Alessia Russo + reporter!gf, where Alessia is nonstop flirting with Reader on national television when you're trying to interview her
LIVE TO ALL — alessia russo
Tumblr media Tumblr media
masterlist
you were a sports journalist for itv, travelling up and down the country as well as across the world each week to cover matches as well as try and get some of the players thoughts and opinions on the game.
today was the england lionesses vs sweden at home, at a sold out wembley. the game being tense but the girls pulling out a win by one goal and of course it being scored by non other than the alessia russo who just happened to be on your radar to interview.
normally it would take some convincing from some players to get them to do a quick post match interview, most players after a win wanting to celebrate and after a loss was when it was even harder to get players to interview as they just generally weren’t in the mood, understandably.
however luckily you wouldn’t have to do much convincing to get england’s star girl for an interview as she just so happened to also be your girlfriend. so one little bat of the eyelashes and a flash of the smile and the blonde would be right over.
so as your team handed her a mic as she walked over from the pitch hugging you tight as you sent her a loving smile trying your best to remain professional but the girl just looked so gorgeous even after running around a pitch for ninety minutes, her hair slicked back a few flyaways had came loose above her as well as her cheeks being slightly flushed pink probably from the amount of running she’d done.
“so alessia another sold out wembley for the lionesses, does the feeling ever change walking out and seeing that many people in the stadium?” you began the interview as alessia nodded along with what you were saying, her bottom lip inbetween her teeth as you watched as her eyes roamed your face as she held her eye contact with you instead of the camera like she was supposed to.
there was a slight pause between your question and the blonde starting her answer, “oh um it definitely helps to keep us motivated whilst we are playing- as we love seeing our fans pack out stadiums and creating as much noise as possible!”
“speaking of motivation, what helps to keep you fired up especially when your playing top teams like sweden?” you asked as you seen alessia giggle to herself, you being thankful for the fact that the camera can’t see the look your throwing alessia right now.
“well away from football there’s definitely someone who does that for me-” the blonde making direct eye contact with you as a smirk crept onto her face. you knew exactly what she was insinuating on and while the your relationship wasn’t exactly out there it wasn’t a big secret either fans definitely had their suspicions and alessia right now was definitely adding fuel to that fire.
she carried on, you sending the blonde another stern look that told her to behave, “but the staff at england as well as the girls we all do our part to ensure that’s we can all play to the best of our ability to ensure we get the result that we want as a team and as a nation” she smiled innocently as she finished awaiting your next question.
you began to explain the importance of the goal that alessia scored to start off the lionesses euro qualifying campaign while alessia well she was just staring at you, totally zoned out as she licked her lips. her eyes scanning your outfit as she imagined maybe what it would look like on the floor of your shared bedroom…
“and finally how does it feel to finally get your first goal at wembley especially the one that sealed the win for you guys” you finished with a quick smile, slightly kicking the blonde which wasn’t able to be seen by the camera which shook the blonde from her daydream.
“oh- um, wait i- sorry what was the question?” alessia flushed red with embarrassment as you were the one now with a smirk, knowing by her face she hadn’t been listening and also having a suspicion of why she hadn’t been but nevertheless repeating the question again for her.
“yeah, it’s always a good feeling to score at wembley makes it that little bit special but anything to help the team out”
“well thank you alessia and well done for tonight!” you applauded with a smile as alessia nodded, “thank you babe” alessia said so causally, you quickly spinning around mouth wide open as you eyes widened.
the interview already been finished as your team off-mic’d you both. alessia with a smirk which was widening on her face, you knew she had done that on purpose.
“i love you?” she whispered, as she looked at your less than pleased look on your face.
“your on thin ice miss russo!” you warned narrowing your eyes at the blonde as she slung her arm around your shoulders guiding you both down the tunnel as you knew she was rolling her eyes at your stern tone.
“hey! it’s not my fault the person who was interviewing me happened to be my really sexy, beautiful, gorgeous girlfriend!”

Molly, please please please write the scenario of Anthony seeing Fran in a Dorset adaptation, please!!!
Imagine Anthony just gaping at the screen and his sister’s right there. In his nemesis’ adaptation!
