinda obscure now)
TV SHOWS: Here’s a list of shows (excluding g1) that are primarily watched..
1. Transformers Prime: Tfp is one of the better shows that hasbro had made for tf, and it’s very popular for pretty good reasons i’d say lmao. Maybe. But overall i think its worth the watch and aimed for older audiences. It’s pretty beginner friendly, especially for people who aren't familiar with as many characters and came from the michael bay movies.
1a. The Aligned Continuity: This consists of the war for cybertron games and Transformers Prime. There are the more liddle children aspect shows like Fuckinn uhhh rescue bots and robots in disguise. I’m probably forgetting sum
2. Transformers Animated: Tfa was my favorite childhood show and I still keep it in high ratings. It’s one of the better 2D animated shows that aired, and i also recommend it cuz it’s just fun. Tho it is very different in concept/style, and a lot of g1 kids weren't used to it.
3. Cyberverse: This ones the more recent editions and as far as I watched, it traced back to g1 stuff, mixed with idw, movie, tfa inspiration. Its overall a fun kids show and pretty cute
4. War For Cybertron (Netflix): I’m super unfamiliar with this. All I know is that its very g1, but I also gotten mixed reviews and sighs of disappointment. U can check if u wanna.
MOVIES: Here’s a list of movies that has been made (excluding the g1)
1. Michael Bay Movies: The bayverse movies. I’m sure ur already familiar with it since its literally been the dude bro posterboy of this entire franchise for the past few years.
2. Bumblebee Movie (Travis Knight Movie): If you havent watched this yet, I highly recommend! This live action movies not connected to bayverse and is very g1 inspired. The designed are very familar and overall a very wholesome film.
---------------
These are obviously not all of what makes up tf media but these are the most prominent and important to know about. If ur confused, u can check out the tfwiki for more info

im really into tfp rn but looking into transformers fandom stuff past that is kinda overwhelming!! ive got a lot of bots to learn about! do you know a good place to start getting into transformers past tfp? also what’s the comic with the trans lesbian bots bc that’s the most iconic shit ever
WELL, you have (sorta) come to the right place!!!! i totally understand how looking into things past tfp can be Too Much, so i’ll impart all my knowledge onto you (fair warning, though: this isn’t unbiased, nor have i watched most of this content! i’m by no means a transformers expert in any way, but i’ll do my best lmao):
transformers animated (tfa): my personal #1 recommendation!!! it’s got a great animation style, fun characters, a good number of episodes (42 i think) and it’s just? so charming?? UGH i really love this show and can’t gush about it enough. the one thing i’ll warn you about, though, is that it takes a very different approach to the characters than other tf series have; optimus is more of a rookie/underdog, they aren’t living “in disguise” at all, i can’t think of more rn but it’s pretty different, character-wise. so if you’re looking for content that follows the typical transformers way of doing things, this ain’t it lmao. however!!! i really really do recommend it, it’s super sweet and fun and gets pretty dark later on - plus, tfa has my favorite incarnation of megatron, bar absolutely none. also it’s the series bulkhead was created for so that’s cool!!!
transformers g1: the original series! it’s absolutely nonsensical in the way a lot of 80s cartoons made to sell toys were. i think they quite literally did crack in the studio. anyways i’ve only seen the movie + a handful of episodes and they were ok enough, i don’t think i’d really recommend it but i know a lot of people love the series/have lots of nostalgia for it, so check it out of it appeals to you!
transformers, robots in disguise: the apparent sequel to tfp! i’ve not watched any of it, but honestly, i haven’t heard anything good about it. if you REALLY dig the characters from tfp, then bumblebee is the main character, and i know optimus, ratchet, and i think bulkhead all show up briefly, plus some decepticons, but other than that… yeah idk. i know none of the humans from tfp show up which is a fucking bummer. tbh i don’t really recommend it, but give it a shot if you want to!
