Stuck at my mom's house until the 27th, can't finish the comic I was working on until then :( here's a rough Cowboy!pinup sketch of Bumblebee and some Breakbee + Piston angst:
#I'll delete this later i just want to talk about it :3#not featured: WHY Piston is pulling a [REDACTED] on their sire#rubbing my hands together like a fly ooooooh do i have some angst in the works for you guys i just don't have a perspective tool rl#Okay i had the idea of a cute Bumblebee and Breakdown in cowboy hats with a bonus piston but then i had an Idea#yes that but then follow up later when its time to pick a side piston does a cowboy accent very sadly like they have to pretend its not real#the REASON is s3 bee and break fighting in the dome and bee lost on his back with Break towering above him with a [REDACTED] pointed at him#and Piston is beating on the glass WAILING for them to stop#but the view point is slightly behind breaks so he's HUGE and bee is small and Piston is even smaller in the foreground#they stop fighting but Piston can not forgive their sire for that Piston took after Breaks they were thick as thieves but no no#they saw the look in his eye the fear in bee and he only stopped bc shockwave called him off yes he was hesitating to pull and shaking#like a leaf knowing he was being used like a rabid dog to take down the autobot he has to pretend to hate but Piston will always wonder#if he'd do it and they can't decide and it eats them alive but that's their carrier and forgiveness is not cheap#bumblebee does what he can to talk Piston down its just business he didn't really mean it they ve had centuries of faking it but Piston#oh sweet Piston childish days are over their spark has been hardened#they arent on a path of violence or vengeance but when breaks seeks them out “come with me we can be a real family on cybertron ”#piston says “we already were”#and later later we land on the So i guess that's it....i guess so.... you best get on out of here then#AAAAAAAAAAHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHH#does piston ever forgive? no but they understand things kinda get better but it's different now#i think they're scared that they'll end up like breaks bc they're so much like him they looked up to him and loved him so much#and now they know they have the capacity to do something like that and be used like that and they're scared#just so so so SO scared and it bothers them breaks was forced into it and they just want to SCREAM#they just want to run away with their parents away from the war where no one can bother them and live quietly#transformers#maccadam#transformers oc#tf piston#worry not i shall draw these once I'm home#but i have a laundry list of other things i want to draw first

hey is youtube working like absolute dogshit lately for anyone else? im talking things like... suddenly unloading everything that's already buffered, skipping a few seconds ahead in the video out of the blue so it feels like you blacked out for a few seconds and its really jarring, choosing a quality for the video to load in instead of automatic and it just not loading at all in the quality you select (in my case 480p) and just all around working badly
I do have really bad internet where I live sure, but I've been living with it for months now and it genuinely has not been THIS bad, I used to be able to watch vids in 720 pretty consistently and now thats damn near impossible and even in vastly lower qualities like in 480p or god forbid 240p the video still stutters massively
#i also dont know if its a firefox issue or something... because I am able to play videogames online with people with this internet#i play sea of thieves with my buddies with no issues#but god fucking forbid i load a video in 480p without having to reload the tab 5 times and scrolling the video back every 4 seconds#because it stutters and i miss whole phrases of people talking#thunderclap

Just finished The Familiar and it was very fun! Definitely captured my imagination and I adore Leigh Bardugo’s historical and modern fantasies. She does such a great job of evoking those themes of injustice and the grey morality of being locked in systems and corrupt power structures. I’ll probably talk more on this later but if you’re a fan of her work (especially the Alex Stern series) I’d give it a read.
#the familiar#leigh bardugo#it was just fun and fantastical and I wanted to learn more about the world#the romance was sweet and pretty believable although I wish the book was longer so that it could have felt more natural in its weight#the whole ‘we are like and understand each other’ makes up for the difference though#I liked how Luzia and Santangel were their own characters in their own right and not just clones of other LB characters#that made it very fun#I especially loved Luzia particular brand of morbid and cynical humor#I said I’d say all this later and now I’m in the tags whoops#I do wonder if I’m missing some allusions though specifically the orange groove references#loved the varieties of greed and ambition and the similar vibe I got from kamet in thick as thieves regarding the honor and code of the#peasant class#the sort of forgiveness for being screwed over as wouldn’t you do the same#or the refusal to owe favors and the like#hualit was super interesting as a character#I loved her I hated her I think both are good options#I liked how LB played with the pov and the omniscient narrator connecting the threads and the sort of without time without boundaries world#of stories the world seemed to inhabit#myth.txt#book talk

I love when character’s perception of another also crumbles#Ah Radar sweet naïve starry eyes Radar#Hawk always has a joke a comment a remark. he laughs in the face of the war#even if he’s scared he doesn’t let it get to the steadiness of his hands. nothing could rattle him#and that makes it all easier to keep going to not be scared yourself#but thats a lot to put on someone’s shoulders to be fearless at all times#so its a cold shock when he snaps after you try to uphold him to your idealised view of him. showing hes just as scared as you are#maybe even more so#this whole episode was so thich as thieves brother’s first fight#God… GOD!!!!#Fallen idol….. hawkeye…. radar…..#literally head in hands#its all so human…. putting someone on a pedestal helps no one….#all because Radar has no rizz…#the way everyone went to yell at Hawk after he snapped at Radar was classic#Mulcahy really put his whole christussy into kicking that heater#Potter and Margret’s whole how dare you yell at your little brother like that dont you know he looks up to you?!’ shtick was great#urgh…#they’re brothers your honor#theyre so important to me#mash

My and my uncle were watching a movie (and after we were gonna play mario party YIPPEE) and right when a dramatic scene was happening (character dying) my sibling + my cousin interrupt and kinda kept making comments for the rest of the movie (THANK GOD WE WERE ALMOST AT THE END. They were saying stuff like calling a character “Dumbledore” and at some point my cousin sang Chrissy Wake Up???😭��)
Anyways it ends finally (it was good ig :> (i literally yelled over some symbolizm i noticed in it /vpos)) and I go to my room where my nintendo is charging! Oh why isnt it on- oh my god its on 5%. For the whole 2 hours of the movie. It barely charged.
So no mario party either hm
Tho i’ll prolly be able to play it later? I’m tryna be positive rn and I think its working actually :)
