Astrology Observations #2

After a long hiatus i'm back with a few observations I've made in the time I was gone. Hope you like it:)

🥀 Neptune in the 5th house may frequently get into a unhealthy one sided love if they don't learn to stop ignoring the red flags in the person their interested in. The presence of Neptune in this house makes you delusional towards your interest and blurs the line between love and obsession. It's the fact that yall chase after people who are obviously not good for you in the first place. 2019-2020-2021 : The bridge

I see 2020 as the bridge between 2019 and 2021 - most of the new moon full moon we are in process of right now - we went through those degrees of activations in 2019. Like this new moon is happening close to the degree of full moon in Sept 2019. So if anything was completed, ended, declared, announced in Sept 2019, you will get a new perspective on it now and you will make a different choice. 2020 changed the structure of our existence, the rules we follow of our life that help us decide the forward course. So when presented with similar choices, you would choose differently now.

2022 Next Cycle

Neptune would go retrograde at this degree of new moon on 25th June 2021 so some of the idealistic quality of this new beginning will come for discoveries after that - there will be things we would be missing right now. Neptune retrogrades opens those blind spots to us so we have that coming and we should be ready for that. Some of the demystifying idealism is coming up in June - we would be a bit rosy in March but thats part of the charm of Pisces - live a little dream and creativity is killed if its bombarded with reality checks. But in financial matters know that we may not have the full picture.

Jupiter the planet of expansion is moving into Pisces fully after 28th Dec and it will meet Neptune at yes at this spot on 12th April 2022 which would be a outer planet meet colouring global events of 2022. This is a once in 166 years of divine cycle when optimism hits up our dreams and inflated expectations are very much at root of this cycle. We are seeding that cycle right now with this new moon so a bit of inflated expectations are in. But so are prospects for creative genius, compassion, inspiration, positive thinking, divinity. In 1856 when this cycle was last seen in Pisces - Sigmund Freud was born; Frank Baum the author of The Wonderful Wizard of Oz was born ...Robert Peary who claimed discovery of North Pole was born... I can go on... Nikolas Tesla was born - creative genius underlines this cycle which is about to begin in 2022.

But there would also be delusional leaders, bad intention false hopes and inflation which would come with this. Seeds of that also is being planted now in inflated expectations and idealism. This cycle has deep implications for change in religion and spirituality. Also on weather patterns especially linked to floods, hurricanes - the Last Island Hurricane in US which destroyed Last Island was part of last cycle as was a massive church explosion. This was also first year when the Third Party in US called “Know nothing American Party” fought elections. Seeds of American civil war were grown in this cycle as well back in 1856.

End of March - Mars Conjunct North Node

Mars will be in Gemini for 6 months next year when it would be making a hard aspect to both Jupiter and Neptune. Infact Mars would in conjunction with North Node end of March on 26th March. Words would be said. Last time Mars in Gemini Conjunct North Node was in Jan 2002 - Axis of Evil speech. So time after 21st March when Mars comes close to Rahu or north node and it goes out of bound, it would give us immense energy to get over our fears, its fearless strength which helps us go beyond our bounds but it also makes us go beyond our bounds in words - we can get a bit impulsive reckless and hurtful - be careful of that around 26th March and we would see that pan out in public sphere. World’s most famous whistle blower - Edward Snowden was born with this aspect so you know what I am talking about - we will hear about it in news. But I do expect another Axis of Evil speech from US on Russia with this aspect possibly. Words have power and force and they can be used for intellect at work or imbalance in world.

"Now if you look at that bright spot over there, that's actually Venus. Right now it's next to the Pisces constellation, but I'm guessing you'd probably be more familiar with Orion over there..."

Kokichi listened quietly as Momota blabbered on about the various constellations, trying to figure out how he managed to let himself be dragged into this winter stargazing trip. It was cold. Really cold. Even bundled up, he could barely feel his hands.

He could leave anytime he wanted. Momota couldn't stop him - but at the same time, his dumb excited face was the exact reason Kokichi couldn't bring himself to leave. So, he endured February's cold so he wouldn't be pouted at. How had he sunk so low?

"... oh, and that's Cancer right there." His fingers traced along a collection of stars. "You're a Cancer, right?"

