here's a pro-tip. if the entire (or near-entire) population of a particular ethnicity in an area empties out and moves somewhere else, and the descendents of those people say "we were expelled/we fled and we're refugees," and someone else says "no, they left voluntarily," you should believe the descendants. also this is ethnic cleansing.
#'is this about the nakba or the expulsion of jews from swana countries?'#its about both.#'but if i beleive one group that means the other group must be lying'#no it doesn't and you're dumb.#loon.txt

I've not seen a single person (other than my friend who has ties to Ukraine) talk about the fact Russia fucking killed 51 Ukrainians in an airstrike today (number from BBC) along with injuring 271 others. The airstrike also partially hit a hospital. Did it trend on Tumblr? No. Did a single person acknowledge Russia is literally an imperialist state with expansionist tendancies? No.
The war in Ukraine and attempted annihilation of Ukraine by Russia is still happening and once again the world (especially self proclaimed anti-war and anti-racists) are silent. It shouldn't be like this. I hate that people are not anti war when it doesn't make them look morally superior and hide their bigoted tendancies.
No Jews, No News.
#jumblr#vents#its so fucking frustrating#and you know what i see a tonne of jews talk about ukraine not just as a comparison to the way goyim discuss israel#but also because many of us have family from there so its also kinda personal

it is so so so jarring meeting a gentile named like Rachel who introduces you to her children David and Levi and her husband Noah who also like... goes to church. or just generally doesnt realize how stereotypically jewish their whole family sounds. especially when half the time they hate jews
like imagine a white christian family naming their children fatima and mohammed or something. kinda weird right? youd never see that happen, because it makes no sense for them to name their children names from a culture (arab or muslim or what have you) that they don't belong to, at the very least without facing criticism. but it happens every single day with jewish people and jewish names and jewish everything bc jews arent allowed to have anything to themselves
trying to imagine an american (or even western in general tbh) society where all remnants of stolen judaism are removed is practically impossible because everything down to baby names are jewish and people dont even know it. its just so strange to think of
#“my name is [insert insanely jewish name] and my closest relation to jews is the time i went to my classmates bar mitzvah in middle school”#its just so weird#me talking#jumblr#idek what to tag this#judaism

The fact that Judaism is trending because of both the wave of bomb threats on synagogues and Bradley Cooper's Antisemitism Adventure (his huge fake prosthetic nose, and him basically stealing the story from a Jewish man) is so infuriating and so exhaustingly typical.
The fact that I see Judaism trending on Tumblr and immediately think "oh no. Something Bad is happening to us." We're never trending cause it's fucking good. I never get to be excited, it's just cold dread.
The fact that Antisemitism is getting worse everyday and the only ones who ever talk about it are other Jews. The fact that no one else fucking cares. The only ones who support us are other Jews. Even when gentiles talk about Nazis or white supremacists they don't want to help us. We're just their prop, the canary in the coal mine and the perfect victim.
The fact that everyone's uncomfortable with Jews still being here. Reminding them of things they'd rather forget.
The fact that it'd be easier for them if we were all dead. Then they could tell stories about our people, dressed in offensive caricatures, without us making a fuss.
#im so fucking pissed right now#jew tag#judaism#jumblr#when will we be able to catch a fucking break man#i keep thinking about dara horn man#she said it best#a hundred times#Sarah's bullshit#I'll probably delete this later i just AUGH#g-d im angry i just wanted to rant#me and every jewish person ever who went to hebrew school or shul or anything#we have armed security guards as some flimsy protection so we dont get hate crimed#so no one comes in and shoots our kids#by the way. its not normal. its been all ive ever known though#g-d forbid one of those bomb threats is real will gentiles slap on a fake nose and make a movie about it twenty years later

Yes, you caught me, O wise goy. I’m a dirty little Zionist and your movement that has seen an explosion in antisemitic incidents in multiple countries is completely innocent and anti racist. I’ve been lying all along about the racism I’ve experienced from them, as sneaky deceptive Jews are wont to do. There’s no racism to be found in demonizing people based on their ethnicity or in harassing Jews, and your five token antizionist Jews are representative of 100% of the Jewish community.
No, don’t worry, it isn’t racist that you entirely disregard the possibility that a Jew might be being honest when they says they’re experienced racism from loud Palestine supporters. Yes, I’m surely lying for sympathy points rather than telling the honest truth.
No, that doesn’t speak to a deep seated bias against Jews at all, all knowing goy.
#antisemitism#jumblr#left wing antisemitism#leftist antisemitism#jewish#anti zionisim#jewblr#antizionism#its just mental that this is actually what pro pali “antizionists” think is happening#I have legit been accused of lying about experiencing antisemitism from them. I’m sure many Jews reading this have.