the bayverse movies: don’t watch these! they’re very bad! the effects are pretty good and it’s cool to see big robots fight each other i guess but michael bay is a piece of shit and hates women and minorities and makes it VERY clear so like, you can watch them if you want, but at what cost
bumblebee (2019): absolutely watch this movie! it’s so goddamn good! it’s basically a reboot of the bayverse (thank FUCK) and it’s just..so good…. it’s the movie that got me and LJ back into transformers last winter ugh i LOVE it. the humans are good, the action is SO goddamn epic (you can actually tell what’s going on, unlike the bayverse fight scenes where it looked like two dumpsters fucking and then exploding), and unlike the bayverse movies, it’s clear the people who made this movie actually watched g1 (or at least did research on it) and actually put care into it and im just?? it’s so fun and good??? i recommend it 100%
transformers cyberverse: this is the most recent series (it’s still coming out rn i believe) and it’s uhh.it sure is a cartoon i guess? unfortunately i’ve only watched the first six orso episodes, and they didn’t really appeal to me (i got the feeling itwas aimed towards younger kids), but i’ve also heard it gets more fucked uplater on? like i saw a video where a character str8 up dissolved into dust, itwas, jarring. so, up to u buddy
EDIT: I WAS WRONG CYBERVERSE FUCKING SLAPS SEASON 3 IS AMAZING THE WHOLE SHOW IS SO GOOD DO IT DO IT WATCH IT
transformers: more than meets the eye / lost light: AND NOW, THE MOMENTYOU’VE BEEN WAITING FOR… the most iconic comic i 10000% recommend with all my heart, one ofthe best pieces of media i’ve ever consumed in my LIFE, get ready for gay robots inspace. basically the big war between autobots and decepticons is over (no prizefor guessing who won) and like, things are pretty fucked up! which tends tohappen when your entire species fights a war for 4 million years. anyways it’sabout rodimus taking a bunch of bots on a ship (the lost light) and going offin search of ~the knights of cybertron~, and they get into a bunch of hyjinksalong the way, and it’s fun and silly and will fucking destroy your heart. alsoliterally everyone is gay! it’s so epic, there’s like multiple romances going on and also homophobia literally Does Not Exist cause being gay is the norm, god how awesome is that?? basically it’sfucking epic as hell and super gay and there ARE canonically trans lesbians who are married toeach other and i FUCKING LOVE THEM, oh god they are so good… basically if youonly have like three days left to live, read this comic and do nothing else.send another ask if u want some more in-depth info + a link to all the stuff toread before/during the series and also to the series itself! i’ll be more thanhappy to provide!!
that’s all the stuff i can think of for now... there’s probably more that i’ve missed lmao, ah well. if u want more info then shoot me another ask, that’d be super cool!!! ALSO ALSO: if anyone else is reading this and wants to add on with their own recommendations and such, then feel free!!!! that would be incredibly rad
#ask#me#Anonymous#i'm sorry i would go into more depth for mtmte but i have an awful headache from work and i gotta sleep :(#but anyways!! hmu again for more info if you want to!!!#(and don't be afraid to come off anon! i know it can be nerve wracking but i promise ur all good)#transformers#tfa#tf mtmte#ruth speaks#long post

I just wanted to say I don't know jack shit about transformers and here u are making me wanna watch it
OWO!!!!!!!!!!If you do go ahead to watch it here is a rundown of their general quality and my opinion:Transformers G1: a shitpost. Nothing makes sense half the time, and yet it all makes PERFECT SENSE you just have to get into it and accept the nutty plots that happen. Starscream acts like a goddamn child. Shockwave is lonely and sad. Soundwave has seventy billion children and pets and he is so cool. Megatron and Optimus will never get along and its amazingTransformers Beast Wars: ive heard a lot of good things about this one! They introduced a lot of excellent worldbuilding to the mythos and its got a really good story with excellent voice actors. Its made by Mainframe Entertainment who are the same guys who made ReBoot and thats a pretty great resume if you ask meTransformers Armada: my personal first tf series. Starscream’s character arc in this one is the most interesting, and shit hits the fan in episode 36. Ive been rewatching it lately by half-paying-attention to it while drawing. Its pretty rad imo but then again, it is made for children ages 4-9 so its very simplistic. Transformers Animated: THE GEM THE SUPERIOR VERSION THE BESTEST ONE THE ONE I WILL LOVE FOR EVER AND EVER FROM THE BOTTOM OF MY HEART ITS MY FAVORITE WATCH IT WATCH IT WATCH IT WATransformers Prime: Also heard a lot of good things about this one! Tends to take itself too seriously for my taste and the characters and the humor arent really my bag but its often considered the best cartoon series for all ages so give it a shot!

B Block – Round Seven
Toru Yano vs. Tama Tonga
Tama was in full make up, because Yano, in case you weren’t aware, is terrified of him. Tama snuck up behind Yano on the ramp then popped up from under the ring and poor Yano was beside himself. Tama taped Yano’s wrist to the guardrail, but Yano used scissors to cut himself free and get back into the ring at 19. “Break!” said Yano, and Tama mimicked him, so Yano battered him with a turnbuckle pad. He threatened to use the ring bell hammer, then as the referee took it from him, he went low on Tama and rolled him up for the three-count. Have to say, I quite enjoyed that. ¯\_(ツ)_/¯
We’re shown Masahiro Chono on commentary. Looks like he enjoyed Yano’s antics too.