"Gemini," he corrected.

Momota's eyebrows furrowed in suspicion. "You sure?"

"Just because I'm on the cusp doesn't make me any less of one. Charasmatic, intelligent, two-faced liar to the bone, Momota-chan."

"... And how do I know you're not lyin' 'bout that? 'Sides, I'm not even a huge astrology nerd and I know that Gemini being liars is just a stereotype."

He hummed. "Just because it's a stereotype doesn't mean it's automatically wrong. You can't say I'm not a liar."

Momota predictably had no rebuttal. He was silent for a few long minutes, letting the world around them fill the silence with its ambient noise. "Well, whatever," he quietly said, "Gemini's visible right now too, right over there next to Cancer." His fingers dropped once he traced it for Kokichi to see, clearly not as enthusiastic as he'd been earlier. Kokichi hated that he felt somewhat bad for ruining the mood.

So, to counter that rising bad feeling, he restarted the conversation to distract him. "So, why'd you ask me to come instead of Saihara-chan or Harukawa-chan? Surely you'd have much more fun stargazing with your sidekicks."

"Uh, I guess..." He slowly sat up, averting his gaze. "But I guess there was something I was wanting to talk to you about..."

"Oh?" Kokichi rose as well, interest sparking in his chest.

"Yeah, uh, it's just..." Momota swallowed nervously. His voice dropped to a whisper. "It's just, well, how did you know? That, that you were gay."

He blinked. "Wow, is Momota-chan seriously asking me for advice on being gay?"

He clenched his fists. "Listen, it's, it's just, I know you won't lie to me."

"We just talked about this-"

"I know that! I know you lie about shit all the fucking time, but you'll be almost overly blunt if you wanna make a point." He finally met Kokichi's eyes with intense determination burning in his own. "So I want you to be straight with me and-"

"Well, I can't be straight with you," he interrupted, "But I guess if Momota-chan's going to beg, it can't be helped." Kokichi was so going to hold this over his head for the rest of eternity. "I guess I just started seeing boys and thinking, wow, I'd like to kiss them, or get in their pants, maybe live a fun domestic life together with a house and two kids, and I never really saw girls who made me feel like that."

"I get that, but- but how do you know when you're in love with a guy?!" He looked desperate for an answer, so much that Kokichi hesitated in responding.

"Well, they excite me, I enjoy their company more than-" He stopped. "Okay, seriously, why are you asking me?"

The words tumbled from Momota's lips so fast, it was hard to tell if he was even thinking before he spoke. "Because I think I might be in love with you."

Kokichi froze. "That's not a funny joke, Momota-chan."

"I- It's- It's not-" He sputtered in response, face bright red. It was almost painfully obvious that he hadn't meant to just say that, which made Kokichi's gut twist painfully as the implication of that being true collided with the logical side of his brain.

"It's not what? Not a joke? Not a joke that someone like you would fall in love with someone like me? When I'm always getting on your nerves? When most of the time you hate me? You must truly be an idiot if any part of our friendship - if even that - translates to love in your head."

"You... You don't think we're friends?" Momota looked taken aback. "And hate? I don't hate you. You frustrate me, sure, you rile me up more than anyone else, but I'd never call that hatred."

"What would you call it then?"

He clenched his fists. "I don't know. A feeling of rivalry? But more than just that. You've always been someone that's always rearing to challenge me, to knock me down and watch me climb back up. And I enjoy that. A lot."

His words touched too close to home for comfort. He felt himself shake, not from the cold, but from the panic building inside him. "That's not love. If anything, that sounds like masochism, which is Saihara-chan's thing so-"

"Then what is love?!" Momota pulled himself to his feet. "Passion, understanding, chemistry, everyone always says this stuff but when I describe it with my own feelings, I'm wrong?!"

"You think you understand me?" He narrowed in on the weak spot to tear it to shreds. "I think that's an even bigger joke than thinking you're in love with me."

Momota hesitated, but quickly pushed on. "Maybe I don't. But I want to. Fuck, I want to understand you so badly it hurts sometimes."

"If it hurts, then you should stop chasing after it. Accepting we'll never see eye to eye and that you'll never understand will help it go away faster." He hopped to his feet, brushing bits of grass off his pants.