In hindsight, Anthony should have been suspicious. He really should have been. And yet… he wasn’t. He went to Benedict’s house, he enjoyed the dinner that Benedict’s girlfriend Sophie made for them, and he enjoyed the way Kate sat tucked into his side. And he should have been suspicious when Ben curiously, started flicking through Channels before landing on iTV right as the opening credits to TF Dickhead’s new adaptation started.
“Oh Goodie.” Benedict chuckled, “Found something.”
Anthony groaned, “No! No! We’re not watching this! It’s an iTV series for one! Not even BBC or… Netflix would be more respectable in this day and age. Amazon Prime Video!”
“Hey! Downton Abbey was an iTV series.”
Anthony rolled his eyes at his fiancée, “You literally already know how this ends.”
“Maybe they changed something.”
“Ben, you don’t even like his books!” Anthony changed tactics.
“Oh I love TF Dorset.” Ben said smugly, “I especially love the way he makes you furious.”
So Anthony is forced to sit there and watch it. He hates the way the character that’s clearly a stand in for him fumbles around. And there she is. Francesca, playing a run away.
“No!” Anthony gasped, sitting bolt upright, nearly knocking Kate to the ground. “Frankie?!”
“Oh, here we go.” Ben grinned, “Every stage of grief is happening to him all at once. Look at him.”
“I need to talk to her,” Anthony scrambled for his phone. “Frankie?! Oh you know exactly why I’m calling! Et Tu Frankie?! Oh this is a betrayal! It is! I offered you a role in my FILM! It’s Oscar nominated!”

incoming rant: the robotification of women
teri baaton mein aisa uljha jiya (2024) is among the latest movies in the genre of science fiction romance. it reminded me of an old itv show bahu hamari rajnikant (2016) , while i wasn't an avid watcher of the latter, i knew of it's existence. why did it remind of that particular sitcom? well, mainly because of the comedy. but it also reminded me of similar themes in english movies like ex machina (2015), wifelike (2022), archive (2020) and her (2013), which is surely a bit far fetched considering that in her, the ai never had a body. only a voice.
here, i think it's impertinent to also acknowledge male robots in indian cinema, like chitti from robot/enthiran (2010) and g.one from ra.one (2011) even though he wasn't an actual robot? i don't know if he classifies as one. so let's say, non-human, programming-based male entity (nhpbme). similar to samantha in her, a non-human, programming-based female entity (nhpbfe).
so yes, while male robots and nhpbme do exist in the sci-fi romance genre, it's the comparatively larger robotification of women that feeds the male gaze, and the patriarchy by an extention— which is ultimately problematic.
coming to the movie that i actually want to discuss, kriti sanon's sifra, in tbmauj, is the perfect lover, perfect bahu. why? she knows everything aaru (shahid kapoor) likes and wants. she has no chik-chik or tantrums like other girls. she can make cuisines from all around the world, can access everything on the internet quickly. she has perfect skin, perfect hair. probably doesn't age too. she is the dream girl of a typical man. she doesn't have her own opinions or problems, she serves him and him alone. no family of hers to care about, she can care about his family and their needs. the female gendering here acts like objectification.
the worst part of this movie was that it didn't do anything? since it was a comedy, it didn't delve deeper into the nuances of increasing technological reliance that humans have. i think it was probably meant as a warning— when sifra malfunctions and starts executing tasks that were deleted. but even at that, it fails because urmila's (dimple kapadia) company (so intelligently named) e-robots/robotex (something stupid like that), ends up launching her along with few other robots. only adds a dialogue which meant that you need to handle these robots responsibly. then, what was the point of all the testing they tried to do? placing her in different environments like india, when they don't really end up rethinking the whole idea or putting in more safety features? of course, there's no deeper meaning here. indian comedies don't really have subtext.
but it's perpetuates the same old concept of subservient women. rule-followers and caregivers. an image etched in stone. why do women ask– what do men want? men want this, an ideal version. have always wanted. fuelled by the unrealistic p*rn depictions. do they ever think what women want? aaru so casually tells off his friend who has a wife to look at how pathetic his own life is. he defends sifra's un-emotional response to a situation by attacking his friend's relationship asking if human women are any better?