Satoshi Kojima (w/ Hiroyoshi Tenzan) vs. SANADA
Kojima controlled the opening lock ups, then both men dodged the other’s offence for a stand off and both hit Dragon Screws. Sanada was able to apply the Paradise Lock and dropkick Kojima before getting the better of an elbow exchange, but then he hit machine gun chops in the corner, so naturally Kojima replied with the real thing and planted him with a DDT. Sanada landed his springboard dropkick then, but Kojima survived strikes to hit the Koji Cutter and a suplex for two. The elbow pad came off to signal the lariat, but Sanada ducked and landed a big suplex and the TKO for a near-fall, then he cinched in the Dragon Sleeper. Kojima’s arm dropped twice, at which point Sanada opted for the moonsault, but it missed! He landed on his feet after another attempt only to receive a lariat to the back of his head. Kojima almost got caught with another Dragon Sleeper, but was about to counter to the Emerald Flowsion! Two-count only. Lariat from Kojima – Sanada kicked out at one! Running lariat! One, two, three.
Kojima wins! Yes! His first points of the tournament. I liked the detail of Sanada choosing to try and finish with the moonsault, as he has a couple of times, but Kojima had him scouted. Good match here, particularly the hot closing stretch, though it took a few minutes for them to get into a groove. ***1/4
Michael Elgin vs. Minoru Suzuki (w/ Taichi & El Desperado)
Elgin opted to flatten Desperado first, then he elbowed Suzuki on the outside, but was caught by the rope-hung armbar coming back in. He might’ve stemmed the tide, but he got distracted by Desperado, and Suzuki took advantage by targeting Elgin’s arm, stabbing it with a chair and letting his minions do the rest. Suzuki then returned to finish the job, battering Elgin with the chair, and smashing his arm into the ringpost. Back in, a one-armed Elgin managed a powerslam and the slingshot splash, and a pair of rolling elbows earned two. Front-and-back clotheslines and more elbows connected, but Suzuki yanked him down into a Fujiwara armbar until Elgin reached the ropes, where the Suzuki-gun boys interjected once again. Suzuki rolled into the armbar, but Elgin managed to lift him and dump him to the mat, then he avoided the sleeper and hit the Falcon Arrow for two. Buckle bomb, ref bumped, and Elgin took care of Taichi and El Desperado. The attempted powerbomb was reversed to a sleeper, but Elgin nailed a spinning back chop and followed with the Elgin Bomb! One, two, three.
Good stuff, and nice to see Elgin working a different kind of match (though who knows how much of a choice he had). ***1/4
Juice Robinson vs. Kenny Omega
Juice scored a trio of armdrags, earning a pair of dismissive slaps from Omega, so he landed a couple of jabs and monkey flipped Omega before clotheslining him to the floor. After dropping him over the guardrail, Juice rammed Omega into the turnbuckles and scored a diving crossbody for two, but Omega turned the tide by suplexing him over the top-rope to the floor! Juice’s injured left leg was wrapped around the ringpost, and Omega applied a ringpost figure-four, then dumped him onto the timekeeper’s table with a shinbreaker! Back in, Omega continued his distinctly Canadian legwork, applying a heel hook until Juice made the ropes. A reverse DDT and chops got Juice back into it, and a full nelson slam connected for two. Omega went back to the leg to set up the Finlay Roll, but the follow-up moonsault hit the knees.
Cannonball from Juice, ‘rana from Omega, lariat from Juice! The falling powerbomb dumped Omega for a two-count, but the Pulp Friction was countered to a Snapdragon suplex. The cross-legged Ushigoroshi set up the V-Trigger, but Juice hit back with crescent kick, only to receive a jumping knee to the face soon after. Omega flipped out of a German, Juice smacked him with the haymaker, and the Pulp Friction was attempted once more. The One-Winged Angel counter didn’t work, but the reverse frankensteiner connected for a near-fall! The V-Trigger smashed Juice and Omega lifted him for the One-Winged Angel, but Juice countered to a small package – one, two, three!
That is one hell of an upset. Wow. This was another good match, though lacking in crowd heat for the most part. The ending, on the other hand, was another matter – a huge reaction to the finish and the noise rumbled on for several minutes. I enjoyed the nods to Bret Hart and the overall story of the match, and feel like it could’ve been something special had it taken place in front of a more sympathetic crowd (Korakuen Hall, for instance). Still, the shock result is plenty memorable! ***1/2
Kazuchika Okada vs. EVIL
They traded shoulder blocks early on, then Okada nailed a big boot, seated dropkick and neckbreaker for two, and maintained control with a straitjacket chinlock. Evil powered out and sent Okada to the floor, where he whipped him into the guardrail and engaged in chair-on-chair-on-head violence (name suggestions, please?). Back in, a surfboard curb stomp earned two and Evil applied a chinlock of his own, but the senton missed, giving Okada the opening to hit his series of back elbows, the DDT and a leaping uppercut for two. The reverse neckbreaker was countered, however, and Evil capitalised with a sidewalk slam for a two-count, but Okada scored a flapjack to put both men down.