"You must be pretty stupid yourself if you think I'll give up just because you said never."

"Excuse me?"

"Maybe it's not love. But I want to get to know the real you. The you hiding behind lies, pushing everyone away out of fear."

"You're delusional." Despite his cold words, for the first time that night Kokichi felt warm.

Flying off the Handle

The 2017 Cardinal Sign Mess

A refresher, first, on the “Cardinal T-Square/Grand Cross.” The t-square portion is comprised of outer planets Jupiter/Libra opposite Uranus-Eris/Aries, all square Pluto/Capricorn.

Astrologer Bil Tierney, in his excellent book Dynamics of Aspect Analysis, wrote extensively about different aspect patterns. “The opposition involved (in a t-square),” he said, “suggests the need to develop greater objectivity and considerate awareness of the rights and needs of others.” This is fairly easily discernible in our current Jupiter/Libra opposite Uranus-Eris/Aries situation: Jupiter here can represent an out-of-touch elite, while Uranus and Eris are the angry hordes.

Tierney continues, “The apex planet that squares this opposition can intensify such matters and often indicates the nature of frustrations, blockages, habitual insecurities, and defensive reactions originating within the individual himself that instigates such relationship awareness.” We have an apex Pluto/Capricorn to contend with. According to Tierney, “In a Cardinal T-Square, apex Pluto indicates an individual who is an intensely self-driven individualist, but often a loner who doesn’t integrate with others easily…. This person can have a chip-on-the-shoulder attitude that makes cooperation with others almost impossible at times. His natural take-over inclinations make it psychologically difficult for him to willingly share power, or relinquish it to another without at least feeling an acute sense of resentment or even open contempt.”

And doesn’t that perfectly describe the powers that be, in the US anyway.

T-squares in Cardinal signs, Tierney tells us, are “normally the most invigorating and extroverted of them all…. Life for those with this invigorating configuration may seem like one circumstantial crisis after another.” (No kidding.) We have these experiences because we’re supposed to learn “greater self-discipline, inner timing, outer patience, and a general sense of thoroughness and organization.” He cautions, “It is especially important if Mars, Jupiter, or Uranus is involved in this T-Square … that the individual learns as early in his life as possible to observe restraint and see the value of respecting his personal limitations.”

Since late January, Vesta retrograde in Cancer has joined in on the fun, turning the t-square into a grand cross. Vesta being a Lady Asteroid, and therefore slightly more “personal” in expression than those outer planets, I’ve noticed that as 2017 unfolds, stress levels have indeed gotten more “personal” for everyone. “Because of emotional hypersensitivity, alienation can occur through withdrawal in order to gain protection from the real or imagined harshness of others,” explains Demetra George (in Asteroid Goddesses). All we want to do is hide beneath our bed covers.

Tierney describes Cardinal grand crosses as having an “energetic, vigorous, on-the-go nature” which stir us “into taking quick but sometimes poorly planned action.” Furthermore, “the two oppositions denote (that) others will present him with the challenge of learning to be more self-controlled, reliable, and conscientious.”

These oppositions (for us, Jupiter to Uranus-Eris, Vesta to Pluto) “warn that cooperation and consideration of others are critical determinants of ultimate success in fulfilling personal objectives. He has to first learn to willingly share himself in the activities of others and cultivate sociability before he can expect to have others assist him with his immediate goals. By learning to harness his tremendous energy reserves and by applying more commonsense in his actions, the individual can avoid the usual pitfalls of this Grand Square (which are impetuousity, reckless moves, bad timing, over-assertion, and head-on conflicts with others. Accident-proneness may also be indicated due to thoughtless impulsiveness … especially if Mars and/or Uranus compose part of the configuration).”

I want to add that the Cardinal signs, by far, are the most manipulative. They want what they want, and if Aries taking direct action doesn’t achieve their goals, they start conniving. Also: astrologer Isabel Hickey, taught that “squares and oppositions in Cardinal signs are faults and unlearned lessons of the previous life.” My own sneaking suspicion is that our 2017 t-square/grand cross shows the consequences of mishandling 2016’s delusional, underhanded, and deceptive Jupiter/Virgo - Saturn/Sagittarius - Neptune/Pisces t-square.