it reminded me of wifelike (2022) where female robots are curated according to a person's need, a replication of their dead spouse. to love them, to serve them, to help them come out of grief. it's so funny to me how in tbmauj, sifra is shown to retain her feelings, getting jealous when aaru interacts with another woman despite getting reprogrammed; compared to how in wifelike, the robotic version of the human it was based on, always ended up leaving the husband because the human version never loved him.
isn't it interesting how female robots instantly get sexualised, and are depicted doing things that one would never ask their girlfriend or wife to do? these robots happily perform roles that are stereotypically feminine, wife-like. they're invented to put aside their feelings (if they have them) to take care of their human partners'. sifra cooks perfect food, emphasized by how many time aaru fired his maid for not cooking things the way he likes it. she probably doesn't have mood swings from periods because she's a robot. she doesn't eat, doesn't get out of shape. and most importantly, she doesn't age (cue: i'll get old but your lovers stay my age). as if the expectations from women aren't enough, that they're required to age gracefully, or best option— not age at all.
if you still don't get it, let me remind you how siri and alexa also end up on the same side of gender spectrum— female.
so the message is, guys, don't give up on your dream girl! you'll surely find a robot that satisfies all your needs! 🙄
men want perfect women, but women can't be robots. let's stop perpetuating the same image and setting unrealistic standards. real humans have real problems, deal with them.

Prince Harry was quiet and sounded nervous as he stated his name “Prince Harry” and swore an oath on the bible in the witness box
I’ve never heard a barrister have to explain to the court the protocol on how to address a witness… “Your Royal Highness” in the first instance, then “Prince Harry”
Prince Harry says decision to “reluctantly” step back from Royal role was in large part “due to the constant intrusion, inciting of hatred & harassment by the tabloid press into every aspect of our private lives, which had a devastating impact on our mental health and wellbeing”
Tumblr media
Prince Harry writes in his witness statement “How much more blood will stain their typing fingers before someone can put a stop to this madness.” He explains the comment was directed more broadly at the tabloid press rather than specific Mirror Group Newspaper journalists.
Prince Harry’s witness statement is 55 pages long. He writes… “What I complain of here is illegal or unlawful, and that is something which I feel incredibly strongly about.”
I genuinely feel that in every relationship that I’ve ever had – be that with friends, girlfriends, with family or with the army, there’s always been a third party involved, namely the tabloid press.”
It created a huge amount of paranoia in my relationships. I would become immediately suspicious of anyone that was named in a story about me I felt that I couldn’t trust anybody, which was an awful feeling for me especially at such a young age.”
I feel somewhat relieved to know that my paranoia towards my friends and family had, in fact, been misplaced, although feel sad for how much it impacted my adolescence.”
In his witness statement #PrinceHarry makes several references to his late mother #PrincessDiana “There are even eight private investigator payments made in relation to my mother, which I have only learnt of since bringing my claim. This makes me feel physically sick.”
The Duke of Sussex singles out Piers Morgan for criticism
The thought of Piers Morgan and his band of journalists earwigging into my mother’s private and sensitive messages (in the same way as they have me)…
and then having given her a “nightmare time” three months prior to her death in Paris, makes me feel physically sick and even more determined to hold those responsible, including Mr Morgan, accountable for their vile and entirely unjustified behaviour.”
“As a consequence of me bringing my Mirror Group claim, both myself and my wife have been subjected to a barrage of horrific personal attacks and intimidation from Piers Morgan, who was the Editor of the Daily Mirror between 1995 and 2004
presumably in retaliation and in the hope that I will back down, before being able to hold him properly accountable for his unlawful activity towards both me and my mother during his editorship.
The problem is that, over the last 15 to 20 years, there are now incredibly powerful media companies who masquerade as journalists and who have, quite literally, hijacked journalistic privileges for their own personal gain and agenda, It’s an unbelievably dangerous place.”
I am bringing this claim, not because I hate the tabloid press or even necessarily a section of it, but in order to properly hold the people who have hijacked those privileges, which come with being a member of the press, to account for their actions.”
