Thank you! I really liked the idea of them being POC, I was really on a debate for Susan's eyes because I didn't want to put blue eyes to show power. But at the end I decided to leave them to reflect more like her mutation because of the cosmic radiation (reed deforms into slime with fatigue, Johnny's fire it's really mix with his emotions and Ben changed to the Thing), to look even between the four of them.

Susan really misses her dark eyes.

Also for a little headcanon, the Storms are afro-puertorican but his father had a big Nono with letting them speak spanish, only his aunt Jewel taught him a little later in life. In my AU América Chávez first multiversal guardian was Johnny (from another universe) for a long Time (he was the One that gave her her flamed painted jacket) so in the mean time América taught him spanish.

Susan learned it in a volunteering of health care in Mexico (and a little bit of mayan too *wink wink*)

I think this one has spoilers in some way so feel free to answer:

I still feel attack about the orange blankie not being there anymore. Why!? WHYYYYYYYYY!? ( Like idk why i imagine you writting and thinking "how can i hurt that girl from the screenshots even more?") I know it wasn't like that, but it's just that Ratbat wont't get a momment with it and it makes me saddd!

I had to go double check when the last mention of the orange blanket was, and yeah, bit of a spoiler. I do enjoy in a weird way how attached you (and probably other readers as well) got to the orange blanket :')

The thought had occurred to me to keep the blanket for Ratbat. But I didn't think Soundwave would at the time. Ratbat was hardly a thought in his mind, and given how few mementos Wingthing was able to gather in his short lifetime, it felt right that Soundwave would want his (as far as he was concerned at the time) last creation to be wrapped in its comfort. Writing-wise, I ended up framing it as the end of an era. Not every creation liked this blanket in particular (Laser hated it) but it was offered to every creation as a comfort. I think, in retrospect, it kind of represented the domestic aspects of their lives that were a balm to the ways war harmed them all. It was necessary to have since, even if a creation didn't want it, each of them wouldn't leave life unscathed by the war. It got buried with the last creation, the one who outright called the war idiotic, because the next creation will never need it. Ratbat may be impacted by the war, but his neutrality gives him a distance to it none of his siblings ever had. Hence the end of a phase; no creation after Wingthing needs that kind of comfort because none of them will ever know war the way the older creations did.

Looking very deep into a running gag I put in the background of LP, but I do enjoy seeing cool metaphors I accidentally made :D

Yay! Questions I have happy answers for!

They’re all canon in my continuity and all three will be featured in Logical Proposals pretty soon.

I’m using the Skyfire spelling instead of Jetfire and using Sky’s g1 background as a basis for him. I have a couple of fics with him in it, actually! Two one shots and parts of Commonality and Misunderstandings. (Funny tidbit: his name is Skyfire but the Autobots think it’s Jetfire due to a mistranslation, so technically both names are being used)

As for Hot Rod and Ultra Magnus, I have plans! Roddy is a several vorns younger Rumble and Frenzy and was adopted by Ratchet and Wheeljack as an older teen. So, he comes of age with Optimus as basically an uncle. A while after he enlists, he climbs rank and ends up on the battlefield alongside Ultra Magnus (who’s a trusted lieutenant to Prime). They get on each others nerves since Roddy is impulsive and Magnus thrives in order, but they come to common grounds after Roddy proves himself competent in battle. They eventually get closer and start a romantic partnership that’s committed but casual. No reason to rush to define things, they’re just vibing. I’m looking to g1 again here with Roddy’s arc on Earth then heading down a MTMTE route with him post-war. Same with Magnus/Minimus, though the Magnus armor will have always been Min’s in my continuity.

The reason they haven’t appeared in LP, aside from the mention of Skyfire’s body of scientific work, is because they aren’t yet on Soundwave’s radar. Skyfire is on ice, Roddy has been a young soldier with no commanding role, and Ultra Magnus is not that high ranking. They’ll come into play more at the end of the Earth arc and after the war ends. ;)