None of those outer planets are particularly known for their speed, and (consequently) we have at least the t-square to cope with through the summer. Vesta retrograde isn’t exactly swift, either, and she’ll “fill in” that t-square’s missing leg through early April. The energy can be described as “hanging over our heads” like the sword of Damocles; we need transits from the faster-moving planets to trigger/activate the action.

Since it’s transits we need, it’s transits we’re about to get. Mars (anger, aggression, impatience) currently struts through Aries, and will begin to make conjunctions, squares, or oppositions to all the players in this mess. Even better, transiting Sun (ego) and transiting Mercury (mouth), travelling through Pisces, will make semisquares and sesquiquadrates to everything. Finally, transiting Moon will get involved on February 22 and 26, and March 1.

Transiting Mars is the most frightening, of course, as its hair-trigger temper and overwhelming rage are emphasized. Moving through its own sign, its natural inclination to fly off the handle at the slightest provocation, real or imagined, is enabled. Steven Forrest (in The Changing Sky) describes a “backfiring” Mars transit: “Frozen by fear, awareness turns to self-destruction or to pointless attacks on targets which are both extraneous and relatively defenseless.” In simpler terms, it bullies.

We can compare an awry Mars with a physician attempting to cure the symptom rather than the disease, too. There’s usually some underlying “thing” which infuriates us, when Mars triggers/is triggered - and that “thing” is too scary for us to face. Take your natal Mars position into consideration “to recognize the true target of our rage or frustrated assertiveness,” in Forrest’s words. “Questions like these guide us through Martial times, but only if we have the courage to ask them. Otherwise, ego either implodes into depression and a sense of ‘being a victim,’ or it explodes into ignorant, arrogant, cowardly destructiveness.”

Compared with Mars, the semisquares and sesquiquads made by the Sun (ego, pride, selfishness) and Mercury (mouthiness) aren’t remotely as frightening or ominous. What they show, I think, are the occasions which would light the very short Martian fuse. They both are transiting Pisces during this time, and the “unskillful” Piscean traits of indecision, vagueness, delusion, indolence, gullibility, and escapism will manifest in our self-expression (Sun) and in the way we think and speak (Mercury).

As astrologers Jessica Murray and Bil Herbst in particular suggest, this crap has been a long time coming, and won’t vanish overnight. We’re in for a lot of hard work. April will be another difficult month, as the faster-moving Sun, Mercury, and Venus zip through the sign, triggering the Cardinal Grand Cross. Late June and early July, and mid-August through early October (when Jupiter enters Scorpio) are also times of particular volatility.

What can we, as individuals, do? We can look at our charts and determine how we can best contribute to solving the problem, and then go DO IT. And not as individuals - we need to ally ourselves with like-minded people and work together.

The following list of nasty aspects looks so daunting that I almost didn’t include it. But, forewarned is forearmed, right? I’ll be addressing them individually as they happen, in the daily forecasts.

Pearls and Pitfalls – Jupiter, Neptune, and the art of compromise

The sometimes-uneasy connection between Jupiter and Neptune continues to flavour summer 2017. Jupiter travels through airy Libra, a dynamic sign that rules partnerships, diplomacy, and co-operation. Neptune is powerfully placed in its home of watery Pisces, a sign that can be compassionate, intuitive, and creative.

Of course, all the signs and planets have a dark side too – Libra can be indecisive, manipulative, and cold. Pisces can also be cold, chaotic, and adept at misleading others. We’ve got a link between intellectual air and emotional water. Somehow, between now and the end of July, these two must find a way to work together by compromising and making the adjustments signified by their aspect, the quincunx.

In some ways Jupiter and Neptune are very sympathetic to one another. They both rule Pisces, both are concerned with ideals, and both have a spiritual or religious domain too. In Greek and Roman myth, they were brothers – Jupiter (Zeus) as king of the gods, ruling the realms of the sky while Neptune (Poseidon) ruled the oceans.

This summer’s challenging trick is to learn how to blend emotion, intuition, and compassion (Neptune in Pisces) with reason, strategy, and useful, even lucky, alliances (Jupiter in Libra). Bear in mind that Jupiter expands and inflates, while Neptune dissolves boundaries of any and every kind – into those salty oceans they go.