I feel there’s a responsibility to expose this criminal activity in the name of public interest."
Prince Harry attempts to lighten to mood by quipping “you’ve got me doing a work-out” as the defence barrister repeatedly asks him to pull out the huge bundles of documents involved in this complicated case.
Prince Harry has been asked to raise his voice in court. The barrister for Mirror Group Newspapers, Andrew Green KC, jokes “not in anger I hope!”

Gavin Rossdale opens up about split from Gwen Stefani
Gavin Rossdale has opened up about he and his ex-wife Gwen Stefani's attempts to save their marriage before they decided to divorce.
The Bush frontman appeared on ITV's panel show Loose Women where he revealed that they had "so much counselling" in the years leading up to their split.
He said: "We had so much counselling. So much counselling, I could be a counsellor! I tried, I tried hard, but that's the way it goes. But when you look at it, in a weird way, there are no accidents.
"Life works out how it should and I made sure I did everything I could so that if I was sat here two years on, I know I tried everything I could as opposed to being steadfast or arrogant or assuming I didn't need help or we didn't need help. I kind of embraced the help."

The couple were married for 13 years and have three children together, Kingston, 11, Zuma, 9, and Apollo, 3.  They split in 2015 and finalised their divorce in April 2016.
No Doubt star Stefani is now dating country singer Blake Shelton, her fellow mentor on The Voice.
While Shelton has met their children, Rossdale's new girlfriend, German model Sophia Thomalla, has not met his family yet in person.

Shaun Evans is an unusually energetic and curious man. The actor is best known for his starring role in the peerless ITV Inspector Morse prequel series Endeavour, in which he starred for more than a decade. He also directed a number of episodes, and in his spare time indulged a passion for photography (his black-and-white stills of what he calls “people, places and things” recently featured in an exhibition of actors’ work). Evans also seizes the day a little earlier than most: 5am is often the reveille hour in Evans’s London abode. And after finishing Endeavour at the end of 2022 — his character drove off into the sunset after cracking his final case, his Jaguar passing another driven by a CGI-recreated John Thaw — he filled the gap between jobs by travelling to Italy to learn the language.
“I love the culture,” he tells me with a handshake and a broad grin when we meet in the green room of the Orange Tree Theatre in west London, where he is nearing the end of a run of David Edgar’s well-received play Here in America, about the film director Elia Kazan (played by Evans) and the playwright Arthur Miller. “After you finish a job like Endeavour your mind is still buzzing and I wanted to do something completely unconnected to work,” he says.
Over the course of an hour, this 44-year-old son of a taxi driver father and hospital worker mother asks me nearly as many questions as I ask him — about my job, the nature of interviewing and whether or not this one has gone well. He certainly seems happy and not just because, as a left-leaning man, he is delighted about the change of government (“I feel like the grown-ups have entered the room”). He also seems not entirely annoyed to be sitting in front of a Dictaphone, which is a firstfor him: we met a few times when he was playing the Oxford detective, and even though his character was beloved by millions he always seemed to look on an hour with a journalist in the manner of an 18th-century French aristocrat surveying a guillotine scaffold.
Evans’s first starring role since Endeavour could not be more different: he is playing the real-life serial killer John Sweeney in ITV’s Until I Kill You, which is based on a book by Sweeney’s former girlfriend Delia Balmer who (miraculously) got away. Did Evans consciously choose the least Endeavour-like role he could imagine?
“It doesn’t really work that way,” he says in his lilting Liverpudlian accent. “You can’t really say, ‘I’m only going to do that next’ or ‘I’m really going to do this’ as an actor — you just hope that there will be another job coming. I love working but I did want to do something I’ve not done before and felt a challenge.”
Until I Kill You depicts scenes of extreme violence: Sweeney held Balmer (played by Anna Maxwell Martin) hostage, tied to a bed for four days and later attacked her with an axe. Did Evans worry that this could join the long list of dramas that cynically play on female fears? He nods.