Okada landed the reverse neckbreaker out of the corner and the diving elbow connected. Rainmaker signalled, but easily blocked, with Evil hitting the side kick, but Okada (eventually) dropkicked him down to the floor from the top-rope. Outside, Okada looked for the jumping crossbody over the guardrail, but Evil threw a chair right at his head! Ouch. He dumped a bunch of chairs on the floor out in the crowd, then planted Okada onto the pile with Darkness Falls! In a distinctly un-evil moment, Evil brought Okada back into the ring with him, then hit a fisherman buster for two. Darkness Falls – two-count only. He signalled the STO, from which Okada broke free, then attempted a super fisherman buster only to get pushed down and nailed with a shotgun dropkick! Tombstone blocked, suplex from Evil blocked, The Dropkick from Okada! Uppercuts landed, but Evil scored a counter lariat and dumped Okada with a half-and-half suplex! Lariat – one, two, no! STO countered into the Rainmaker! Okada picked him up and hit a second Rainmaker, then a definitive third was ducked and Evil floored Okada with a headbutt. STO… countered to a German suplex! Rainmaker… countered to the STO!!! One, two, three!
Holy shit! I mean, it was a possibility after Omega lost, but I didn’t actually expect it to happen. Really good match too. A couple of rough spots here and there, but it flowed well and built to an excellent finish. Great stuff. ****
Post-match promo from Evil(!) and we’re out.
B Block standings after Round Seven
Okada – 12
EVIL – 10
Omega – 10
SANADA – 8
Suzuki – 8
Elgin – 6
Yano – 6
Robinson – 4
Tonga – 4
Kojima – 2
Final thoughts: B Block returns to form in a big way! Everything is evil was enjoyable and the booking was surprising in the best way. Kojima’s win was a great moment, while the wins snagged by Juice and Evil give us a glimpse into the future. Just a breeze of a show to watch. I’m a happy Welshman.
I’m back tomorrow. See you then.
Fourteen down, five to go.

Been Seeing how people review TF5...No Spoilers
So Iv looks at rottintomato reviews and seeing how it's 18% rotten and like 66% would see? I'm not sure how you read rottemtomato but seeing 4/10 and reading people's thoughts and I'm getting pretty peeved about it. Okay people, give it a break. Yes I have seen G1, watched the 80s movie, saw every cartoon ever made about Transformers and you people have got to understand BAYVERSE IS ITS OWN UNIVERSE! Every Universe is different, every character usually stays the same but with changes but if you looking for something that's was like the 80s show just watch the damn 80s series again for crying out loud. I understand that Michael Bay does stuff different. He's changed names of some of the Autobots, added new characters, different actors each movie but that's just how he is and he's known for explosions. Which I'm sure you can see from all these movies. He's taken Transformers, transforming robot from the planet Cybertron and made a movie about it. Sure he might not know all the facts and change story lines but it's it's own Universe! He can do that! Spoilers Below? Talking about how much a character got screen time... This movie; Transformers The Last Knight was freaking unbelievable. This was better then all the other movies and couldn't have been a stand alone movie and probably should have been the first movie for everything to make since. Mark Warburg was amazing as always. Cogman and Jerrod Carmichael stole the show! This movie was funnier then the others, I was in suspense threw the whole movie, heart pounding, constant action. It was fanominal! Bumblebee had his spotlight with more screen time then any of them. Bots where always there, unlike the other movies. I was on the edge of my seat, I loved the History they put into this movie. Knew secrete abilities, I mean there was just so much amazing stuff packed into this movie I needed to see more! If you watched the Bayverse movies and you don't like them fine. DONT WATCH THEM AND RUIN IT FOR THE ONES WHO LOVE THESE MOVIES! I hate the negativity. The nit picking, I not picked but there where only two mistakes and that's it. The actors where good and well played. There was a couple questions unanswered but whatever. This is a must see movie and for me WHO IS GOING INTO THE MOVIE BUSINESS, This movie was right up there with the new Wonder Women movie. It's only above Wonder Women for points on that I like Transformers in general more 😂 NO NEGATIVITY will be on this blog. You don't like the movie? Fine, go complain somewhere else. Somewhere far, far away. Go see this Movie! It's worth every penny! Love you all~ MC