A few days ago, in my quest to fight the antisemitism that lifted its head around the world following the massacre of October 7th, I stumbled upon a clip from a UN assembly where the speaker asked a simple question-
Dear Arab world, where are your Jews?
A lot of people think that Israeli roots come from Europe exclusively. But in fact, Jewish people were hunted in all corners of this world. In Europe, of course, but also in Asia, Africa and other places all over the planet.
My grandma is an Iraqi Jew. Iraqi Jewish community is one of the oldest Jewish communities in the world, being the direct descendants of the Babylonian exile Jews, so ancient it is an exile mentioned in the Bible.
Recent studies, in which DNA retrieved from canaanite burial lands was compared to current populations in the area of ancient Canaan, has found that Iraqi Jews share the highest similarity to canaanite DNA out of all Jewish communities, more than 50% of the DNA on average.
All the beautiful, peaceful Jewish communities of the Arab world were wiped out in the blink of an eye.
The Arabic world has never treated their Jewish communities as equal citizens, oftentimes robbing them of any rights and performing violent acts of genocide against them (check 'Farhud' on Google).
But their voice was silenced once they fled to Israel.
So I decided to recap my grandma's story in the comments of the clip:
Soon after, many Jewish people with Arabic, or 'Mizrahi' heritage, shared their stories as well:
Jewish people all over the planet were driven out of their homes, ethnically cleansed by their neighbors, rulers, and governments.
We are still not welcome in most of the countries of the Arab world. Unable to see glimpses of our history.
My grandma still wishes she could see the house she grew up in. Holding the memories, but unable to set foot in that land, because she would be executed.
Nevertheless, she's not a refugee. She might've fled to Israel, but in Israel, her family got equal rights as citizens, and she built a house on a land she now calls her home.
Don't erase my grandma's story. Don't erase the Jewish ethnic cleansing that brought her to seek a safe haven in Israel.
Israel is a home for more than half of the Jewish people on this planet. Out of the ~8,000,000 Jews who live in Israel, there are about ~2,500,000 Jews of Mizrahi heritage.
And as Golda Meir once said: "our secret weapon is that we have nowhere else to go."
#omi talks#jewish#Iraqi Jews#jumblr#israel#mizrahi jews#canaan#I hate the fact that Israel only trends on this hellsite when people wish its destruction#it's never two state solution it's always 'from the river to the sea'#that's just messed up

This was just a random thought but thinking about the way Zionists act like lineage is always linear (when as Jews they should know its not for a variety of reasons) and therefore they keep making the argument that Palestinians are directly descended from Arab settlers from the peninsula which is such a weird hill to die on. Because if you put aside the fact that there is evidence of Palestinians being descended from peoples existing in the region prior to the conquests who at that time were very diverse themselves!
There is also evidence that Arab settlers did in fact settle in Palestine both prior to and during the conquest, but so did Kurds, so did Turks during the Ottoman era, and so did many other ethnic groups during different periods… after all it was quite a cosmopolitan and religiously important place with many people such as pilgrims and traders passing through… however for the people who chose to make Palestine their home, over time they converged to become culturally and ethnically Arab (of the Palestinian variety) prior to national identity existing, and then later that became Palestinian in name.
But the reason why it’s such a weird hill to die on is that this was not unique to Palestine at all. If you look at Europe, so many countries as we know of them today constituted many ethnic groups within their borders including many languages spoken but simultaneously there was steady migration too, but over time those groups also converged to form a common ethnic, racial or national identity.
And I understand in some cases people were forcefully assimilated and forcefully converted, regardless of where in the world, but the point is why are Palestinians the only ones denied their homeland based on this argument despite it not being a unique case to Palestinian Arabs?
#I’m talking about non Jewish groups here mostly#in the case of Jews its a bit more complex for different reasons and I’m not knowledgeable enough on the old yishuv#Palestine