“I completely agree and that was a lot of my hesitation going into it too, and why I was on the fence for a while,” he says. But he trusted the instincts of the producers, World Productions, with whom he had worked on the BBC submarine-set thriller Vigil with Suranne Jones. He was keen that Sweeney wasn’t represented as a psychopath from the beginning and there is something unsettling in the scenes in which he first enters Balmer’s life — a knight in shining armour ready to rescue the awkward, slightly friendless woman.
“I like the act of acting and I equally like the act of directing,” Evans says
Was Evans affected by playing such an extreme character? “To a degree, but only in the same way that any other job does. Directing is different because you’ve got to overthink it. You’ve got to shape it. A equals B and if you haven’t got that shot, then it doesn’t work. With acting, you try not to think about it too much and then just go and do it. The more I intellectualise and label something, the more inhibited I am.”
Evans bought Balmer’s book, Living with a Serial Killer, but decided not to read it. He didn’t meet the real Delia Balmer, even though she visited the set, and only met Maxwell Martin late into the shoot. Since a visit to John Sweeney is off the cards, Evans says he conjured the character from his imagination — as a man who didn’t set out to kill but who was ruled by a vicious anger
The real Sweeney made many unpleasant drawings during his crime spree, including some of his violent fantasies, which Evans kept photocopies of in his trailer — partly because there were scenes that showed Sweeney drawing and he wanted to get the technique right. “I didn’t look at them every time. But I had them as a sort of presence to see exactly what was going on in his mind, and also how that was going to be represented. Pretty dark material.”
Later he adds more pointedly, “I got paid really good money for it, as actors can do. Who cares how hard it was?”
I tell him he has many fans and they probably do care, not least because of the affection people have for him and Endeavour. He smiles, reminding me that the show ended on a high and pointing out that he and co-stars such as Roger Allam, James Bradshaw and Anton Lesser all still see each other and come to each other’s plays.
I tell him I know a lot of people with a crush on him. When he strays briefly from his usual policy of not answering personal questions and confirms that he does have a girlfriend (who doesn’t work in the acting or TV business), I josh that they will be sorry to hear it. He laughs, joking that they would be put off by his Scouse accent: “As soon as you start talking they think, ‘It mustn’t be him, sitting there at the back with his hoodie on.’”
Evans went to a state school, St Edward’s College, on the outskirts of Liverpool before training at the Guildhall School of Music and Drama in London. His first break was as the French teacher John Paul Keating in the Channel 4 comedy-drama Teachers in 2002. Now, post Endeavour, he feels he has achieved “the perfect level of fame”.
“If people come and say hello they’re always super complimentary. And I really appreciate it. I’m grateful for it, but [fame] is not a level where it in any way hinders my life. You just want to sit on the Tube and watch people without feeling like it’s you who’s being watched. You want to see situations unfold. I think if I couldn’t live that life, I’d resent it. I think I’d go and do something else.”
He hopes to produce a “big body of decent work” of his photography. Does he have any other unfulfilled ambitions?
“I like the act of acting and I equally like the act of directing, and that’s enough for me. I’ve got no desire to say, ‘I’ve got to make a feature,’ and then I’m a proper director? No. I’ve been doing it for ten years, I already am. That’s why I feel so fortunate: I can spin lots of plates and if one thing isn’t going I can pick up on something else — and I like that, just as a storyteller. Even if it’s just still photography, it’s still silent storytelling.”

ITV picked up on her 'go glasto' story yesterday. Something along the line of Alex Turners girlfriend confirming they will play at Glasto etc. So not James Kerrs story or Daveys ,hers. So the media is looking and she has done enough to promote herself and have to disagree, think she knew this would happen. Especially with the added exposure with them maybe cancelling. This is her moment. Wait for the side stage antics. But I just hope is voice really is up to it. The sound on telly for the Foos was terrible.
Yeah, I wondered where that sentence came from in the article.
I meant with her not knowing this would come specifically her paying for a Daily Fail article. Of course she knew there would be attention on the band. After all they are third time headliners. And that’s why I disliked her being the first to post about them going. She definitely wanted to brag and let everyone know.
I mean she has to give it her all today. Unlike Alexa she can’t prance around all weekend for the paps since they go to Glasgow on Sunday. It’s now or never. I don’t even wanna see her ugly outfit. I hope at least her coochie is covered. 😂