A string of planetary contacts with the Sun, Mercury, Venus and Mars shine a light on Jupiter and Neptune’s alchemical laboratory throughout June. I suspect we’ll be hearing about many peculiar experiments and mysterious experiences during June, and July.

Everyone with planets and points at 13-14 degrees of any sign can find their natal chart is energised in subtle ways by this odd couple.

Some luminous pearls to look for are:

*Spiritual development

*Idealistic visions for a better future

*Ways to care for those who are sick, or desperately in need

*Learning how to sympathise with, and understand, others –interesting new friendships can begin now

*Creative discoveries

*Love and imagination

*Powerful phase for intuitive and psychic development

Some pitfalls to watch out for include:

*Confusion about others’ beliefs or values – fake news, social media rumours, and conspiracy theories multiply at this time…..

*Huge, over-inflated optimism leading to disastrous investments, gambles, or decisions

*Deception and scandals in health care practices, religious institutions, prisons, large organisations, educational establishments, travel organisations…Neptune really loves a juicy scandal

*Disappointing or delusional unions and partnerships in love, friendship, business and politics – who’s fooling who?

*Issues and upsets caused by addiction, drugs both legal and illegal, and drugs or alcohol legislation, including medical marijuana.

Out in the world

Jupiter and Neptune are activating many national horoscopes.

The USA’s founding horoscope, for instance, has its Sun (leadership and leaders) at 13 degrees of self-protective Cancer, and Saturn (government, law, justice) at 14 degrees of Libra. Neptune flows with the Cancer Sun – potentially a glamorous and idealistic, if confusing, vibe. Jupiter aligns with the US Saturn, expanding ideas and discussions around justice, diplomacy, and the law.

All the positive potential of Jupiter and Neptune is available to channel, if adjustments and compromises are made. And, of course, all the pitfalls have the potential to manifest before our very eyes as well. It looks like yet another very tense and eventful month in the USA – adjustments, checks and balances will be needed, but will they be made?

It’s intriguing, I think, that Russian President Vladimir Putin’s Sun in Libra is at 13 degrees (7th October 1952). Assuming his date of birth is correct, he’ll have Jupiter boosting his confidence this summer, and Neptune swirling around signifying some hidden or concealed thoughts and motivations. Religious, spiritual, or drugs and alcohol related concerns could preoccupy him from time to time as well.

When warrior Mars appears in homeland security Cancer, great care should be taken, for the temptation to over-react and make mistakes could be strong. Mars is vitalising this link between expansive Jupiter and slippery Neptune between the Solstice (21st) and the end of June. It’s a tricky, dynamic phase when individuals, organisations, and nations would benefit from exercising calm caution.

There’s a darker intensity looming at the end of June and beginning of July. At this time Mercury and Mars go on to challenge Pluto – so striving for balance before this dramatic moment would be wise. We can always hope.

And for anyone who’s curious about the fixed stars, as I am, Jupiter is currently aligned with Algorab, in the agitated and tricksterish constellation of Corvus, the Crow. The crow or raven is a strange, magical bird with links to many myths around the world. It’s another symbolic warning to tread lightly and be cautious and wary in all our dealings around the end of June and beginning of July.

Friday 2nd June:

Flaming June

Our astrological atmosphere is complex for sure. Yet it offers some fabulous glowing fires during the whole of June. This comes courtesy of the positive and potentially uplifting flow between Saturn in Sagittarius and Uranus in Aries, boosted by the portal that is represented by the Moon’s nodes in Leo. It can be a pivotal time for space travel and research, science in general, and legal or political reforms.

All three fire signs working together can warm our hearts, our imaginations, and our ability to bring all manner of creative, inventive projects into practical reality. At its best, this trine says ‘express yourself’. Edgy new ways meet tried-and-tested old ways, and attract others who want to join us in exploring sparky, innovative projects.

Keep an open mind, and we can make changes that have a solid base in reality. Practical magic indeed.

A Little Change in the Weather

Mars, Mercury and Venus change signs over the next two days. We can look forward to a shift in our social, romantic, and day-to-day personal lives. Hopefully, this offers some sort of counter-balance to what’s going on in the world around us.