I have indeed been simply deleting asks that I receive about this, but I just want to say. I find it so discouraging that people are so thoroughly nation-state pilled that they think that the only way for millions of one group of people to be safe living in a geographical region is the existence of a nation state which is actively enacting ethnic cleansing on the other people in that region. GOD that's fucking depressing I'm so fucking depressed.
#I've been trying to find a way to state how I feel about this for months and months and months.#like I desperately need people to know where I stand on this because it's actually very important to me as a human being and as a Jew.#and I don't want to do it in a way that detracts from the people who are Actually suffering but like#I do think that the psychological impact of having this done in your name is not insignificant. its. really bad. its compounding a lot of#really bad things.#and i hate it.

hey. hey. you there. religious jew who wants to do so well because you truly do love g-d and you see His presence everywhere and you have faith in Him and He gives you everything. yes, you. if you're not a religious jew you can read this too this just isn't geared towards you.
ok now that i have your attention read this: g-d knows you. He made your body and your soul and He understands it fully. there's gonna be some times where you can't commit to something, where you can't fulfill that mitzvah. maybe you've got an amazing new job that will pay the rent and the bills youve been struggling with for months but you need to work shabbat. maybe you cant say prayers or blessings in public bc you dont feel safe to speak hebrew outside of your own home. maybe you struggle to keep up a routine and have a hard time with daily mitzvot. whatever it is i promise Hashem does not hate you and does not see you as a failure.
i definitely understand being a perfectionist and wanting to go all out. to show that you are fully devoted and that you appreciate Him at every point in your life. also lets be real sometimes you just wanna prove to yourself that you can do all these little things and that you have the discipline to do it. or you wanna impress someone else you admire. that's completely normal and those emotions are part of what makes us human (however those can be signs of underlying mental health issues so pls talk to someone if you need!). anyway, Hashem doesnt mind that we can't do it all all the time. sometimes we can't do it all ever. He knows that something is always better than nothing. we were given the gift of life, of food, of being jewish, of the torah, of everything else by g-d and we can express our gratefulness for that in so many ways and they are all important.
g-d is not that shitty teacher you had in middle school who judged you in front of the class every time your essay wasnt an A+. He created everything and gave us the joy of life and is here to guide us through us. He made us human with all of our possible emotions because that is what we are meant to be. we are meant to be flawed and without that we wouldnt even be people anymore. you're gonna have shitty days, weeks, months, even years and He understands that and even if you can only do tiny things it still matters.
#jewish#jumblr#also yes i talk about wanting to fight g-d regularly but i do love Him and i do have faith in Him and His creation#plus i have faith in humanity and i think humans are pretty cool#that includes you!!#i think anxiety and insecurities are so common in jewish ppl#and for religious jews that can manifest in feeling like we arent doing enough for g-d#makes me sad a lot of us feel that way but i get its hard to break those thought patterns

I resent the narrative of "it is unfair when bad things are done or said to Jews living outside of Israel, because they didn't even do anything" because it has an implication of "as opposed to Jews inside of Israel, who are inherently guilty and deserve it."
If you are saying the same things about us as antisemites trying to cover their own asses ("nooo I love Jews. Good Jews.") then you may want to reevaluate how you speak about us.
#and this goes for other Jews speaking about us#we may understand each other but those posts are visible to everyone and you may want to be aware of how your words can be interpreted#esp during a misinformation campaign being carried out across social media#its not a fair responsibility but its a responsibility nonetheless#jumblr#jewish#israel

Something I really don't understand is this obsession the anti-Israel crowd (in the West) have with death and martyrdom. All they care about is dying, and often killing for their cause; I see nothing about building a better future that isn't based on the murder of 9 million Israelis.
It's easy to die for a cause. The challenge is living to make a better tomorrow.
#jumblr#antisemitism#i/p#killing yourself and others does nothing to promote peace. frankly killing others is just terrorism in this scenario#if you want peace then you should be workng with jews and israelis#deal with antisemitism islamophobia and the rot in the knesset to move towards a two state solution#anything other than a two state solution is discrimination and death#dying for your cause is not cute or progressive. its lazy because you didnt want to put in the effort to do real work moving forwards#jews are 0.2 of the worlds population. if you refuse to engage with them you are the problem#majority voice doesnt mean correct. it just means loud#if your voice is leading to people killing themselves then you need to take a long hard look in a mirror