Venus is gorgeous, indulgent, fertile and artistic in her home sign of earthy Taurus. Venus is finally released from her long stay in impulsive Aries (since February), where the gentler and sexier side of Venus tends to have a hard time. Venus in Taurus smiles, stretches out on the grass, and eats another ice cream.

Mercury, meanwhile, is uber-chatty in his home sign of gregarious, versatile Gemini. Mars in Cancer is more self-protective, emotional and less direct – moving sideways towards goals. Yet it’s more dynamic than Mars in Gemini, and tends to get things done slowly but surely.

Overall, this line-up looks good for our five senses, for romance, and taking real pleasure in food and nature. Mercury in Gemini until 21st June signals lively times, and is good for socialising, networking, and publicity ventures.

The combination of Mars in maternal Cancer and Venus in foodie Taurus sends a gentle symbolic message about the essential role of food and nurturing in life too. Jupiter turns direct at 13 degrees of Libra today too.

Jupiter now has a clear run through Libra until 10th October, when the gas giant enters Scorpio and a very different, and more intense, Jupiter phase begins.

Jupiter’s work in the area of relationships, diplomacy, and balance becomes clearer as the weeks pass. Partnership and open enemy issues we’d shelved or sidelined since March – or even last winter - will catch our attention in August when Jupiter squares Pluto. More opportunities to deal with our connections crop up as Jupiter sextiles Saturn, and opposes disruptive Uranus for the last time this year, in September.

Friday 16th June:

Neptune turns retrograde at 14 degrees Pisces today.

Neptune turns direct again on 22nd November. Mostly, I don’t think we really notice Neptune retrograde. When we do realise we’re walking through fog, we may glimpse a phase of slippery, seductive confusion.

Wednesday 21st June:

It’s the Summer Solstice here in the Northern hemisphere, and Winter Solstice down in the South.

The Sun enters Cancer the Crab, a dynamic Cardinal water sign, on the longest day of the year in the Northern hemisphere.

Saturn in its own house (10th house of career) is an excellent placement to have considering you may have great discipline and structure regarding work matters. Like you're probably the example employee or you lead or you're well recognized. Something along those lin s in terms of your career life.

Your Venus in 4th house Scorpio likes to get deep and personal with those who are ✨chosen✨ but also looking at your Pisces 8th house you really are capable of deep, intense bonds but your 7th house Aquarius keeps you aloof & detached during your interactions with others.

Heyyyy!! So I was really inspired by this one fellow blogger that i have mutuals with on my tumblr feed and decided to start writing some rants!😆 Take this easy and have fun! Lemme know what you guys think down below:)

1. Leo Moon/Venus/Rising. You do not need others validation to feel happy. When people tell you to back off, back off. Repeat after me until that becomes real. I'm a Leo Rising/Venus so I truly know this best. Some of us really see red flag as a sign to chase lol

2. Are you really bestfriends with a Scorpio Venus if they never told you all of their sketchy schemes? Oh you didn't know that they created a fake Tinder account and spent 2 hours swiping left on the app at 1AM in the morning to see if they will find their s/o account? Even if their s/o is sound asleep next to them? You didn't know they do that? They probably not your bestfriend then😬 (Mix this with Virgo/Libra energy and you get a demon)

3. A big hug then a loving slap to all of my Gemini Sun with Leo Venus out there! Some of y'all are simply crazy possessive but refuse to show it somehow? Why do you feel so much but show so little? Being in love will not make you guys distracted. Show the world how big your heart is. My Leo Venus will really appreciate this thank you.

4. Sagittarius moon people... Are you guys like... Okay? Literally any sun with sagittarius moon are the worst overthinkers I've met in my life, worst temper too. I'm not sure why some people believe Sag moon slacks off and ignore the problem. In my experience I have not met any Sagittarius moon thats not either 1. confrontational 2. extreme anger issues 3. extreme identity crisis 4. truly feel bad when they did someone dirty and can owe up to their wrongs 5. STUDIOUS ( My mom has this and her sun is in Gemini and despite her age, she's currently learning 2 new languages and has traveled to most countries in the world, I'm serious)
